Always a great meal. Great meal for the money. We frequent there alot. For bdays, or just because. A must try!

Great experience. Waitress and food service excellence better than I have had in a long time.

My favorite place for all you can eat Chinese food. Unfortunately this restaurant is now permanently closed as a result of the gas explosion at the shopping center, Market at University. The entire complex has been declared unsafe and it's been estimated to be from 18 to 22 months before rebuilding is started. Royally sux for a lot of businesses and their dedicated patrons. I'm jonesing already.

I was surprised, this was by far the best Chinese Buffet that I ever went to. All the food was well presented and tasty, the place is clean and organized. I noticed an award of "One of the best 100 Chinese restaurants in the US" on the wall, well deserved.

This place is the bomb. Serves good Chinese food. The seafood is amazing. They have a wide arrangement of seafood ranging from oysters to lobsters. They also have a lot of deserts such as jello, lychee, ice cream, etc. Highly recommended.

My husband & I were in this section of town, far from home, for a doctor's appointment, and we happened on Dragon Buffett only because Carraba's was closed! I consider his DIVINE INTERVENTION because the food was divine! I have never seen such a great selection, from sushi, to standard Chinese, to Japanese steamed dumplings, to things i have never heard of! I will make the trip just to go back there to eat! And yes, you judge an Asian restaurant by the number of Asians eating there, and there were quite a few eating lunch there that day!

For Father's Day it was great. The selection of seafood so fresh and cooked in many ways to satisfy all of my guess. We were full for hours.

The variety and quality for the price is very good. They're friendly and provide fast service as well. They include a sushi, seafood, and 4 dimsum selections as well.

I loved it went with my wife we had a good time eating and they serve lots of different things. It was also a good price but a bit tricky to find.

The price of the weekend all you can eat buffet is absolutely amazing! It's literally like $13 and there are so many options. The food is also really good.

Literally awesome selection! I haven't had a bad experience yet. I get everything I like here and my favorites are the coconut shrimp, the street noodles, shrimp dim sum, shrimp and lobster sauce, pepper and onion steak, potstickers, the awesome sushi. It's a real hole in the the wall place but so damn worth it!!!! I am such a picky eater but this buffet makes it perfect for me to have what I want. The coconut shrimp is to literally die for!!!! Will be back soon :)

Good service and delicious, fresh food

This place is AMAZING....They have a large selection of many items. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared properly. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They check to see if you need anything on a regular basis. This place is clean, including the restrooms. Nicely decorated and well kept. A bit hard to locate but the GPS (Google Maps) is very accurate. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Been to a few other buffets in the area but I always come back to the Dragon. You can count on your favorites always being there with above-average quality and freshness. Also love the Chinese Rock and pop stars that they play in the restaurant. I don't know what the hell they're saying but it's pretty cool.

My favorite spot for Chinese and especially sushi. One of the few places in the area that also includes sushi in the buffet. And with a reasonable price to tag along. Place is a little old but clean. Service is fast and, what can I say... neither rude or polite. And, of course, personnel still learning basic english which I have come to get use too. Anyways we don't come to chat but to eat. And eat we do and it's all good and getting better everytime. Depending on the season can find always something new that had been added. A recommendation... If you want everything fresh then you should come at midday or at dinner time as they clean everything out about 3pm and place all fresh for the dinner crowd. Learned this the hard way with the sushi as we came at 3pm trying to beat the night crowd. The sushi way old, dry and hard and although the cooks was there they were busy getting ready for their next shift and trying to clean out everything. So you are warned and don't complain afterwards. All in all, I highly recommend this place to eat and then get out and enjoy live. Maybe enjoy a dessert someplace else although they have great things also for dessert...darn!

This has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. The food choices are humongous, including freshly prepared stir fry, crab legs, sushi, mussels, shrimp, etc, etc. The items are all delicious and freshly replaced often. Aisles are wide, food displayed attractively, service attentive. What more can you ask for?

