What to say about WhirlyDome??? What an amazing combination of arcade games with an original goal based game played on hard-to-drive cars, oh, and one of the best, single floor, laser-tag experiences in town. The food could be better but being located in the center of I-Drive with some many tourist traps, I am glad I discovered that this is not one of them.

Fun place to go. Whirly ball is a bit difficult at first, but its a blast to play after a game or 2. The laser tag area is cool. I enjoyed the Thursday and Sunday specials. Its a great deal. They also had free water which is a plus after running arou d playing laser tag.

I love this place! We rent the courts for a couple hours every year for our holiday party as people can't get enough! The staff are friendly and fun (for the most part) and our man CJ the bartender is always on point.

25$ to play from 4-8? Deal. Laser tag too. Lots of fun, unless you're playing with a team of people who take it way too seriously. Bring 9 friends and you wont have to worry about that.

Our group comes here at least 20 times a year to watch Formula 1 races on their big screen. The owners from day 1 have been more than accommodating and the staff is always on point. I'm a big fan of the Cuban sandwich, and they also offer a solid beer selection. If you're even remotely erasing fan you've got to try the Evo Tek F1 simulator! Make sure to say hi to Sam behind the bar too! Great dude to chat with.

My first time here.. my husband and two sons come often and absolutely loved it. The bartender is absolutely fantastic! My husband and Sons go to WhirlyDome just a few times a year because we live in Tampa but that bartender remembers them and has their drinks ready as they're walking through the door

Lots of games to play. People are great employees and guest. When we arrived a lady gave is cards for the kids (free games. When we left we gave ours away as well. A nice tradition). The service was excellent.

Whirlyball was so much fun; our one hour party session was truly a great time had by all. I was skeptical before the party started, so I decided to play along to be a good sport. Once we started playing I completely forgot about all of that and really had a blast. When the buzzers went off, we all got intensely into the game. It was a great! I am looking forward to finding a reason to come back.

This place is seriously under-rated. Cool staff, Whirly Ball will be one of the most fun things you play. You can't explain it! You just need to try it! Good prices for the amount of time you get. And laser tag is a blast! They also have a full bar with a bartender that puts on great shows. If you're looking for a fun place to hang, look no further.

Went here for a work related outing, we all had a blast. The bar inside has a lot of variety, and is friendly for all ages. Definitely will go back now that I've experienced it. I also liked the amount of parking there is, since the area is very populated.

One of my favorite activities in Orlando. Next to the major attractions this is the most fun. $8 per game most days. Sundays and Thursdays are all you can play from 6-10, $25 for Whirleyball and laser tag. Great deal, and a great time! Don't know what Whireyball is? Don't worry, most people don't. Bumper cars, got it. Basketball/ lacrosse team game, good. Smash them together, Awesome!!! I've brought a bunch of different groups to play, who had never heard of it before, and loved it by the time we left. The staff is nice, they all seem to enjoy what they do, they're involved and facilitate the fun. Bartender/waiter is quite good, drink specials are a fun mix to the events. The food is also pretty good - wraps, burgers, nachos and more. The kitchen does take a while though. Overall, I could not recommend this place enough- wish I could go every week

Celebrated our son's 17th birthday here and had a blast. The time goes very quickly. Only thing I would suggest is, that for the cost they should give more time to play the games. Kind of expensive to only get a few minutes per game.

Setup a team event with elimination tournament. Everyone with mixed backgrounds and 50+ people all had something to do and left with smiles. Staff cordial and attentive. Food, everything was fried in our option but saw no complaints. Wide drink selection. Overall very pleased with venue for group building activity. Just be prepared it's challenging!

Went with a group of friends. It is an absolute blast when you are playing against your friends so would recommend playing 5 on 5 as such. They have a full bat and a very decent arcade. Great place to hang out if you and some friend are looking for a good time. Would recommend to locals and tourists.

