The food here is very great. Never knew that I would find such a great place to eat a hamburger, frito pie. This is a great place and the staff are super kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone even if your just passing bye.

Little hole in the wall. I have driven by this place many times and it typically has a lot of cars around it. I had the manager special 6 steak fingers, fries, and a drink. All for 12 bucks. The food came out quick and was delicious. I will be back cause I definitely want to try the burgers.

An amazing hidden gem that has been around for over 20 years now, after frequenting the place since its humble beginnings it’s easy to see how and why it’s stayed strong for all these years. The hospitality and food remains excellent no matter how much time has passed. It’s a true staple to the area with its one of a kind classic vintage aesthetic that perfectly compliments some of the best American food you will have. In a time where it’s hard to find great affordable food where you can get the most bang for your buck, this place is second to none. Every time I’m near the area I make it a point to stop and go. The best mom and pop shop I’ve been to.

This place has great food, great service and did I mention great food. The dining are is very clean, the bathroom is clean and the staff very attentive. A very busy location. We have the hamburgers and fries. The hamburgers are juicy and flavorful. The fries are always hot and they give so much we never finish them.

Pete's is the definition of diner. Nothing fancy, just good freshly prepared home-style meals. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is easy, like sitting around the dining room table chatting. The prices are competitive with the big chain eateries, so why not give Pete's a try? There is always the talk about shopping local. How about eating local?

5 STARS! They were fast! Food came out quicker than than I expected and was mouth watering. I Loved the theme of the place :) They didnt have WiFi, so if you want to spend some time with your family without your kids glued to their phones this is the place! There were decorations everywhere and I couldn't stop looking around. They were efficient, cleaning around without bothering anyone. It wasn't to packed either, but I guess that may depend on the day you go. Overall It's now one of my favorite places to go, and I will 100% be coming back in the future!

If I tell you hands down this is one of the best burger places on 59 n in Porter, Tx off 494 . The customer service is top tier and the fresh ingredients for the burger were phenomenal. If you’re in the area for lunch please stop by. They served my food hot fresh, toasted my buns without me asking. My food came out so fast I still had 30 minutes to enjoy my lunch break and I dined in!!!!! I absolutely love the wall decor💙

The food here is amazing. I don't get to come here very much due to my schedule conflicting, but when I do, I always clean my plate. Their patty melt is to die for, as well as their philly cheese steak. The fries always come out piping hot and salted perfectly. There's never much of a wait either, you're served within 10 mins. The prices are also extremely reasonable, as you can walk out spending about $12 and feel satisfied. There's plenty of parking up at the front and more in the rear of the store. They do take cards as well.

Quaint little hole in the wall that's been here forever. This place is great. I've been coming here for years. I ordered the daily Manager's special. The cheese burger was homemade delicious. I added bacon. I had it with French fries and asked for them crispy. They cooked them to perfection. My daughter had the mushroom & Swiss burger. Also one of my faves. Lots of mushrooms and lots of grilled onions. Service is always great here. Very accommodating. I had a burger to go for my other daughter. I was there kind of late, 7:15pmish. They close at 8pm. I asked the mgr at what time was the latest I could order a to go plate cause they close at 8pm. He very matter of fact said, 8pm. My daughter and I enjoyed our food there and I placed my to go order at 7:50. No issues, no complaints, delightful attitude. If your in the Porter area you've gotta visit this place. Forgo all the fast food burgers. They have a full menu. Chicken, hot dogs, Philly cheese, and more goodies. Oh, and desserts too. Can't say enough nice things about this little gem of a place.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The burger was served hot off the grill. The bun was fresh and lightly toasted. The patty was juicy and tasty. Veggies were fresh and cool. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was a winner! I loved the vibe of the place! I highly recommend Pete's Burger Place if you're in the area!!!

Once again this place takes me back to when I was a kid with its classic foods. I had a cheeseburger basket with fries. But it also has good old country music that while not for all, fits this place as well as me while I eat. I enjoy the get away even if only a short time and looking at all the old memorabilia on the walls that remind me of a time passed that I so wished I could revisit. Top that with great service, nice staff and an owner who is dedicated and and real as it gets, you have the Best Burger and Chicken Fried Steak place as if passing through a small town that only the locals know about. Thanks Pete (middle name) for always making my visits feel as if it is only about me and my food. No one else personalizes their service and commitment to their customers in this area like you do. I'll Be Back!!!

This is by far the best burger around Kingwood/Humble area. Also try the Philly cheese steak and you will be surprised how good it is.

Good little place for a quick burger & fries. They are almost always packed. Nothing fancy, but the atmosphere is pretty cool. Update: Just tried the Philly cheese steak sandwich on the request of the guy behind the counter. I had no expectation going in, but OMG it was good. I will definitely get it again. It may be the best thing they have that I have tried so far.

Very popular small place with an antique 70's feel to it I must say. First time there and a Philly Cheesteak was on special. I asked the cashier which one would you try if it was your first time. She replied "the burger. So I ordered it and it was well prepared with grilled onions and a bunch of fries in a paper basket with a side of jalapenos. Free refills always get a thumbs up from me. Therefore the 5 stars. However the Chili Cheese fries are just average. Would go back but get there before 12pm as there is a little wait if you do.

10/10 will be back. Good burger spot for fair prices. The food was fresh and delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich had a great breading. Onion rings are my favorite now.

Definitely a must try! Had the cheeseburger combo but with Swiss instead of American, added some hickory smoked bacon and swapped out my fries for rings and it exceeded my expectations! It's a little cozy in there but I think it just adds to the small town ambiance of the place. Really homey and friendly employees!

