Plantees is a popular vegan restaurant known for its delicious plant-based burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries. Customers rave about the flavor and quality, with many non-vegans enjoying the food. Some find it a bit pricey, and a mandatory 15% tip has been introduced.
Tip: The sauces are amazing but overpriced. Consider that a mandatory 15% gratuity may be added to your order.
Plantees is a solid stop if you’re craving something casual, satisfying, and laid-back. I went with the chicken nuggets and fries, paired with a Coke—and honestly, you can never go wrong with a good nugget. Simple, classic, and done right. The ranch dipping sauce was okay, but the real standout was their agave sauce—off-the-charts amazing and absolutely worth trying. That sauce alone elevates the whole meal. The outdoor seating arrangement was another big win. It’s spacious, comfortable, and has a great vibe, plus they’re pet-friendly, which always earns extra points in my book. Easy food, great sauce, welcoming atmosphere, and a spot you can relax and hang out—Plantees definitely delivers. I’d happily come back again. 🌱🍟🐾
The food is delicious, the entire menu is completely plant-based (vegan). I ordered the signature burger and I loved it, both the flavor and the size, as everything was well-proportioned. It was my favorite, to the point that we ordered it again, along with my husband who had ordered a different one. I've eaten other plant-based burgers at other restaurants, and this one exceeded my expectations because the size of the "patty" didn't overpower the rest of the burger, as has happened to me at other places. The texture wasn't heavy at all, but very light, just like the other ingredients. POV. The photo doesn't do it justice, as I took it quickly because we were very hungry.😅
#vegetarian. Tried Plantees in Orlando and really enjoyed it! We ordered the Signature Burger with a chicken veggie patty, and it had a great texture and flavor. The tots were crispy, hot, and delicious, especially with the barbecue ranch sauce – definitely recommend getting that. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Ordering is simple – you can use the kiosk on the side table or order directly at the counter. There’s no indoor seating, but there are covered picnic benches outside, which worked out great. They also have two outdoor restrooms nearby. Parking is convenient with a small lot right next to the restaurant, plus additional street parking if needed. Overall, it’s a really good fast-food option for vegans and vegetarians. I didn’t try the shakes, salads, or other menu items this time, but they looked tasty and worth coming back for. Definitely recommend giving Plantees a try!
I’m a first time customer who came based on a friend’s recommendation. This place is amazing! We got the kale salad which was really fresh and delicious, a strawberry shake, buffalo chicken sandwich and a burger. Super impressed! The place was clean and the staff was awesome.
Food and service so good my sauce is smiling!!! We’ve come before but tonight’s team is definitely the dream team. Great energy, amazing teamwork and speedy service. They had many orders and were the busiest we’ve seen and yet we received our food faster than usual and it was DELICIOUS!!! We even saw a gentleman going above and beyond for customers, taking recently completed orders outside and fulfilling everyone’s needs beyond standard service. Back team working effortlessly together, all with smiles. Great, great team!
Perfect flavors, the food is delicious 😋 the burgers taste amazing, the fries are always perfect, the nuggets are out of this world. I have brought my no vegetarian family members and they also agreed to it. And the milkshakes are great as well. And the space is really nice and pet friendly
this was the most delicious quick service food ive ever tried! it can be very hard to find comfort food as a vegan and this place is perfect! make sure to get the loaded fries!:)
Plantee is a gem! We had the Signature Burger and it was absolutely amazing — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and super satisfying. You can really tell they put a lot of thought and love into their food. The vibe of the place is welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re in Orlando and looking for a delicious plant-based option, definitely check out Plantee. I’ll be back soon for sure!
The menu is nice and simple, which I always appreciate, and the food itself is super fresh and well-made. Even though it's outdoor seating only, they've got plenty of shade, so you won't be melting in the Florida summer heat. Definitely a relaxing and chill place to grab a bite!
The team members were super kind and helpful because i was my first time there. The Plant Style Fries were absolutely amazing and highly recommend this place even if you’re not vegan/vegetarian!
