Heather was my server and she made me feel very at home. Very attentive and great attitude, food was perf! Ask for Heather if you want to experience more than just the food!
I came to have a quick dinner with my twin boys. They are very active by the way! Anyways Ian our server was AMAZING!! He was patient with myself and kids. Our food came out fast. Ian became extremely busy which held up us trying to pay our bill! He apologized and was Genuinely AWESOME! I will return just to have him as my waiter again!!
The vibes are immaculate. Ian was the greatest server. Attentive, great recommendations, and funny! This man deserves a raise. We live 4 hours away and will definitely visit again and request him as our server.
My mother is in the nursing home and for a tree. I took her to Perkins for lunch and it was fabulous! The service was superb, the food was hot and was brought out quickly to us. The desserts are wonderful. Strongly recommend.
Almost always order fish and chips. And pie! So tasty evert time! Food is delicious, service is quick and fantastic. Their pies are some of the best taste whise and leave me satisfied! I always fight myself to not over eat them 🤣 Atmosphere was great but I always order to go so can not give an honest full review on inside Atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
I'm a newcomer to New York from Memphis and thought I'd have to wait to go home to eat at Perkins again. So excited when I found one near me. Great food, great place, as usual. Happy girl!
Had dinner Sunday night Lexi was awesome, attentive, helpful & a pleasure to meet! The shrimp skillet was unbelievably delicious! We had the apple pie w caramel. It was the best ever that we bought a pie to bring home. The next morning before we left we had breakfast again treated very well, & food was delicious again this time we left with 6 muffins. At Buy 3 get 3 why not!
The food was good with hearty portions. Staff was kind and friendly. And the food came out quite fast.💨
Busy Sunday morning but we were greeted and seated fairly quickly. Our server was very kind and got all of our orders, including special requests, correct. The food took a little while, but again it was busy so very understandable, nothing extreme. It was all hot and delicious. Will be back!
Excellent food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the pancakes and the smoked bacon, fantastic! The service was also amazing. The only thing is that it took quite some time to get out party seated even though a whole section was empty. Someone was probably on break or something. Not a big deal tho.
We were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and plentiful. And, the service was outstanding! A special shout-out to our server, Paul B., who has the customer service thing down to perfection! He was attentive and incredibly polite, even while the restaurant was super busy. I would recommend this Perkins, and I hope you’re lucky enough to have Paul as your server!
Fast like I needed bacon was perfectly crispy got dd here a few times food was good or great well done.
Great selection, large portions, specials, food cooked correctly, salads fresh.
Dominic did an amazing job. 12 ppl and did not miss a beat. Food was delicious.
This is always feels like home to me. It’s the fond memories of going with my grandmother and the best pancakes still to this day.
Food was great, for what it is. Everything was cooked to order, hot, and tasty. We just had appetizers and sandwiches. My son loved the burger with the fried egg. Service and staff were truly excellent though. The fifth star in this rating is all them! The manager was very attentive and funny, our food came out faster than we could've imagined, and service was great. I think we were the last people served, but you wouldn't have known it by the attentiveness of the staff.
Best pie I have ever ate. Trinity was a great server, and brought me the pie. 10/10, will definitely revisit next time I am in Plattsburgh.
We had a family brunch of 8 and the waiter Ian was amazing. He was very attentive and made sure we were all set and needed nothing! He was incredible and by far made this our favorite visit. Definitely will come back for great food and service.
Good food! Fast and friendly service!
Moderate wait time and friendly staff around noon on a Sunday are all anyone can ask for these days but we got lucky and after an accommodation to change seating, ended up with Ian as our waiter and delicious meals for everyone. Not only was he incredibly helpful with the drink menu, his personality and jokes were epic. He is the type of employee anyone should be glad to have; between keeping guests entertained during waits and his overall friendly demeanor, he was a breath of fresh air in an ordinarily stressful dining time when places are busy. Thank you!
This is a no-frills, good home-style food and GREAT pie place. It is exactly what I expect it to be and I have never been disappointed. From Florida to New York, I have never had anything that wasn't well prepared, pleasantly served and priced reasonably. I wish they'd expand to Massachusetts! The lemon meringue pie is delicious!!!!!
Amazing food!! Great service, friendly staff and you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We visited mid December. We will definitely be back! We got the breakfast burger and the salmon to go, with some cinnamon rolls and eclairs. Everything was just absolutely amazing. The bun on the burger was sweet and tender, beef patty and egg cooked just perfect. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The salmon was cooked just right. Roasted vegetables were tasty. And the pastries... just wow. The staff was very polite and genuinely friendly!