Looking for value for money? When you are in the Plantation, Davie areas of Fort Lauderdale seeking for lunch or dinner Dragon Gourmet Buffet is highly recommended. That if you like oriental type of food. My husband and I are frequent to this restaurant normally on the weekends. I would suggest that you come early for lunch as the food are freshly cooked. But of course replenishment is very regular. This restaurant is value for money. They offer a variety of food. I noticed that guests love their blue crabs, prawns and other seafood. In the evening they serve Alaskan crabs, stone crabs (not my type), oysters and some clams cooked really nice. They also serve dim sums, steamed salmon and flounder, they have a corner for hibachi, sushi, and sashimi with nice pickled gingers and wasabi. The usual Asian white rice, beautifully fried rice, noodles, and other yummy food are always there. I love their congee too. Last but not least are their desserts, ice cream , fruits, yummy tarts, sweet pastries, etc. The servers are pleasant. I have not experienced attitude on majority of them. This is not a Ritz-Carlton restaurant so your expectation of service should be adjusted.

Sushi is great if you tip chef. Excellent Cantonese, Hunan, Mongolian and Dim Sum too. Excellent selection always waiting! Large Oriental clientele, many Oriental tour buses come here! Having grown up in NYC, their Chinese food is nearly that good as Chinatown.

Excellent quality food with an extraordinarily large selection of dishes to choose from. One Price covers all the options and it is very inexpensive. This is by far one of the best all-you-can-eat buffets in Broward County.

I gotta be honest, I was skeptical at first but figured, what the heck, let's go for it. Surprisingly this place was actually really good! They have so many different types of food I couldn't believe it. Crab legs, octopus, oysters, urchins, frog legs, sushi, muscles...the list goes on and on. Plus all the normal Panda Express options. Very nice service and my glass was never empty (this is huge for me, I hate when my glass hits empty status). We'll be coming back!

The food was good, wasn't the best, but when you're hungry it will do. The pricing was confusing when it comes to dinner and lunch. Can not figure out how they charge me. We went in at 3:30 and stayed there tell 4:30ish and it was in between their lunch and dinner time so I was sorta confused with the pricing. But they are fine, the guy there at the front desk was cold. LOL! Thank You!

Was there for lunch. Not much expectation but end up it's pretty good and price is right. There are lots of selection from dim sum to seafood. I like the steam fish, taste good.

Noticed that a lot Chinese people eat there. That's a very Good sign they're doing something right. Best selection I've seen around..

As buffets go it's pretty good The service is fast and friendly They have every basic Chinese dish as well as a table to make to order, sushi, some other ethnic foods, fresh fruit, a small sails bar, soups and nice deserts. The price is very reasonable.

Place was very clean and not busy at all, I was there for the last 30 minutes of their lunch time that ends away 3.30pm. The food was visibly old by then, still it had great flavor and all dishes were available. The server was very polite, and kept busy getting used plates and refills for all customers. You can also buy food to go buy pound, at very good prices. The last time I got something to go spend about 20 dollars for 3 dishes. Also there is special prices for kids.

Good selection. Typical Chinese buffet with some sushi. Crab legs, oysters and mussels for dinner, 17.99$. Decent deal.

Wow, this place has a lot going for it. The variety of food, the quality of the food and the comfortable chairs and booths were well worth the long drive from Delray Beach.

If an Indian restaurant is visited by Indians and a Chinese restaurant is always full of Chinese folks that means the food is good. You can eat Chinese food anywhere, carry out, delivery, etc, but in Dragon Gourmet Buffet you will find the best quality items. This is the only place I could find that serves delicious frog legs. Fish dishes are well prepared as well as wonderful eggplants to name some.

Service was good. Food was also good, didn't like the fried rice. A little pricey for dinner. One thing we didn't like was that there was a fly over the oysters, shrimp and mussels, because of that we didn't get to eat those.

Chicken Skewers, Tilapia, Sushi are excellent. The restaurant has ample space to walk around. Their rice is 1 star knocked dow, how do you not have good fried rice in an asian restaurant!?

Very good style Buffet for Sushi, ribs and other stuff, but in my opinion, chow time is the best Asian Chinese type style Buffet in the Pines on Pembroke and University

A good Chinese buffet. The seafood was fresh and the green mussels were the largest I have ever seen. Good Hot and Sour soup.

