Love their bagels! They have lots of options and they are always fresh. I have a hard time deciding between their jalapeño cream cheese and their pesto cream cheese because they’re both so good! Friendly and quick service.

If you are in Placerville and wanting breakfast or lunch this is the spot. We grew up here and now every time we come to visit we stop in to grab our favorites!

Good variety of freshest bagels you can find anywhere. Nice stop to or from Lake Tahoe to Sacto and Bay Area.

I love bagel works!!!! Such an incredible local business. We had a meeting at work recently and everyone wanted breakfast burritos..we needed somewhere around 30 and quickly. I felt horrible because I have worked in the food industry and that’s a huge order to call in at the last minute. The employees at bagel works were so awesome, they told me they could it with a smile! I appreciated it so much. They even thanked me for my business which really stuck with me..I thought they might be frustrated with the huge order but it was quite the opposit! The burritos themselves were DELICIOUS. I’m craving one right now. We got an assortment from bacon to avocado and my favorite- sausage with country gravy! The eggs were so fluffy and the cheese was melty and creamy and plentiful. They labeled each one and packaged them nicely. They’re also huge..what a great deal! Highly recommend. Thank you bagel works!!!! You’re the best

Their bagels are always fresh and yummy! I'd really like to try some of their other choices when I can actually sit down and relax...Everyone in there is really nice; however, the other day I went in there with my daughter..(she is not one to complain about service, she's 12) But as we were getting in the car, she said to me, "Didn't the girl making our bagels seem kinda rude mom?" I'd never seen her in there before so I just chalked it up as she was having a bad day...We all have them....That's why I'm keeping the 5 star rating...Hopefully she'll be in a better mood on my next visit..

Bagel works offers consistently excellent quality, both in food and service. They have a wide assortment of bagel types, although alot of them are often gone by the end of the day. The food arrives quickly, always with exactly what I ordered. They have good pasties as well, offering day old pastries as well for much less. The place it very nice too, always clean, with plenty of seating and with newspapers and magazines there to read too. There's outdoor seating, with a nice view, and comfortable outdoor chairs.

My family and I love their bagels! My usual is a blueberry bagel w strawberry cream cheese and my parents always split a veggie heaven on a jalapeño bagel. So good! And I just have to say, when you get an iced drink, they don’t load it half way or more with ice...like some places. Perfect amount of ice and what you pay is what you get! Super affordable and TASTY!

This is my new happy place! The line was short for a Saturday morning. The girls working here were super sweet. I ordered the Lox bagel on "the works" (everything bagel). It was fantastic. The bagel was not too fluffy and just the right amount of chewy - perfectly toasted. Lots of salmon and cream cheese and all the goodies. Well worth it. I'm already ready to go back!

Very fast service, great selection of bagels and option of breakfast or lunch. I got the Turkey avocado on an onion bagel, delicious!! Not too much seating, but there's always to go, absolutely worth it! Prices are great as well, highly recommended.

We've gotten lucky the last couple of times we've stopped here. Typically when you go especially on a weekend it's really busy takes a bit to get through, however, this time there was no one in line and our food came out promptly with our drink order and we were on our way quicker than expected. Steph is always really friendly and nice. The food is always delicious!

So, normally I love this place and my husband and I go there almost every weekend. But they really dropped the ball today, and he brought home a bagel that is missing half of the bottom. I really don't understand how that can be overlooked. I'm leaving this review because that's kind of a big mistake. Everyone can have their off days, but jeez...

1st off, quality of food is excellent! The problem though, is the service and quantity bagels on hand. Unfortunately, the order is not made correctly 9 times out of 10 and they run out of bagels too soon each day. For a place that is only open from 6:30am to 2:00pm....they should at least get the orders right.

The staff is really friendly, and the place looks clean! I ordered the mocha coffee, which was great. I also ordered the bagel; it was okay, but they could add more cheese and ham to match the listed price, which I think is overpriced.

Walked in this morning and the employee was sitting on the counter! All 3 girls working were rude. No mask for anyone. The girl preparing the food proceeded several orders without washing hands! Over $20. for a dozen bagels. Never again!!!

Really good bagels but every time I call I get put on hold for 3-5 minutes which isn’t bad but this morning they forgot about it I think and I was on hold for 10 minutes and at that point it’s just easier to go in the store

Went here recently and got a bagel, the bagels are pretty good, but I was wondering where the cream cheese went? My daughter brought me a bagel home, there was hardly any cream cheese on it. Is this a way to save money?

Unfortunately, the bagel DOESN'T work. I came in hoping for fresh bagels for breakfast (about 8:30 am today), and they looked promising... but the swiss and bacon bagel I just had was one of the driest, most stale bagels I've ever had. Very disappointing... I guess maybe they expect people to toast the bagels, but shouldn't have to do that if they are fresh (this one must have been made days ago. It actually had the dense, dried out texture of a store-bought bagel that had been refrigerated or frozen and then thawed.) Fortunately, the croissants I got were soft and fluffy. I also ordered a "White Lightning" coffee... this is supposedly white chocolate, but didn't taste like it (tasted more like a berry flavor?) But at least it was sweet and caffeinated (and reasonably priced), and it helped me choke down the dry bagel.

I should have counted my lucky stars then and taken my breakfast choice elsewhere, even McDonald's would have been a wiser choice. This is by far my worst experience ever. Zero stars

Excellent bagels and house-made cream cheese. However, my experience today was far from stellar. The very tall brunette young girl working this morning was very rude for no apparent reason. Then when I finally got the bagel it was not toasted. Perhaps some more training could benefit this young girl.

I ordered 2 poppy seed and 2 the works bagels. I only received 1 poppy and 2 works. I took a bite of the poppy seed, it was inedible. It tasted old, had a peculiar taste, nothing at all like a good bagel. A total waste of ,$7.50. the young cashier was very nice and friendly

The food here isn’t bad, it’s actually pretty good IF it’s done right. Most of the time, the people here can mess up a simple sandwich. Sometimes when ordering a BLT they’ll drench it in mayonnaise, and it feels like I was eating mayonnaise with a side of BLT. Not to mention the service. Someone could walk in, and the workers would look at each other with a look of “so are you gonna take the order or should I?” Quite unwelcoming.

Hospitality is unheard of at this establishment. If you're looking to walk into a space and receive no greeting, no smile, looked at like you're a complete pain in the butt come on in. Food is decent.
