First time going to Cavalieri and was impressed. They have a lovely garden space in the back where you can eat. My girlfriend and I ordered a cappuccino, lemonade, a side of bacon, and the pancakes. The cappuccino and lemonade were great and served promptly. The pancakes were a bit delayed due to how busy they were but delicious nonetheless when arrived. The prices were decent and overall a nice quaint experience at this Cafè.

We were looking for a cozy coffee shop to take a break with great coffee, and found one :) Ham Cheese bagel - perfect Apricot jam croissant- perfect Espresso - perfect. The staff was really friendly and kind, there was a bit of a waiting queue when we stopped by, but no longer than 10 mins. Definitely worth it.

Small cafe with friendly staff. Good value too. Tables outside in the garden or on the pedestrianised Piazza Francesco Buonamici.

Great place to stop for a coffee or tea. Indoor and outdoor seating. bathroom available. Nice location close to sites but far enough away to be quiet. Nice staff. Good cafe latte!!

While in Pisa we were looking for a coffee and small breakfast and stumbled upon this cafe. Staff was friendly and the food delicious. The coffee didn’t seem any more special than anywhere else in Italy. Generally it’s hard to find a bad coffee anywhere in Italy, so the “specialty coffee” slogan seemed a bit misplaced. From what we were told they just use Brazilian arabica coffee, which is pretty normal and not what I’d expect from a cafe advertising specialty coffee.

I went for brunch. The plate that I ordered was good but not worthy of its price (I think it was 16€ for two fried eggs and a coffee). Also, the staff wasn't that friendly. It's a pretty place though.

We stopped here for breakfast and managed to get a table in a garden without waiting. The food was good, but quite simple as for the prices they have. During weekends they seem to be quite busy, so take into account longer waiting time if you order anything else than just a crossaint.

What a pity for this place! The location is great, the atmosphere and space itself awesome, the food was good as well, but unfortunately, the service was so bad, it was already comical. In short, (or as short as it gets): We haven't been greeted but just asked whether we would eat or not. When we received the menu, we asked for gluten-free options on the menu, but the waitress seemed to be confused about the question and said there would be gluten-free bread. When we asked, whether there would also be gluten-free main courses and not just bread she replied that maybe there would also be some of the plates on the menu, that might be gluten-free - as if she was asking us. We kind of hoped she might know better than us, but well... anyways after a while she came back with our bottle of water and cutlery. No glasses. No table sets that the other clients had. We ordered an antipasto and what we assumed was gluten-free and she confirmed that maybe (?) one of the dishes might not have gluten. After a while she came to tell us, that the antipasto we ordered wasn't available anymore. She offered to bring crostini instead, which we said we cannot take because of the gluten, then she went off instead of offering some other alternative. Which was fine, I guess, if some minutes afterwards she wouldn't show up with some bread in a basket and two small plates of papa al pomodoro. It was a nice surprise to receive this little treat of the chef (as all the other guests did) and it tasted good, but it was still quite inconsidered, given the whole conversation before. When we asked whether the bread in the basket was normal bread, she confirmed. We thought she would get somehow the hint, seeing that she previously had claimed they would have gluten-free bread, but no. After a while another family came and the waitress moved their table so that we remained shut off from any entrance or exit from our table. I guess that's also why we remained without glasses and with dirty dishes in front of us for the rest of our stay. Although the place looked quite chic, we ended up drinking in turns from a liter bottle of water. But that didn't seem to bother anybody of the staff. I know that remembering everything and always being friendly can be difficult at times and I don't envy people working as waiters who have to deal with a lot of tourists, but it was not that busy that day and I think this place could really do a bit better. Plus, please repair the locking system in the toilet (the only one unisex toilet)! It simply doesn't work and it's super inconvenient to be disturbed various times while you are in there and everytime you go and reclose the toilet hoping it would hold that time, till you end up giving up and getting dressed and washing your hands in front of an inpatient other client, that just doesn't accept that "it's occupied" and watches you finish with the door in their hand...

Visited with a group of four, drawn in by the “specialty coffee” sign with good hopes. What we got was just an “average” Italian cappuccino. If they didn’t advertise themselves as specialty coffee, it would’ve been fine — but the quality didn’t match the claim of serving specialty coffee. The outdoor seating is beautiful, set in a lovely Italian square — definitely the highlight. Service was so so. The staff didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic or friendly. It was hard to get interaction. We even came back to give it another try (maybe the barista had a day off the first time?). We did see someone get a proper latte-art coffee, but despite a few rounds, we weren’t that lucky . Great setting, average coffee and service. If you’re after true specialty, you might want to look elsewhere.

Our hotel offers breakfast at this cafe. It got fulled up pretty quickly after 9:30. The breakfast itself was delicious and the staff was friendly but the cafe seemed understaffed. The second time we had breakfast there a bit earlier, the staff was much relaxed and we got freshly squeezed orange juice. The food was better presented as well.

Specialty coffee? What a bad joke! I really feel fooled. The cappuccino is just a regular italian cappucino with milk foam, no latte art, while the V60 is just something that tastes like wet socks. Terrible! Stop calling yourself a specialty coffee shop!
