We had a wonderful breakfast at this spot in Orlando! She has 2 other locations, But this coffee shop was very nice and the food was great! Would definitely visit this place again!

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s my favourite place for breakfast. There are very diverse options to choose from, the menu is very complete. You can tell their ingredients are well chosen and good quality. The place is nice and clean and the price is fair. I recommend the avocado toasts, they come with A LOT of avocado and a great quantity of scrambled eggs. The French toasts are really good, just a little bit dry in my opinion. There is little to no interaction with the staff as most of people order by scanning the codes in the table. The times I’ve ordered in the front the staff have been very nice!

Cute farmhouse decor in this charming coffee shop. The food is both beautiful and delicious. It did take quite a while for the food to arrive, but we arrived during the breakfast rush on a holiday weekend. Well worth the wait! I had the strawberry pancakes, so light and fluffy. Not too sweet and topped with marshmallow cream, strawberry sauce, and whip cream! So decadent. The iced latte was very good, had a hit of cocoa notes. Very good and smooth without being bitter. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great way to start the weekend.

This hidden gem we came across google maps while figuring out where to eat breakfast. I have to say that everything we ordered was exceptional! The atmosphere was great. The wait time was very minimal even as customers came in and out. The coffee has a unique in-house blend and by far one of the best qualities I’ve tasted. Looking forward to come back when in the area again.

Nice place to bring anyone special for breakfast or brunch but be ready to pick your own table, make your own order and pick it up when your name is called because there ain't servers. It's a little pricey but it's worth it because the representation of the plate is unique and the quantity is also good. Highly recommend!!

Neighborhood Breakfast Cafe. We met friends for breakfast for the first time at this coffee shop. (First time meeting up with the friends and first time meeting at this coffee shop.) It was great. It was extremely busy when we went. However, we still had a great time. It took a while to get our food, but time passed quickly as we were in conversations with the friends. Although the place was busy, we still had a great conversation with good food.

Food is great!. Now be mindful of the size of brebajes, coffee on particular . Set your expectations correctly when ordering and be sure you are ordering what you wanted 🤣. Ordering in your phone is great!!!, beats the line 100%. I really recommend that instead of the counter.

Beautifully decorated, with a calm environment that made me want to stay and hang out! Ordering made easy with options to use the app or the cashier, who was very nice. I'll come back when im back in this area!

This place is a discovery! It’s very Cousy and well decorated. The cashier is very nice and smart. She surprised me with a special dish and a drink! The drink is a coconut and cinnamon iced latte that I’ll never forget. It was amazing! You must try this place if you’re in Orlando.

I recently visited Vanessa’s Coffee Shop in Orlando, Florida, and I can’t say enough good things about this charming spot! From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and warm, inviting decor made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming vibe that’s perfect for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. The coffee is hands-down some of the best I’ve had in Central Florida—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I tried the Mocha Nutella-Oreo Latte, and it was an absolute treat, perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The menu offers a fantastic variety, from savory omelets to indulgent Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and served promptly. The Sunrise Tacos were a standout, bursting with flavor and picture-perfect for my Instagram feed! The Christian-themed decor added a unique and comforting touch, and the place was spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated. I also loved the innovative self-ordering kiosks at the Lake Nona location—such a fun and modern way to customize your order. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in with friends for a leisurely meal, Vanessa’s is a gem worth visiting. I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

Fun phone booth greets you as you enter Vanessa’s. Modern look and fantastic staff prepare the best breakfast pastries and coffee. Laid back atmosphere and while I was visiting the area, it seems to be a pretty trendy spot for coffee and breakfast.

This coffee shop pleasantly surprised me. Much bigger on the inside than expected and nice rustic decor. The food was unique and delicious (I got the steak brunch, as pictured) and the portions were great. The only reasons that I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices seemed a bit high for the casual coffee shop vibes ($40 for a breakfast for 2 with 2 meals and 2 lattes), the table chairs are metal and not super comfortable, and they don't serve their meals with silverware or coffee mugs (just plastic utensils and to-go coffee cups). Overall, it was a great experience and my wife and I will be adding it to our rotation of breakfast diners. UPDATE: Changing this review from 4 stars to 5 stars after discovering that they have a 25% military discount. This makes the price much more affordable and makes me respect this establishment much more. Highly recommend.

I loved this place, a friend of mind introduced it to me and wowwww clean, peaceful, delicious food, delicious coffee ☕️ I do recommend it!! I love their quote on the wall. Employees were helpful since it was my first time here, they guide me through the process on how to order and so on.