I have been a faithful patron of this fine establishment for about 10 years, now. The burgers are always fresh and made to order. This is an old-fashioned burger joint that is the closest thing to actual diner food in Porter, New Caney and Kingwood, Texas.

Having yearned to savor Pete's burgers for quite some time, driven by the glowing praises from my friends, the actual visit exceeded all expectations and left me enchanted. Pete's isn't just a place to indulge in delicious burgers; it's a sanctuary of warmth, exuding a home-like atmosphere that wraps around you like a familiar embrace. The flavors of the food dance on the palate, leaving an indelible mark of satisfaction. The food is both affordable and delicious. I had a cheeseburger with bacon added, onion rings, and a drink for $15.35. Everything about it was great! The service was great, and the atmosphere of the establishment was very homily and inviting. They also offer pie and ice cream as dessert options. Overall, Pete's Burger Place is an awesome burger restaurant that I highly recommend.

Burgers were delicious 😋, the incredible team members are very attentive with excellent Customer service. Ticket times are quick, there is a cute outdoor area to eat and dog friendly atmosphere.

This is a really cool place that’s been around for decades. All old school signs, still using old school cash registers and hand written bills. Food is amazing, people were great!

Just had Peter’s Burger Place and it did not disappoint! The burger was juicy, the bun was soft, and the fries were top tier. Super chill vibe and great service — 10/10 recommend if you’re craving a good burger !

The burger 🍔 was neither good nor bad. The French fries 🍟 were small, possibly cooked in old oil or overcooked. I wouldn’t go back personally.

Cute family place. We just came to get sides to try out the place. We got cheese sticks and fried mushrooms. The fried mushrooms were seasoned well and very crispy. Next time we will try other options but great first trip.

My son & I visited this establishment for the very first time. Ambiance was welcoming and nostalgic, the staff very friendly and efficient . Our food was brought to us in a timely manner fresh and hot. Our burgers was slightly over cooked and under seasoned. Buns would be great if toasted to make bread less soggy I ordered some food to go and one burger was very greasy (with a napkin underneath the sandwich to soak up the grease ) not to mention the huge dollop of onions in the middle of the sandwich making it less enjoyable after having to make necessary adjustments before eating it

This place has a lot of local atmosphere when you walk in. A place where you bump into neighbors. It has a vintage moms kitchen vibe right down to the family pictures on the wall. The food on the table... The fried pickle spears and onion rings were the super stars on my plate . I enjoyed my chicken fried steak sandwich but it was missing seasoning. There was a chili cheese burger too. It was swimming in chili and it looked like a small patty surrounded by bread and chili. I would not order it again. Nothing bad about the place. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is warm. The food was not bad but nothing I have to have again.

It's been a long time since I've been here. Seems like the Patty's are now frozen not fresh, fried pickles are frozen not fresh. The toppings were good, Frys were good. Not something I'm gonna be craving.

Never had a problem with this place until last night. Was my favorite place to get a hamburgers. Last night a VERY BIG disappointment. Our hamburgers were just verily warm, our chili cheese fries were not warm at all. Food set up in window for a long time.

We have been going to Pete’s multiple times a week because it’s good, quick, and friendly staff. That all changed. On Friday, they didn’t go through my order with me and when I got home realized my meal wasn’t in the bag. I called and was told they were staring at my meal and would get the manager to talk to me. He was apologetic and offered to either remake it or “take care of it the next time I’m in”. That has happened before, and knowing we would be back I just sucked it up and didn’t eat. So, tonight I ordered what I did on Friday. I got there and was told that Lalo (the terrible worker I had to work with) had to get in touch with the manager. Obviously, our food was getting cold, but I didn’t want to pay yet again when I didn’t get the food I paid for. He wasn’t initially able to get in touch with the manager, so one of the other employees informed Lalo where he could check tickets that had an issue. He looked at it and very brashly came back and said that while he found my ticket with the words “no charge” he interpreted it as I wasn’t initially charged on Friday. I explained that’s NOT what I was told! On Friday, why wouldn’t the manager just say we are sorry but thankfully they didn’t charge me. That, in no way, was what was said! And, the receipts have no description so there is no way for me to see that. I told him that if he makes me pay for it, we definitely won’t be back and that I’d be outlining everything in a review. His response? “Good! I hope you never come back!”. That is the sort of response you give a loyal customer that is in there all of the time? Then, they normally go through the order with you (they didn’t do it on Friday which is why it was missed), but he didn’t follow their process and just shoved the bags at me! We will NOT be back as Lalo has made it clear they don’t want our business! Mistakes happen, but how they handled this and how I was treated is something I want no part of!

Saw the good reviews and I went. I do not agree with those reviews. Burger lacked flavor, packed with veggies on top. Bun was soggy from those veggies and I ate it there. Burger was not the size of the bun… I literally only tasted lettuce and onions. Onion Rings… Burned.. crisp… not good at all. I don’t recommend Not to mention, this was a frozen fake tasting burger. Not homemade

Always loved Pete's Burgers. Last night was a big disappointment. There were only 3 couples seated and eating, the place was not busy at all. We ordered our food and we had been setting there awhile. We notice a order had came out, but set up in window for a good 10 minutes if not longer. We'll it happen to be our food. Our hamburgers were verily warm and our chili cheese fries were cold. Then I ordered a plain hamburger and they put everything on it anyways. Was a VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
