Everything about this place is amazing and a must try. We got calamari, the scallop special, seafood and tomato pasta. The service is just superb. The way they present specials and also give olive oil and freshly cooked bread at the table is just chef kiss! Thank you for such a good service😊
Definitely a great spot to get some true Italian pizza, embracing the Napoli way. A family atmosphere that boasts a family style dinner. The pizzas are cooked in their wood fired brick ovens. Fresh and simple ingredients give the food the best results. During peak times, there will be a wait but it's worth it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
My wife was craving some pizza like she had when we were in Rome. She saw this place online, and we drove out to give it a try. Good choice. The drinks were on point, the meat and cheese plate was delicious, and the pizzas were molto bene! The cheese, the sauce, the meats, all were fresh and delicious. Something a little different on everything, like pine nuts on thebSettebello pizza. It made it their own. And they did a good job with the decoration and design. A good spot for a date or for the family, go enjoy Settebellos 👍🏼
We went there for Happy Hour. 6" pizza, 4 or 5 different ones, for just $6.50. $3 off cocktails. Very good deal. I liked the pizza very much, baked in the wood fired oven. Kinda soft, great tasting dough. Interesting toppings like brie, apricot marmalade and prosciutto. Quick service. Pre Calculated tips are after taxes. Big no-no !!
Great authentic pizza place. Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana offers an authentic Neapolitan pizza experience with a focus on quality ingredients and traditional preparation. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven, resulting in a perfectly charred, thin crust with a soft, chewy interior. Toppings are fresh and flavorful, ranging from classic Margherita to more inventive combinations. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, ideal for both a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. Service is friendly and efficient, though the pizzas can sometimes be slightly undercooked in the center, depending on personal preference. Prices are fair for the quality, making it a great spot for pizza lovers seeking an authentic taste of Naples.
Great Neapolitan style pizza that is very fresh, tastes like straight out of Italy. Came here in person in a few days as well as have gotten takeout. Bread tastes very fresh and the crust is not too chewy but not too crunchy. May be a bit on the doughier but goes well with some of the brickoven char. Service was good, but nothing spectacular. Atmosphere was a bit odd, it felt like I was in a giant warehouse given how open concept everything was. I’m not entirely sure what they were trying to go for with the atmosphere, but I couldn’t feel it. Food - 16/20 Service - 6/10 Atmosphere - 5/10 Total - 27/40
We tried this for the first time. And it’s now our fave pizza place in Pasadena. Pizza was spot on. Don’t mind that they take a purist approach to Pizza no Pasta. Caprese salad was good. Tiramisu was a little liquid and Lady Fingers were a little scant, but still goooood. Mos def will be our new go to for pizza.
This place was DIVINE. Settebello in Pasadena is a quaint little hole in the wall with wood fired pizza. Lunch special was a personal pizza with your choice of salad for $13! Our server, Adam, was fantastic! Super friendly and helpful with recommendations. I highly recommend!
Delicious, great atmosphere, and cozy. Can’t speak for parking cause I walked here. Lots of delicious options to order from!! Got one of the cheese and meat boards and it was delicious! The egg pizza was pretty good too. Service was good where they checked up on us a lot but it felt a little too much…to the point where we were being rushed out. And we didn’t even stay that long. Maybe an hour. The line wasn’t long either so I’m not sure what the rush was (he kept coming back to see if we needed a box and then brought the check without us asking for it). Anywho, I would come back here. Lots to try from the menu!
We were in 9 and we ordered the pizzas and salads. The pizzas were great and so were the salads. Nice atmosphere and service.
So far the best pizza I’ve tasted. I drove an hour plus just to taste the pizza there. I thought I was in Italy for a moment 😌 Friendly staff and environment. Very clean restaurant Will come again soon because I’m already craving it 😋

This location is new but the restaurant is not. One of my favorite pizza places in Pasadena. The margherita DOC (which stands for controlled designation of origin) is really authentic and delicious. Good wine too. A great date night but also family friendly.

Great spot for a more traditional Italian pizza! Flavors are very well balanced and delicious. Drinks are well made, especially paired with the Misto! I always ask for the market special pizza and have been pleasantly surprised with the special. Having TV's can be a nice touch at times just in case a good game is on but it doesn't detract from the warm atmosphere. Once of my favorite spots to bring friends in town.
Facts NO Fluff + Bruschetta and Speck were excellent, Focaccia as well + Neapolitan style pizza was excellent. Crust was chewy, slightly floppy in the middle (as Neapolitan should be), and had an excellent flavor and texture. + Tiramisu was served in a clear glass cup, a little unconventional but the taste was solid. + Good wine selection, good mocktails + Old fashioned served with block ice + Servers were friendly + Pricing is competitive to other Neapolitan pizzerias that are high quality. - Might have been understaffed as there were open tables, not a lot of people in line, but still had a 30-40 min wait.

