Location fantastica a due passi dal Castello! Ci siamo fermati per un caffè al volo e devo dire che è stata un'ottima scoperta! Caffè eccezionale! Complimenti anche allo staff gentile educato e molto premuroso!

I'm very glad that I visited this particular place. I liked everything . The food was amazing, the presentation was excellent and the service was on top. We were helped with the menu, a waiter named Dima easily picked up everything we wanted to try and made dishes that were not on the menu. I'm very happy and I was delighted with this place. It was our first visit to this place, but we will remember it for a long time and with pleasant memories.

A fantastic spot right by the Castello! We stopped for a quick coffee and ended up staying for lunch because it was so lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious and super fresh—we loved the bruschetta and tuna tartare. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy the great atmosphere, and recharge. Bar Castello is such a lovely spot! It has a relaxed, local vibe with a nice outdoor seating area and a great view of the castle. The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Prices are reasonable compared to other touristy places nearby. A perfect place to take a short break, enjoy a cappuccino, and watch the city go by. Highly recommend stopping here!

Very good restaurant with great service. Good staff and great food. The food was on the table very quick. Meybe in 5 minutes. Good beer and nice view to the castle. Nothing to say bad. Meybe the tram is only disruptive element. But i like it.

This was an unplanned visit but as I was walking past I saw an empty outside table with views directly towards the castle and just had to make it happen. Service was excellent and although this was one of my more expensive beers I had on my trip to Milan it did come with snacks and was still worth it for the views and location.

I was about to give up on Milan’s food scene — until I stumbled upon this gem by pure chance! It turned out to be an amazing choice, and I truly savored every single bite. I ordered the seafood pasta, and the flavor was incredible — the tomato sauce, the seasoning, and the seafood were all perfectly balanced. The second dish was raw, served cold — something I had never tried before. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it! The texture and flavor were both great, and it was beautifully presented. The staff member who served us was very polite and kind. I tried to practice my Italian with him (most of my words were probably wrong 😅), but he was so patient and even helped teach me a few!

Mi trovavo di passaggio per il castello Sforzesco di Milano e mi sono fermato in questo bar per bere un drink dopo cena,devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta,ho chiesto un white lady,Mattia,il barman,mi ha proposto una rivisitazione con un gin alla menta…..FANTASTICO!(ho chiesto il secondo!) Senza nessuna richiesta mi è stato portato un piccolo tagliere come “aperitivo”. Complimenti anche al cameriere Piero per l’accoglienza e la disponibilità! Consigliato se vi trovate nei pressi del centro di Milano! Io tornerò sicuro per una cena,essendo stato colpito particolarmente dai piatti serviti nei tavoli adiacenti al mio!

Dopo aver visitato il castello abbiamo deciso di fermarci per un’ aperitivo… un mega aperitivo direi…!!! due BIG spritz in una location che ti lascia senza fiato!! Personale disponibile e gentile! Spritz e piatto di aperitivo ottimo!!!! Consiglio perché merita davvero!!

Bell'ambiente, con vista Castello. Interni curati e camerieri veloci. Rispetto al passato, mi risulta sia cambiata la gestione. Merita sicuramente un salto, di tanto in tanto! Il posto fa costo, come si suol dire...

Nice place with a good atmosphere and pleasant vibe. The setting is cozy and great for relaxing. However, the prices are a bit high compared to similar spots nearby. Worth visiting, but keep the prices in mind.

Could be so much more, but decided for location as usp. Imagine the quality of dishes somewhat would match the prices… wasn‘t bad per se - just okish. Location actually did provide some atmosphere, though. Service was quite attentive. Positive: Tip-based, no (explicit) coperto.

