First time eating here. Child and salsa were very good. I had a mango margarita and all I needed was one! Had the super burrito with carne asada and it was massive! They do not skimp on the meat at all. The food was very good. Will definitely go back when I’m in town.

It may not look like much from the outside, but do not sleep on this place, especially for lunch. The lunch special burrito was absolutely gargantuan, comes with rice, beans, sour cream, guac, chips, and salsa, all for just $12.50 🤯. Greatest value for Mexican food ever, a Chipotle meal would be around the same price if not more but does not come anywhere near this burrito. It took all of my strength and willpower to finish it.

This is my 3rd time to this place thanks to my wife. She’s from Pasadena and says that this place used to be one of the it restaurants. The vibe is cool because it’s mostly local people. The atmosphere is dated but cool. The service is fast and the food comes out quickly also. One thing about this place is that the drinks are strong and well worth the price. This time we ordered Mexican pizzas, ceviche, chicken tortilla soup, and an a la carte chicken taco. The food was cool. It was hot. And for the price, everything is cool. I would go back again. I would definitely recommend that you go and try it for yourself.

We thought we might have made a bad restaurant decision when, as dropping us off, our Uber driver said " this used to be a good place?". Well, he was wrong and right, turns out this is a great place to eat and drink. I recommend the bar, but, if you read my post, you know that is usually were I feel most comfortable. Service was great, locals very friendly.

My friend and I had a fun time in the bar section of Amigo's. The steak fajita was huge and plenty to share or take home. The Chile relleno was also really good. Mango margaritas hit the spot in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Looks like many regulars, but it was my first time.

What a wonderful place. A favorite of our family. The staff are all cheerful and smiling. They all seem to be happy to work there. Everything on the menu is good, very good and sometimes exceptional. To me the chicken mole is exceptional. Insider secret : the Amigo Burger is ironically fantastic. This is old school SoCal Mexican family dining at its finest. Wet/oven burritos and generous margaritas. And the chile rellenos are really good. I could go on and on....

We were staying in town for an event at the Rose Bowl and wanted some Mexican food. This place popped up, and had good reviews. We overall great experience. Service was good, and the food was very tasty and fresh. Priced very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Back at it again this spot is a classic hole-in-the-wall--it may look a bit dated, but that's probably how they keep the prices so low. Came here for lunch with some coworkers and ordered the two-item combo with a crispy beef taco and chicken enchilada. The taco was perfectly crunchy, and the beef was juicy and flavorful. The enchilada hit the spot too the sauce was solid. What really stood out was the beans and rice, surprisingly fire. Plus, you get free chips and salsa, which is always a win. Definitely a solid spot for a quick, affordable lunch in Pasadena.

Carne Asada was very good and came with a delicious cheese enchilada. Chips were served hot and they were FABULOUS! Dining room is a little plain, but who cares. It was clean. Service was great.

First time to Amigos. Had a margarita and bowl of mixed seafood soup. It was $30 before tip. Both were good, traditionally prepared and tasty. Getting seated on a Friday night at 9pm took about 10 minutes. Hostess took a good 5 minutes to acknowledge several of us up front. All other service was good. A wee bit pricey. That said I'm definitely coming back. Several other things I want to try!

We ordered 2 Two Enchiladas Combinations on a special deal with Doordash and they were terrible. They had no sauce only a massive amount of cheese covering them. They had no taste or flavor. We were very disappointed and will not be ordering Amigos again. Doordash will not give credit for taste criticism