Lots of good hot options, the sushi rice was too sticky for my taste making the sushi bar less appealing, but for around $11 a good lunch buffet

Wonderful decorations, koi fish tank, warm atmosphere, plenty of great food to decide on especially if family guest have diversified eating desires. I go there often with guest and for parties. My only dissatisfaction is the table servers are not very friendly at all.

There was a wide variety of food. Much more choices than a regular buffet. It's $15 but for the cost I thought it was worth it. The food was very delicious. The only problem I had was that most of the food was cold. Almost as if the food was sitting there a while. I think that is due to the fact that it's not very busy during the daytime, when I went there. But by the time I left around 7pm, the restaurant started to get very busy, so I presume that the food would have been cooked more regularly.

This buffet offers some dim sum items that other buffets don't include. The baked BBQ pork bun is a winner. Lots of choices include sushi, salads, appetizers, hot dishes, soups and desserts. On weekends there are more items include blue crabs. For $13 lunch, you can't go wrong since there are so many items.

Been there before many times and going back tomorrow. Many choices of food such as, honey chicken, fish, hibachi, delicious sushi, and many varieties of desserts. Everytime I go there we get great service from the waitresses and they're very fast. Can't wait to go back!!!

Good variety of food. The place is clean, service is ok. Food quality is good for that price. There are cheaper Chinese buffet 10 minutes away but food there is not that good. You get what you pay for. What I like most are the dim sum, fried rice noodle, duck, broccoli steak/beef, and the desserts.

The customer service here was unmatched very excellent. The food was not different, stood out or any better than another chinese restaurant the food was not that tasty nor did it look appetizing. Certain areas looked unkempt. It is a very small buffet and not alot of selections was available to chose from. The fish filet was uncooked and you could taste the raw seasonings. It is $15.99 for adults and children under 11 yrs pay less. This was during the week price. The good thing is they always have seafood even during the week. Their crabs are well cooked. Crabs fried or steamed they did a good job with the crabs.

The place is ok. I ate sushi there. In my opinion not all the sushi was fresh. Staff also didn't see that our water needed to be refilled. Strange cause the restaurant was not full at all.

This is like your typical Chinese buffet, nothing too special or fancy. The food is alright, they have a lot of varieties but the quality isn’t the best you can get. The only good part about this buffet is the sushi bar, everything else is just ok.

It's an okay place to eat. My issue was some of the food was cold and some of the staff there wasn't very helpful

I went-to the restroom to wash my hands and a older gentleman was using the restroom he finished his business and didn’t wash his hands.. at the buffet same said gentleman was snaking at the buffet.. basically trying out various cakes and other things instead of getting a plate and sitting down.. this is no fault of the restaurant but a nasty 🤢 person who should no better..

Been their twice. Nice selection in food choices. Restaurant was dirty (floors and food bar) so I am guessing the kitchen is. Waitress were just there not much help.

The food was great at a reasonable rate but our party was rushed bringing our bill and asking several times when we were going to pay it. we had a party of around 15 people and were trying to enjoy each others company at mothersday. Not sure we will return.

I go there for lunch sometimes. Decent soups and dimsum. The chinese dishes are ok as well as the sushi. I just get what i like, try not to overeat, and go. Not bad for the price

The food was excellent. The mold in the vent and overhead made it very hard to enjoyed the meal. Please fix your ceiling. I'm allergic to mold. Very bad reaction breathing in there. One plate of food was enough . For 3 people 65.00 and a 13.oo tip. Let fix the ceiling and clean the vents

Only come here for LUNCH or on a SATURDAY. They have dim sum on Saturdays and it is quite good. Although the fried taro puffs get cold out there on the buffet. Lunch is a good value as they have sushi. Dinner is not worth it and just like any other buffet out there. I went there on a Saturday night and was sorely disappointed and felt like I overpaid.

The food is pretty good, I personally love the coconut shrimp and scallops however the food selection is a little bit smaller then your usual buffet. The crab Rangon is good and the sushi is OK. The place is good for the price. We paid $12 person on Sunday and $2 for soda .