Location is great, even on a torrid day, it was ok, as they have good fans. Food was ok, not wow, not meh, but ok. Staf was friendly, and assisted with everithing, including offering to help us buy some cigarettes. About the price, you see it upfront... and id NEXT TO A CASTEL... it will not have supermarket prices + there was no Copperta... and they offered chips and olives at the start. It gets 4 stars as the salad was not with super fresh vegetables, but good enough

I will only give 2 to Bar Castello. The only advantage of the bar is its location, which is right on the corner by Castello Sforzesco. The waiters are rude, they don’t give you the table you would like to sit, they don’t listen you, they are late in serving and they don’t deserve the money paid. It is so packed and crowded, I was barely able to find a desk although I asked them to put me inside. I ordered tiramisu and coffee, both vame late. The restaurant is so crowded because it is in a touristic area but it is expensive. Not really recommending.

The food served was of great quality and size. Lunch was spoilt by the scam of upselling from what you ask for to something they suggest with a price x 3 We asked for the steak and upsold the tbone at 111 euro . Spoiled the experience and what was a very nice meal. Seems they value their ability to deceive you rather than sell the great food the cooks are delivering with a genuine approach. Drinks likewise are upsized and then charged with a hefty price tag. Thankfully we can pay.

Il cibo era “buono” ma i croissant avevano pochissima crema solo in un punto e i prezzi sono elevati. Il servizio fa schifo e mi hanno rovinato la pelliccia con l’olio della spazzatura buttandomelo addosso per buttarlo. Non ve lo consiglio per niente il personale non è nemmeno accogliente e gentile.

Posto assurdo ! Bar ristorante per stranieri. prezzi folli e non giustificati anche se sei in pieno centro a Milano. Camerieri Indiani che faticano a capire e a parlare la nostra lingua che per un bar Italiano in pieno centro di una grande città lo trovo fuori posto. Un primo costa 30 euro manco fosse oro. Parlo di un piatto di spaghetti sugo e polpette non di tagliolini all'Astice. Cioccolata media 14 euro. Una volta era un bar per impiegati con prezzi normalissimi. Pura follia. Ho visto uscire diversi piatti ed erano visivamente atroci. Io e mia moglie abbiamo preso 2 caffe 7,00€ e 3,50 un caffe in un posto simile è accettabile ma il resto...................................Peccato.

Fermata per prendere un paio di croissant da asporto... Il cannoncino alla Nutella era stantio, ma non dovrebbero essere freschi ogni giorno??? Chiesta una brioche alla marmellata, ricevuta una VUOTA... Pagati come se fossero gourmet! Personale spocchioso e non disponibile, se non sai lavorare col pubblico, cambia mestiere IN A WORD... A RIP-OFF!!!! Bella location... solo fumo negli occhi

Se una coca cola la si paga 7 euro, se una brioche te la mangi con 5 euro, se un caffè te lo propongono a 3,50 euro... è lecito aspettarsi anche un servizio di tale valore. Oltre al servizio superficiale dello staff, manca ad alcuni camerieri la comprensione della lingua italiana e i bagni sono risultati sporchi all'inverosimile. Non che mi aspettassi la luna entrando li, siamo pur sempre nel cuore di Milano, ma a questo punto meglio rivolgersi al baracchino lì vicino se vuoi fermarti qualche minuto.

Absolutely disgraceful. This is the worst food I've ever had! I only sat down for breakfast at the nearest place to see the castle and ordered the most standard Italian food which came out DISGUSTING by the way. Cappucino mixed with powder and they will rob your money. The service was ridiculous and extremely slow. At another bar for the exact order, it was 16€. Our order totaled to 44€ here for a monstrosity. Take a look at this disgusting excuse for cappucino! I refused to even take a second sip. This is even worse compared to most tourist bars...

Just spontaneously sat down during an evening stroll. Ordered two beers. Been forced to drink out of ridiculously large glasses. Without a warning have been charged 44€ for two beers. Like come on.. I can fly to Scotland with Ryan air for this.

Beware. We stopped for a drink here, before having lunch at the fabulous Locanda Sempione. So the tray with two whiskeys looked kinda cool, but not worth €111.50! Yes, they charged €111.50 for two double-shots of Johnny Walker Black Label and a bottle of water. They try to explain it away, but still ended up charging us €100.00 for the two whiskeys. Disgraceful. AVOID.