ART! The presentation was phenomenal. The food was hot, seasoned, and filling. The ambiance was so peaceful. We are so blessed to have such an inviting and affordable place not far from home! My new weekly “kitchen getaway.” I can’t wait to share this experience with visiting family and friends for years to come! ❤️

So good!!! Their coffee is delicious, the food is super fresh and delicious! It sometimes takes a little while though for the kitchen to make food, so I would not plan on this being a quick take-out, but moreso a nice relaxed breakfast/brunch spot ☺️

We had a fantastic experience at Vanessa’s Coffee Shop! The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came out quickly and fresh. We celebrated my dad’s birthday here with our family over breakfast, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you for making our morning so special—highly recommend!

Vanessa’s has been a great location for a cozy sit down breakfast / brunch. Locally owned and operated and very cute. I tend to go for the breakfast croissant sandwiches and other simple items. Coffee is always delicious and they serve fresh squeezed Florida orange juice. Seating is first come, first serve and the location is not HUGE. There are struggles to find seating during busy hours but this is to be expected anywhere without reservation seating. The prices can be high, but are actually very good for Lake Nona area. It is a small team behind the scenes, so expect a wait while busy. A smile goes a long way, and the service will reflect the attitude you put forward. I appreciate the owners for continuing to provide an experience of love and kindness.

Went there today for a Book Club meet up with my girls. Food and coffee was delicious, such a cozy atmosphere. Adriana the cashier/server was absolutely phenomenal!!! She checked in with us, answered all our questions and was so welcoming from the moment we walked in. I would go back just for the customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of after a small issue with one of our food orders. Thank you again Adriana, keep being amazing!

Delicious EVERY TIME! I am very picky over my coffee and Vanessa’s never disappoints. They have the most delicious lattes with a lot of customizations which is helpful as a non-dairy drinker. The food is always above and beyond as well! It’s just such a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere!

Looking for an interview place, working place, or just for an hangout place? I think Vanessa’s Coffee is one of the most convenient and spacious places to get more things done than just coffee. I loved the way staff catered to my needs in addition to the taste of everything I got here.

Met long time friend Kevin from Campus Crusade and Athletes in Action ministries for breakfast. We needed a comfortable roomy place that was easy to meet at and to talk for a couple hours (it had been years). But the surprise was the incredible southwestern omelette breakfast and Strawberry covered pancakes and their ENORMOUS portions. How does a "coffee shop" have such great food???? They also attract great employees and customers and even have Bible verses inscribed on the wall. Can't wait to have another meeting there. Don't forget our food tips bit I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything they have.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to be so thoroughly satisfied as I approached the entrance. The amazingness is in the inside because from the outside it looks pretty ordinary. Once inside though…wow, just wow. The decor is so on point and original. The food and the food presentation are also so on point. The place was clean and filled with people. Well from here, I’ll just let the photos do the talking

It was super pretty! The workers were kind, it wasn’t busy when I went, the atmosphere was nice. They have charging stations, board games, and couches to sit on. I’m not that crazy about coffee but the one I got was good. It was clean it smelled nice.

Great location. Good taste and plate presentation. What they need to improve is in the taking orders and pick up orders. Away from that I will come back again soon.

First time here. The food was great. The ambiance excellent and loved the decorations. It is not a fast food location so you will have to wait for your food to be prepared but will not he disappointed. I recommend this location to try, the food presentation is on point and the coffee one of the best I have tried. Thanks for a great experience.

Vanessa's Coffee Shop has been on my list for months. We finally made it. It is cute place. Aesthetic you would say, that serve great food and delicious coffee. We ordered Sunrise Tacos, 3 tacos with your choice of meat, scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, queso fresco, mayo-cilantro, avocado & sour cream. Also the Happy Morning, an omelette with your choice of meat and cheese, with a sunny side egg on top (love the double egg situation) served with a slice of french toast, topped with whipped cream, fruits powered sugar and small jar of nutella. For drinks, hot mocha latte and an iced latte. Everything was delicious. The service on point. The price was a little higher than I expected but for this, it was worth it.

This cute location is really for all my coffee shop lovers. It's a very nice restaurant and they have nice section of you want sit and drink coffee and get some work done. As soon as we walked in we were greeted at the door with instructions since it was our first time. Heard about this place from my brother in law. You can sit anywhere and you place and pay for your order through their website which you scan the QR code from the table. Very simple and seem less process. They will call you when your drink and food is ready to pick up from the front. They were quick and it's not super busy. I would definitely go back!