The pizza was solid—definitely a good Neapolitan-style, but a bit smaller than I expected for the price. The flavours were nice, though I was hoping for a bit more complexity or punch to really stand out. As for the drinks, the regular sodas like Coke are served on draft and come with a lot of ice, so it ended up tasting like slightly fizzy flavored water. Service-wise, the staff was very friendly, but the seating experience was frustrating. We were a party of five and waited about an hour to be seated. The host wouldn’t seat us at any of the available four-tops, even though it seemed like a simple fix to add a chair or combine a small table. We were originally told it would be a 30-minute wait, but when it doubled, we had to push for a solution. And they kept seating later coming smaller groups, instead of combining 2 tables. Eventually, they sat us at a high-top that had been empty the whole time. Parking is available in a lot behind the restaurant, but it was full when we arrived. I had to park on the street nearby, which wasn’t too bad, and free when I was there. There are also parking lots in the area if needed.

My first time at their new location & my husbands first time at this restaurant. Food was okay but it wasnt the most appealing in terms of how it looks. My husband made a comment about how it looked like it was just thrown together. Not too much flavor & it wasn't hot. Customer service was lacking & all we wanted to do was get some parm, order our food & get the check. Seems like there wasnt enough servers that day because of the larger group next to us getting catered to while we had to hunt down someone. Willing to give then another chance in the hopes it was just an off evening.
Came here on a Monday night and it is crowded. Great decor, great bar and great atmosphere. Ordered Carbonara pizza and arancini. The pizza is pretty dry and hard, not as soft as you would expect from authentic Neapolitan pizza that is with fluffy and airy crust. Probably due to low oven temp and long cooking time and pizza dough hydration. Do not recommend. Arancini is a bit under-seasoned, but still very enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place, it’s just that the pizza is a bit disappointing.
We drove 70 miles to check this place out. Nice restaurant, open concept. You can sit and watch them make the pizzas using their wood fired oven. We tried 3 of their pizzas, one that included their homemade meat balls. They tasted several days old and definitely not fresh. The crust was very nice, crisp at the edge with that nice touch of wood fired flame. We also got a pizza with their spicy salami. Everything was just okay. It wasn't a bad experience, just for being a higher end Neapolitan pizza joint on Colarado Blvd, we expected our taste buds to orgasm out of control. 17 bucks for a 11" pizza, that after 3 bites, you're already at the crust. $83 bucks with a $12 tip for 3 pizzas.

I have to eat gluten-free, so I was excited to find a pizza place with gf pizza that isn't just a store bought crust, but my pizza was super undercooked. Like in the middle the dough seemed near raw. Toppings were good and the staff was great. Nice atmosphere. But nearly $30 for floppy raw pizza is hard to overlook. My friends non-gluten free pizza looked great.
Man, this place would be really good if they would put the slightest effort into the service. The pizzas I've tried have an appropriately soft, chewy crust and the arancini is the standout appetizer. Desserts are tasty as well, especially the bombolini and Tiramisu (although they don't give you enough Nutella with the bombolini). It's not exceptional but definitely good. But my God is the service atrocious. There's one extremely overwhelmed waiter for a large number of tables. Need more napkins? Go and grab some yourself because no one is coming to help you, even if you ask. Heck, the waiter actually saw us doing that and when I mentioned it she said "Yeah, I saw that". Everyone is so miserable they can't even pretend to care. Despite the solid food I won't be coming back. There are other places in LA that make Neapolitan style pizzas with better service to match.

Settebello was my first encounter with Neapolitan style pizza about ten years ago and it left a lasting impression on me. The location in Pasadena that I tried in Feb. 2026 (on national pizza day) was a far cry from the fantastic experience I had at this chain many years ago. It started off with the host/my server completely blowing me off when I mentioned my excitement over coming to settebello on national pizza day. His response was, "I have no idea about that," and immediately wisped away. That's how I would define his style of service. Completely touch and go. No interaction, no checking in, and was more concerned with standing at the bar on his cell phone than taking care of his customers. The food was nice, the arugula salad is so simple and delicious, anyone could pull it off, but it definitely needed salt. The pizza marinara was good as well, again, extremely simple, but well executed. It's unfortunate that what could have been an uplifting experience on national pizza day was turned sour by staff who lack passion, a key component to any restaurant, especially an Italian one.
Horrible customer service. We waited at the host stand for the longest time to be seated. The place was empty and the staff were just standing around. Then when we were finally sat it took a long time for a server to greet us. All while they all just stood around doing nothing. Our pizza was raw and soggy. When I picked up a slice all the toppings slipped right off. And then a group of 20 twenty teenage girls came in and the host told them they couldn’t sit until our table left so they all just stood around us basically pushing us out before we were even done. And lastly the washrooms have an overwhelming sewer smell. All around awful.
