Na dagje strand met heerlijke tapbiertjes van Indigo kwamen we 10 minuten voordat de keuken dichtging pas binnen (tijd vliegt als het leven goed is 😀🍻) maar dat was geen probleem werden ondanks dat supergoed en vriendelijk geholpen en het eten was echt top!!!! Echt een aanrader!!!

Heerlijk gegeten met een koud biertje erbij. Leuke ligging aan het strand en hele leuke bediening. Eten is van goede kwaliteit en veel variatie in speciaalbier. Als wij weer op Gran canaria zijn keren wij zeker terug!

Johan, Gerda, and all their staff are brilliant. Amadores is full to the brim of daytime restaurants, but they are all so similar. INDIGO is very, very different / unique / sweet. We discovered INDIGO last summer and when we returned to Gran Canaria this month, there was no other obvious choice for a birthday celebration than here. Our experience was simply awesome (if late-afternoon cold beer, great food, chilling directly by the beach, and wonderful hosting are your thing). Sport on TV, Belgian beers, bitterballen, chicken sate, good times, and banter. You don't have to be Dutch to come here and I would thoroughly recommend visiting to have at least one drink. My bet is that it won't be your last one.

Gezien alle positieve reviews op het internet en het goede menu wilden wij graag voordat zij met vakantie gingen, nog een keer hier eten (want een Nederlands tentje). Het eten was heerlijk en het personeel was fantastisch. Toen we de rekening kregen waren we positief verrast door de prijs. De kwaliteit van het eten was super goed en dat voor een lage prijs. Aan het Amadores strand gelegen met een leuk terras in de zon of schaduw. Als je zin hebt in een Nederlandse snack ben je hier aan het juiste adres. De spareribs zijn hier overigens ook heerlijk! Johan en Gerda zijn enorm gastvrij en runnen hun zaak met passie. Je voelt je er welkom. Altijd in voor een praatje met een lach. Wij hebben er genoten en komen hier snel weer terug!

Na een heerlijke dag op het warme Playa Amadores, besloten we neer te strijken bij strandrestaurant Indigo – en wat een fantastische keuze was dat! Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen, voelden we ons welkom door de ontspannen en gezellige sfeer die eigenaren Gerda en Johan hebben gecreëerd. Hun gastvrijheid en persoonlijke aandacht maakten onze avond extra speciaal. De ‘Dutch tapas’ is werkelijk een aanrader! De gerechten waren vers, smaakvol en met liefde bereid. Het is duidelijk dat Gerda en Johan trots zijn op wat ze serveren, en dat proef je in elk hapje. Met een prachtig uitzicht op zee en de ondergaande zon hadden we echt het gevoel dat we in een klein stukje paradijs waren beland. Het is de perfecte afsluiter van een stranddag, en het idee dat we hier weer van kunnen genieten in de toekomst is iets om naar uit te kijken. Indigo is absoluut een aanrader, en wij komen hier zeker terug!

Ik kom hier nu al meerdere jaren en het is altijd weer super goed! Heel vriendelijk personeel en je word snel geholpen, soms kan het wat druk zijn maar dan is het zeker het wachten waard! Zeer gezellig beach restaurant gerunt door twee zeer aardige mensen met passie. Ik heb hier heerlijk gegeten en mistte eigenlijk enkel de Nederlandse mayonaise. (Die had dit restaurant wel, maar moet je even naar vragen; had ik zelf even eerder moeten doen)

Erstmal gilt meine Bewertung natürlich dem Sachlichen. Hier gibt es nicht viel zu sagen außer dass wir zwei superleckere Burger zu einem sehr sehr niedrigen Preis gegessen haben. In der heutigen Zeit könntet Ihr locker ein wenig anheben. Viel wichtiger ist für mich aber das was daneben passiert ist. In dem Sinne gehen unsere herzlichen Grüße an unseren Freund aus Rhodos. Nach seinem Tipp noch einen Tag abzuwarten, habe ich meinen Heiratsantrag erst einen Tag später gemacht, obwohl da laut Vorhersage auch bewölkt stand. Wir wurden belohnt, am nächsten Tag war tatsächlich keine einzige Wolke am Himmel und wir hatten den schönsten Sonnenuntergang, den wir uns für einen Heiratsantrag wünschen könnten. Meerdere keren zijn we hier al geweest, en elk jaar komen we weer terug. Erg vriendelijk personeel en je wordt altijd top ontvangen! Het eten is gevarieerd en erg lekker! Zeker een aanrader!

