I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. It was better than the reviews I had heard. We had the Mac n cheese, mild salt and pepper popcorn chicken and butter garlic wings. The Mac n cheese had 4 thumbs up from my step daughter. She loved the flaming dust on top. I loved the popcorn chicken but I will warn even the mild is a little hot but goes perfect with the spicy watermelon smoothie which in itself was addictive. Even though I'm not a fan of dark meat chicken I loved the popcorn chicken. The wings were good as well and fries were tasty. The regular watermelon smoothie was good as well. For both it was great to have chunks of watermelon in it. The captain crunch ice cream was good according to my stepdaughter but much too big. Only thing I would recommend is that they have kids size. It was a great experience and we didn't have to wait long for our food and we enjoyed our drinks while we waited. We will be back again and highly recommended it. Side note the carrots, celery and ranch came with the wings. We just moved them to another box before we took the pics.
I came here last night with family, and this was all of our first time here to try this place. I ordered the popcorn chicken combo (garlic & butter flavor I believe), with Cajun fries and the Ube milkshake. I was amazed how good the food was. The chicken was tender and full of flavor from each bite, and the milkshake was amazing as well! Although I got too full to finish the entire shake. Definitely worth coming back here again sometime soon.
Came in a slow night and didn’t wait too long. The food is pretty decent, great if you have late night cravings. The drinks are pretty good, toss up between this and Royal Tea for me. We got a split cup and ube shake. The ube was good and also looks amazing! I would definitely come back!!
We heard from friends about zero Degrees. We drove a long way to try it. It’s at the heart of Chinatown. The inside decorations are simple and nice. Lots of seating area. We tried the mangonada, pink lychee and ube. They are all excellent. I love the ube the best. Will return for sure
Was taken here by a friend for lunch. Their smoothies are out of this world. They are made from fresh fruit, sprinkled with spices, & topped with chunks of fruit. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered their spiced fries. The serving was huge & they were fantastic! The potatoes were cut thin & the spice mix was out of this world. I loved it.
First time! Good food and prices are not too bad. I think it is a good portion of food, definitely a lot of french fries with your meal. I upgraded to a shake, which was very filling and delicious!
Had three drinks so far, strawberry mojito with the mango twist add-on, coffee horchata and green tea with sea salt. All great drinks for anyone with a sweet tooth. Also heat and spice lovers rejoice! Popcorn chicken with the spicy honey bbq was surprisingly juicy with a kick of heat still lingering in my mouth.
Today was our third time coming this month! My husband really loves getting the cookies and cream sundae. I love that they have the option for a split cup, it's a great way to try out different drinks on the menu. My favorite so far has been the lychee crush with boba, it's very refreshing, and not too sweet. The matcha milk tea is another new favorite of mine. The Ube Milkshake is also another great option, and it's decorated very nicely! Basically, I have loved everything that I've had so far!! We can't wait to return!
This place is pretty dope. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. The drinks were great. I would definitely recommend this place. Its famous for the mangonadas. You should definitely try it!
Great unique drinks. Had the spicy watermelon and cucumber mint and both were amazing. Cant wait until they open one in South FL!
Great tea! did not like it with the boba though. Pretty quick service and they give punch cards for discounts on future visits. Overall great atmosphere and TEA!!!!
Wait time was terrible. Service was amazing and extremely helpful, even gave out free samples! The area is very tight and crowded. We also bought the popcorn chicken which was very good in comparison to other shops in the area.
Only drawback is that they use shoe shoestring fries which get soggy if you order any variation of the cheese fries on the menu. Other than that, awesome food and quick service.
The spicy fruit drinks are my favorite, in particular the watermelon and mango. The wings and salt and pepper popcorn chicken are also delicious. Sometimes we even go here after eating lunch somewhere else to just pick up a drink. So refreshing!
first time trying this place out. recommended by a friend. pulling up, i don’t like the plaza but for the shop itself parking is close and easy. what i ordered was BOMB. i got thai tea and the popcorn chicken with garlic butter and regular fries. i’ve had popcorn chicken that looks just like how these did and it was dry and tasteless. these however shocked me cuz of how juicy and flavorful it was. and the fries were thin, but they aren’t hollow, dry, and crunchy, which is good. the box at first looked small but the portion is actually pretty filling.
Great food, great service. If you can't handle spice, avoid the extra spice. Atmosphere is very relaxed and chill. Slushies are fantastic and the spice in some create a unique taste that is definitely worth trying.