This is a fantastic place to hang out with people and eat! It has a decent amount of parking and if you want to eat outside, you could. If you want to read, you can. If you want to vibe, you can, but commonly, if you want to eat a good option of vegan food, well you can. You could enter a room which is neat and green ( which is obvious considering the place is green.) you can order and then sit outside which I said before and vibe on the green grass while sitting on a chair. SO OUTSTANDING, Right??? Burgers are amazing, fries are amazing, Nuggs are amazing, drinks are amazing ( cause I’m vegetation ) Now, if you want to come here, please do and dig in. This place is worth it and there is a rock in roll music for people who are more “active”. Oh, you’re in for a treat! DIG IN
I went here the other day and got a burger, fries, and a milkshakes. The food here is limited so beware of that. They only have chicken sandwiches, burgers, fries, milkshakes, salads, and some refreshments. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by the burger, I usually don’t like vegan cheese but this one tastes 🤤 delicious. Anyways, the food here was good so 😃

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL VIIIIBBBBEEEE!!! The BOMB!!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I got the chicken sandwich and tots and Kale salad. Highly recommended all three. And the sundae. Sundae too tiny though. Not worth the price but was tasty treat. First time here. Wish they had this place where I live…would go all the time!

I came with my boyfriend today and the place was absolutely amazing! Everything from the food, to the people serving our food. Definitely would recommend if you wanna have an awesome lunch here! Mrs. Marlen was the person who served us, and she was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She definitely made our stay better. Food was awesome, too! And the atmosphere, fantastic. They play music while you enjoy your food. Overall, perfect place! Definitely visiting again! -Clay
My family stopped here on the way in for vacation for a week and we've been 4 times since lol. They cannot stop raving about how delicious it is. A new favorite for sure!
Went in today and got me a Plantees burger and the tall dude working the front was very cool and talkative gave excellent customer service. Will definitely be going back soon.
As a vegan it is always a struggle to find a good place to eat. Well, we found it with Plantees. The selection is small but what we tried was so tasty! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband had the mushroom burger. Both came with seasoned shoestring fries and were absolutely delicious. The chicken was a huge piece and it was so good. I loved that it wasn't some attempt that turned out small and unsatisfying. Nope. This was so big that i couldn't eat the whole sandwich so my husband had to finish it. They have outside seating with 3 large AC units to keep you cool. They are dog friendly and even brought out a bowl of water for my dog without me asking. So sweet. There is ample parking but on street may be needed if it's rocking. A lot if folks were doing takeout so obviously a goid option if you want to avoid the summer humidity. Servers are friendly and service is fast. I definitely recommend Plantee for a plant based meal.
Food and service is great one of my favorite places to go to since I’ve moved pop to Florida if I’m not there then I’m always ordering through Uber Eats. I’ve been a vegan for two years and it’s been so hard for me to find a place that could master that cheeseburger taste and this place has hands-down got it
Honestly hands down the best vegan burgers anywhere In FL. They are a little small so me and wifey got the double after the first time and they are just filling and their signature sauce is what makes us come back . The cheese fries are amazing a must have & the milkshakes are definitely to die for
Great food over all, burgers were awesome. Perfect balance of flavors and textures, plant fries were amazing ,will be most definitely be coming back to experience the rest of the menu. The chocolate shake is kick ass great! Its a must for the first try here, promise no disappointment . Had a Fantastic time!
Just got Plantees delivered to Lowes at Universal. Absolutely outstanding!! This is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had!! The cheese fries and Kale salad were 10/10 too! We’ll be ordering all week while we’re here! Wish they had a location in Atl
I saw this place on Instagram and I thought it was worth a try. I had In & Out before and really missed their animal style fries. We ordered the Deluxe Chick’n, a single burger, and the “plant style” fries. Everything was SO GOOD. I legit could not tell the difference between the vegan version or the real deal of the fries! I cannot believe everything here is completely plant-based/vegan, and I was so impressed.
Take a yummy fast food place - then add an über dope ambience, a crew of workers actually excited to work and communicate with customers, and food more than worth its price and you'll have Plantees. As a veggieboi restaurant, I've noticed more than a few reviewers remark on its price with a negative perception; as a veggieboi person, I have to call out how silly it is to call nuggets for $9.50 or a gourmet worthy burger for $10 anything short of a solid deal (especially given the standard price for vegan restaurants like ethos and, though a favorite of mine, winter park biscuit co). The fries are immensely packed and more than enough for one person, so I'd recommend getting it as a side only if you're incredibly hungy 😋 I was impressed with my friend's "plant style fries" but once again, a whole lotta taters for one lil veggieperson (def not a complaint). I was a little let down at the absence of a normie folk BBQ sauce, but the Buffalo spicy sauce and honey mustard were solid. Easily a yumyum plant based 5 malcolms out of 5.
Stopped in for a snack and was delighted. The serving of shoe string fries is plentiful and the spicy sauce is tasty. Their oreo milkshake is very thick and delicious. Shared a bite of each with my meat eating folks and they also enjoyed. Looking forward to trying a burger. Will definitely go back.