Excelente restaurante con ubicación inmejorable y vista al mar en Playa de Amadores. Nos pedimos el escalones de cerdo y las costillas de cerdo y estuvieron muy ricas, además de contundentes. También nos pedimos una piña colada y una Corona, muy buenas. La carta es amplia y variada, tanto en platos como en bebidas. Los precios son justos y la atención muy buena. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Muy recomendable!! Pedimos una paella y nuestras expectativas eran muy bajas por estar en un chiringuito encima de la playa en un sitio tan turístico. No equivocamos totalmente, en cuanto nos dijeron que teníamos que esperar 40 min ya vimos que iba a ser recién hecha. Estaba muy muy buena. Cuesta 26€, muy bien de precio ya que es abundante. Si alguna vez volvemos a la isla repetiremos seguro para probar otros platos. Muy buena atención por parte de los dueños y camareros, muy atentos y detallistas.

The burgers are absolutely fantastic. Best Burger I've had in Gran Canaria. Friendly staff. The service is a little bit slow but it's worth the wait especially if your craving burgers. The buns are not homemade but everything was super fresh and perfectly spot on. Can only recommend.

What an amazing restaurant! Great atmosphere, friendly and cozy, delicious food. I went couple of times and everytime I had a feeling like I was at home with my friends. Cocktails are nice and there are lot of choices. I also liked the coffee and beer. Food is delicious, especially paella, I even asked cook for the recipe. Owners always greet you with a smile and are ready to help you and do everything to make you feel comfortable. Restaurant is on the beach so you can sit, relax, listen to lovely music, look at the ocean and enjoy your food and drink. You must try sangria, paella and Canarian potato.Everything is five stars, place, food, drinks, prices, owners and waiters. I will definitely come again next year.

Sehr nettes kleines Strandrestaurant mit diverser, kinderfreundlicher Karte und leckerem Essen. Wir hatten eine Paella für 2 Personen + 1 “Wiener” Schnitzel (auf Wunsch als Hähnchenschnitzel) mit Pommes plus Softdrinks für knapp unter 50€. Alles war prima und der Ausblick auf die Bucht ist toll. Gerne wieder!

S' morgens eerst koffie gedronken en in de middag er gezellig geluncht. Leuke Hollandse muziek. Mijn vrouw nam een baguette hete kip en ik zat te twijfelen tussen een broodje bal of de hamburger.....maar omdat er bij de hamburger "huisgemaakt" stond, deze maar besteld. Beiden waren heerlijk maar het broodje kip was wel het lekkerst. Mijn vrouw nam ook een Italian koffie en die was heerlijk bereid. Een groot glas Amstel bier kost er €2,50 (ik denk 0,4liter)......waar maak je dat nog mee. De eigenaren en de jonge dame in de bediening zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ben je op Amadores Beach loop er zeker een keer binnen!

Diverse malen al geweest. Na volle tevredenheid mag ik wel zeggen. Ook mijn vrouw is er helemaal vol van. Gastvrij, top bediening en vers en heerlijke ingrediënten. Zeer zeker een aanrader.

Heute waren wir Essen im Indigo bei einem total sympathischen Besitzer Ehepaar. Ich hatte den Indigo Burger, der hervorragend geschmeckt hat. Die Zutaten haben perfekt zusammengepasst. Meine Mutter hatte ein Schnitzel Wiener Art, das auch super saftig und lecker war. Wenn wir wieder hier Urlaub machen würden, würden wir sofort wieder ins Indigo gehen, da auch die Preise sehr gut waren für eine Touristenregion. 5 Sterne verdient!

Excellent location, very friendly service, fresh and clean. Only issue I had was that you advertise "Irish / English" breakfast. Irish breakfast includes real bacon, ( not artificial slices of processed stuff) black/ white pudding and definitely excludes chips. Not nesessary to provide two fried eggs, sausages were nice. I realise that you are a Dutch Bar/ Restaurant and that your clients perhaps enjoy this breakfast. I compliment you on your success and I will certainly visit again for dinner. You did ask for my opinion and my review should not be taken as criticism but advice to consider. Best wishes.

Ayer fuimos a comer fiandonos por las reseñas que vimos en google y la verdad, fue un acierto. Local a pie de playa y con una calidad/precio muy razonable. Pedimos para comer un escalope de pollo y un plato de pinchos de pollo con cebolla y pimiento. Ambos platos vinieron acompañados con ensalada y patatas fritas. Todo muy bueno. Los dos platos, ración de pan para dos y un par de aguas, 30€. Bastante recomendable.

De entre el montón de locales que hay en la playa, elegimos este y creo que acertamos. El personal es muy amable, enseguida nos atendieron y colocaron en la mesa. Pedimos una paella, que estaba bastante buena y abundante. No tardó mucho en salir la comida.

Muy buena comida.

