I’ve had a lot of Jamaican food and this place is THE BEST ... there original shop “hummingbird” changed locations to here and I didn’t know any better. Literally for years I’ve missed this place and today I just found out they didn’t close, they just moved!!! Please check them out, you’ll be glad you did.

The best Caribbean restaurant in northern westchester, Putnam and possibly dutchess. Amazing Sorrel, Ginger punch, and chicken soup. Have not had anything bad. The portions for some things are a bit small but it’s based on what he pays. So worth it. A must try.

Friendly, family run business with some of the best Jamaican food I've ever tasted. Island favorites such as Oxtail, Curry Goat, Jerk Pork/Chicken and the best beef patties around! Definitely worth stopping in for a meal if you enjoy Caribbean flavors.

Amazing & delicious food and absolutely great customer service. Uber accidentally cancelled my order and I had to reorder, I ordered the Jerk Pork because the oxtail was not an option on the app. When I contact the restaurant to ask for the oxtails instead of the pork, they advised me that there was a price difference (we all know oxtails are pricey). I opt to downgrade one of my order, when my order was delivered I received a sweet note from the restaurant stating that the order was not altered. Very kind since the oxtail was more expensive. I appreciate the customer service and going the extra mile and sending a note. Great restaurant, great food, great customer service! A must try!

BEST flaky crust beef patty ever!!!! I always order either the fried whiting or Oxtails. I’ve been eating here for years and I love their food! I ate my beef patty so fast, I forgot to take a picture. They also sell bottled Sorrel and black rum cake.

Honestly, I can only a test for the breakfast. I’ve had dinner here before and I did not enjoy it. I will go here for Ackee n salt fish when I am having a craving. Last time it was a little greasy, but it tasted good.

I hate to leave a negative review however this is the 4th time that this restaurant has messed up our order and taken extremely long for delivery and no one answers the phone when you try and call. The food is okay, we are a Jamaican household, but after waiting for nearly 2 hours - I ordered Jerk Chicken and they gave us jerk shrimp. We ordered Mac and cheese and none came - just more rice & peas. It’s pretty poor customer service and unacceptable if you ask me. I really hope the management improves as we would like to support our local and minority owned businesses.

I ordered curry goat (didn’t eat it because it is not cooked thoroughly ) and jerk pork. The jerk pork tastes like all they did was empty a whole bottle of cinnamon on it.. even the rice and peas tastes the same. The food is very bitter and flavorless. They also forgot the Pepsi Which I ordered. I won’t ever order from this place again.

Food was disgusting. Had no flavor. The peas and rice was very dry and the jerk chicken tasted like regular grilled chicken. I asked for jerk sauce on the side and the man gave me a small cup of sauce and the cup wasnt full. Terrible experience. A waste of $11. Will NEVER eat here again.

The Old guy / owner of the restaurant was very stuck up and snobby like most Jamaicans are but never the least I ordered a large oxtail and got 3 oxtail in a large container with rice and cabbage for 23$ + plus VERY UNSATISFIED
