I had a gluten free (pizza crust made in house) and my husband had filet Parmesan with pasta on the side and an amazing pasta sauce! The service was exceptional (Daniel was our server) & we met the owner whose Dad started the restaurant in Italy.
Caesar salad was perfection. Those croutons were divine, dressing was fantastic. Then came the pizza. We requested to add sausage to the pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. Beautiful space, service was on point. We will be back for the pizza and can hardly wait to try the pasta dishes.
Absolutely phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere. Perfectly timed delivery of food. Very impressed with our experience and will come back again soon.
It was highly recommended by friends who frequented the place in Brazil. We went together and loved pizza. Try it with mortadella and pistachios. And the dessert was great!
Service was amazing, not service that you see often in the states . Food was amazing as well! Will return. Fair prices
Food was fantastic!!! By far the best pizza in Orlando!!! The salad was delicious as well! Service is precisely cared to make you enjoy the environment even more!
This is the best tradicional Neapolitan pizza that you will find anywhere in Florida. They literally opened a week ago and is already the best restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time. I would rate 11 stars if I could. Go try it. You will not be disappointed!
Andre is an amazing server! He was attentive and thoughtful and suggested great dishes for our family of four!
Paparella is truly the best Italian restaurant in Orlando! From the warm atmosphere to the incredible service, everything was perfect. Our server, Juliana, was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. The highlight of the evening was the pasta prepared in the Parmesan wheel — it was a masterpiece of flavor, rich, creamy, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with exceptional service, Paparella is the place to go.
Lyta was our server & she was amazing. The food was exceptional, the pizza is out of this world. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka is so great!! A wonderful new restaurant in town. Great job & must check out.
It was incredible! The food, the cocktails, everything. The espresso martini was my favorite! Oh my god! You have to try it. Thank you, Andree, for the excellent service and for being such a lovely person.
Nice looking new restaurant. Noisy due to the high ceiling and full with diners on Christmas Day evening. I highly suggest you make reservations. Great for large parties.Thiago was a very attentive server and polite. The food was fabulous and came out of the kitchen within 15-30 minutes. Large servings- so the entrees were worth the price. (Pictured- chic parm, Alfredo with steak, vodka red sauce pasta, cheese pizza, Tiramisu.) The owner stopped by the table twice, once to help clear the table. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful around the restaurant. You have to ask for their complimentary bread that was heated in the wood burning fireplace. We’ll be back!
Great food , environment, and service from all staff! Several options in the menu. We’ve had the carpaccio and bruschetta, can’t say which one we liked the most! As the main course we’ve had filet au pouvre and octopus, both cooked to perfection. To finish our meal, the banoffee was amazing, a must have!! We will definitely come back and try different options! We’ve heard the pizza is amazing! Thanks to the chef and all staff! Special thanks to our server, Gisela! Will see you again soon!
We recently visited Paparella Trattoria and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was truly delicious and the service was outstanding. We started with a carpaccio that was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The pizzas were spectacular — full of authentic taste and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed an Italian beer, which was served ice cold and in its bottle, just as it should be. What really made the experience stand out was the attention to detail. The staff offered us plenty of Parmesan cheese, olive oil directly from the bottle, and a variety of glazes and sauces to complement our dishes. Their attentiveness and knowledge of the menu made us feel very well taken care of. To end the evening, we tried their desserts, which were simply delicious. The lava cake was absolutely outstanding — rich, warm, and perfectly executed. Overall, Paparella delivered a genuine Italian dining experience with excellent food, great service, and thoughtful touches throughout. We look forward to returning soon!
