Opiniones de Café Antoinette Pasadena
Small interior seating area but plenty of room outside. I wish my French was better so I could converse with the owner in her native tongue. Love the food and the coffees.
Very cute French cafe with an amazing breakfast croissant! You must try the champagne soup. Breakfast of champions, go Hoosiers!!!
A wonderful French café! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. The coffee is rich and flavorful, the croissants are fresh, light, and simply melt in your mouth. I especially loved the egg sandwiches — perfectly made and so delicious. The owner is such a lovely woman who clearly cares deeply about her café. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to everyone!
Stopped by the cafe while I was in Pasadena for the Oasis concert. The croque madame was a delicious lunch and the canale made for a nice dessert (having never tried one before). Staff was very friendly and helpful, even accomodating questions I had about the area. Would recommend this restaurant.
Great sidewalk cafe in Pasadena. Loved the crowue Madame with salad for brunch. I didn't think it would be enough, but it turns out the portion was exactly what I needed after a late night out. Staff was nice. The owner was out chatting with everyone like we were all old chums.
A French affair worth experiencing in old Town Pasadena. Leoni & Carolina greeted us with a bug smile. Moved chairs to set up a table for us. Good service can make even mediocre food taste good, but the delicious food combined with the awesome service made for an awesome brunch experience. The food, each one was no less delicious than the other. Very authentically French. Enjoy 🥂 We bought everything they recommended.
Spectacular cafe, and engaging owner! I can speak highly enough about our afternoon visit! Check it out!
One of the best avocado toasts I've ever had in my life 😍. The matcha was perfect, and the place is absolutely beautiful. I believe this place should consider expanding because everything they serve is delicious. The only downside was that they had run out of croissants by 11 am on a Sunday 🤯. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this cafe.
Adorable Cafe with wonderful breakfast options! Small, butvwe found a seat, as someone else was leaving. Very friendly staff! The eggs served on Crêpes were delicious as was their buttered French bread with butter & jams. The latte was also delicious! When in Pasadena, we will definitely return to try the other options on the menu.
This was a great find! The café was cozy, very pretty. The food was very yummy; I had the Croque Madame made with chicken (LaFarmiere?) and my wife had the Tartine. Both were not run of the mill in any sense. For drinks, it was a bold iced coffee and creamy hot chocolate. If I lived here, I would definitely return.
Such a cute French cafe! We were visiting Old Pasadena and this place was recommended by a local couple, so we decided to try it. The owner was very welcoming and explained everything on the menu. She even offered vegetarian alternatives. The food was really good. We tried the avocado toast, croissant sandwich, and a pesto chicken sandwich. Out of the three, the pesto sandwich was the best and most savoury. The service was great and there was no wait.
Adorable French cafe with delicious coffee, food and the best canele I’ve ever had! Friendly service, great music and a warm, welcoming feel. Loved the small, sweet details like edible hearts and tiny French flags.
Very cute outside dining area. Authentic French menu with delicious food. We went for breakfast which was great. You have to go early if you want a chocolatine (chocolate croissant) as they were already sold out at 10:30. Highly recommend this spot.
A perfect place to go if you want to start your day with an authentic 🇫🇷French-style brunch. The owner serves up delicious food, decadent desserts, and amazing teas(we tried the iced Notre Dame). The canelé was a standout—its crispy shell and soft interior had the perfect hint of sweetness, paired beautifully with a slightly bitter latte☕️.The croque madame featured buttery, crisp toast🍞 and a flawlessly runny egg, but the real surprise was the side salad: lightly dressed in tangy vinaigrette, it was so refreshing. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the flavors to the cozy ambiance. Highly recommend for a taste of Parisian mornings!
Want to go to France but can’t right now? Come here! Great atmosphere and for a minute - feels like you’re not in the US.
Nice location with lots of parking around. Having both indoor and outdoor seating. Authentic French cuisine! Really delicious and beautiful looking. Good place to hang out with friends and families. Like all the staffs, super kind and hospitable.
The food was divine! The winter tart was perfection. My husband loved the breakfast croissants sandwich. The Leo was the best coffee I have ever had. So smooth and perfectly sweet. Oh I will miss this place and can’t wait to visit again!
I really really really recommend their ham n cheese croissant 🥰 the iced matcha were too much ice though, but taste really good and refreshing during hot weather
Overall a great experience! The server was clever and funny. The croissants were fluffy and delicious. The salmon quiche was fantastic! I would definitely go back to this restaurant!
Chantal, your place is truly exceptional. The warmth, ambiance, and incredible food made me feel right at home. Your generosity and kindness made the experience even more special. Every dish tells a unique story and transports you to Paris. I highly recommend this cozy, yet elegant gem. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! Reem.
Transport yourself to “un petit coin de Paris”! Delicious, great service, food offering, atmosphere - all sights and sounds are on point. A favorite spot in old town
Authentically charming. The food was good as hell here. Pardon my French, but I was very excited to try this place as I’ve heard wonderful things. Also, just love supporting people’s businesses from abroad. The French mother and son who run the cafe are so lovely and kind.