The gentleman at the front gave excellent customer service. He deserves all the happiness in the world. #bump #his #pay
Not too expensive and the food is great! I have come here several times every year and it never disappoints! The combo deals and the promotions are great too, especially in this economy. I'll keep coming here!
I had such a lovely experience at Perkins today, all thanks to our wonderful server, Renee. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome and cared for. She has the kindest presence the kind of warmth that instantly reminds you of being around your grandmother. Renee was attentive without ever being overbearing. She took the time to chat with us, made sure we had everything we needed, and spoke with such genuine kindness that it completely brightened my day. You can tell she truly loves what she does and treats every guest as if they’re part of her own family. In a world where good service can sometimes feel rushed or robotic, Renee stands out as a reminder of what hospitality is really about: warmth, care, and a personal touch. Perkins is so lucky to have someone like her she turned a simple meal into such a heartwarming experience. If you ever come by, I really hope you get to be served by Renee. She’s an absolute gem and made my visit unforgettable.
first time eating there was today and it was great. friendly waiter, large variety of both breakfast and lunch. next time i pass by Plattsburgh again im definitely returning. love from Quebec

Although we haven't eaten a meal here, we have in the past couple of months discovered how amazing their baked goods are! I mean AMAZING!! We had originally bought a charity raffle ticket and got an apple pie from here.. 2 of us finished a whole pie in a matter of 2 ½ days, a week later bought a second for a dinner we were invited to and a month later we were buying our 3rd apple pie to have for Christmas dessert. Next, the cinnamon rolls, muffins and cookies are huge and everything we have tried has been better than expected. The cinnamon rolls typically wouldn't be something I'd order, being so large they tend to be dry but they are perfect! Their icing has recently changed and I must say, for the better! It's whipped and creamy and I could eat that alone by the spoon. The muffins, hands down best muffins I've ever had! They're moist and baked to perfection, favorite of all is the orange cranberry ones but blueberry, apple cinnamon and lemon poppy seed have been as equally yummy! My mom dropped off some peanut butter pie to try and some of the individual lemon raspberry cakes, as delicious and beautiful as it was I was convinced I was eating the whole thing alone, my boyfriend came along and had some too! It was definitely sharable! (Or not 🤤) The pie was also delicious! The staff is always friendly when we stop and if the sweets are this good I can't wait to try the menu!
Perkins has always been one of my favorite restaurants; have made two visits on my business trip; Ordered Western Omelette with pancakes, and food was excellent; Free slice of pie with entrees on Mondays; Carmel Apple pie 🥧 is absolutely delicious; Heather and Gabby (servers) were very polite and friendly;
Friday mid morning and diner was a little busy already. First time at this location and will certainly go back. Servers are friendly and efficient. Food was good and well prepared, and prices were not bad at all. We really liked their pancakes and the apple pie (even though it was a very small slice). Coffee was fresh and tasty. Do give it a try next time you’re in Plattsburgh 👍🏻
I've never been to a Perkins establishment before, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Fabulous choices on the menu. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Food was delicious! Served hot and fresh! Pies in the front counter looked absolutely amazing. No complaints at all. Thanks! We will be returning.
Staff were efficient and pleasant. Meal preparation time was average. Reuben sandwich was tasty, but I expected a larger portion. Waffles were excellent but alas, no more strawberry syrup 😦. Restaurant was practically empty. Makes me wonder as we arrived after attending a nearby, large school recital and many other restaurants appeared busy.
They seem to be having difficulty with cooks on several of our last visits. The blueberry pancakes were raw in the center and had to go back to the kitchen. Food is not hot across the board. Some may be Luke warm while other things can be cold. We will not go back for awhile. They make good on our food but we keep hoping the chef will do better.
Virtually no wait for a table. Other patrons we're at least 6 feet from us. Great Friendly Attentive Service!! The food was good. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because about 15 minutes after we left I became insatiably thirsty. I hadn't realized there was so much salt when I was eating. But after leaving I could feel it in my mouth. As a member of the "Over 55" set I pay way more attention to salt intake these days!! Perkins might want to revisit their recipes.
Great food at a fair price, service was good. It was crowded during rush-hour, there was some waiting time to get seated, which is no big deal. I would definitely recommend for a casual meal, just be aware it might be at full capacity during the weekend.