This place is AMAZING!!!! The service outstanding! Now the food.... As an appetizer we ordered the Mona Lisa pizza (there were 4 sharing the food) with catupiry stuffed crust. Then we got the family Filet Mignon with Alfredo sauce instead of the pomodoro (it was delicious), for dessert, they suggested a Dubai Chocolate pizza (pictured). It was INSANE good!! We will be back to try the other amazing dishes.
had dinner at Paparella and absolutely loved everything. From the cocktails to the appetizers, the main courses, and the dessert — every single detail was outstanding. The flavors, the presentation, and the quality were on another level. The drinks were amazing, the starters were delicious, and the main dishes were impeccable. It was one of those meals that makes you want to come back as soon as possible. A very special thank-you to Chef Junior, who prepared everything with extraordinary flavor and attention to detail. And we also want to thank our servers Thiago, Fran, Gisela, Thalita and Andrea for their exceptional service — kind, attentive, fast, and truly professional. Everything was excellent. A wonderful dinner, incredible food, and a team that truly made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be returning! 10/10
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The only thing we noticed inside was that the booth felt a bit tight, making it slightly uncomfortable to get in and sit down. Even though we paid for our dessert—as expected—we were surprised that, after confirming it was our wedding anniversary, we didn’t receive any written note or acknowledgment. It felt a bit insensitive, especially on such a special occasion. The atmosphere was a bit too loud. In the parking area, there was someone watching the cars. Maybe the intention was to offer extra care, but it actually felt a little strange and gave us the impression that the area might be unsafe. Overall, it was a good experience with amazing food and great service, but with a few details that could be improved.
The service is very good, thanks Guisela! She is so friendly! The food is truly delicious!!! We had carpaccio, pizza and four cheese pasta with fillet mignon. They were perfect! My new favorite Brazilian restaurant in Orlando!
First time here, and what can I say? From the moment we walked in, the attention and hospitality were outstanding — starting with the hostess, then our server Ana, and even Maria who came to our table to check on us. Truly excellent service. The carpaccio was delicious. The Margherita pizza? Absolutely phenomenal — out of this world! We ended with the tiramisu, a real explosion of flavors. I highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be coming back many more times!
Thank you to all the staff for the great hospitality and experience! Thank you to Guisela for all the attention, great service and hospitality. This place definitely deserves more stars! Wow! We are just amazed at how much we enjoyed our night and the atmosphere here at the restaurant! Definitely recommend this place ! The food , the service are phenomenal!
Food is delicious and fresh everything tasted amazing , service was great by Fernando. Would definitely make a reservation they were very busy on a Thursday night! Would definitely visit again!🍝 I got Martina’s risotto and it was 10/10 very good!
I love the atmosphere and the food is incredible! The chicken catupiry pizza was delicious. It was very fresh and full of flavor. Andree was an amazing server: attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Food, service, and atmosphere were all a solid 5/5
I absolutely loved this place! I’ve already been there twice and tried several different pizza flavors, and every single one was excellent. The crust is super light, which makes the pizzas even better. I also tried their Old Fashioned and it was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
First time to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was the best decision to make. From the welcoming to the no waiting time to the exquisite plates and delicious wine to be surprise by our amazing waitress Maria with a birthday card and a free brownie cake to end our night spending a memorable time to remember, we recommend 100 percent. Thank you again to Maria for the excellent service.
the place is wonderful. the food simply fantastic... a delicious burrata... homemade tomate sauce. and what about the traditional pasta made inside the cheese? to finish the service note 1000 to our server Andrea that was amazing
I had an amazing experience at Paparella. Thiago and the entire team were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about great service. They offered excellent recommendations, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making the whole experience even better. We felt welcomed from start to finish, and it truly made a difference. Exceptional service + wonderful food + great environment = the perfect combination. We’ll definitely be back!
Have been multiple times and have never been disappointed. Food is immaculate, and our servers have always been great, especially Daniel when we had him. Great drinks and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
We came to Papparella Trattoria after spending the day at the park, and it was the perfect choice! We ordered one of the family plates, and it was not only absolutely delicious, but also plenty for everyone — full of authentic flavor and beautifully prepared. What truly made our experience unforgettable was our amazing server, Maria R. She was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Her service went above and beyond and made our meal even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend this place for great food, generous portions, and outstanding service! 🍝❤️
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, every single thing we ordered was excellent. Andree was our server and he was incredible too! So sweet and kind, not a single bad thing. If you are looking for amazing food, come here💛
The service was great and fast. Gizela had a great attitude and very friendly. The food was phenomenal.