The lovely lady who took our order is French, and it appears this cafe is true to its French title. A wide variety of loose leaf teas and the coffee was good as well. We got the salmon quiche, salmon crepe, and nutella crepe. The quiche was my favorite and came with a side salad that had a nicely balanced dressing. The crepes were also great, I appreciated the perfect texture of the salmon crepe. The Nutella crepe also meets high expectations. Limited indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating as well in the car-free alley. The decor is just fine for a local spot, I find the luxury bags a bit tacky but I'm sure that it is some else's cup of tea.
Discover French cafe in old town Pasadena, very nice surprise. I eat jambon beurre sandwich and canelé with tea to go. Everything was delicious, quality of ingredients. Special note: The CANELE amazing same as France. 😍😍🤤🤤 Thanks for the service and the team and friendly. Looking forward to trying other French specialties. See you soon
This place is a great if not perfect place to get some amazing breakfast. I had the croque madam and it was absolutely delicious. Things can be a bit pricey but for the quality and tase plus the atmosphere of outside breakfast and nice music, you can't say no. Definitely a must stop if you want a great French breakfast!
We were on vacation in Pasadena and I felt I couldn't leave without trying the food at this place. WE LOVED IT! Everything was very fresh and authentically French! 100% recommended, different, unique, and delicious. We paid $57 and felt it was well worth it.

A delightful little French gem in Old Pasadena, owned by a French couple. I had the pleasure of meeting the lady, and she was so warm and welcoming — it felt like catching up with an old friend. The food? Classic French and absolutely delicious. I tried the Croque Madame, the Quiche aux Légumes and the Nutella Crepes — and wow, that Quiche was chef’s kiss (truly, I’m still thinking about it) 😋😋😋 It’s a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it if you’re craving a little French escape without leaving town. Can’t wait to go back!

Cute little French-style cafe in Old Pasadena. Avocado Toast looked fantastic but the taste was nothing special, a little bland. Cappuccino and Nutella Crepe were really good though! On the expensive side but nice atmosphere.
Nice croissant but the coffee was not well made. Great menu and the breakfast we saw others eating looked great.
Fairly disappointed in the food. Flavours were overall bland, portion size doesn't match the price you pay, and the area is quite cramped for a sit down cafe. For 2 quiches and water, the bill came out to $60 with tip. Thats a bit extreme for a quiche about the size of a mini English muffin.
I ordered an avocado toast and an omelette, and the portion was a joke. The omelette was as thin as a tissue paper and salty. When I asked for a ketchup or a hot sauce for the omelette, they had none. As I was visiting Pasadena, I’ve been to so many brunch cafes nearby like Republik Coffee and Urth Cafes and the avocado toasts here were salty and average. Their latte smelled burnt. The staff was unfriendly and loud, dancing in the corner and thereby making our sit-in experience uncomfortable. I will not visit again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

$115 for a mediocre croque monsieur and a super dry / hard sandwich, 2 juices, a beer and mediocre coffee. I feel like I’m paying to learn a lesson about the value of money.
Not an authentic French cafe the dishes are sparse I didn’t expect to have a “sandwich crouqe madame” or crepe with almost no Nutella lol and very overpriced. If you are looking for REAL French breakfast there are better places. One of the owners reached out and had a nonchalant mediocre response to my feedback which gives me an understanding to why his food is the same …Save your money.

The food was okay, if not a bit too bland and overpriced. My biggest issue, though, was the service. I was in the middle of a video conference with an important client when they told me I had to leave because it was 3:00 PM. There was no 15-minute heads-up or "last call" to let me know they were closing. Even though there were tables outside, the staff moved them all indoors instead of letting me use one for a few minutes to finish my call. I ended up having to finish my meeting sitting on the pavement in 90-degree weather. I won’t be back, and I’d suggest finding a different spot if you’re looking to get any work done.