This place is incredibly good. The staff was super friendly and the drinks were tasty. They used real fruit for their smoothies unlike other Boba places where they used powder. High recommended!
The food was great I mean delicious. We had shrimp with fries. They were large shrimp lots of fries I could have had more shrimp little less fries. Had a hard time choosing which drink they all sounded so go. I had watermelon that was spicy and sweet and delicious. I was being treated the other person had mango I'm telling you it was so good. I don't know where they get their fruit but I want to shop there. Its in a Asian strip mall so worth the trip worth finding and I will eat there again.
So good !!!!! Drinks and food certainly worth the hype. I ordered two drinks they were flavorful & and pleased my sweet tooth. The popcorn garlic chicken was the best. TIP - one meal is plenty of fries and plenty of chicken / I couldn’t finish it all. The service was awesome as well :)
The drinks are by far the best thing! We saw many people come in with their large families just for these one of a kind taste buds tinglers. I think the food is for those who want a quick bite to eat. However, we came after seeing the food options online and being near by. I think the sauce is home made and close in flavor to ranch. It went well with the fries and chicken. Wish I had room to eat the fruity pebbles shake. Will be back next time. Hopefully the a/c will be working by then.
I came here every time for my watermelon icy 😋without sugar. It's definitely the best for summer. They make really pretty drinks. They can make your social media shine. But the only problem is the waiting is long. Even when there are few customers inside. I hope they can keep the place nice and tidy. Also improve the service.
Randomly found this place while wondering around chinatown. Not bad, it was quick and had a decent menu. The staff was nice, the place was clean. Ordered the watermelon slush and wings. Bith were ok but nothing wow or unique about them. Still a good stop for a quick stop and snack.
The food was actually really good. Large portions. Perfect on flavor. The only reason. I’m not giving them 5 stars is because their customer service REALLY needs improvement! THe cashier had no idea how to operate it, the lines were long, the waiting was annoying!!!
we came here to try the drinks they had and it was good but not 5star good. the chicken wings were good too. the atmosphere here was good. everything looks amazing.
I came here for the first time with a group of friends. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The presentation of the food and drinks is appetizing. I have no complaints. Keep up the good work.
So I kept hearing about this "zero" place and finally figured out people meant here. It's a quaint small location. Inside is a magical combination of smells of fried food and sugar. Attended with expectations of spiraling Mangos and flowing boba. Found out that mango add on was seasonal... It's Florida and you can get them anywhere year round. #chinatown fail. Not everything can go in a split cup, so putting that into universe for people with food A.D.D like me. When you get past the idiosyncrasies of design, the beverage product is good. I prefer brewed tea and no sugar and honey boba. Doesn't happen here. So for the sweet tooth, this is place to come. I got Lychee crush and peach crush split. Couldn't come without trying the infamous ube shake as well. They murdered a purple teletubby into a cup, adorning the mixture with marshmallow cloud and sugary rainbows to celebrate it's death. I accepted this tribute, reflecting on Little ube purple cakes the sacrifice tastes like. I would perhaps embark on that culinary adventure again. As for the tea, chipped fruit and boba was good. Tea base tasted powdered. I think there's better boba places. Come here for a milkshake and hot Cheetos elote. I'm off the crash from my sugar high now embued with purple people eater teletubby super powers.
I enjoyed the bubble tea more than the food. I got the mac n cheese with shrimp. The mac n cheese was kinda on the bland side but the shrimp was well seasoned. It didn't bother me because I'm used to it, but the shell of the shrimp is left on it and then fried. For most people I know it will be a bother. They also fry the shrimp to the point where the skin kinda melts onto the shrimp and makes peeling difficult. At that point I would just eat the whole thing shell and all. The tea is generous and tasty. I really love the idea of two teas with one cup. After I finished the bubble tea I moved onto a smoothie. They have an ube flavored shake that was pretty. The shakes and smoothies are very flamboyant and photo worthy. I really liked that while you wait for your order they have some games to pass the time. We had jenga. Overall, would definitely go back for some well made bubble tea and shakes.
The wings weren't as good as the first time. The dining area could use some cleaning. But nothing that would make me stop visiting, the drinks are amazing.
The drinks are amazing popcorn chicken is good just a little iffy about the texture. The cajun fries are great. Everything made to order.
