If you love osterias, a homey atmosphere, and good, traditional food, this is the perfect place! The lunch menu, even on Saturdays, is very varied and interesting. The portions are just right, allowing you to enjoy a first course, a second course, and a dessert without overeating. We tried the tripe and cotechino with lentils. We absolutely approved, especially considering the reasonable price.

Direi che nonostante ci sia già stato 3 o 4 volte questa sera anche grazie alla signora bionda "molto paziente e educata" è stato meglio delle altre volte. L unica pecca è mi dispiace dirlo perché è giovane e si deve ancora formare e la ragazza sui 20 anni. Mai un sorriso e una parola gentile. Comunque ci tornerò. Top il capo.

An impromptu lunch on the way back to Bologna. Excellent service. They listed the off-menu dishes for us, and we were lucky enough to be there during the Feast of the Dead. So, we tried the green bean and pork rind soup, which my companion ate. It was truly excellent, as was the mixed charcuterie board, which was also excellent. As a vegetarian, I found more options on the menu. I chose the off-menu tortelli stuffed with ricotta and spinach, topped with gorgonzola and walnuts. They were spectacular, and the portions were perfect. Highly recommended, finishing the meal with their homemade tiramisu. Dogs are not allowed.

Based on good reviews, we decided to try this place for lunch on a Sunday. There's excellent parking nearby, and upon entering, the place, which also serves bar service, was very crowded for aperitifs. After introducing ourselves at the counter, they showed us our table, and, I doubt it, they even asked us what water we wanted while we waited for the menu. The place is very beautiful inside, recently renovated, with many historic photographs of the owner and family. After perusing the menu, we each chose appetizers, a first course and a second course (the braised beef, which was off the menu). Overall, the quality is very good, with special mention for the frittata and the homemade Russian salad served with the appetizers. The first and second courses were also very good; honestly, I would have liked an extra slice of braised beef with the second course, which would have filled the plate completely. The Gutturnio wine, served in bulk, was also good. Overall, good value. Review from November 2023.

Excellent trattoria 2 steps from Cremona. Traditional cuisine, carefully prepared and good quality products. The only flaw is perhaps the Cremonese salami, it wasn't excellent. The marubini and the Fassona meat are exquisite. We'll probably come back with friends.

I'm leaving my review even though I wasn't given the opportunity to eat, so I can't comment on the food, much less the service and ambiance. On my way to Bologna, I saw the restaurant on Google Maps, and after exiting the highway, we went there. As soon as a lady saw us, she told us there was a place, but they couldn't come in because we had our very well-behaved dog. I was very surprised. I don't want to impose his presence where he's not welcome, but I wanted to emphasize that animals are better behaved than humans; he would have stayed calm under the table... I hope you'll reconsider this rule so as not to lose customers and perhaps love dogs more (of course, dogs are well-behaved if their owners are too).