Whoa! Plantees plant based burgers blows them all out of the water! It's almost indistinguishable from Shake Shack! Made fresh to order and served hot with perfectly melty cheese and fresh veggie toppings, this is THE place for your plant curious friends. Be sure to share that side of fries, it could feed 4 or a really hungry 2! The agave mustard is fantastic for dipping. All in an adorable green bag, you won't be disappointed chilling on their porch (with mist fans and heater) and chowing down on these burgers. Plus they're open late!!!
Man, gabby is such a hard worker. Always puts a smile on my families face. My brother Richard loves this place and she always says hi to him and makes sure he gets his food as soon as possible since he always comes and goes quickly. Last time he was there she walked out and yelled his name even though the whole foyer was full. Genuinely the best customer service
Very much a close comparison to in-n-out but better cause it’s vegan. Price point is to be expected considering they’re using premium vegan substitutes. And very worth it! I love how simplistic the menu is, cause what they’re doing is perfection. Milk shakes were delicious as were the house made sauces. Super friendly and attentive staff too. Definitely my new go to whenever I’m craving a burger and plant style fries 🍔
Coming from CA, this place reminds me a whole lot of In-N-Out - from the food presentation to the actual taste, it's very reminiscent of it all around. But of course, miles ahead being 100% plant based! The burger itself is an impossibly patty, which could easily make it forgettable considering how many other places use it now but Plantees really made it their own with some distinct flavors that stand out from the dozens of other impossible burger offerings out there. As someone who typically opts for unique house patties over impossible/beyond ones, I was very pleasantly surprised by it The "Plant Style" fries are basically a veganized version of the In-N-Out "Animal Fries" and the serving size you get is massive. Very, very good. Plantees also has what I'd consider to be the best plant-based milkshake in all of central FL. I've tried quite a few around Orlando, Gainesville, and elsewhere and while good, others will usually have a very noticeable under taste of coconut or whatever other base they may be using. Not here though! All you get is the taste of glorious thick ice-creamy milkshake goodness. I highly recommend the Vanilla Oreo. I can't stress enough how much every bite of everything brought In-N-Out to mind. If you like them, you'll definitely like Plantees. Just one minor gripe: everything is fairly priced for what you get except for the burger in my opinion - seemed a little undersized, especially the patty. Me and my gf shared everything and were surprisingly satisfied but agreed we could've been that much more happier with just a slightly bigger burger, if not just a bigger patty. Other than that, everything was perfect! Staff was also awesome - very friendly and came out to check on us during our meal. We'll definitely be here a lot. A very welcome addition to Mills!!
So Glad I came to PLANTEES… best decision I made all day. Being vegan 🌱 is a hard enough task…it requires much thought & preparation….So we mostly cook our own food. However; when you’re able to go eat out and the food is good and the environment is soothing… you’ve conquered the day. Thanks to the Amazing Host Chris & The Awesome Chef Hector…. Great Job!!
My husband and I LOVE Plantees! Their burgers are amazing. I am not a huge meat eater but I’ve always craved a burger once in awhile, and this place hits the spot. Their sauces are delicious, I love the Agave Mustard. The shakes are amazing and as someone with a lactose intolerance, it’s nice to be able to drink a shake and not feel sick. In fact, that’s the best thing about this place, I never feel icky after eating an entire meal because everything is made so fresh and with the best ingredients. The prices are a little higher than Wendy’s or McCdonalds of course, but that’s standard with vegan food: but SO worth it! FORGOT TO SAY HOW AMAZING THE NUGGETS ARE! 10/10 😘
10 out of 10 for sure , I came 3 times ,3 different occasions, I don’t wait to long food is absolutely amazing, areas small yet quiet, not much parking which is fine , typically people are in and out , I ordered a double patty bbq burger lunch special a shroom burger with a lemonade which so was good ! , be careful though coming here can be addictive 😅.
Food to price ratio Just makes sense Service- is fast and knowledgeable of what they are serving as well as being 100% vegan, (No cross contamination) Atmosphere- simple patch of land is calming and not overwhelming Definitely check this place out if your looking for a place to have a quick and easy eat
As someone who has eaten both meat and vegetarian burgers, this place has one of the best burgers I have ever had. It’s friendly, clean, and there is cool art to look at while you eat. If you’re looking for good tasting food, this is it right here!