Went there on a holiday weekend, not as many choices as other buffets I have been to. While food was alright, found food to be not hot enough, temp was an issue for me. Price was higher for holiday weekend. Was OK but I would not put it on my list of first choices to eat. Not a fan of cool food that should be hot.

There was a great variety of food. I had lots of sushi and other various types of seafood, although I cannot share my opinion about the other food in the buffet, what I did have was very good. The sushi was fresh and made right in front of me. The quality of the fish was the best but it was yummy. Food aside, the customer service and restrooms were inadequate. I walked into the bathroom and found that one of the toilets was overflowing. I told the manager and he seemed unconcerned. I then proceeded to ask if there was another bathroom he told me to go to a Publix, they had bathrooms there. Then he turned back to his papers and ignored me. In addition to an overflowing toilet, two out of four of the stall doors did not have a lock. Overall, my experience was disappointing. I liked the food but the service I was given left a horrible taste in my mouth.

Not the best. Chicken skewers good. Some of the food was cold. Dessert bar not appetizing. Just didn't taste good.

We drove a long way to go to this restaurant because we heard a good review. Review was so wrong. First, the entire staff was rude, impolite, and just plain unpleasant. There was a pretty good selection of food and sushi plus a rawbar but the quality was lacking and it was certainly not worth the drive when there are several places that are much better and closer to home

Dined here for lunch on 1/15/2019 for lunch buffet @ $9.99, arrived around 12:30 and there was quite a few people in for the lunch buffet, we were seated immediately and advised that we can go and help ourselves to the buffet even for lunch I was surprised at the large variety of food they offered, however when or if I go to a buffet I want my food to be hot, but that was not the case with this buffet, the food was cold and the heat was not distributing throughout the food pans and on my second round I had be strategic and grab food from the bottom of the pans and I hated to do that was the bottom was the only place the food was hot, the food was good plentiful and nice flavors for the entrees they offer from the Fish, Poultry, Beef, Sushi, Vegetables, Salads, Desserts, but I have to say that I have also had better. There is one pet peeve I have when I go to buffets, please don't stand around me staring at me as I dish up my food, I was so annoyed by this I ended up just finishing up what I had on my plate and called it a day we asked for the check left out tip and made our exit. I don't know if I'll be back there are so many other Chinese buffets so I'm sure I'll be fine.

Had dinner there tonight around 8:30 PM. Service was very good. Sadly the majority of the hot foods were cold or luke warm. Only the soup was actually hot. As for food quality and taste I did manage to find 3 tasty items. The majority of food was fillers and some looking bad or very undesirable. Once I arrived there I remembered my previous visit a few years ago had gone badly basically the same thing and me thinking why come here when I know of other buffets that are much better. I call the places exactly as I see them with no favor or disregard. My take on this one is they need improvement. 2 visits years apart and the same dishes and cheap Chinese ice cream as before. Basically body filler. The Davie area is overflowing with choices. This is one I will pass on next time. Forgot to mention the ice cream scoops had mildew and slime on them. Maybe the inspectors should look at this next time there. I would not use it and used a spoon to scoop instead. It seems they never get washed and if it's like that with other items too this is a recipe for a lawsuit. So sad to have to report all of this. :(

Lunch is $9.99 on weekdays, but they charged me $12.71. I don't know if it was deliberate or not but they had the nerve to beg me for a tip afterwards. I got no apology either. The food was not worth $10, maybe $7. I've been to $8 buffets and they're all a better taste than this one. I was upset they had no ice cream.

Food was greasy and tasted like salt and that's it, no flavor. The place feels like you time traveled to the 70s maybe because of the silverware and decoration that has probably been there since, or maybe because there's no data signal (at least for T-Mobile) and no Wi-Fi. Bad food and nothing to distract you from it. Second star is for the service, the waitress was really nice.

The food here wasn’t the greatest. I wasn’t bad as in spoiled but tasted old. The stone crabs & snow crab legs were dried out. Other items on the buffet looked dry as well, as if sitting on the warmer too long. Sushi so so. Not bad but not a fresh taste. The man seating people was quiet but very helpful . The wait staff seemed indifferent I won’t be returning because of the food.