Ate here today. Did not like the Carne asada and fries. Thought I was getting steak and fries. Instead got a little bit of chopped beef with cheese and fries. The drinks were good. Actual steak and fries would get you five stars.
My daughter wanted to go here with her friends for her birthday I must say it has a Very different menu. She was very happy to go. And I have to say the watermelon slushie it's worth the trip.
Came here to try the carne asada fries and hot Cheetos Mac n cheese. I had those as well as the pink leechee slush And my boyfriend got the spicy mango one, we weren’t disappointed . Loved trying this place!
My boyfriend & I went for the first time on valentines day after lunch just for a quick dessert.. we kept seeing lots of people going in when we were eating in the restaurant next door so we went to see what the hype was about.. the inside is very modern and welcoming. The prices aren't to bad. Mg bf got the horchata drink..and I got the cookie monster sundae..it wasn't to bad..the horchata was a bit watery and the sundae was cute with toasted marshmallows on a stick.it was good but also something you could get at twistee treats for cheaper when you think about it ,but we wanted the experience of trying something there.we went again today and decided to get the lunch special garlic noodles and shrimp with another order of flamin hot cheetos cheese fries. We couldn't decide what drink so the lady asked one of the guys that makes the drinks what he recommends.. he listed a few pretty fast so my bf decided to try the peach blossom ..which I later found out was tea..it has a funny after taste ..a bit soapy or like essential oils..we didnt like it, but they were so nice and understanding about it and described some more options..I reccomend asking for a drink sample first. They are cool about that. I was happy with my strawberry limeade and they also said we could keep the passion tea. The fries were good just not enough cheese sauce on it. The shrimp was hard to eat seeing how the shell is still on it so It wasn't very appetizing.the garlic noodles had flavor just needed a bit more oomph. like more sauce..but I like the place..I'd keep going. Its definitely more presentation then about the food items..but I say give it a try and find what you like and it'll bring you coming back.
Tried for the first time as Door Dash was offering free delivery. I've heard it is supposed to be a great fusion restaurant, so figured why not. I ordered a Mango Green Tea with Carne Asada fries...DELISH. My sister ordered the crispy chicken wing combo in honey BBQ, and a Lychee Crush. I have to say the drinks may have been my favorite part of the meal. Both were very refreshing. Overall, good bang for your buck. I even had leftovers.
This places has a good vibe and good music. We got the mango and watermelon drinks which both was very delicious. Tasted fresh and the fruit was nice and sweet. THE CON: we waited 32 minutes just for two drinks!!! RIDICULOUS I would return if I can call in my order next time
This place is pretty good. After discovering this place through facebook, i realized we had to go on our next visit to the orlando area. My wife and I really went for the corn and the mangonadas but got carried away trying to try as many things on the menu as we could. We actually went back the same day and ordered everything on the pictures. Aside from the corn, we did not really care much for the chicken or the fries. We will be coming back for the drinks and corn though. The name is kind of misleading and rely solely on the pictures to get people to realize what this place is all about. Living 2 hours away, I’m already looking for an excuse to take a trip to Orlando and visit this place again. We will be back.
We were so excited stumbling across this new eatery on social media! The location isn’t the best and it is located a ways from where we reside but we wanted to experience what the hype was about. Parking is weird at this establishments (unexplainable). When we arrived there was a line. We waited for about 15 minutes before making an order. Cashier was bland and no greeting. Several workers looked confused and their was no team work present. I understand that this is a fairly new establishment, but it is obvious that staff may not have had sufficient training. So they are low on the customer service aspect. Our wait was about 15-20 minutes and the drinks were given to us before our food. The tea wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. The boneless chicken is questionable and had hair on it. The chilotes was good.
The mangonda was definitely worth the 30 minute trip I took. The Mexican spices that was put into the drink perfectly balances the sweetness of the mango so it doesn’t overpower of tastebuds wit sweetness. I was very disappointed in the service when I first came into the restaurant. The lady who served us kind of gave us an attitude and seemed very unhappy. I ordered the sirachi chicken wings and they were pretty decent. The chicken was kind of dry and the last I came here the chicken was more fresh and had more flavors. I would definitely come back for the drinks but the food and service is making me question on coming back.
The day we went in I think they may have been short staffed. As we waited in line, we only noticed 2 employees - one up front, one in the back of house. We got two drinks, chicharonnes, and popcorn chicken. It took about 10min for our drinks, about 20 for our food. The drinks were syrupy sweet, but hit the spot bc it was FL hot outside. The chicharrones were ok. The popcorn chicken was SO. Good. We would've tried more, but they were out of a bunch of stuff.
