Great how come every el pollo loco experience is different! It seams that all locations except fremont and commonwealth in Alhambra does their chicken excellent!

Let's start off by saying it's a very friendly place as I was ordering my food the cashier was trying to make my son laugh while taking my order at the same time. My food was on time I'm very satisfied.

Staff is friendly, amazing guacamole salsa. None like them. Chips crispy, food is fresh, clean facility. They have a two part parking that is kind of small, but share more parking space with a shopping center. I love this location and by far is my one and only favorite Pollo Loco. Great job staff and managers!

Wonderful. Just wonderful. This might be the best El Pollo Loco store I've walked into. Despite the small parking lot, this place is WORTH IT. The manager himself checked on me to see if I was ok & when I asked for a to go cover & bag he immediately delivered 👌 I'm truly humbled by that man's courtesy & grateful! My first time was a bad experience, The tables were very dirty and the sauce area messy. plus, the service was crappy; so i stopped coming. But this last time was a complete turn around. Looks like the new staff has been putting in work and keeping things tidy. Im glad things are better and now will be seeing me a lot more 👍

Wing lover special was freken delicious..juicy savory wings. The only bad thing was..when you walk in it smells like sewer water/stink #Yuck but after a while the stink goes away (you kinda get used to it) other than that great workers and costumer service. The manager walked by and asked if eveything was okay or if I needed anything ex...refill drink etc

I don't mind driving from Whittier to this Pollo Loco! They have exceptional customer service here. I got here 3 minutes before closing and they have everything I asked for unlike the Washington Blvd. Whittier Pollo Loco! Kudos to Jose Moreno and his team!

How to describe this place? The environment is open and inviting, despite it being in what may be described as a "bad" location, but the food is second to none. Hell, a burrito from here will fill you up and make you, your stomach and your wallet happy. May be $6 but worth it in the end.

The food is very good, healthy, and budget friendly. They don’t charge extra for avocado on my salad which is why I also order a drink. The day they start charging for avocado, is the day they lose my business lol

Best experience ever! The food was hot and fresh, the service was quick, efficient, and the manager went out of his way to clean an outdoor table so we could sit and eat!. He went above and beyond when he returned later to ask how things were and if we needed anything else. There were just 4 of us having lunch after our grandmas funeral. The quality and taste of their chicken is back!!! I also love the new sets of staff which I find has a better customer service than the previous. They are very accomodating with my needs and requests and treated me nicely. I stopped coming to this restaurant couple of months ago because I noticed that the taste of the chicken was different and I felt intimidated to ask for something. This is by far the best pollo loco I've ever visited. The restaurant is very small in comparison to others but it makes up for it with great customer service and a very clean dining area. The chicken is always spot on. Kind of quiet which I also like.

I am new in the west coast and never eat at pollo loco in up state NY or Maryland .. it was great .. chicken was just cooked at perfection ... I loved the sauces bar ..avocado sauce and pico de gallo was great .. It was a line while ordering but the cashier handle it pretty well...customer service is excellent and the prices are great ... I will recomend this place and will visit again !!!

The food taste great, the problem is they don't listen when you tell them what salsas you want and when you get home it's to late. This last week as I got my order from the drive thru I looked at the lady and asked her if the dressing for the tostada salads were in the bag, she said "oh yes". I pulled up and parked and went through my order and sure enough no dressing. So I had to park and walk up to the door (which was locked) and knock. I started with a help kind of knock on the door and nobody would come so I started to knock louder and some worker peeked from around the corner and I held up my receipt and she told me to go around to the drive thru again. I thought 💭 no freekin way. I started to pound on the door and nobody came, then I started kicking at the door and after a minute of that the manager came to the door. I told her my problem and she had the nerve to ask me are you sure it's not in the bag. I asked her if she wanted to follow me back to my car. She came back with my dressings for my salads. This defeats the purpose of the drive thru when you have to get out and walk up to the door. So frustrating, not even a I'm sorry, just here you go. Management, train you're staff better to LISTEN to the customer and their needs.

I usually get drive thru, they messed up one thing or another. I may ask for the medium spicy salsa, they give the mild or hot. I have to ask for a ton of salsa or they give one of each. Sometimes they may forget something too. The drive thru line is usually long after 5pm.

The service was great and so was the food!