Good selection of great tasting food. Unfortunately they have problems maintaining hot foods at the proper temperature. We ate at the buffet about 6 weeks ago and the hot foods were just lukewarm. Tonight we thought we would give them another chance but alas, the hot foods again were not hot. The food is good and I would have awarded them 4 stars if the food was hot. We like hot foods to be hot so we won't be going back. (I think they may have solid bottom steam table pans below the pans with the food. They should be perforated to allow steam to reach the bottom of the food pans... just sayin)

Dinner buffet is $19 per person. There is no way it's worth that price. The food was all the wrong temperature. Hot foods at room temp, ice cream was melted. Food slots looked dirty. The ice cream bin looked moldy actually which I didn't notice until after my kids got ice cream). No one was paying attention to our drinks for refills. The only thing worth tipping is drink service imo at a buffet, so it should be good. Definitely never coming back here.

Closed. The whole shopping center where this place is located is closed. Parking lot fenced off. Completely closed.

Terrible food the worst fried rice ever. Chicken doesn't look feel or taste like chicken.

E Dragon Gourmet it was really a treat again I only gave it one star and needs to be 5 I was brought there by a good friend of mine who is Chinese and let me tell you if a Chinese person brings you to a Chinese restaurant you know the food is good all you can eat and everything is delicious

Food was disgusting, me and my wife made the mistake to go there and waste the money stay away from this place! Remember quality is more important than quantity

Host took a phone call while he was seating me and didn't tell me that he sat me at a specific table. I had to assume because he dropped a piece of paper on the table. Most hot food was ice cold. Sushi was old and stale. Found a long blonde hair in the custard bun and told the staff. After making excuses, the host finally took my soda off the tab. $2 off for finding hair in my food. Never going back.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE This place is horrible no flavour dry food small variety mildew on the ceiling tiles stained floors tables were chipped up and missing pieces off the top of the table sticky floors and they wanna charge $15.98 FOR WHAT!!! Waitresses are not friendly at all. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN NOT WORTH IT. The seafood was NASTY. I could go on and on but I'll stop here

I was looking for a good buffet stumbled across this one only to find the food was horrible. Nothing was properly cooked certain things were very greasy other things or soggy and overcooked would not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

It was absolutely horrible. The service was bad and the experience was bad. Really rude and the environment was trashy. The plates were dirty. It had specs of white stuff all over which means they did not wash it right. I've been to many buffets and by far this is one of the worst I've ever been to in my opinion. Not worth the money at all! Too expensive for a cheap place like that.

As a frequent customer, weve always been treated well. Tonight was horrible! We walked in at 9:09pm, and the lil china manis rushing us in telling us we have 40 minutes to eat because they close at 10. Then we r picking our table and again hes rushing us. We keepnl to ourselves. Then as gus moves his first plate to his left, the waitress come very rudely and says nonono give to me, in a very rude way. So gus l9oks at me and i say to him "top shall reflect ". So our tab was $44.50. I scratched out tip line and wrote $44.50. On a napkin i wrote " As a frequent customer tonight from the lil china man to our waitress, we were treated very rudely. So my TIP is " Be polite to all your patrons, because of them you have a job" She kept looking at the receipt, i can only imagine when someone who knows how to read english translates my TIP.😊 IM A GOOD TIPPER BUT NOT WHEN POOR SERVICE IS GIVEN. I will not come here again.

Food is not fresh maybe some I asked one of the sushi chefs if he can make me a cooked sushi roll and he said there is some displayed yes there was but cold and old he ended up making the roll I asked but with attitude like it was a really big problem

Lettuce tasted very old, items that were supposed to be kept cold (fruit, cottage cheese, desserts) were instead at room temperature. They charged me a dinner price instead of lunch even though the receipt said 3:15pm and dinner doesn't start until 3:30pm. They charged my daughter an adult price even though she's a child because she's over 5ft tall. Will never step foot in this place again.