Food is pretty good. A bit pricey but they give you a great reasonable size for your buck! when you order shrimp for some reason they don't take the shell off?
The food and drinks are really good and at a good price. However, the staff is very rude and makes you feel like you're a bother. They were really mean and looked super mad the whole time.
Good food and drinks here, except when I wanted to do the lunch special they wouldn’t let me upgrade my drink for the additional upcharge even though it was right there. They also made my order wrong and I had to drive back to get it fixed, just make sure to check your order when you leave if it’s wrong. Other then that everything else was ok.
Delicious food and amazing drinks!! Only disappointing thing about it was the service. Everyone was a delight, but that young lady taking orders today wasn't being the best she could be and was giving not only I but my sisters a bad attitude. Ask for a simple thing and she'd point at it as if were expected to know where things are. I also forgot to ask for boba for my drink and went back to add it only to be greeted with a sigh and rolled eyes. Other then that, everything else passed my expectations and will be back in the future.
I was able to try a few different flavors of wings and left feeling a little unsatisfied. The taste is on point but both of my orders of (6) wings suffered from an oil bath. Way too much oil sitting in my tray to be appetizing. The captain crunch shake was nothing more than vanilla ice cream with captain crunch stuck to the side. Good cereal milk shakes either blend the cereal milk into the ice cream or at least blend the crushed hard cereal powder into the ice cream. I really wanted this place to be good and I hope the ownership reads these reviews to solve some basic issues with the food. The positive here is there’s a lot to try and I will give some other stuff here a shot in the future. Cajun fries here are tasty.
I am fond of the fact that this place offers variety, there’s something for everyone. I placed my order through Grubhub and got a dairy free oolong milk tea which was okay. I also ordered wings and fries, I didn’t like the butter garlic wing flavor and didn’t even receive my fries.
I was extra hyped after looking at their Instagram pictures but I was not impressed food was ok.. could use some taste to it, from the pictures it look spicy but it has nothing but salty taste. Shrimps on the garlic noodles had to be peeled with extra effort these has head tail everything still attached to them. Staff was nice and cordial food arrived within few mins.
The drinks are a bit overpriced and I was a little underwhelmed but the selection. When this place showed up on my Facebook feed I was interested and I was sooo let down. We got a peach tea and it was obviously canned fruit and again was just underwhelming considering we have a fresh fruit smoothie place near our apartment with fresh fruit smoothies and at half the price! The food was okay in my opinion the flavor was good but besides that it was pretty standard. I won’t be coming back anytime soon unless I’m in the area and really wanted something from there because it was definitely not worth the 25 minute drive.
I had seen this place pop up on my Instagram feed and was been eager to try it the next time I was in Orlando. The food and drinks were great. Large portions for a single serving. However the customer service was horrible. The lady taking our order seemed to be annoyed with any questions that we had regarding flavors or combo options. There was only two people working, one at the counter and a man in the back. At one point, both workers were in the back and a couple who had walked in, were waiting at the counter to be greeted and eventually just left. I wouldn’t go back to this location just because of the customer service but would be open to trying one of their other locations because I enjoyed the food.
The watermelon and mango smoothies from this place are delicious and I'm sure the food is too because it smells so good. This place should shine like a bright star even despite its location because it's so different but unfortunately it looks just like every other building in that plaza... Dirty.. it looks as if they washed everything with the same dirty rag in dirty water. The windows are streaky and nasty and the floor is sticky even despite not having any customers inside it's amazing! This place really needs a good thorough cleaning especially since it's covid. Other than that the smoothies are good.
Food wasn’t bad, just not good. I expected the hot Cheeto fries to be spicy but we’re everything BUT spicy. However their popcorn chicken was very tasty. The magonada drink personally was not good either. I might go back and give them a second taste but not anytime soon. They are JUST OK. social media really hyped this place up.
Only ordered a 16oz Strawberry Limeade to go, took several minutes to get drink. Said the total was $5.53, and my husband paid. As we were standing there waiting, I glanced up at the menu board and saw that the price of the drink was only $4.25. I got the receipt from my husband and the cashier had auto-added a tip of $1.00 to a 4.25 item (that's a 24% tip!). I wanted to say something, but my husband did not want me to make a scene. It is illegal to auto-add gratuity without explicitly written language saying such (FL statute 509.214). I let it slide, but I will NEVER go back because of this, and I am warning anyone who goes to check your receipt carefully. Also, there was no mint in the drink as the menu board stated, just sayin'. This place will not last long without some corrective action on part of management.