WhirlyDome was a great time. We went for a birthday of 8 people (they recommend reservations for large parties) on a Thursday which had a $25 unlimited lazer tag and WhirlyBall. The referees were very nice, music was fun and high energy. There are two rinks, an arcade, and 1 lazy tag room. There is a bar downstairs that serves drinks and food, we were pleasntly surprised with the nachos! Overall great experience, i recommend larger parties but was. Great time. I say this because if some of the 'regulars' are on your team they dont share the ball very well as they seem to take WhirlyDome to be serious vs fun haha. Each rink can play 4v4 or 5v5.

Such a blast! A few of the regulars get a little too into it, but if you bring enough friends (10 people) you can play 5vs5 in one of the two inside “arenas.” There is alcohol for the older crowd as well as video games while you wait! Laser tag can get heated, literally! So dress comfortably and for activity!

Whirlyball is a bit confusing to play well, a combination of bumper cars and lacrosse with inverted driving controls. Sometimes the vehicles stall out (-1 star), but overall it's pretty fun and most disadvantages are neutralized by overall confusion. Laser tag arena is pretty good despite only bring one level - plenty of places to hide and take cover - much better than Andretti. For only $8 a game (both whirly and laser) can't complain. I enjoyed myself overall.

You'll have a great time. Kitschy to a fault. It's basically Chuck-E-Cheese for adults, down to the terrible beer and dated arcade games. Perfect for company team-building trips, student organizations, etc.

Whirlyball is a blast and feels well-maintained. Laser tag, though, feels a little tacked-on and the map is linear. Attending on a weekday meant limited staff to start laser tag. Drinks were high priced. Still, the main draw is Whirlyball and it is GREAT if you come with a group.

Very fun. Would definitely go back. Only negative would be the unenthusiastic staff. All of them just hanging around on their cell phones. There was one guy that seemed annoyed we were there (it's was early in the day, we we're the only ones in the place).

Rented the WhirlyBall court for private play and had an absolute blast! Only problems were they weren't ready for our group at the reserved time so we waited 30 minutes for them to prep -- and the bruises from us sacrificing our bodies in the name of fun.

The game itself is so fun. The employees were all friendly. My husband and I went there and had a great time. The food however is awful. Bartender raved about how everything is made in house. But to clarify home-made does not mean good quality. I will go back, but I will not eat there again.

Lots of fun! Totally worth getting wrist bands and spending a few hours. I went for a team building event with my coworkers. We had a great time. It wasn't very busy, so we didn't have to spend much time waiting in line (it was a week night). The laser tag was great. And, whirly ball was fun too, albeit challenging (I had never played before).

WhirlyDome lo pasamos genial. Fuimos a celebrar un cumpleaños de 8 personas (recomiendan reservar para grupos grandes) un jueves. Había laser tag ilimitado por $25 y WhirlyBall. Los árbitros fueron muy amables, la música estuvo divertida y llena de energía. Hay dos pistas de patinaje, una sala de juegos y una sala de lazy tag. Hay un bar abajo que sirve bebidas y comida; ¡nos sorprendieron gratamente los nachos! En general, fue una experiencia genial; recomiendo grupos grandes, pero lo fue. Lo pasamos genial. Digo esto porque si algunos de los habituales están en tu equipo, no se reparten bien el balón, ya que parecen tomar el WhirlyDome como algo serio en lugar de divertido, jaja. Cada pista puede jugar 4 contra 4 o 5 contra 5.

The game area is okay. Ordering food here would be okay if you are alone or with one or two other people but with a group it was a bit much. You all have to go to the bar to order and the bartender takes your order and goes across the room to the kitchen to bring your food out which was cold by the way for the majority of our group.

Laser tag one of the best and Whirley ball is so much fun. But the customer service. CRAP! First of all we had a group go. And being this is the twenty first century only a couple had cash on them so we thought we could split it with cards. NOPE. they can only split two cards. Again. 21st century. Keep up with the times. Not only that but the " REFEREE" was on their phones the whole time. The actual games fun. The service. Nope.