Overall the food was good. I was disappointed in the potato pancakes as I wasn't expecting to only taste scallions and not any potato. Everything else was fine. The pies were very rich so we had a snack for the next day as well.
Perkins is usually a good choice! Our server was kind and the kitchen was accommodating to our requests. They only have black tea, and the eggs had no flavor somehow, but overall it was a decent enough experience!
I had never been to this place before, but I hadn't even heard of it, to be honest. The atmosphere was nothing to write home about, but the food was actually pretty decent. What really made the experience enjoyable was the staff. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, cracking jokes and keeping the mood light, which made a big difference. Oddly enough, I usually snap pictures and do the whole food-photo thing, but this time, I didn’t even do it, though the experience was worth remembering. The prices were also very reasonable, especially given how expensive things are these days. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely give it another shot.
Service depends who you get. Unfortunately we got 1 that needed to be flagged down numerous of times. Still its conveniently located on rt 3 in plattsburgh ny. Good food good atmosphere. Not to shabby on the prices.
I was here on 4/14/25 and was excited to have Perkins breakfast for dinner like I remember from my childhood. I was greeted by a friendly young man who promptly showed me to a booth. I then waited for my server long enough to consider leaving. However, once she arrived, service from there on was fast and courteous. As for the food, Perkins, you did my memory justice. My French Toast was delicious, bacon was hot and crispy, and my eggs were done perfectly. Even your playlist took me back to the early 90s! Thank you.
Nice place for breakfast 🍳 Our current chain restaurant ranking is as follows: 1. Cracker barrel 2. Ihop 3. Perkins 4. Dennys We didn’t try the baked goods! They looked good 😊 our favourite item was the sausage from hearty man combo. We fought for the last piece 😅😂 Biscuit had an aftertaste for me, but not my wife.
Normally a place we enjoy, and perhaps they were just having a bad day, but on my most recent visit, no server came to take out order or get us drinks until I waived over an employee that looked to be checking over a room. We had waited nearly 15 minutes without being acknowledged. Food took much longer than normal to arrive.
Great food. Service is lacking. One time the waitress decided my grandson didn't need the drink or cookie that came with his meal. Then she threw away or to go order.
Went for lunch, and had the turkey dinner. Very peppery turkey, Stove Top Stuffing-type stuffing, mashed potatoes and a very bland salad. I guess cranberry sauce is considered a side, because there was none. The turkey pieces were little, with the stuffing in between them. The potatoes were ok, but the obviously canned gravy was overly salty. The whole experience was a disappointment for the price.
Food items that were forgotten the first time were brought out cold, refills on soda don't appear to be a thing, and there's at least one mouse running around in the dining area.
Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Food was so/so. The green beans were mushy and not very tasty. The fish was ok. Your typical family restaurant. Comparable to Eat n' Park/Denny's.
We spent a week at the comfort inn so we went to Perkins for a few meals. Waitstaff was very good as they were unstaffed. The food was a different story. Cold food, burnt food, undercooked food…Too bad because once upon a time the quality was good.
There were signs warning that there might be longer than usual waits due to the very active flu season hitting the staff. I didn't notice any delays. The manager, host, and waitress did a fantastic job keeping up with orders and tending to diners. The food was where things weren't as great. The country (cream) gravy lacked pepper. Potatoes were cooked, but not crispy. Over easy eggs were cooked hard. The hollandaise tasted more like cheddar cheese sauce. We assume it's that the kitchen staff is where there's a shortage? We'd heard breakfasts were awesome here, but it wasn't our experience. The staff get high marks, however, as they were friendly and attentive.
The hostesses who greeted us were very rude. We were in town for a reunion and in the past had been given a special room for breakfast. (Which was 5 years ago). It seemed like some renovations had been made so there was no longer a large area to accommodate our group. (That is understandable). However, there was no need for such an abrupt and rude greeting. It seemed that she was trying not to accommodate us as a punishment for even assuming we could eat there. Insisting we be placed at small tables across the restaurant from each other. We were denied any request to have tables in the same general area. That was very disappointing. In the end we had coffee which was good and our tables server was very nice and even seemed embarrassed by our treatment . When more of our group arrived and were treated with the same disrespect we all left opting to eat at a small locally owned restaurant that was willing to accommodate.