What a nice surprise at Papparella !!! Nice environment, friendly associates and excellent food !!! ❤️ A new place in Orlando that you must visit.... and CHEERS to our server Talita: super helpful and nice. We love it !!! ✌️
Absolutely amazing! We ordered pizza, risotto and pasta and they were all above my expectations. Excellent food, nice environment and great staff. We had a great experience and we will definitely come back!
Great food with generous portions. Not your typical Italian- you'll find authentic stuff like real carbonara, pizzas with long fermentation dough, etc. Recommended!
I really enjoyed this place the food is awesome, i really enjoyed the carpaccio salad! The vibes were great. But most importantly the service was very good. Our server Lita was superb and she really made us feel like we were welcome she was very sweet and helpful! Definitely recommend.
Papparella Trattoria was recommended by a friend. I’d have to say we were a little hesitant but man I’m I glad we went. The server was awesome. Described everything precisely. We ordered some old fashions and I’d have to say some of the best I’ve ever had. Food came out so quickly I was shocked. We even had dessert. The person I was with said it was some of the best he has ever had, even compared to what he ate in Italy.when we finished we were getting ready to leave and the owner came out to say hi. We told him we were very impressed and would be back again next time we are in town. It was neat to see Italian food experienced in a way I wasn’t used to seeing. Next time I’m going to ordered whatever I saw there being served out of a giant cheese wheel.
This was our second visit and we’re so happy! Everything was wonderful, food, service and atmosphere. Andrea was our server and she was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient, and superb all-around. We started with cocktails and the carpaccio appetizer. Very delicious! Then we had pizza. The crust is so light and airy, toppings are high quality making it one of the best pizzas we’ve had. We will certainly be back because there’s so much more on the menu we want to try!
A truly wonderful trattoria. From the service to the food, everything was impeccable. Andrée made the experience even better: attentive, friendly, and extremely professional. All the dishes were excellent, made with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. You can really feel the care and quality in every detail, from presentation to the last bite. It was a great experience, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. The highlight of the meal was the filet with penne in a cheese sauce, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Gizela’s service truly made the experience even better. She was outstanding, very attentive, professional, and took the time to explain the menu in detail. Her recommendations were spot on and showed great knowledge and care. We felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Excellent experience at Papparella Trattoria. From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on the atmosphere is cozy and elegant, the food is authentic and beautifully presented, and the overall vibe makes you feel like you stepped into a true Italian trattoria. We tried a few different dishes and honestly enjoyed everything. The pizza had a perfect crust, the meatballs were rich and flavorful, and the risotto was outstanding. You can tell there is real care in the kitchen. The true highlight of the night was the service. Daniel made the entire experience even better. Attentive without being intrusive, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He made us feel valued as guests and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A small disclaimer: this is not the cheapest Italian option in town. However, you are clearly paying for quality, consistency, ambiance, and especially superior service. In that sense, it absolutely delivers value. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service from Daniel. Definitely a place worth visiting and coming back to.
This trattoria is very good. It's definitely worth visiting. The pizzas are equally delicious, but the pappardelle made inside a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese wheel is a must-try.
This place was busy! I’m glad we made a reservation and I recommend getting one if you plan on being seated right away. Drinks: 2 glass each of red and white wine. Appetizer: Caprese salad was good but not the best. The mozzarella was tasteless but the tomatoes were fresh. I loved that the balsamic glaze had a hint of sweetness. Mains: Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was so so fresh and the cream was amazing. You have an option to add what protein you want to the pasta. The chicken paired well with the pasta. The other pasta had steak in it. It was great just a little too much sauce. Regardless it tasted so fresh the steak was tender. Dessert: I normally don’t like chocolate on chocolate but we LOVED this. If we weren’t so full we would have finished this. Overall I would most definitely recommend this spot to others.