Update: came in for an Office Day, it was still such a nice environment. Camden was very sweet and helpful with menu options. This is again, highly recommended for some down time, to catch up with a friend, enjoy a break or get work done ! Clean, a vibe, calm setting & the iced coffee was really good ! Definitely a new little coffee spot I’ll be returning to! Great to bring your laptop and nerd out or catch up with a friend. Love the setting !!!

I decided to review the place after several times of coming here. Because of the other reviews I’ve read. The food is great and the coffee is hands down one of the best. I have not had a bad experience or a wrong order yet but if I do I’m sure it was a mistake not meant to be wrong. I recommend you this place if you have some time to enjoy with your family, friends or co-workers and have time to seat down and eat. It is not a fast food restaurant so keep in mind it will take 10-20 minutes (depending on the line) for your food. I am realistic person so if you are too you know you are not eating at a fast food chain paste. Prices are not the best but remember, for the quality of the food and presentation it makes up for it. Will recommend you to go try it and have an opinion of your own. Great place overall.

2024 Update 😊❤️ my husband took me on a little date for a late brunch today. We were warmly greeted by Camden when we entered. We sat down and placed our order on our phones using the QR Code on our table. We tried the White Chocolate Strawberry Latte and the Lavender Latte, they were delicious! My husband liked his omelette and bacon and my cream cheese French toast was fabulous! We really like the cozy atmosphere, too. My only suggestion for Vanessa’s would be in the area of customer service/relations. The store was not that busy, there were about 4-5 people behind the counter, but we were called up to get our own food and we bussed our own table. We spent about $50, I would have expected our food to have been brought to our table. If I had only ordered coffee, I can see going up to get it. The highlight was Camden, he’s the one that greeted us, he came around to the table while sweeping up and asked if we needed anything, and when we left he saw we were taking a selfie outside and he came out and offered to take our picture! ❤️

Love this place. The coffee, the service, the atmosphere...all great. It is my new "go-to" coffee shop when in the area. Also love the positivity portrayed through their choice of music and the owner's personal testimony displayed on the wall. I haven't had a chance to try any food on the menu but what i've observed coming out of the kitchen looks really good.

The Eat Girl By Anaviana

This place surprised me because of the bad rating it has (4/5) I thought it would not go well and on the contrary, so I came to leave 5 stars because the food was excellent. I am dedicated to finding good places to eat and it is hard to find good breakfasts, with good atmosphere and at a good price. we ordered coffee, orange juice, a sandwich, pancakes, an omelet and a bottle of water and paid $ 50 because the best part is that you take care of yourself so you do not have to pay service which is now almost mandatory. everything was excellent, the portions are super large, with what we ordered for 2 could easily eat 3 people. the only thing I could criticize is the coldness of the place, otherwise excellent. I didn't take better pictures because I was hungry. haha

Wanted to support a local business and am happy that I did :) Great ambiance with all the cute coffee shop details. Christian owned and vibes. I love that they have 3 different sizes of cappuccino so I can choose my amount of milk and they all have 2 shots of espresso! They also serve the coffee in a REAL mug if you’re staying in… Parking was a little tough but worth it and I really wish they had gluten free baked items like a muffin… but they do not. Still 5 stars and wonderful employees greeting

My sister has been talking about this coffee shop since forever. Finally we had brunch day & she blessed us by bringing us to this christian coffee shop. Amazing atmosphere, Jesus centered, staff and customer service. Their food and coquito coffee ☕ has me dreaming still. It's a 10/10 ✅ even their bottles and coffee holders have the verse John 3:16

This is a wonderful jem here in Lake nona just off narcoosee. What a wonderful place, very spiritual and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious. We were invited to meet up with new friends here and loved the coffee and concept of this shop. My husband asked me to order a cafe mocha for him at the kiosk so I got him a chocolate coconut latte and he said he really liked it. It was crafted well and I sipped it when it got to the bottom of the cup where it was rich and super dark chocolate-y. I had tea just because I’d just had coffee elsewhere and the tea was very good too. Super hot, like English-boiling-mad-electric-kettle hot. They had Chamomile, Earl Grey and other fine teas in silken tea bags. You order at a kiosk and bus your table like at Panera but the food is better. The young man behind the counter today was especially helpful and ready to answer questions. They were advertising their Mallorcas, back by popular demand (see photo). Will have to get a full breakfast next time, and their pastries. They have another location in South Saint Cloud closer to our current home. Our new friends and we had a great, unrushed time and the jazzy instrumental Christmas holiday music added to the light mood.