Update: I just had the new Chick'n Deluxe sandwich and it was great. Even the inside of the chick'n looks like real chicken. The faux breast was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. It was very tasty and has the best fresh tasting pickles I have had in a long time. Leave them off if you want but this is a well balanced sandwich. This is the best thing I have put in my mouth in a very long time. We have been waiting for a plant based burger place in town. I would challenge any meat eater to do a blind taste test. Stacked with great ingredients the cz burgers are to die for. I recommend getting your fries "plant style" for a real treat. The plant style fries have their signature sauce a definite new favorite (I need a bottle) and caramelized onions. The food was so good we had to try shakes. The chocolate shake is so creamy and rich. Well done Plantees, we will be back!
I selected five stars because i didn’t want to lower their rating but my real stars would be three or four for overpriced food. I go here for the plantees fries and shake a couple times a year. I wish they served these in half sizes. Food is tasty but overall I feel like it’s overpriced, especially being junk food.
Really rad spot in the Winter Park area! The guy who took our order was incredibly nice and fun. He answered all of our questions and made good suggestions. We ended up having the Shroom burger, the BBQ Bacon burger, and the Plant Style fries. Eating our delicious meal on the open air patio we enjoyed the fun decor and the pet friendly atmosphere. There is also free two hour parking up and down Mills avenue so we had no issue finding a spot nearby. Overall— really delicious food and fantastic atmosphere. Not to mention the reasonable prices(especially for FILLING vegan food)!!!!!
Great ambience. Friendly employees. Food amazing! Don’t let the prices scare you, it’s worth every penny and more. My hubs said it was the best plant based burger and he is a meat eater. If this wasn’t plant based I would be questioning because I even thought it was meaty. 😅The cheese was melted too which plant based cheeses a little difficult. Such a great experience and happy taste buds and tummy. I definitely recommend.
Me and the family was in town for universal studios and I found this place 😩🙌🏾. I’m such a picky vegan so I appreciate when I find good flavorful vegan restaurants. Came here 2 days in a row! We basically ordered the whole menu. Everything was good day 1 and day 2! The vanilla shake is 🔥🔥🔥 and the I like the around Palmer. Also I love the vibe, the packaging, the plants and the sauces!! Everything 🔥🔥🔥 Returning!
If you’re wondering where vegans get their protein, this cafe has the answer! Their variety of plant-based burgers is incredible—packed with flavor, texture, and, yes, protein. The shakes are equally amazing, creamy, and satisfying without any dairy. The menu is creative, the ingredients fresh, and the vibe welcoming. A must-visit for anyone curious about vegan food or looking for a delicious, healthy meal!
If you're thinking about going here — YES! DO IT! Great atmosphere! I felt the vibe as soon as we walked up. The menu is straight forward and makes it easy to decide. You order and pay on the touch screen at the counter. It is elegantly laid out, easy to use and navigate. Food is made freshly in the kitchen that you can see right into from the lobby. The system will text you when your order is ready. It was a surprisingly very short wait. Seating is outside on the patio at picnic tables overlooking the road making for a chill vibe. Napkins and utensils are on the counter out there. I ordered the deluxe chick'n sandwich with fries. FANTASTIC! That sauce is HEAVEN! The bun was soft and sturdy, the sandwich was well layered with the toppings and didn't fall apart as I bit in. The fries were the perfect crispiness, I ate them as they were served and didn't even touch my ketchup packets. I only had one complaint: I was on a work trip. My coworker (that used to live in the area) suggested we go there for lunch. My complaint—this is their only location, so, I'll have to wait to try more menu items until I'm in Orlando again 😫 Come to Fort Lauderdale!!! I need to try more of your selections!!!! My coworkers Shroom burger looked AMAZING! Great work setting this place up. Great job to your staff. Thanks for the great experience!
Caleb is awesome and provides service you can't really find anymore. Everyone is welcomed! The location, couldn't ask for better. This place has the best plant based burgers I've ever came across during my 10 year plant based journey. I wish I took a picture of my food, but my hunger got the best of me! My wife and I drive from Winter Garden to this side of town regularly now.
Plantees may be my new weekly spot. Went 2x this past weekend and everything was perfect. Love how basic and to-the-point the menu is. Burgers were tasty and just the right size, shakes were refreshing & the plant style fries were insanely good. The staff are friendly and even the food packaging is cool. Would highly recommend (and i’m not even vegan)!
GF buns also available. Perfect spot for quick late dinner with family of gluten and dairy allergies! Quick turnaround and food was delicious. Thick chocolate shakes with Oatly ice cream hit the spot for dessert.