The food is great, sadly the service is lacking! The staff needs a bit more pep in their step. Put in a order and it took more than 35 mins and not to mention they didn’t get right. When I asked how much longer it would be they gave me attitude. A simple “it will be out shortly” would have been fine. The food and drinks are great but the service makes me question coming back.
I was excited to try this place, however the service was horrible. My friend and I arrived an hour before closing and we were rudely told that the dinning room closes an hour early and that we couldn’t eat there. When my food came out it was not packed to go. I understand the urge to go home because I work at a restaurant however when telling the costumers something it should be done in a polite manner.
The drinks were yummy but looked nothing like avertised. The food was terrible. Our “steak” looked unrecognizable and tasted nothing like steak. Ill come back for drinks but stay away from anything with meat.
Well I was a bit shocked. The hot Cheetos on the elote tasted stale. Thought it was me but my daughters actually said it before I could. My daughter had the kimchi rice and she did not like it. And she loves kimchi. She didn't finish it. The chicken that my son had was pretty good it had honey barbecue. But we went there for the elote and hoping for flavors. This place was far from us so it's unfortunate that we didn't enjoy it. I heard so many good reviews from the other locations I wad excited when this one opened in Orlando. The horchata was not good either. Didn't taste like real horchata. The tables were dirty when we arrived too. The cashier was okay. She recommended the elote. I like when people go above and try to make recommendations. Bad location too. Clean your tables please. It was pretty gross to see such nasty tables. If it was something I could just wipe off with a napkin it wouldn't bother me as much but the tables that were available were sticky and filthy. Music was loud.
I went in here with absolutely great expectations. I ordered the garlic with shrimp and had peach lynchee because they off soft drinks. The peach lynchee was good but expensive for the price. The main dish while okay was nothing more than angel hair pasta. The shrimp was served shell on while fried and coated in paprika making it dirty and difficult to peel. The shrimp was not deveined either which is a lack of food etiquette.
I came here with a group of friends and we had very high expectations. We each got a different dish and only 1 of the 6 genuinely liked the meal which was the Flaming xxx corn and fries or something like that. To say the least the drinks were great and the restaurant was clean! The staff was friendly as well... (This is just our opinion)
Honestly would not recommend eating here, it looks like it would be a good spot to spend your money but it’s definitely not(at least this location) Literally McDonald’s taste better…& I hate McDonald’s lol costumer service wasn’t bad however the food just wasn’t it. I’m really big on shrimp being cleaned and then fried however my shrimp still had the digestive tract, shell, & legs; so it was not cleaned before being fried and the fries had no flavor at all. Sorry to say but I will not be eating here again.
Drinks are very good and the food selection is not one you’ll find in many places. More so takeout-ish food with some street urban finesse. Food can take VERY long to come out. Ordered pickup and I arrived 30 mins after my initial order and nothing was ready. Waited an hour+ to finally see my food. Not to mention they always seem to be out of something every time I come here, which is a few months in the year. The price and quality of food is not worth that wait.
This was my first experience with this place and I let the gentleman behind the counter know it. He was not very helpful in making my choice as he offered no suggestions, nor asked me if I had any food allergies or explained the nature of the cuisine. I ended up choosing the Garlic noodles with Shrimp lunch with Peach Blossom tea and added an appetizer of a Classic Elotes. After 30 minutes of waiting for my food I asked why was it taking so long and the gentleman said he would check where it is, 5 minutes later they brought out my food. I informed the woman who appeared to be the manager that I had lost 35 minutes of my lunch hour waiting for my food, her response was "the food takes time to cook." I had to get back to work so I did not rebuttal. The food that I had to eat in my car in 5 minutes before I had to walk into the office: The garlic noodles were dry with no sauce, the shrimp still have their heads on and even though it does not bother me ordinarily I would not have picked it as I do not want to smell like garlic shrimp after peeling. The shrimp were dry (explains why my meal took so long). I have visited Mexico 5 times on different cruises and have had a passion for Elotes for a long time. My appetizer: (which can now be considered a side) these were straight jolly green giant nibblets from the can with a micro-dermal thin layer of pulverized cheese and no sauce... please do not call this Elote Zero Degrees, it is a disgrace. Paltry food and disgusting service all for the wonderful price of $16.51... I do not recommend this and advise to stay away... PS the peach blossom tea was good
Well here is only my second 1 star rating. These people, cashiers, servers are not wearing masks, they refused to serve my order but took the money. They should be ashamed and I highly disrecommend! Place is also filthy with trash on the floor.