Amazing! We went for the first time last weekend and loved everything! The decor is warm, the staff is great, the coffee is awesome, the birthday pancakes were out of this world - and the bacon was heavenly!!!!! My latte was chocolate-coconut with Nutella on the rim!! What?!? I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The beef empanadas are extremely delicious! I’ve tried the chicken and they’re OK but nothing compared to the beef. I will say they can be not as consistent, Some days are good. Some days are bad, but I would say the majority of the time they’re always very yummy. Coffee is strong and delicious! I’m only giving the service four stars because they don’t seem very friendly, but they are always extremely busy so I understand they’re probably under some stress

I love this café for its atmosphere, and the presentation of the dishes is great. In my opinion, it’s a little overpriced, but the food is good. The only downside is that I don’t take sugar in my coffee, and the sugar-free syrups don’t mix well with it. I think they should improve either the syrup or the way it’s prepared. The regular coffee looks really good, but I haven’t tried it yet. I love this place anyways.

I love exploring different coffee spots, and Vanessa Coffee has quickly become a favorite! One of the best highlights here is the atmosphere—it’s so warm and welcoming. While it can get busy at times, weekday mornings are perfectly chill and relaxing. The sofas are such a great touch, super comfy and make me feel right at home. Definitely a spot I enjoy coming back to.

Service needs to be improved. Only one touch screen used by every guest OR go use the QR code on a table. NO assistance with ordering. And their business website won’t allow you to explore it…unless you give them YOUR EMAIL. You can’t see the menu or ABOUT section or anything. This tells you how valuable your email is to this business. Not your happiness or excitement to explore a new business but so they can sell your information. Food was yummy and my earl grey tea was hot. Place was lovely (but no one was washing tables after guests self disposed of plates/trash like Paneras). But one on one CS? They seriously need to put the paying guests as their priority. Self Service grocery stores are getting beat up about this same thing. Do your job. I don’t work here!

D
David Ballentine

Coffee and food were pretty good! I was thrown off by the religious atmosphere though - the place is covered in bible verses and the music was acoustic hymns. As a non-religious member of the LGBT community I wasn’t sure I was welcome. Some may love it, but it’s not really for me.

W

The interior is decorated very beautifully and I will be revisiting for breakfast one day! There's a good amount of quotes from the Bible on the walls and various Christian references. The service was quick and they have the computers to self order like at wawa (which I didn't use). Latte was a little too milky but still good, latte art was on par as well. The way the shop is set up makes the entrance very clustered and it's hard for people to walk by if there's a line of 3 or more people waiting to order. The unnecessarily long table at the front is proving to be a challenge for people picking up their food/drink and general mobility for customers.

Super beautiful coffee shop! I loved the entire ambience. They had a lot of coffee and dessert options. I got a sandwich, milk tea and a red velvet cake. The red velvet cake was almost like a cheesecake. It was so delicious. They also have a very cute phone booth outside that is perfect for pictures. Instagram worthy establishment.

Cute coffee shop! Warmly greeted when I entered and it being my first time , I looked over the menu to see what I’d like to order. The woman at the front was so polite and patient, gave me her recommendation and I went with it. I ordered an omelette with ham and breakfast potatoes plus wheat bread. I was surprised the ham was mini cube pieces, it was interesting . The breakfast potatoes and wheat bread were tasty in addition to my strawberry smoothie.

I came here for Sunday brunch with a large group of friends. I had an overall good experience, although because the restaurant was crowded, it was really chaotic and the lines were really long. I kind of wish that they took Covid precautions more seriously and that there was some occupancy limit since many people weren't wearing masks at all. The food and the service were really good. Me and my sister got the guava cream cheese French toast and it was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it! We also split a Turkey panini and it was simple, but a solid and cheap option. Out of their desserts, we tried the mousse and liked it a lot, and their lattes were also delicious. Overall a good choice for weekend brunch but be aware of crowds!

V
Vivian soto

I really like this place because the coffee and food are really good and good quality, nice environment, but service isn’t always to good, they should trains better there young personnel and give them more customer service and management knowledge, plus is an ongoing thing that they run out of coffee mugs so you have to accept the to go cup cause they said that they are all dirty then they have to wait for people to finish their drinks, but when you check around you clearly can tell that isn’t true at all. Once I ask for a pistachio coffee (which originally comes with whip cream and pistachio crumbles) so I asked for no whip but keeping the crumbs and they said they can’t do it like that, I mean really? so if I want the little pistachio crumbles I have to get also the whip cream? It just make no sense to me since those two ingredients doesn’t come together. Things like that are really affecting that business, quite of few associates with very bad attitudes the tone and they that they have isn’t just any professional.