Best El Pollo Loco in the area! It's been really hard to find a good, reliable El Pollo Loco. This one is a bit out of our way but was totally worth it. We appreciated that the food was hot and tasted good. My kids love the mac n cheese, and this one did not disappoint. If you're in the market for an El Pollo Loco, give this one a try.

This is my go to El Pollo Loco for years. Never had any problems until the last 3-4 months. Their salsas are good, but they can’t seem to differentiate the regular salsa and pico de gallo which I ordered.

I highly recommend. There attentive attention to please & give excellent customer service saved us from near disaster. I ordered online & also talked to them on phone. They realized that my online order was a different date then when I spoke to them. They called to clarify. Thankful for that as we would have had 40 people at Memorial service with no food.. We had chicken, salad, beans , chips, salsa, rice tortillas, enchiladas , & corn Everyone raved especially about the corn. They quietly delivered meal in nice containers with all the serving utensils & nice plates,napkins & utensils. When we went in to pay they immediately gave us a drink on the house . All the people we came in contact with were very nice & happy & helpful. I would highly recommend you go & experience there service yourself

Usually the food is great when I go to the one on Beverly n Montebello Blvd's or on Whittier Blvd in the city of Whittier but today I went to the one on Rosemead Blvd near Whittier Blvd n my chicken burrito alot of cabbage 👎😡

Little expensive compared to near options but is well to change time by time. For be a place for eat with your bare hands restrooms needs to be more clean and door open free hands

I ordered a Double Pollo Fit Bowl and two orders of churros. While the Fit Bowl was pretty good, the churros were terrible. I can only describe them as being mummified. They were stale and had the tiniest amount of sugar and cinnamon mixture. I had it delivered via Uber Eats which may have accounted for some of its staleness, but it still could have had some more sugar and cinnamon. Even after I microwaved them they were awful. Never getting them again.

Sorry to say but about two weeks ago we bought food here. I would have given a 5 star. Yesterday was a different story. Bought the chicken bowl each time. Unfortunately, yesterday's was not filled to the top with product. Very liquidity! Consistency is important!

I ordered one of the bowls in here and it was good. I was a little disappointed as I expected more avocado than a couple thin slices. The beens were good and the rice was decent. I also expected more chicken than I got. I barely found any in my bowl. The lady at the counter was very nice and recommended we get the flan. I was disappointed as the flan was the average kind they have at the grocery. I expected it to be a little more authentic but I shouldn't have given this is a fast food place.

Pollo Loco here on Rosemead and Whittier is the most under stocked establishment I used to go to. Ask for an item and they wouldn't have any. 2 stars don't get me wrong the food is the food but I have since stopped coming or going there due to the lack of condiments. And that's the only reason why, other than that it's El Pollo Loco what else can you ask for. It's not a bad spot at all. The people are nice and management is very helpful.

I didn't think it was a good experience. The tortillas were the worst I've ever eaten. I've never had such awful tortillas. They fell apart when you made a taco & it was so messy. The place was not so clean & stuffy.

I work across the street from this establishment and I have got to say the three times I’ve visited: I’ve waited 15-20 mins for food. Pretty ridiculous considering that’s majority of my lunch time. They served two people who came after me with equally as small orders. That’s the last time I visit this El pollo loco.

Just went to get a family order 14 pcs, i ask the lady 2 times if it was complete. It wasn't they only put 12 pcs. I call the restaurant no answer. I'll never go back to that place. Doble check your orders.

Noticed that employees ignore you after they give your food on the drive thru. They closed the window on you . I was trying to get more salsa and the employee closed the window on me while I was talking. Very rude

Always come to his place because I’ve always have good quality food meaning the chicken and the way it’s prepared. There’s one thing I hate at any chicken place. It’s when they cook the chicken dry or when they overdo it and it’s too greasy. Last couple times I’ve come here (including today 8/10/23) the dark meat has been sitting around and old and greasy. I asked for the worker to take it back and she basically gave me the same thing, and then I noticed her and an older male employee and the chef starting there laughing it up. If I could leave a message with the manager, I would tell you guys to get your stuff straight, focus more on your chicken and tell your employees it makes THEM look BAD if they’re standing around laughing and joking. Please correct this Mr. or Ms. Manager or I will continue to leave bad reviews. Sincerely customer since 2014.

Decided to try taco Birria box and regret it .hard shell taco taste old and full of oil .the meat looks old as hell,burn and dry never again im getting this thrash again