The food was fantastic! Hot and fresh. Nice outdoor seating at night. The staff is super friendly and hospitable! We had the tots, shuroom and the plant based chicken options. They were all delicious but the chicken sandwich was the bomb!
Got the signature single, fries with plant sauce for dipping, and the vanilla Oreo shake. Next time I'll try the Arnold Palmer. Ordered at the kiosk. Super friendly staff. They even brought our food out to where we were sitting. Note that there's only outdoor seating available, but it's shaded and has fans. 10/10 would absolutely recommend, and will come back if I'm ever in Orlando again.
This vegan establishment was recommended to me through a Facebook group (Fataxx Vegans are Awesome), & it did not disappoint! I had the signature burger & my partner had the deluxe sandwich. It was good. The employees were sweet. The place was clean. When we were eating outside, it was like having a perfect meal on a perfect Florida day.
Wow. Just wow. I love places like this because it really showcases how far vegan food has come. 10/10 for sure. It was so good I ate my burger in the parking lot and immediately went inside for something else to try.
The food here is delicious. Their burger patty is like that 1950s steak n shake style. They have chic'in sandwiches and cheesy fries. Almost hard to believe its all plant based. They're shakes are delicious as well. Oat milk based and surprisingly thick and creamy! I was helped by Andy and they were great and helping me decide what I wanted to try for my first time there. Im so indecisive. I ended up getting the BBQ Bac'n burger with fries and a shake. so delicious! Thank you again Andy for a great meal and experience......
This was a good burger place. Me and my kid would always go here if everything is close and it's pretty good for a place that opens till midnight. Also their shakes and fries were fire. Definitely on my list for night food
Today we had the Bbq Bacon Burger and Deluxe Chick’n sandwhich and the plant style fries!! I was just a Five Guy yesterday and this burger here was 10 times better! 🤤🤤🤤 Shoutout to Laura and Lisa for helping make my first order because ive never been here before.!
Love going to Plantees! The food is always delicious and freshly made. It's all plant based and yummy. This is my go to when I'm craving a burger and fries and want to try and be a little healthier. The sauces are a must have as they are all amazing although overpriced in my opinion. I usually self order on the tablet when you enter and parking can be tough to find but there's street parking nearby. The service was kind and quick and it was a chill ambiance. There are two bathrooms located outside and the restaurant is pretty clean! Gotta try it!
One of the best vegan restaurants I have ever had. It is like an "in and out" but vegan. The cashier in the front was super sweet and had great recommendations. I ordered the fries, a double patty burger, and chicken tenders. Everything was super flavorful. The portions were decent. The prices were fair for what was served. The packaging for everything was very cute and the wait time was not too long. The wait was less than 10 minutes. The chicken tenders were very crispy and the burger was juicy. The sauces that were paired with each were also very flavorful. The only thing I wish was that there was indoor seating or more seating. It was raining the day I went and most of the tables that were outside were wet.
For my very first time trying vegan food, my experience was very wonderful. The Food was so delicious and flavorful! The burger was so delicious I had to go back in to order another one! The restaurant was very clean & the staff were very friendly and even asked questions concerning my order to make sure it came out correctly.. They even gave my toddler a free oat milk ice cream which was very smooth and yummy & easy on the tummy. I’d definitely would eat here again 10/10 experience.
The vegan food was great. Staff were nice. My only dislike was how the tip on the receipt was more than the percent I selected. We chose 12.5% since it was take out, but we were charged 15% tip.
Adorable spot. Kristian was so welcoming and sweet. Have great advice on what to pick. Let us use restroom. Food is DELICIOUS!! all vegan! Lovely spot to chill and eat. Great experience!
Went to Plantees for the first time today & it was amazing. Took my mom there who doesn’t eat strictly vegan, but she said that the burger was the best she’s ever had in her life. We were both so impressed with the flavor & the portion is perfect. We also got the fries & tater tots which were also fantastic. Plus they give you a generous portion. The agave mustard & BBQ ranch sauces were fantastic. To top it off, I got a Vanilla Oreo milkshake & it was so well made with oreo mixed in throughout…not just sprinkled on the top. Compliments to Caleb for the great service & explaining all the options…as well as to Gabby for making such fantastic meals. Both were so friendly & we will definitely be going back even though it’s about a 45 minute drive…it’s worth it.
Absolutely delicious. It's so rare to see decent vegan burgers let alone a whole restaurant dedicated to them! We ordered the signature double burger and BBQ bacon double burger, as well as the spicy chickn tenders. Everything was so tasty, we'd happily eat here again.