Vanessa's Coffee Shop provides a pleasant experience with a great pastrami sandwich and satisfactory coffee. The atmosphere is nice, but finding available seating can be a challenge. If you're looking for a quiet spot with good sandwiches and coffee, consider Vanessa's Coffee Shop, but be aware that securing seating might be a bit challenging.

A
Andresa Maia

Food and coffee are excellent here! But … unless you come early in the morning, this place gets loud. Looks nice inside but there were zero acoustic considerations in the interior design of this place. Once it starts getting busy it’s like a school cafeteria with the chatter. To top it off they call out peoples names on a microphone when order is ready. As much as I enjoy the coffee and food, I avoid coming here because of noise levels.

J
Judith Abbey

This family owned coffee shop is amazing. You order at the counter and basically sit anywhere comfortable and when your food’s ready you’ll be buzzed. It’s clean and the wall paintings/designs are nicely done. I tried the avocado brunch the first time and gosh it looks amazing! I was just a tad bit disappointed cause I was really expecting my taste buds to utterly amazed but I didn’t really get a whole lot of flavors coming through. I got the latte as well, I’m not a coffee drinker but it was nicely done and the latte art was so cool and nice! I went back again and tried the waffles supreme which looked amazing too but I didn’t totally enjoy it. I’m gonna try another item. This place is worth the try tho, and a great hangout place for friends or just to get some reading or work done. Check them out, they have a cute phone booth laden with flowers at the entrance which is just so adorable

One of my local fav spots to eat. The environment is friendly for families and students and super cute for pictures! The wait tends to be a little long sometimes but I think its due to a shortage in staff. Nevertheless, the staff is always nice and the food is good. The pictures I posted show the steak mash with an waffle i on the bottom AND on the side (YUM!) The pumpkin spice frozen drink was 10/10!!

It a nice place to have a brunch, coffee or breakfast date. Good quality and coffee it is nice flavor and bold. The only suggestion would be to add more restrooms. A place with a 102 capacity it is not great to have just one restroom. Sometimes you have a line of 3 to 4 people standing by the kitchen waiting for the only bathroom available.

Our friends invited us here for a nice breakfast outing. First impression wasn’t great, we had to wait in line for a while before anyone acknowledged us. The cashier seemed busy chatting with another employee and handling orders. That said, once she took our order, she was really friendly and took the time to explain the menu. The biggest downside was how long the food took to come out, especially since we had kids with us who were getting pretty restless. We understand weekends can be busy, but it felt like the wait was longer than it should’ve been. As for the food: the coffee was good, the kids really liked the muffins, the breakfast taco was excellent, and the french toasts were a bit soggy but still okay. The place itself is nicely decorated with plenty of seating, and parking is no issue. One thing that bothered us was being charged an 8.5% service fee and a 3.5% surcharge with no clear explanation. It would be helpful if those fees were explained upfront or posted somewhere for customers to see. Overall, it was an okay experience. Prices are reasonable, and it’s worth a try, but some improvements in service and transparency would make a big difference.

Aww, second time here and definitely didn't match up to the experience like the first time. They ran out of a few items, but didn't let us know till after we ordered. Replaced food items with other items, replace turkey sausage with deli meat. Maybe it was just the day will give it another try

Coffee was awesome! Tripletta was poor. However the Mallorca was amazing!!!

Spent nearly $30 on takeout French toast and wasn’t even given a napkin fork or knife? Kinda strange not to include that, now I’ll be eating cold food by the time I get home.

Matcha is a no go. Don’t order unless you want a cup of plain sugar milk. Their iced latte, however, is really good so I would recommend that.

The food good and the places pretty. However, they don’t have waitresses. We have to order on a device and we have to pick up our own food. The main purpose of me coming to Vanessa’s Shop is because I saw God words on the wall and cups in the pictures online and the story of Vanessa’s life on the webpage. In the Bible it says “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. We can forget why we are here on this earth. Not to serve ourselves but for him. ❤️

During our visit, my friends and I interacted with the staff, and one particular employee named Sofia was rude. When my friend asked for syrup, as we couldn’t locate it, Sofia implied that we had to walk to the front to get it, even though she was holding it in her hand while heading that way. On a positive note, the food was good, and the presentation was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the setup could use some improvement. The line blocked customers from easily picking up their orders.

This review isn't for the coffee of food because we waited nearly 15 minutes, watching the chaotic process of this place, and decided to just leave. Sorry but please respect your customers' time. Might give this place another try and will update my review then.

