I ate at La Scala in Trastevere last night and it was delicious. They grated the truffle right over my pasta in front of me. Roman style artichoke was perfect as was the octopus salad. The wine was delicious by the glass. There were large parties with children also dining there. They were at least four large parties of 10 or more and tons of tables for twos and fours. There was a line outside the trendy ticktocky restaurant next-door. It seemed to be the place that locals have business dinners and families, family dinners. We almost missed it because there was not a person standing outside trying to lure us in!

The food and location were absolutely amazing! From the appetizers to the main course, everything was perfectly prepared and full of authentic flavors. The fried snacks were a delightful start, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The meatballs in tomato sauce were rich and flavorful, paired beautifully with fresh oysters that were both visually stunning and delicious. The setting was cozy, with a welcoming ambiance that enhanced the dining experience. This is a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a memorable meal and great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Trastevere. The highlight of the evening was the ravioli, served with the most exquisite tomato sauce we’ve ever tasted. Could this possibly be the best Italian meal I’ve ever had? Truly, it very well could be. My husband and I visited this restaurant as a random lucky pick one night on our holiday. Of all the places we booked and researched, this place far exceeded them. Their quality and the love they put into each and every dish is unmatched and their service is exceptional. Great place with awesome food. We went back for a second night in a row to end our Italian trip on a good note. The polpettes are amazing and I had my best All'amatriciana. My gf had the ricotta ravioli with truffles twice. The staff was welcoming and gave very good service.

We had an excellent lunch here. The atmosphere when you walk in is sophisticated but welcoming, and the staff were very polite. We came here hoping for oysters and were not disappointed - very fresh. Moving on to the main course, we ordered the Ravioli and Fettuccini Al Mar. Both dishes were just so good, our best food in Italy so far. I cannot recommend enough that you give this place a try.

The food was very good the service was excellent it was a bit cold but it’s my fault I stayed outside. The heaters were not as close to me.. We had wine, and two courses all was good even the bread. All in all I truly recommend this please.

Getting lost in Italy is amazing, and we found this restaurant that made our evening even better and more delicious. The service is a bit slow, but that’s because they’re always full and the food is freshly prepared with great care. It’s definitely worth the wait, and if you can, try eating outside on the street to fully enjoy the Italian atmosphere.

Fiancé was halfway through her pasta with truffle on it when she realized the large chunk of truffle she had already ate some of was infested with at least 4 LIVE worms/maggots? We took a video of them moving. I called the waiter over, he returned saying it was ?normal? For this to happen with fresh ingredients? (What???) and offered to remake the dish.. lol do you think she still had an appetite? After they brought out 3 free shots of Limoncello to try and smooth over the situation. AT MINIMUM they should have not charged us for her meal. Ridiculous. The manager didnt even bother to walk out and apologize in person. Crazy.