Fantastic vegan food! We got the buffalo and regular chick'n sandwhich and it was delicious. There was a small error with my food but they remade it really quickly and were super nice about it. If you're in the mood for a vegetarian chicken sandwhich, this is the place!

Me and my mom walked in and the place was very nice it wasn’t booming guess we came in at their slow peck at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. When you come in they have electric pads where you place your order and pay electronically. I ordered the barbecue bacon cheeseburger with a Oreo milkshake with fresh strawberries. My mom ordered the signature burger and a chocolate milkshake and shared a side of plant style fries. The burgers were 10/10 🏆the milkshake was 8.5/10 they are really good but super thick you’ll mess around and get swollen cheeks trying to suck the shake through the straw. Even though my milkshake was perfect 10/10 I tasted everything the vanilla ice cream the Oreo and strawberry nicely balanced, but my mom’s milkshake can’t say the same on the consistency. Now the Plant Style Fries were very delicious but I realized that when I got the bottom of the box the fries that didn’t have any more cheese sauce and they other sauce on top were very salty my honest opinion if you going to have all that sauce on top of the fries don’t salt the fries because the sauce already got salt in it including other powerful flavors. Adding salt to the fries made it a little bit salty. Now if the fries had some seasoning on it without salt that complemented the toppings it would have been a (A+) but I give it a 8.5/10. I highly recommend this restaurant, this me and my mom favorite spot now. 100% Vegan/ Plant Based I Loved it. Also you got to try the BBQ Ranch sauce🤤😍🏆🔥 The Employees were very sweet and nice, the lady messed up my milkshake she forgot the strawberry but insisted on remaking it to be honest the shake was so good I didn’t care the strawberries weren’t there but because it was my favorite experience at this restaurant I allowed her to remake it and I’m so happy that I did because it just made it 10x better.
Hipster vibe with exclusively outdoor seating. Introverts will love this place as you order through an app, and pick up from a wall as if you are doing ubereats gig work. This is a Vegan McDonald's with Krystals style flat burgers. Food is exactly what you would want from your favorite drive through minus the cruelty. The burgers are small but delicious. Perfect "greasy" without being gasey ratio! You can tell the ingredients are good quality: crisp lettuce, perfectly red tomatoes, crunchy pickle..loaded shoe string fries have a like big mac sauce that is great! Skip the $10 single and get the $14 double or you'll want more. IMPORTANT: SKIP THE MILKSHAKE---Weird after taste in the vinalla oreo shake, as tempting as it sounds save the $7 and order more fries. Open late on weekends!
As a non vegan I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the vegan burger and fries. However, the burger is very small and the prices are inflated. A burger, loaded fries, and a milkshake is almost $30. My vegan girlfriend on the other hand was in heaven with how flavorful everything was. With her being from California she stated that the loaded fries tasted almost identical to the animal style fries from In-N-Out. The atmosphere was very unique with it being only outdoor seating. It does have limited parking space but the theme of the restaurant is very relaxing.

This was another great find via the Happy Cow app. Love how many plant based restaurants are in the Orlando area now! The burger and fries were both great! I got my burger with a lettuce wrap to make it gluten free. While it was good, it could have used a bit more burger and less lettuce to really set this one apart. The fries were good and the house made vegan Ranch and Green Goddess sauces were both fantastic. We also loved that the water they serve is in a recycled box, which creates a #betterplanet. Freaking love that too! All of the seating was outside, yet covered. Since it's fairly chilly still right now, that wasn't ideal, but great for pet owners.
It was better couple months ago, this place is vegan, but their burger and fries were better before. The burger was juicer and thicker before and this time I went at night, it was cooked kind of like a smash burger at shake shack. I think they are trying to make the burger like shake shack, but when you make it with vegan protein it just seem too dry to make it a smash burger style. The plant style fries could use more sauce and the fries could be fresher, it is too dry and plain without sauce or lack of onion when you get through the first layer. There were basically no sitting area in the inside of the restaurant, only the outside have some bench and tables. The time we went there they didn’t turn on the space heater outside when it was in ~60F. The location was also next to a bar and you get the cigarette smell from their patio area. There are also limited parking area with a detached bathroom next to the parking lot. However the packaging of their items looks cute and well thought of , but food wise it honestly wasn’t as good as a couple month ago.
i came to plantees late at night as it was the only vegan food in the area that was open late at the time. i had heard of plantees before, but never eaten there because i was not a fan of the prices and it was also not convenient for me. i ordered two (single patty) burgers, plant fries, side nuggets, and 2 milkshakes. they were all delicious, and me and my friend did enjoy the meal. the milkshakes were a bit heavy but the burgers were good and so were the fries! i liked the nuggets but they were not anything too special. my two biggest complaints are related to price and portion size. although i ordered a lot of food, i would usually expect the bill to be a lot less than it was given that the burgers about palm size and the fries came in a fairly small box. additionally, every topping and extra bit seemed to cost even more money. i could see high prices for a premium quality item, but plantees technically just fast food. while it was tasty, i don't really think that the prices are worth it for fast food quality items. so overall, i'd say the taste was good, but the portions and prices would probably motivate me to find somewhere else to eat.
