The chicken fajita pizza was good and so were the homemade chips. Our server was attentive and accommodating without hovering. My child had a lot of fun in their game room.

Atmosphere and was old school and we loved it. Tables and booths could use some replacing as they wiggled and were old. Service was good and food was great. Large portions sizes so really get a bang for your buck. Will definitely be back in the future

We had a wedding rehearsal pizza party here last week, and everything – from the food to the service – was outstanding! Players has a party room in the back that easily accommodated our group. And our server, Evan, checked up on us regularly to make sure we were good with food and drinks. Food was ready to go when we arrived despite it being a busy night. And we can’t rave enough about the pizza, wings and cheesy bread – all very, very good. Some of the guys were saying the wings were some of the best they’ve ever had. And I can say the pizza is among the best I've had here in the Fox Valley. Fresh ingredients. Tasty sauce. Crispy crust. All so good. Can’t recommend this place enough. In fact, my wife and I are already planning a trip back to Oshkosh soon just so we can stop by again for pizza. Thank you to the Players staff for working with us and making sure everything went off without a hitch!

I had a great experience at Player’s Pizza & Pub in Oshkosh! I ordered the fish sandwich and asked to have it as a wrap instead—it came out hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. The staff was super friendly and made sure everything was just how I wanted it. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual bite or hanging out with friends. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu!

I had the worst Gyro I’ve ever had. Number one the meat in it was crispy , the pita bread was so thick and tough, and lacked proper amount of filling (veggies, sauce etc). Needless to say I’m very disappointed.

We had a party of 10 for dinner tonight with some of our party coming from out of town. We decided on Players because we have always had a good experience there. Unfortunately it was very disappointing, out of ten people two of us had warm food. Everyone that had a baked potato they came out cold and hard as a rock, all orders of fries were cold, pizza was at least warm enough to somewhat enjoy and the baked haddock was as dry as a box. One of our party has ordered soup which they never received. Server did have the cooks make new fries that did come out of the kitchen hot. Unfortunately I will not be suggesting players anymore, and not sure when I will be returning myself.

If you go for food, plan on at Least 2-3 hours. Kitchen is soooo Slow and the service isn't great. Place was dead and we waited 1+ hours for our food, which was 2 wraps and a burger. Waitress said the kitchen was backed up, but other tables that came in after we ordered, left before we even got our food. Wraps had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. Lettuce and ranch were hot. Fries were soggy. No apology from the waitress. Each time we go, we hope it's going to get better... it's getting worse. Sadly, we won't be back.

Once we did order our food it took 40 minutes to get it. I couldn't see what was happening in the bar area but I believe we were the only ones in the dining room with an order in thus far. We ordered the titan burger, a pizza and two orders of wings. The wings were good. The burger had more pink than you would normally get unless you requested it that way and the fries were luke warm. The pizza was only cut once (in-half) and had paper baked into the bottom of it that could not be peeled off. Instead of waiting forever for our server to come back, my dad brought the pizza back into the kitchen himself. The server saw him go in and out of the kitchen and never asked what was wrong or checked in with us. When he went back up to the server station to tell her he didn't want a replacement pizza at all we got our only apology of the night from her and no offer to make it right or see if he wanted something else instead. She came by once to refill our drinks and said the mountain dew might be flat but we could try it. She set it down and left right away before it could be tried and came back 5 minutes later to check. She ended up walking past our table 3 to 5 times to go to other tables but didn't stop once at ours to ask about the food or see if we needed anything. It was not a busy night, she was at the server station often refilling her own drink or on her phone. She stopped by when all of our plates were empty and we asked for the check. No apologies for the pizza or anything else. On our way out we saw that the owner was sitting in his office. My dad stopped to talk to him as he continued doing computer work without standing up or turning around to face him, at least from what I saw. When he was told about what happened during our meal he tried finding our check (not sure why that mattered anymore since it was already paid), he asked what size pizza we had gotten (as if any size pizza should only be cut in half and come with paper on the bottom) and told us that he's never heard a complaint about his staff unless it's busy (the three most recent reviews are all low and mention the wait time and staff.) The fact that he didn't even know that a patron had walked into his kitchen is perhaps a sign of the lack of attention paid to the dining room and lack of communication with his staff. Once again no offer to make it right or any real sign of remorse. Overall really disappointed and won't be back, it is not the same as it used to be. The past few times we've been there we have had similar experiences with poor service but this was our tipping point. I understand that things can go wrong in the kitchen, but the response to the mistake is what will stick in our minds. Based on other review responses filled with excuses and the owners in-person response which could be considered apathetic at best and argumentative at worst, I don't think they really care.

Honestly I'd give it zero stars if I could. Service was TERRIBLE to say the least. Over an hour and a half wait for a grilled cheese and two large pizzas and ended up having to take one of those pizzas with us because everyone else was done eating the first pizza by the time the second arrived. Just moved to Oshkosh and we will not be back!

It’s not what it used to be - terrible service. They hired a male for their wait staff and he is absolutely useless. No fries and only substitute is potato chips? Zero explanation of other options. The bar is the only reason to come in here anymore.

Stopped by we had 2 meals, 1 was some chicken sandwich thing that was cold and tasted average might have been because it was cold. And then a pizza which hot fresh and right out of the oven. Very tasty pizza. However it took 10+ minutes for someone to serve us. Asked for our order but didn’t ask for drinks. We had to go to the bar to get drinks and refills. Once food was ordered it easily took 45+ to get the pizza. Then another 15 minutes after to get the sandwich. Again the only time the waitress was seen was for the order and delivery of food. When we were done eating we did not want to wait all day so we went up and asked for our bill. And our bill had an added gratuity tip on it which was like $7. So basically we had no server but was forced to pay a gratuity. Which normally we tip really good, but in this case I don’t think it was deserved and we didn’t even get the choice. I was not the only one experiencing this a table near by waited 30 minutes to be talked to. I went back to server station to get a to go box, and noticed people in the back talking and on their phone. So I guess that explains the long wait time. Other than our experience, the pizza was good. Food was fair pricing, and the drinks were cheap but a little flat on the soda gun. But cheap so didn’t bother us.