Upon entering this restaurant the first thing we saw was a hostess wearing a belly shirt and blue jeans. There was another host that was wearing a baggy hooded sweatshirt without any indication that he worked there. We weren't sure who the front end staff were because none of them were wearing any indication of their employment at the restaurant. The waitress was nice but had to come back ten minutes after taking our order to verify if what she wrote down was correct. There were other patrons seated two tables away from us that had their dogs with them, which I am almost completely sure is a health code violation. I have never written a review on a restaurant before I was finished eating there but I had to share my initial experience here. Maybe the health department will show up while I'm here. UPDATE: Food was good, but didn't receive all of my order at the same time. The waitress also failed to bring me a refill of my drink.
We are a family of 2 adults, 2 kids that are 4 and 5. Yesterday was very rough for us at this restaurant. There was not enough staff on for the level of business for a late breakfast early brunch shift. You could tell that the service was chaotic and stressful for the employees. That stress then permeated throughout the restaurant. It made waiting for your seat, cashing out and food ticket times very long. My food was fine but pancakes were cold. During the 1.5 hours we were there there was only one Hostess who was both seating people and cashing customers out. We has to wait 20 minutes to get our check and cash out. Will not return anytime soon.
Service was okay she was cheerful and polite. They food was not the best. Very typical of a chain dinner. The menu was big lots of options. They do not poach eggs so not a really eggs Benedict. It's a fired egg basted. Then my blt....the bacon was old. Not fresh fried and there was a short red beard hair in my food. I paid and tipped at 20% she was a good waiter. Then informed the head waiter he apologized offered to comp the meal. I told him no happy to pay just please tell the staff they need to do better. Not written off yet...clean it up could be amazing.
We had an issue with service a year ago. We decided to give them another try a year later. The waitress was very nice. Professional, friendly, etc. But, it took 45 minutes to get a basic breakfast. Also, the price was high. We did get a 20% discount for the meal. We won't be back.
On 12/5 at 9:30 am I went in for breakfast and ordered the build a breakfast. I asked for real maple syrup for my pancakes and server said "with an extra charge which is common. OK but didnt say how much it was . It is usually between $2 and 3$. OK but upon checking out she had added 3.99 to the bill for the syrup and a fee of .99 for celery. I told the cashier I didn't have celery only breakfast. He said the celery charge was for extra cost of syrup. I told him I have already been charged for it and wanted .99 taken off the bill. He told me "unfortunately" he couldn't do that and insisted upon the full bill. The 3.99 charge for 4 Tbs was already about twice the going amount for it. and said that's the way it is. I told him I would never be back and tell everyone to watch for hidden charges here. He didn't care. Its only .99 but its the idea of it. The food however was good, well prepared and served. I won't be back. He lost a customer over his attitude about a .99 charge for celery which I didn't order or receive.
We got a room at the hotel and went to Perkins for dinner we sat for over 45 minutes waiting for our order. My kids got so hungry that they ended up leaving the restaurant and getting vending machine snacks while I sat and waited for our food. I packed what we ordered in to go boxes and was left sitting at the table with my bill and was then treated very rudely by the hostess when asking for silverware and sauces to go. We spent over $100 on a cold microwaved meal
Really disapointed with that place. When I came in I told my bf if its good I am going to buy a pie or something at the bakery. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the good and fast service. It is expensive for what you get. Only 2 slice of bacon so tiny and thin like a chips. No fruits or potato. No real butter, false sirup. For 15.49 with the waffle plate I was hopping for something better. We left telling to ourselve last time here and was a wrong choice to come here. And without buying any bakeries.
The portions were small based on how much the costs were. The food wasnt the highest quality either. If the costs were say, 40% less than what they charged considering the small portion sizes it would make sense but it really isnt worth it to go here based on the lack of value you get. The place was pretty cold inside too, which I have to say was an unusual thing. I havent been to a restaurant where you need to wear several layers of clothing to stay warm. I wouldnt go back based on this combination of experiences. There are several other options locally that serve better quality food for less cost. Frankly you’ll get a better meal (at 1/2the pricetag) going to Denny’s than this place!