Extremely dirty. The restaurant floor îs soaking wet the ceiling is full of mold. We are afraid to eat the food. If serving room looks like that imagine the kitchen. Better find another restaurant

Been there twice, food was decent the 1st time but we saw a roach with the food and left, the second time the food was worse, price went up to $20pp with a drink and I found a bug in my food while eating, so never again. Despite the warning if you still want to eat there be very careful.

Ehhh, all I have to say is it wasn't a pleasent experience... the food was cold and not appetizing. They didn't do a good job informing the customers about price changes, making me wish the mexican place next door was open. It wasn't worth the money.

Currently sitting in the restaurant and I must say it’s as not what I expected. The first item I took up was cold! Plus there wasn’t a good selection of foods to choose from. Most of the trays were empty and the food was cold. What I did get to eat wasn’t bad but it wasn’t hot as the same time. They definitely need to go back to the drawing board with the food selection and how hot the food is. Paying 16$ for food that is cold is not okay! Wouldn’t be coming back to this establishment. Very disappointed and the website and reviews were misleading.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. And that's too bad,because the food is Amazing, but I'm defenetely NOT going back. We went there once and had a bad experience with waitresses not bringing our drinks and bad manners. We decided to give them a second chance last night but we had a terrible experience with nasty waitress AND manager in a very confusing episode regarding tip. I always take my family there when they come in town but not anymore

I’ve eaten here before but this experience was bad. I went on a Thursday for dinner. The food was all cold, except for the soup which had no flavor (wonton, and egg drop) the dimsum was old, and had little to no flavor. There might have been a few items that some people would say were acceptable, but I didn’t find any. Will not be going back until i start to see some improvements.

Horrible, I had to ask for a drink and there was a dead bug in it. Gnats flying over the salad bar. The severs where terrible no apology what so ever for the bug in the cup the manger basically said I well you got another one. The crab legs where on ice and the butter tasted horrible. To top it off when we where done i seen the waitress take the crab legs we didnt eat back to the kitchen. I would never go there again and I suggest you don't either.

Food was old. As if it has been sitting out all day the seafood was not kept cold properly the oysters smelled bad and you know the last thing you want is some bad Seafood. Truly a shame been going to this place for years. I understand it's a waste of throw the stuff out and it's expensive but the quality of your food's gone down so far I'll never go back.

RUNNNN, this was by far the worst lowest quality buffet I have ever been too. The food quality is very very low, both myself and my wife felt immediately sick. The restaurant was also very dirty floors were sticky, and the plates were grimey. Go to shinju down the street they are about 10% more expensive and over 9000X better.

Been to this place several times Decided to bring my cousins from out of town here talked about this place is so much to them they probably got tired of hearing about it. It was very disappointed and I was extremely embarrassed. The food was cold. It was cold that my cousins even asked the waitress to warm up their food for them. Of course they had an attitude.

Kenny G was playing as I walked in and I thought I should turn around right then. Food was disappointing and just warm...not hot. Cold crab legs and everything is salty as hell. I feel confident I have high blood pressure after eating here. Never again.

I had dinner on Sunday night with my family at the restaurant the food conditions seemed old, the sushi was dry/not fresh and $70.00 for 3 adults & 1 kid. Good reasons for never go back there again.

Food was way overpriced for the quality. The Sushi had very little fish/ shrimp if any at all. I must say the coconut shrimp and New York steak pieces were ok. I drank all off my water then found the cup had mold on the bottom. Asked my waitress to call a manager, she had no clue what I was saying. Finally some one came over who spoke English, I showed them the cup that I had just drank out of and he did everything to try to convince me that it was not mold, even after I scrapped it out with a fork. I was disgusted. I took a picture but have no idea how to post it. Was not looking for free food but at a bare minimum they should of offered some discount. In short I will never go back not do I recommend this place to anyone. I also add a note, that in my opinion the staff works there with great fear from what I saw when I asked to see a supervisor.

Comida horrible las ostras viejas sabiendo q eso se tiene que cambiar de vez en cuando pq eso es peligroso es marisco y puede uno envenenarse. Apurados en cobrar y uno sentado en la mesa reposando 2 veces le dije q todavia hombe no asi uno no puede ir a comer muy insatisfecho