It's important to set expectations. We ordered 2 mushroom sandwiches, for a total of $30 including tips. It's basically a mix of fried mushrooms and onions in a patty shape, a bun, and a white sauce (maybe mayo?). That's it. No greens, no tomatoes, no onions, no mustard, no pickles, no fries. I expected something more for $15.
Great amazing plant food but expensive. Burgers but no deals Single burger with fries and drink will cost 20$ (definitely excessive) for vegetarian. Taste is good though. However felt a little chewy. Sitting is all outside

2023 Update: I got to say...I've been back a 3rd and 4th time from my first review and both times the food was okay. If it would have been made like this my first 2 visits I wouldn't have raved about them the same. I waited to do an update in case they were just having an off day, but it seems as though they are very inconsistent. The food is missing the love. I'll be the combo option if I return, glad they got pricing handled a bit better. Still good eats, just way more thrown together than my couple times. I’m a newbie Vegan who genuinely enjoyed the burger and milkshake from here. I’m already looking forward to returning to try a couple more menu options! Simply satisfying
The vegan equivalent of Shake Shack. A lot of their style, decor, and food presentation is quite similar to shake shack if you’ve ever been a customer. Staff was friendly, and provided recommendations off the menu as it was our first time. However, what led to my overall rating was the price of everything.. I found it a bit expensive when all I ordered was a double cheese burger, and their plant fries. I was surprised to see my total at $23.. surely other places (on average) a meal of this size costs significantly less. Would I recommend Plantee’s for a first time visit ? Absolutely. But I can’t see Plantee’s being a first option for me in the near future. The burgers were fresh as well as the fries, it was delicious and filling. But I sure do hope pricing goes down a bit! It’s not worth it in my humble opinion. Oh! And a little tip - chose out your meal that includes a dipping sauce because they do charge for sauce thankfully they gave us one for free as I didn’t realize it was extra.
It was an okay attempt at creating a standard fast food, burger and fries experience. The double burger lacked anything special about it. An impossible Burger on its own does not do very well unless it's surrounded by delicious flavorful sauces and toppings. The chocolate milkshake with strawberry was quite good for a vegan milkshake, a little bit too thick to make it easy to drink and enjoy, but the flavor once it reached your mouth was enjoyable. The plant style fries were plain but cheesy which made them delicious. Slightly overpriced for no "meat" included but might come back again for those.
Food is excellent and consistently cooked well, but they took away meatless Mondays which was easily the best deal they had and replaced their excellent potatoe tots with vastly inferior fries so I gotta say it feels like it's getting worse. Food isn't really worth it anymore compared to how much value you used to get.
This is a 100% plant-based and vegan fast food style restaurant that I couldn't wait to try, but overall, I was disappointed. There is no dine in. Everything is to go. There are benches outside you can eat at, but extremely limited seating. Parking wasn't easy when I first got there. Handicap parking available. Benches and front doors are not set up for easy wheelchair accessibility. Bathrooms available. Accomadating to allergies and there is an entire menu easily labeling what is and isn't safe for the main allergens. including gluten. I was impressed by this! I ordered: Cookies and Creams shake, Plantees original single burger, Arnold Palmer, and fries. The shake and the Arnold Palmer get five stars, so good! The fries were not good. The burger was good, but not great, and for the price you pay for the burger, fries should be included. What really hindered my experience, though, was witnessing a customer interaction that an employee handled extremely poorly. Let me start by saying this, the young woman at the register was knowledgeable in the menu and super friendly. She is what customer service there should be. Kudos to her! When I was ordering, there was a male customer with a baby in a stroller who was talking on his phone and waiting for his order. I then headed outside to wait for my order. As I was waiting, the gentleman with the stroller came out with his order and was already walking down the sidewalk when a male employee from inside came running out after the guy screaming at him and asking "What is your name?" The customer was still on the phone and quite confused as the employee continued to yell at the guy that he took someone else's order ahead of his. The employee also jerked the bag out of the customer's hands. The employee acted like he was going to take the order back inside, but the customer said something I didn't hear, and the employee shoved the bag back at the customer. The employee then stomped by me complaining the whole time and slammed open the front door to go back inside. Now, I wasn't inside to speak for the situation that occurred prior, but it seemed to me that the guy on the phone just wasn't paying attention and made a mistake. Whether it was a mistake or not, the aggressive behavior of the employee for something so small as a burger and to do that in front of other customers was completely uncalled for. This left a bad taste in my mouth for this place, especially as a first impression. Honestly, I won't be back.