Very loud Italian restaurant 😁 but you can expect loudness from Italians. Food is somewhat good, I would say flavory average, a little pricey. I tasted 3 dishes, and they have a good filet mignon, our waitress was nice. While you wait to be sited they bring you some appetizers. Everybody very polite and and restaurant is well decorated, very beautiful establishment.
Ok, this is a nice looking place, authentic Italian Trattoria owned by Brazileans which lacks Canolis and salt (I asked for it and didn't have any salt in the place). Food is a little overpriced for the quality of it. The ice cream was crystalized (old) and the Dulce de Leche was not it. Decent pizza, little soggy for my taste and service was lacking a little. This place has lots of potential to become a great restaurant but for now its only a dream.
The place is very pretty and clean! The service is very good! The fillet with peppercorns sauce is VERY good! The pizza is good as well! The only think it’s okay it’s the pasta. Could be homemade. Fresh pasta. And the tomato sauce taste like can , could be done in the house as well!! (: The dessert tiramisu was good
My partner found this spot on social media, and since we live nearby, we decided to give it a try. We visited around 6 PM on a Thursday and were seated right away. The atmosphere was surprisingly upscale for the plaza it’s in, which was a nice touch. The restaurant had about 30 tables, but only 5–6 were filled the entire evening. Our server was kind, though a bit awkward. We placed our order within 10 minutes of sitting down, but the food didn’t arrive for 45 minutes to an hour. We tried the Chicken Marsala and the Lasagna. The Chicken Marsala was just okay—much sweeter than expected, almost like teriyaki chicken with mushrooms, rather than the more savory style I prefer. The lasagna presentation in the Le Creuset dish was nice, but the flavor itself wasn’t anything memorable. The manager stopped by several times after our food came out to apologize for the delay and ask for feedback, which I appreciated. Still, as a first impression, the overall experience fell short—$85 for two entrées, one glass of wine, and a bottle of Perrier (with tip) didn’t feel worth the value. It’s also worth noting this is more of a Brazilian take on Italian food, which is different from Italian-American cuisine. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this restaurant based on our experience. For better value, service, and food, I’d suggest Frescos or Peperoncino nearby.
Went to Papparella on October 4th with friends that due busy life, we can only meet every 6 months and unfortunately, besides some other people say, our experience was awful, and I will explain why: I arrived couple minutes after my friends and once I sat, the waitress Juliana asked “what you want to drink?” Okay… new restaurant, I just arrived, how about introducing herself and explain the drink menu? I ask for water because seems like she was in a hurry. Then with more time, I looked at the drink menu and ordered a caipirinha. Then from time to time she was checking on the table and explained that because restaurant was at capacity, food was taking a while. Nice advice. But after taking the order, seems like she just forgot about the table. Walked by the table avoiding eye contact, we had to ask to refill the water (should be standard) and at the end, she didn’t refill the water at all. After the food, we could grab her attention to ask for a dessert. Ordered a petite gateau and 35 minutes lates still nothing, and she still avoiding eye contact. At this point, it was already late, restaurant getting empty and her service getting worse. Had to talk to the manager, Caue, which acknowledged the situation and probably talked to her (while we were there) and after all the checks done, can you believe Juliana walked to our table to have it out it!? What!? Unbelievable. For this level of a restaurant, I was expecting a much better experience. Another observation is that Juliana, after swiping the credit card, instead of letting me do the review of her service on the machine, she gave all 5 starts to herself? Oh lord, what was terrible was getting worse and worse. That’s why the restaurant owner believes everything is going smooth, because there fraud on his own system. Other than this disaster with the waitress, I want to give a shout out to the kitchen. Everything was delicious.
The worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. The food is mediocre. Too much salt in all the dishes ordered. The booths are very tight and glued together, so if the customer behind you moves you move with him. I ordered a creme brulle that was watery, clearly the chef doesn’t understand about consistency. When I left the restaurant, I had the unpleasant to find my car blocked by an SUV parked in a compact space making it impossible for me to get into the car. I asked for help in the restaurant and the ignored me and said that the parking wasn’t their responsibility, that other cars had been hit there before. That I could just go in the passaenger’s side and leave. Oh, let's not forget that I spent over $ 200 dollars to eat there.. I was a customer. I said I was gonna call the police and they just said go ahead and do it. It took me an hour to leave. But as soon as the police showed up (which was fast), 10 min later they found the driver. Btw, the restaurant was the only place opened on that location, meaning anyone parked there would be inside the restaurant. And they didn’t do anything till the police came. I really hope that whoever is reading this review think twice before wasting your time and money going to a lousy restaurant. NOT WORTH IT. If you want, I can recommend much better restaurants.
I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately today’s experience was unacceptable and felt very disrespectful. I went to Paparellas Trattoria today with a group of nine women to celebrate a birthday. From the beginning, the waitress was rude, impatient, and showed clear unwillingness to help. If I’m not mistaken, her name was Gisela. We informed her at the start that the bill would be split individually, and she even took names and noted each person’s order. However, at the end, she decided on her own to split the bill evenly, claiming that “everyone ordered almost the same thing,” which was simply not true. Some people did not order drinks, others ordered cheaper dishes, and only a few shared appetizers. It was unfair, but due to her attitude, everyone felt uncomfortable arguing further. To make things worse, I ordered a pizza to go, which was clearly only mine. The waitress included that pizza in the group’s bill, meaning everyone was charged for my personal order. When I politely pointed this out, instead of apologizing or fixing the mistake, she responded very rudely and dismissively. When she later brought me the pizza, she practically threw it at me while walking away, without stopping or saying a word. The behavior was shocking and extremely unprofessional. We were then rushed out of the table due to other reservations, which only reinforced the feeling that we were not welcome. After leaving, every single person in our group shared the same impression: the service was rude, careless, and disrespectful from start to finish. What makes this especially upsetting is that this was not a misunderstanding or an isolated moment — it was a consistent pattern of poor attitude and lack of professionalism throughout the entire experience. This level of service is unacceptable for any restaurant, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebration. Management should take this feedback seriously, as no customer should ever be treated this way.
This restaurant is not Italian as they claim to be. It's a Brazilian restaurant trying to pass as Italian. We were first into the restaurant at their opening time. We asked for a booth and the hostess was immediately irritated at our request. She said she didn't know if she could accommodate the request because she had so many reservations. Mind you, it is Wednesday and there was NO one waiting, and every single table was empty. (You could hear the crickets it was so empty). We were the 1st table of the night with no one else at the restaurant yet. She reluctantly walked us over to a booth, as if we were asking for a free room in the penthouse. The food was super salty so be prepared for that, and ask for lots of water right of the bat. The only thing I can say is that our waitress was sweet and attentive. There are so many better restaurants in Orlando; don't bother with this one. At $100 a person, you can get much better Italian cuisine. We don't mind spending the money when the experience is worth it. And we won't be back to give them a second chance.
Ordered an appetizer from the menu which was Burrata with tomatoes and basil, what came out was Burrata with some tomatoes and read sauce. I mentioned to the waiter I wanted what was in the picture on the menu he said no it comes with sauce. I told him then take the picture off the menu. They ended up fixing it. I asked for bread he told me it’s a charge, I said ok no problem. When my appetizer came out my bread came with it and some more bread. He told me the other one was included. I said why didn’t you tell me that and make me buy bread. 2 minutes into eating our appetizer the waitress brings out our main meal. I said we are not done with our appetizers, she said sorry but we are busy and it’s ready now. I was so upset I called the manager after discussing everything he said we were right felt like they were rushing us and trying to kick us out. The manager said he would cover the meal. That didn’t happen. The pastas were bad. I ordered Pasta Carbonara and my friend order Penne alla Vodka. My pasta came out with Rigatoni which was so soft and bad. Real Pasta Carbonara is with Spaghetti and my friends meal it came with regular sauce. The tiramisu was bad and espresso burnt. The only good food was the oven pizza. The restaurant is not authentic Italian food. Trust me if you really know Italian food.