Ordered a Dirty Chai Frozen Latte, which I thought was a pretty cool option that I don't see often. It was ok, nice flavor but not very strong and a bit heavy handed on the milk. A couple other notes, the wait time was a bit lengthy. Saw a review before going that it took 25 min for someone's coffee. Mine was 18 min. Also, if you're offended or made uncomfortable by openly religious businesses, this might not be the place for you as they have a lot of scripture and Christian based decor about. The food everyone was ordering looked delicious and had fantastic preparation as well. Might give them another shot and try a stronger coffee option and possibly some of those delicious looking pancakes.

I was in the area and wanted to give the ace a try. I have seen their drinks and french toast on IG and got curious. The shop is clean, nicely decorated, modern and gives you a welcome feeling once you step in. The staff is nice, friendly and happy to answer any questions. The shop gets busy, so keep that in mind. At this time, you need to scan the QR code to pull up the menu to see what they offer or take a look on their website before you come, because the displays do not show everything available. I ordered a latte with oatmilk (they do not carry skim, so this one is extra) and a side of french toast (comes with powdered sugar). I was looking forward to a good latte to stra my morning but it was a dissapointment. The coffee was not strong enough, the oatmilk seemed to be watered down and it was not hit enough. The latte art was there but that did not make up for the bad taste. The french toast was thick, had a good taste and you can pour syrup from the containers they have at the tables. Not a bad choice. I had high expectations but sadly, the shop did not match all the hype. Not sure if I will stop by if I am in the area next time.

Aesthetically this place is cute, it gives you everything from a coffee shop you want to sit down in and knock out some emails. The food and drink leave something to be desired. I ordered a cappuccino and decided to add a syrup. Ordered it with oat milk and received a latte with no foam. When I brought it up to the front and kindly asked if I could get a new one with more foam I was told "oh it's oat milk it does not foam" she was very sweet on the delivery. Now this is not my first cappuccino made with oat milk, and I make them at home and foam my milk. It foams fine, it does not last long but long enough for you to drink it before it dissipates. We also got the Blue Berry pancakes which were beautiful. Flavors on most things were good just not for the pricetag they came with. There are a lot of great coffee shops in Orlando this just isn't one I am coming to because it has good coffee. But seriously let's foam the oat milk 😂

The place was neat and clean. The omelets we ordered were very good. The chips left much to be desired; they were straight from a grocery store bag. Also, I'm not a big fan of cheap plastic forks and knives at a nice place. The setup is a bit weird. You would think there would be a wait staff the way it is, but there was not. The way you order and pick up your food is also a bit awkward. Not very efficient and not really obvious. They have to keep telling people where to go. The chairs left much to be desired cheap hard and small metal ones. They did have some nice couches to sit and drink coffee. Over just not my kind of place but sure others enjoy. Most likely will not be back.

Vanessa Coffee Shop is located in a small plaza off Narcoossee and Dowden in Lake Nona area. The shop is pretty much a self service. Very little customer interaction. They have two iPads for you to put in your order. This was terrible as the pads had a delay and the line was getting long. They gave us wrong item on one of our orders. At this point we had waited so long to get the pad going and our drinks were cold that we just left it as is. Parking is limited. I would recommend it to maybe the locals if the apartment complex behind them for convenience purposes. Other then that I wasn’t impressed.

It was first time visit with my friends. It's bigger what I thought. We visited about 11am .It's extremely busy and a lot of noise. The seat are very close each other. However it was Okey to chatting and eat. The food are fantastic and big amount of foods. It's a little too much for one person. I think they should make small amount dish and a little lass price. It enough to enjoy with more than one person. The teast was good beautiful and cute Cafe interior. I will visit soon with another members .

Fine service fine food, it is a cute cafe with comfy space to chill and do work. Went in for sweet breakfast food like french toast and pancakes at 3:45pm and they had told me the “oven was closed” so all i could order were sandwiches. They close at 5pm so it is odd that a kitchen would close an hour n a half before closing time. It is pricy - 2 mains + 2 drinks = $60 . Lowkey disappointed. I do recommend salmon brunch if you go.

Visually aesthetic but the flavor is mediocre. The whipped topping is very generic, thick, and tastes worse than cool whip. The guava cheese French toast would be great minus the mandarin wedges they add throughout on and under the thick generic whipped topping. It wasn’t listed on the menu and it ruins the flavor. This is the problem when you prioritize looks over flavor. Disappointing.

Love the concept and the place itself. The food though, Instagram-able and trendy it lacked any heart. I wish the food tasted as good as it looked, and the cashier seemed annoyed that I asked for the status on my espresso and latte that he even rolled his eyes at me as I was on my way out after dining in. The tripleta I ordered was more like a onepleta it had more arugula than anything I left this place hungry and unsatisfied.