👎🏽 Great presentation with NO taste. Milkshake taste like watery milk. Fries taste like they had be re-dropped in grease. The wings however did have a good flavor, nothing wowing though and wasn’t worth the money or wait. This place didn’t live up to the hype & the location isn’t ideal either. Could have gotten better service at Popeyes. Won’t come back but if someone brings me wings from there, I’ll eat it lol. Oh well, I tried.
I had been looking forward to this place since it came across my feed months ago and boy was I dissapointed! Staff doesn't wear mask and they do not sanitize. Cashier was not completely familiar with the menu. Menu items are overpriced for what you end up getting. Slushy tasted super watered down and mostly of water. Food was mediocre and unappetizing. Will not be returning, especially not to this location.
The service here is absolutely horrible. You can tell the employees are miserable and lazy. I go here almost every week and their menu and drink items are amazing. I ordered my usual matcha milk tea but it already looked off when I received it. The matcha milk tea was extremely pale and it tasted more like milk than anything else. When I told the cashier I didn’t like it the cashier got an attitude and went to to the back to clearly talk bad about me to the other workers in front of me! She then came back with an attitude and asked “so what do you want me to do?” This location has so many good items on their menu but their workers make it less appealing to go there.
The food was not great it smelled awful and was not worth the money. The drinks where good but not worth a trip out of your way hoping they can improve overtime the staff was friendly but the food seemed rushed and the young lady at the register was not very knowledgeable about what the restaurant offered which I believe is not good
Got 2 elotes the corn was soooo salty I couldn’t eat it just ate the fried and they forgot to add something or maybe mayonnaise? It was sooo dry idk what happened they used to be so good! Def not returning :(
I made a mobile order at 6:10, it said it’d be ready by 6:25, I get there at 6:35 and I ask when it’ll be ready and the cashier told me after she made the girls drinks who had ordered just that minute- then she’d make mine. They need more staff. They told me it wouldn’t be ready till 7.
The customer service here was horrible. Being this was my first time here I asked the cashier to explain to me what was elotes....... never did she say I was getting corn with hot cheetos all over it when I express this is not what I wanted or expected the manger with the messed up teeth had a very rude attitude. They did not want to change nor refund my money but after calling the owner she agreed to change my order but the manger with the messed up teeth had an even nastier attitude ......... so I just got a refund and I will never return to this establishment.
The carne asada fries, don't have the spicy sign and I have 3 for my kids, the cashier not prevented me. Thanks for your advice and customer service. 7 meals in total that I buy and 4 went to the garbage.
Extremely over rated ordered chicken wings and it took close to an hour to finally get them. The drinks Are ok but not worth an hour wait. If you go and there is a line do your self a favor and just leave it's not worth it.
Terrible customer service. If you have a problem with you food they will not let you exchange, nor will they give you your money back. We did not even get an apology for the bad tasting shrimp. So disappointing for our first time going there. Will not return and I don’t recommend anyone going to this location!!!
I’ve been to the sand lake location and never had a problem. One time I didn’t like a drink I got and I was able to exchange it, no problem. But the colonial location is absolute terrible customer service. The manager is illiterate and doesn’t understand basic business skills. Your customer should want to come back but what they’re doing here will DEFINITELY drive you to never come there again. I will definitely NEVER come here again, sand lake location ONLY! Absolutely disrespectful to customers and do not want you to be satisfied with your food or experience at all, don’t care if you don’t come back. As long as you spend your money it’s all good with them, and you WILL NOT get it back if something tastes terrible and spoiled and they won’t even change it out for a different item that’s CHEAPER than what you paid even when you tell them you don’t want the money difference I just want this replaced cause it’s awful.. terrible terrible experience and I drove a whole HOUR to eat HERE ! Just to drive home uphappy.. so upset.
The food has a weird vinegar taste! The shrimp was different then the location on Sand lake ( this locations shrimp had legs and shell) , the other location wasn’t like that at all. The lady who gave us our food said “I can’t remake it unless we did something wrong. But this time I’ll do it “. Then she proceeds to slam the container I didn’t want in the trash so we know she’s upset. I work in the food field so I know how a customer should be treated , especially if they are in pleased with the food. I will be calling corporate and never eating here again. Not to mention, the girl on the register kept rolling her eyes as if there was a problem. If there was , address it.