Traveling & this place was recommended. (Told it was good & "high class" Questioning our friendship now 🤭) Was greeted & seated promptly. Our server, Hailey, was slow to our table but no fault of hers as she appeared to be the only server. At least she's the only one I saw. So that meant food was slow, but again, no fault of Hailey. The food was, well, I've had worse.......just not often & I can not remember when was the last time. I had garlic salmon w/garlic mashed potatoes & grilled asparagus. Wife had fish & chips substitute fries with garlic mashed potatoes. My salmon was very dry. Seemed like microwaved frozen salmon. And for it being "garlic" flavored, there was absolutely no flavor. The wife's fish was overdone as well with burnt batter. And you could tell the cooking oil in the deerp fryer needed changing based on the batter, too. Very dark brown. The rest of the food was OK. Had to wait at checkout as that person was away from the counter & once he got there, he had to track down our bill as it was not left with us. Again, Hailey was swamped, so it was not her fault. I would have said something about the food & service, but no one ever asked me. Figured they didn't care about how they did. Maybe they were having a bad night because they were understaffed & stressed from it. I just know I won't be go back next time I'm visiting the area. Nor will I recommend this restaurant.
Change the times of opening and closing on your website BEFORE up actually close hours, hours earlier. Walked miles to do errands with last stop to be first fluids and food of my day. 13 thumbs down for this. I hope someone in management central is reprimanded for this. Very irresponsible!
Waited 25 mins for 2 even if half of the restaurant was empty. Service was long, around 30 mins to get my plate, and the servicw no polite at all. Less than 10mins after receiving my plate, that i havent finish yet, the waitress came up with the bill to ask us to leave so other people can take our place. Realy poor portion and quality for the price.
The waiter was fine and helpful. We saw mice running in the restaurant just before we got our meal. It made us totally disgusted however we stayed because we were hungry. Reported the mice to two people and while they were embarrassed they did nothing at all. Should have left. Got our omelettes and they were undercooked. The mushrooms were not cooked at all and placed on top. The toast was not even warm. Anyways will not be returning.
My wife and I have been going to this restaurant once a month from Montreal Canada. Yesterday October 28,2024, was the worst experience we have ever had. First it took 40 minutes to get our food after we ordered. It arrived stone cold, the gravy had started to solidify. The waitress was overworked, the restaurant was filthy, the bathroom discussing. To say the least we will never go back .
Came in at 7:40 , doors said they were closing early at 8pm. We had drove 1 hour to come so we came in anyways . The lady at the cash rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed . Told us one minute then went to the back swearing. She came back after a few minutes and sat us. When we sat down she slammed our utensils and we were sat rite by the kitchen where we could clearly hear her go to the back and complain that she got customers. Food was good but horrible service and will absolutely noT make the drive again. The male that served us was chipper and had a good attitude (the young lady in a white sweater. )
Ate there last night. Dreadful! Took over 40 minutes, cold eggs, wrong kind of steak, who orders chicken fried w/ eggs. My pot roast was drowning in gravy, tasted like left overs! Just awful!
We had just been seated when we saw a mouse run across the dining room. We quietly told our server and she said "yeah, we know, we're going to take care of it." Then she bizarrely asked us "was it at least cute?". We tried to tough it out when we saw another mouse run across the dining room. After that I decided nothing I rated this place as far as food goes will matter anyway and we left.
Worst service ever! Alyssa took an exception to us because she only had one server and wouldn't seat us. Our server, Ian, came as close as possible to being so rude we nearly called him on it. Normally we tip 20% - this time, we didn't tip one penny. I wouldn't eat at this Perkins again, and I would NOT recommend it! Service = tip. I don't care if you're working your way through school or Grandma needs an operation. If you can't fake a smile, be pleasant and polite, then don't take the job.
I originally wasn't going to say anything, but the overall experience my family had at the Perkins in Plattsburgh NY was so overwhelmingly bad that I decided I had to say something in the hopes that maybe it will make a difference in the future. Nothing about this visit went well (except that the manager adjusted our bill). Upon entry, it was evident the place hadn't been maintained or cleaned very well. There were stains and marks and holes on the walls and the windows were dirty with handprints. The hostess (who in turns out was the manager) didn't greet us and just sat us without a word except to ask how many in our party. Our server also didn't greet us and had the personality of wet cardboard. He was too quiet, you could barely understand him and while he did get the order correct, he brought one of my daughters the wrong drink and then forgot to bring one of the appetizers we ordered until halfway through us finishing our entrees. But the worst part of our experience was the food. One of the apps (cheese sticks) was OK. My wife and I ordered two seafood dishes that should have been flavorful and even a little zesty but they were incredibly bland. Our fries were meh at best and her asparagus was too chewy and limp. The worst was our children's dishes. they ordered chicken tenders with fries and their tenders were extremely overcooked to the point that my kids couldn't eat them. To be fair, when I complained to the manager, she did take their entrees off the final bill and offered to cook us fresh food but we declined in the interest of time. The other app which was a strawberry powdered donuty concoction was just a gooey limp tasteless mess. And the vibe I got from the whole experience there is that noone really seemed to care and were just going through the motions. This is all a shame to me as I've eaten at Perkins in the past and quite enjoyed the meal. Here's hoping this location gets their act together.