Pretty place inside as well as the food, but not much substance. Ordered a Nutella hot chocolate, looked pretty but it was super watered down. I’ve honestly had way better hot chocolate at Wawa.. My bf got pancakes, but they looked undercooked on the outside, they were too thick and bland sadly. He also got an orange juice which he had to grab as it was minute maid orange juice bottle, but it had expired almost a month ago… yeah that’s a no from me. My Mallorca sandwich was okay, no sides included. Customer service is okay, not great but not bad either. Would not recommend or come again. You’re paying for the looks but not for actual great food.

For some reason this Vanessa Coffee Shop is nothing like the one in Saint Cloud. Saint Cloud one does there food and coffee better. I went to give it another chance and got stomach sick because I requested Almond Milk and they gave me regular milk. There chicken sandwich was bland and had way too much arugula. We oredered a side of fruits and they were mushy and ugly. The way you place your order is complicated. I wish they would be more like there first coffee shop they opened in Saint Cloud.

K

Very sub-par coffee. I got an iced latte with almond milk and half sweet vanilla. It was most definitely not half sweet, and I couldn’t even taste the espresso over the fake sugar taste. Not worth the $8.

The food and atmosphere are great. My past visits had been great service experiences, the reason of my 2 stars for this visit is the bad attitude from the lady delivering the food to the customers at the counter. I ordered 2 waffles meals for kids and I specifically ask for Nutella and Strawberries in them, when delivered the waffles where plain so I let the nice young lady that I ordered them with Nutella and Strawberries minutes later I guess the “lady in charge” tells me that the kid’s waffles don’t have Nutella and strawberries and that is an extra charge which I did not mind paying. Honest advice, don’t upset a hungry customer for a $3 up charge, there is no need for the back and forth explaining the why... just serve the food as requested and keep the customer happy, which most likely will return and refer your amazing place to others. This 2 star review should of been avoided. I love this place but I’m not sure if I ever come back to the Narcoossee location.

Really good if you’re into overpriced, mediocre food and okay customer service. This was my second time visiting, because the first time I wasn’t impressed and wanted to give them another chance. But this will definitely be the last time. The coffee was decent, so that’s a plus.

J
Jorge Mendez

The service was terrible, food was ok. Every single customer was getting plastic utensils. Not just your normal plastic utensils, these were the cheapest plastic utensils you can find. The knife could barely cut a french toast, the fork was as small as it could be. You are in Lake Nona, not in a food truck park (nothing against food trucks park) but you spend $55 for 2 breakfasts w coffee and getting the cheapest plastic utensils is not ok. I can't imagine a business owner saying "let's use the cheapest plastic utensils for the people who bring the money to our business" The store manager said they do plastic utensils for "hygiene" reasons which makes Vanessa's look worst as the rest of the restaurants in the area serve in regular utensils and there are no hygiene issues. If you are seating in your table and you want to stand up 3 times (one to get your coffee, one to get your breakfast and one to get your cup of water) go to this place, also if you enjoy a $25-$30 breakfast with plastic utensils visit Vanessa's.

I visited Vanessa Coffee Shop in Lake Nona on a Monday morning. It wasn’t busy, but the food took quite a while to come out. The French toast was delicious, but unfortunately, it was cold when it arrived. The coffee was just okay. Being from Puerto Rico, I was hoping the food would at least be warm. The flavors are great, but the service and timing could use some improvement

B
BillysFoodruns

Customer service was suspect. Lady in front of me they messed up on her order and they refused to fix it for her. They told her she had to pay in order to get a new sandwich. Omelette was horrible they use government cheese and the home fries was bad as well, very small portion, and was cold. The French toast was amazing and the prices are fairly reasonable. Probably won’t come back here again.

I visited Vanessa’s Coffee Shop today for lunch and ordered a salad with steak as the protein, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. For $18, I expected much better quality. The salad itself was very basic arugula, a small amount of pico de gallo, avocado, and a fried egg. The biggest issue was the steak. It had a clear frozen, low-quality taste and texture. When I asked the staff about it, they confirmed it was frozen steak and didn’t seem concerned at all about the quality or my feedback, which was disappointing. For the price, the quality did not match expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this dish, and based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

I have been coming here often for coffee, and I think they make great coffee. However, I won’t be coming back after today. I sat down to eat here and Ordered the Salmon Brunch, a platter of lettuce, avocado, and uncooked salmon that costs $18. Paying that much for something that requires no actual cooking, I assumed it would come with toast or something, but it did not. When I asked them if it was supposed to come with toast, they said no, but that I could order a side of toast for $4… $4 for a piece of toast? After I already overpaid for my entree? A loaf of bread costs $4. This is absolutely unacceptable and insulting to your customers. Do better.