Horrible!! I paid $7.50 for 4 small pieces of shrimp. I got the wrong order and they were supposed to give me 6 pieces of shrimp. When I called to inform them of the problem, they claimed that the order only came with 4 pieces of shrimp. I would not recommend this establishment. The shrimp still had its skin on, and I ordered fried breaded shrimp. The food tasted terrible and my mango tea taste like hand soap. It's all disgusting and horrible service!
I came in at 9:40 PM for them to tell me their kitchen closes at 9:30 and they are only selling drinks. Who stays open for an hour and 30 minutes just to serve you drinks?? Just close the store for the night. On a Saturday they close the kitchen at 9:30 PM and stay open till 11 PM that is ridiculous. They got rid of so many good flavors and now this, they are trash now.
My brother has already posted about it . But I’m in the customer service industry and the way I was treated by the lady taking my order was unacceptable and just plain rude. I loved the food and drinks but the way she acted has turned me off from coming back. Being treated so rudely as a customer when I was polite and tipped . Only thing I can say is food and drinks are amazing the women working the front and taking orders not so friendly
Recently visited this place as it went viral on Facebook. As a result, I Made plans to take my friend from out of state who was visiting. To spare you reading the rest, let’s just say it was a very UNDERWHELMING experience. The nice thing about the place is that it was clean, they were not very busy and we were able to order our food as soon as we walked in. The order taker talks so quiet that it’s nearly impossible to hear what she’s saying. When you ask her to repeat herself, she speaks in the same monotone voice that you have to struggle to hear. *eye-roll*. Anyways, I order wings, fries, side of ranch and the Cookie Monster milkshake. The wings are good.... fries are equivalent to your steak and shake fries, and the ranch is veryyy “interesting” in taste, but still edible. The Cookie Monster milkshake was a joke. It literally was a dressed up icee, that tasted like watered down frozen milk. Smh - They advertise it as being “rich and creamy” but was literally the complete opposite - I tried to like it, but threw it in the trash. My friend ordered the Carne asada fries - and the taste of them is subjective, but neither of us liked it. The presentation of the wings and fries, etc was not reflective of photos that went viral online - it was just a very underwhelming experience. We both expected more. *arm shrug*
Staff was unorganized, confused, skipping customers and taking far too long to make simple green teas - over 30 mins. Plus, no proper health safety measures were being taken. Person handling $ was making the drinks with no gloves. cross contamination. Hello COVID. Canceled our order. Never again.
Just left. Ordered Mangonoda and Cajun cheese fries. It took about 45 minutes to get the fries. Drink came in about 15 minutes. The fries were plentiful skinny fries ,just like I like , with Cajun seasoning on it with melted cheese on top. Problem...the fries were stone cold and the cheese had a very bad burn taste. The smoke alarm had gone off a few minutes prior to getting our order. Apparently OUR cheese was in the microwave burning. They just spread the good part on our fries and gave them to us. After tasting the fries with the bad aftertaste, asked to speak with a manager. She apologized and said she'd fix us new fries. Comes back 5 minutes later with what turned out to be the EXACT SAME FRIES. We know because when we opened the lid and tasted them it was the cold burnt tasting fries. Just left. Was the first and last time.
Today was the last time I gave an opportunity to this place. The concept is good, but just in the pictures because the 5 times I've been there, it's been so disappointing!!! Today I ordered Carne asada fries, and yes it was nothing but fries, no carne (beef) at all. Why would you advertise a nice plate of fries with beef and don't serve that, just a portion of fries with some kind of salsa? That is not right! Thank you, but you can get so much more from anywhere else. I would not recomend this place.
We've been coming to this place since it opened. It's hard to mess drinks like this, so it's a given fact that the their drink concept is great. Love those little detail and effort they put on the drinks. All drinks are insta-worthy. The food is also good, the serving is big so it's definitely worth your bucks. Now I only gave 1 star because of the staff. The staff are very unfriendly. You get that feeling like they're forced to work there. Most of the time They’re just dead rude. So that's the sad part of it. Customer service is important in any business. Because by the end of the day, there's another competitor that serves the same stuff you sell. The toilet are also dirty. I don't even dare use it. So hopefully the staffing steps up with their game.
