Coming from new york my mom suggested this place. This place is so lovely, nice quiet intimate setting. The staff is so attentive, very upbeat attitude so welcoming. The food was a 10/10 everything was fresh and the wait was not long which I appreciated haitian food can take a bit. Seasoned well we ordered a whole platter called fanm jacmel enough for party of 3 and there was still food left, one of the best pikliz ive ever had. Very well served. Please come to NY guys!!!!

Spectacular experience! The waitress did an amazing job—very friendly, fast service, respectful, and truly professional. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Fabiola. She is incredibly sweet, friendly, and professional—a true people person. And the food? Absolutely unbelievable. This isn’t my first time enjoying her food, but I finally had the chance to stop by, and it was well worth it. Overall, service was 10/10. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Haitian food.

I first heard about Sak Pase Kitchen from @therealniamoore on Instagram and was pleasantly surprised to learn it was only about 10 minutes from me, straight down Broward Boulevard. I visited on New Year’s Day with the intention of ordering soup joumou, but after seeing someone else’s absolutely amazing plate of food, I couldn’t resist adding more to my order. I decided on diri djon djon and Haitian griot, and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The griot was tender and well-seasoned, and the diri djon djon was rich and delicious. The food was truly amazing and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend Sak Pase Kitchen to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Haitian food.

The food was excellent and you get a big amount of food! They just need to work on service. We were asked to look up the menu through the website or barcode. Menu's should be available in house. The staff is nice but nobody stays consistently at the front desk. It was a little busy so they appeared to be overwhelmed. I will definitely go back.

We really were looking forward to this experience. Came for lunch from miami. Wanted to see what all the hype was about. We came on a Monday, and got disappointed because it wasn’t what it was painted out to be. Couldn’t scan the menu so we had to use our phones and go online and look at the menu because the Lady who was there working by herself, didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand what we were asking.The food wasn’t fresh tasted like leftovers. Griot should be melting in your mouth and it was very tough and hard so was the chicken. I truly believe in paying for what you want, but I really feel like we just gave away free money. We ended up taking it to go, and throwing it in the trash. But hey you never know until you try. The presentation was nice, but the taste was not fresh. We tried it but won’t be returning ☹️.

I really wanted to love this place. The food itself is good, but unfortunately the service completely overshadows the experience. They appear extremely overwhelmed, and it shows at every step. Orders are taken via text message, phone, and in person, but there is no clear system to manage them. When you walk in, there’s visible confusion—no names are taken for orders, no order numbers, and staff are often unsure which food belongs to which customer. It quickly becomes a disorganized and frustrating experience. On top of that, orders are frequently incorrect or missing items, which has happened more than once. When you’re already waiting, it’s frustrating to discover parts of your order didn’t make it into the bag. Pricing is another issue. Some items are significantly overpriced for the portion size. For example, I ordered the shrimp complete for $25 and received five very small shrimp (literally dime-sized). That price-to-portion ratio is hard to justify. There’s potential here because the food has flavor, but until they streamline their ordering process, improve accuracy, and reassess pricing, it’s hard to recommend.

I saw many positive reviews about the food, but my personal experience was very disappointing. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. I ordered a fish dish that arrived burnt and overly salty, to the point that I couldn’t eat it. It felt like a waste of both my time and money. Given the high prices, I expected better flavor and preparation. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