Cozy Decor, Sub Par Food What we ordered: Rise & Shine, Avocado Toast, Vanessa’s Supreme, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Lake Nona Sunrise. The Good: The interior aesthetics are nice. The place checks all the typical boxes you would expect from a modern coffee shop. Map of sourced coffee - check. Inspirational quotes - check. Cozy couch area- check. All it’s really missing is a “Live, Laugh, Love” sign somewhere. The Not So Good: The Food. Everything we ordered missed it’s mark. The bacon looks like it’s purchased precooked and heated to order. Potatoes are not seasoned, mushy, and honestly a waste of space. Pancakes are only flavored on the outside, and once you get past that they are flavorless. The pecans on the pancakes were raw, toasting them would take some more time but add levels of flavor. Eggs were over cooked, omelet felt like it was a prepackaged omelet with bacon bits stuffed inside. The avocado toast was just guac on Untoasted bread so it fell apart when picked up. Overall: HARD PASS, honestly for the price of the food, you as the consumer should expect more. I’ve had better breakfast at bodegas. Look, it’s got it’s an identity it wants to achieve. I believe the food actively works against that end goal.

My friend and I came here expecting a nice brunch place. We got the black rasberry lavender tea and it was amazing! But the food was terrible. I ordered the avocado toast, the spread was actually guacamole from Publix. The bread was stale and it was just bad. Then I got the plain waffles which to my surprise came with a crazy amount of “homemade cream” AKA COOL WHIP. It also tastes like McDonald’s hot cakes. The presentation was good but the food was bad.

Used to be really good. Visiting again expecting same quality. Got coffee first and good but waiting 45 min for food! Unbelievable. Hard and dry panckakes. Cold French toasts. Totally disappointed. Never again. Sorry need to improve to be like before.

I went with two friends on a Sunday morning. Close to the shop there was no parking space but, since most of the mall stores were closed, there were spaces further away. During week days, most probably, it may not be easy to park. However, parking space is not relevant for the shop's evaluation. My complaint is that the service in this location is unacceptable. The prices are not cheap. Paying about $17 per person for coffee and another small item should imply much better service. First of all, I did not like that some items come in real plates and real mugs/glasses but other items come in plastic plates and plastic glasses. What makes the difference? All utensils were plastic too. The plastic stuff should be ditched. Among other things, I ordered a double espresso. Instead of placing it in a small real cup, it came inside a very small paper cup. The quantity looked like a single espresso. More importantly, the people who order espresso order it for the flavor and its strength. Whose idea was to place it in a paper cup??? So, I took it back and I asked for an espresso in an actual cup. I was told that they do not have one and they cannot do anything about it. So, I just returned it without asking money back. Any other shop would be embarrassed and would have sent someone to apologize. But no one came. They just accepted the coffee back and they did not care about it at all... Just normal business... Hence, if you care about quality food and quality service, this is not the place to spend your money.

Very disappointed. Ordered through Uber on Friday, one of the bagel had mold. Didn't even bother with the rest of the order. It was very noticeable and could've been caught. Reached out to the restaurant to see if we could handle it but manager wasn't available. We were told to wait until Monday. Today, Tuesday, an employee reached out and stated she was told that we should reach out to Uber. Unfortunately, it's out of Uber return policy. Manger never contacted us directly but the employee was very nice and was just the messager. Just accepting the lost at this point.

First and last time coming here. I’m beyond disappointed with the so-called “service” — which, by the way, they charge you for on your bill. There is no service. You order at the front counter, you pick up your own food, and you bus your own table. No one checks on you, no one brings anything. So what exactly is the service charge for — taking the order? I asked for a coffee with milk, and apparently that was a foreign concept to the cashier. I had to repeat myself several times, and then I was actually charged 25 cents for a splash of milk — yes, it even shows that on the receipt. I ordered a croissant and was charged for toast as well, which I’m guessing was an extra charge just to warm it up. At this point, these little add-ons feel ridiculous. It’s getting old in Lake Nona with all these pretentious, wannabe SoHo/LA coffee shops. The vibe and the nickel-and-diming definitely took away from the food — which was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Honestly, I’ve had a much better breakfast in Paris for far less, and without absurd extra charges for basic things. It’s a never-again for me.

  • Snacks saludables: Frutas frescas, barritas energéticas o frutos secos.