Waited for our server to come for 20 minutes and NOONE EVER CAME! We went to the front to pay for the coffee and orange juice and server said noone ever told her thats was our table! Very very disappointed! Never coming here again!
Server Nasty… gave us visible dirty coffee mugs Came and tossed creamer on our table Rude and gave off racist vibes From the moment we walked in. Will not visit again and will not recommend anyone to visit this establishment. Here to visit Daughter at college and is displeased
We waited over an hour for our food 2 cheeseburgers,a bowl of soup and an order of pancakes. Then they brought out 3 meals saying the 4th was coming right out 20 mins later they still had not brought it I complained ,it was then brought out . That dinner also received a pice of pie which they never brought . We inquired about it and had another 10 min wait to receive a simple piece of pie . I will not be returning they do not treat their customers very well.
My friends and i came in for lunch. There were empty booths and tables. The manager was rude told us we would have to wait on the bench. When were seated it was a half hour before we got a waitress. When we received the food it was cold and the French Fries were limp. When we went to pay the bill the menu had a fish sandwich for 4.99 when we went to pay the bill was different. Again the manager made it out i was lair. Ive eaten there multiple times and never experience that level of service. We were in at 12:30 and finally were seated at 1pm. I wouldnt recommend this Perkins in Plattsburgh ny again.
It was not to my expectations. My Skillet dinner was not hot, it tasted like the pan. The other person had eggs. That did not taste like eggs. The third meal was not what we ordered. Took too long to get cold food. It was not busy either. It's off my list of places to eat in Plattsburgh.
We waited for 25 minutes for a seat for 2, then after sitting with no interaction with a waitress for 30 min the host brought us some coffee. We ordered everything at once when we finally saw our waitress and 45 min later we got our food. I asked to sub bacon for corn beef hash and she told me that would be an extra charge of $4 for sub one of the meats. The meals came cold, tasted sour, and made us both very sick after. I didn’t touch my meal, as one bite was not good. I was going to wait to ask the waitress to take it back and warm it or something, but she never returned to our table. After sitting with both our full plates of meals pushed to the end of the table for some time, the host came back again and asked if we wanted boxes. We told him that both meals were horrible and cold. All he did was hand us a $65 check and take our plates away. Never again will I go to a Perkins.
We were there at about 915. We had a 15 to 20 minute wait to be seated. We looked at a menu before being seated. When we were seated the waitress took quite a while before she approached us to just get beverage orders which came pretty quickly. We ordered when she brought the beverages and an hour and 10 minutes later we received our food. Two of the 3 orders were not right. Long wait, horrible service. Waitress was obviously new she only had a couple of tables and did not know what she was doing. Food was ok but not worth the wait time.
burger is cold and dry, the fries are worse quality than macdonalds. only good thing are their deserts.
Long wait to be seated, No one at front (hostess desk), this is a continual problem. The new staff is totally useless, doesn't come back to check on you. Service is very slow. food has gone downhill. Takes forever to get your check, there again, no one up front to take check you out. Seems like ALL the staff is hiding in the kitchen. There is one waitress (usually colored hair) no pride in how she dresses, ripped pants, doesn't follow up with the customers.
First time there, waited outside bathroom for a family to come out. They left the bathroom disgusting. Not the way to start breakfast. Usual loud restaurant dive with hardly any employees and a manager full of excuses. Second time there (ugh) loud bar dive atmosphere, 45 min wait, no service at table 20 minutes, no money from our pockets. Very old place , might have been nice once. Great dive for unwitting tourists.
Very sour experience , was enjoying my breakfast until a hair was underneath my hash browns. Totally unacceptable, I’ll say as soon as you come in was very friendly and welcoming. The server was very nice. The space and atmosphere was very friendly and warm. Love the space and energy, but the food was cold very greasy and undercooked. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone, based on the hair that was hard to ignore I couldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Left me a bittersweet experience.