I got the burger and fries. The burger wasn’t bad for a vegan burger, and the fries were outstanding. The seating was all outdoor. The service was quick and pleasant, very hands off. You order at a kiosk and then get a text when it’s ready.
I had high expectations, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I felt as though it was not worth the price for what was provided. The milkshake straws also should be wider; it was a struggle to drink (and enjoy because of it).
I’m super disappointed in Plantees. They apply 15% tip to the orders now. No choice. I’m all for tipping but I don’t tip at fast food places especially when I order the meal on a kiosk and pick the food up at the counter. They aren’t paid waitress wages. If they waited on me sure, happy to tip. Super disappointed in the direction of this company. Food is great but I can go elsewhere to get the same food same quality.
Just to add to what other reviewers have said. We love the food here, but we wil not be coming back while the forced 15% gratuity policy exists. Just increase prices and pay your employees better.

This was our first time eating at plantee, after seeing the reviews my husband and I were excited to eat some vegan/plant based burgers. Also saw they had GF options. When ordering on the tablet I made sure to ask prior if the burger patty was GF they said yes but not the chicken and to make sure to pick sub GF bun. I did all the actions mentioned and mentioned in the notes GF allergy. I know cross contamination happens but at least I could trust the bun and the patty were GF. My husband ordered a regular cheeseburger with mushrooms and caramelized onions. I also ordered fries with the plant sauce and lastly a strawberry shake. Now order is up. We don't know which burger is the GF no label, turns out the GF bun was placed on my husband's regular burger order. Apparently according to the ticket I didn't click GF bun. I ordered fries with plant sauce. No sauce turns out the sauce also has wheat no mention of it on the tablet when ordering. Keep in mind this is my first time here. My husband's burger had my GF bun, with missing mushrooms and onions. My burger had the regular bun. The front attendant tried making it right but this is a kitchen staff issue. They remade the burger but the GF bun was not thawed correctly and was cooked at High heat really fast since majority of the top bun was still frozen. Was charged a second time for the GF bun when it was their mistake the first time around. Then the attendant lets me know the plant sauce has wheat when bringing out the new GF burger, I'm like oh jeez, I ask what else can I get for dipping sauce? I understand that the world isn't being catered to me 100% acknowledge that, but an establishment that offers these options should be able to provide these items in a correct manner. Working in fast food myself I understand it can be hard, but several mistakes for one order really bummed the experience. Well good thing I'm not from the area right? I had high hopes, but met with disappointment.

I was here and ordered the plant tots. Was given the plant fries (not a big deal). We let them know and they told us to keep the fries while they remake the order. But after a few minutes came outside and ripped them right off my table mid bite and tossed them in the trash *picture attached*. He said the manager told him to throw them out, seemed a bit rude and intrusive to grab them off my table. Why did you tell me to keep them then?
We will not be going back to Plantees unless they make their ridiculous change on MANDATORY tip option. How are you going to charge a mandatory tip when we place the order online/walk up kiosk and no one is actually serving your food. The prices are already high, and then to ask for a SECOND tip at checkout when you added a mandatory tip is crazy. This is why vegan businesses are closing down. We'll stick to Winter Biscuit.
Watch your receipts closely they are now adding on automatic gratuity and then asking for an additional gratuity at the end. They have completely lost my business. They tried to tell me that gratuities are now mandatory meanwhile, it’s a serve yourself check out and take out
I’m leaving this review to share information about a recent policy change. According to an employee on Friday night, the restaurant now applies an automatic 15% gratuity to all orders. Gratuity is typically optional, so this mandatory charge may come as a surprise to some customers. If additional costs are necessary, it would be clearer to include them directly in menu pricing rather than adding a separate service charge at checkout. I’ve been a long-time customer, but this policy change affects my decision to return. It was also unclear why a 15% gratuity was applied to an order placed through a self-service kiosk. Other customers may want to be aware of this policy before ordering.