Nice little restaurant. Focus is definitely on British and dutch tourists. Of course it’s not a original canarian restaurant but that’s not what you expect. Food is solid, the staff is friendly. Had the impression that the owner himself is serving the food, but I don’t know for sure. We had the seafood paella and enjoyed it. Facilities are very clean. Only downside are smoking guests.

Ayer fuimos a comer fiandonos por las reseñas que vimos en google y la verdad, fue un acierto. Local a pie de playa y con una calidad/precio muy razonable. Pedimos para comer un escalope de pollo y un plato de pinchos de pollo con cebolla y pimiento. Ambos platos vinieron acompañados con ensalada y patatas fritas. Todo muy bueno. Los dos platos, ración de pan para dos y un par de aguas, 30€. Bastante recomendable.

De entre el montón de locales que hay en la playa, elegimos este y creo que acertamos. El personal es muy amable, enseguida nos atendieron y colocaron en la mesa. Pedimos una paella, que estaba bastante buena y abundante. No tardó mucho en salir la comida.

Very slow atencions and long waiting for food .. Jamal is not working there anymore 😢and you notice it .. not as good as it was .. pity..

We ordered a couple of drinks and some club sandwiches and all was good. After 40 mins I realised our food wasn’t coming. I enquired and it became obvious the owner had forgotten to put our order in. Service recovery is essential as we all make mistakes. However no apology or effort to make up for the mistake is not clever. A shame as the waitress was lovely.

Menu is aangepast ten aanzien van eerdere reviews wat voor ons teleurstellend was. Het is nu meer Nederlands eten met een matige kwaliteit.

La comida está buena y es abundante. Tardaron muchísimo en servir los platos, algo que no es común en la zona (hemos comido en varios restaurantes de la playa). En cuanto a la atención del personal, hay un camarero que es demasiado expresivo. Además, quisimos cambiarnos de mesa (en la que estábamos empezó a dar el sol y era demasiado pequeña) y ese mismo camarero nos dijo que estaba reservada cuando, al minuto, llegó un grupo sin reserva y le dieron esa misma mesa sin más, un detalle feísimo. Creemos que se dio cuenta y nos invitó a unos chupitos al terminar la comida.

Food is to put it mildly not great, pizza is frozen, burger taste is awful. Ok for the drinks and nothing else.

We cannot recommend this restaurant and don't agree with this high rating. The Greek salad was not a Greek salad. Mostly lettuce (which doesn't belong in this salad) and this wasn't even fresh, as I had quite some brown spots. The pimientos de padron were overcooked and the garlic bread was probably straight from the grocery store. We finished most of it, since we were hungry. The average fast food might be a better choice there. On the bright side, the service was fast and the food arrived quickly.

Normally i don't write reviews but this experience was so bad i need to share. 1. We ordered food and waiting time was over 1 hour - without any prior warning. 2. We were charged twice for some dishes and after our polite remark the service started to be rude explaining that we are just turist that don't know "local" market prices (we argue showing prices written on the menu). Felt totally scammed. Be careful and ask several times about the prices or just buy food at the local market and relax on the beach without unpleasant surprises.

Really disappointing. My partner had finished his meal before the waitress came to tell that what I had ordered was no longer available. Slow service and disinterested staff.

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per quattro all’ora di pranzo. Abbiamo chiesto se potevamo ordinare la Paella e ci hanno risposto dicendo che erano occupati. Decidiamo quindi di ordinare del fish and chips ma non ci portano i bicchieri, le posate, i tovaglioli e neanche le salse . Ci accorgiamo che nel pesce c’era anche del pollo fritto poiché evidentemente li avevano scambiati in cucina. Facciamo presente ai camerieri (i quali non sembrano interessarsi e fanno finta di non sentirci) dei problemi riscontrati, e ci rispondono in modo arrogante dicendo che fosse impossibile che ci fossero dei pezzi di pollo nel pesce. Continuano a risponderci male finché non ci portano le posate che avevamo chiesto lanciandocele nel piatto. Nonostante ciò, quando siamo andati a pagare non hanno voluto toglierci dal conto il piatto sbagliato e non hanno voluto farci nemmeno uno sconto per il cattivo servizio che ci hanno dato. SCONSIGLIO vivamente.

Esperienza pessima, siamo stati qui per un aperitivo al tramonto, abbiamo ordinato uno Aperol spritz e un gin tonic, lo spritz era praticamente imbevibile e lo abbiamo subito rimandato indietro chiedendo una birra e dicendo che veramente era troppo dolce ed imbevibile. Alla fine, nel conto lo abbiamo dovuto pagare perché il proprietario ci ha detto che anche se gli avevamo detto che era imbevibile lo avevamo ordinato e quindi andava pagato. Considerate che veramente è stato fatto solo un sorso e subito avvertito il personale. Assurdo.