Come for the Whirly Ball or not at all! It was a blast, even with the place nearly empty due to a credit card issue they had that night. The employees were awesome and offered to fill in the extra slots for our game! Avoid the laser maze, as it is the size of a large closet. The arcade was pitifully small and contained few interesting games. We ended up leaving before trying laser tag.

Can't believe this place is still hanging on. Looks like a Best Buy inside - more workers than customers. Sure sign a place is dying - when it changes every month like it's trying to figure out what it's gonna be when it grows up and somehow catches a following. If you're looking for a happening place, look elsewhere.

The games are a good time, but the groups are only given one host and so we ended up doing most of the work ourselves. The restaurant/bar side was awful! The one person working was sitting at the bar on his phone like a guest and food took over 20 minutes for something that was most likely a frozen product.

Came in with a couple friends to play whirley ball. For a couple of us it was our first time and we had some trouble figuring out the game, and with 4 staff members playing, they made sure they played the whole time and used up our experience playing themselves. The ball was almost constantly being held by one of the staff members, all the goals were made by staff members, and the staff members were even rude enough to curse at a couple of us and make fun of us for having trouble figuring out the mechanics. This kind of thing should only exist as a bad joke about service and experiences.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I visited this place for the first time and was severely disappointed at the lack of customer service and tactfulness of the manager at this place. She lied to me as far as what was included in my purchase and when I asked about it she said she assumed I knew what I was buying (as a first time customer who doesn’t know this place) I then proceeded to ask for a refund for the insane amount she charged me or to let me exchange for something else because what we were given was NOT what she explained. She said she would not give a refund that if we weren’t happy than too bad. After spending $50 she stated she would only give us $10 in arcade games each and no refund in the $50 which aparéntelo was for other games we didn’t even partake in. She continuously gave us tremendous attitude and I was so irate at her lack of customer service I stepped outside and tried to find a corporate number to ask someone else and sure enough the same manager answered. I went back inside and she said that because I tried to complain now she won’t give us anything at all. I said that it made no sense because literally all I did was call and ask for a different manager. She refused to give me the mesely $10 credit and only gave one to my fiancée. A manager is suppose to fix problems for their customers, to ensure they have fun and give them a good experience for them to return not to refuse any service and take revenge on any one person for seeking justice. So she robbed us of $50 that we couldn’t use because at this point we were so upset and appalled we couldn’t even think to have fun in a place like this.

horrible staff. noone there to help and negative attitude. waited 10 minutes upstairs to play laser tag only to have a birthday party storm in and go in front of us. now i had to wait 45 minutes for them to finish. never coming back.

I have been going to Whirly Dome for over two years, which is why it is sad to have to leave this review. Management has let the entire building decay, along with the bumper cars themselves, to the point of having to stop games every hour or so in order to do maintenance on a car that has malfunctioned. The bathrooms are always out of order due to various leaks that go neglected for months at a time, and when they do work they are filled with clogged toilets or people smoking marijuana pens. The game itself, "Whirly Ball," is a fantastic concept and competitive for all ages. There are dedicated "regulars" who are guests that like to help promote the game and involve the ones who are new to the idea. Unfortunately any good that comes from the community of players is often overshadowed by the presence of the woman who runs the building and her lack of interest? in running a reputable family business. She carries a personality where you get the vibe she doesn't want anything to do with you outside of your money, and it portends a very sneaky/cheap business objective. She is aware of her buildings various leaks and safety risks, yet is content to risk the well-being of her guests, my guess is because it would cost her too much to do the right thing. If you go to Whirly Dome, do it for the experience of the game and the people who play it. There are other facilities across the United States with higher standards and ethical business practices, so if you find yourself a supporter, don't be shy to do your own research. My only suggestion is to not give this one too much of your money.
