The food was great and plentiful, in fact, I had to have a to-go box. The wait-staff was very pleasant and friendly. My wife's 91 year-old aunt who is pretty pick ate every bit of her whole meal plus she ate an entire dessert, no to-go box for her. She said that was one of the best meals she had ever had in a restaurant. My wife finished all of hers too and liked it very much. She rarely finishes a meal in a restaurant. Will be taking my wife's aunt back there soon.
Awesome. (In context). Food is good and abundant. Price is good and a little easier on we who are really feeling the inflation pinch. Atmosphere is comfortable. Bathrooms are near. Service is unbelievable, considering that they are short-staffed, like most everyone else...theses girls are full of energy, not disgruntled a bit, cheerful, and happy to please. To us, the best part of our dining experience.
My wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our waitress Stacey was quick to get our drink order, and was kind enough to give us time to order. When she returned she asked if we were ready and we ordered. We had time to chat and look around the restaurant, it is kind of a nostalgic place with historic pictures on the wall, and songs playing from the 50s and 60s. Very relaxed environment. When the food came it was exactly as ordered. Stacey asked if there was anything else that she could get us. The food was very, very good. Delicious!!! Prepared perfectly!!! Usually Dennys hashbrowns are a little crispy and hard to eat, not here. Usually the english muffin is over toasted, not here. Usually the eggs for the omelet are overcooked and dry, not here. The coffee was tasty too. Everything about this Denny's was just an amazing experience for us. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Stopped for a meal after the wife had a fasting procedure. Darci our server seemed to be the only server working. She had everything under control. I saw no one waiting any length of time for anything. The food was good. Pancakes are better than the restaurant with the word "Pancakes" in its name. Darci was a treasure and found time to chat with us about AARP promotions.
The wait staff was incredible! Food was delicious and cups were NEVER empty. The kids menu was cute and had enough activities while we waited... Silverware and tables were immaculate. Fed 5 people whatever they wanted for under 100$. Would absolutely go again next time I'm in the area!
Great fast service. even though only one waitress was working. Polite refills on drinks were fast. Food was delicious.
excellent food and excellent service and staff! classic dennys :)
stopped here for breakfast on memorial day, to be expected it was very busy. they had us sitting within 15 min, and had drinks and food within another 15. everyone was very kind and caring. even when multiple groups of people were being extremely rude to all of the staff. food was very good too! when i apologized to the host for all the horrible customers, she said it was her first day! y’all with attitudes need to do better! what do you expect from a restaurant on a holiday weekend in a tourist city? thank you everyone at denny’s for a great experience and breakfast.
Angel is the best server. She’s takes care of us quickly, professionally and is super sweet and friendly. Thanks Angel for always making our experiences great 😁
Angel was the best. A crowded place and she was great.
Great food, service and prices!! We had breakfast there this morning the food was excellent, the wait staff was personable, and attentive. We returned the same evening for dinner, unlimited pancakes, great soup and chicken fingers. The waitress was even better than the server this morning...if that's possible. LOL...
I haven't been to a Denny's since I was a Child,it was delicious
We love coming here and enjoying tasty food surrounded by friendly faces
My wife and I haven't been here in a while, we see another of new faces. We were greeted with a smile from the moment we walked through the door. Very pleasant experience. Also our Server Jessica was fantastic , very friendly outgoing and made us feel very welcome.
Wonderful Service and Food on Veterans Day - even though Very Busy. Thank you.
I would like to express my experience with Donna at the Queensbury Dennys. Never in my life have I had such an amazing waiter. I’m blown away. She was kind and caring, generous and attentive. She is one of a kind and I hope that she gets a giant raise for her exceptional customer service. She is the kind of person that make people come back. She is the kind of person that makes this world a better place.
Finding a parking spot was easy, at 1pm on a Monday. I ordered a super grandslam for $6.99. The scrambled eggs I ordered were cooked to order, the bacon and hash browns were cooked to perfection. The missing sausage was quickly noticed by our server. She had them on the table asap. My companion ordered the same super slam their over easy eggs were cooked to order. The ice tea and hot tea we ordered were good also. Over all a good experience. There is a plexiglass divider at the register at check out.
Older visits below. As of 7/2023, I have visited this Denny's a dozen times at least. My go to order is the mile high Denver omelette with red skinned potatoes and pancakes (no upcharge, I love that). Coffee is great but on the expensive side. The service is unpredictable but I'd say the morning shift is by far more dependable. 5/18/2022 the place was dead (maybe because gas prices are almost $5/gallon now and groceries are at least 20% higher since 2020), service was great, food was great, bathrooms were needing some cleaning.
There was only 1 waiter but she was fantastic. Worked as if she was 3 people. She was so professional and nice. She had so much skill with balancing all her tasks and orders with a good amount of tables. The food was great. Order the bourbon bacon burger and it was so filling only had to eat half and I was full.
Great place, super friendly staff, great food, plenty of parking and good atmosphere. Shout out to Angel for making it just a lovely experience 👏👏👏
Recent Visit: 4/19/25 - my brother & I went back to this Denny's. Now while the food came out quickly and was hot, the portions definitely have shrunk (and of course the prices have risen). Our waitress was pleasant and attentive as usual, but if they are going to charge more money for less product, there are other restaurants that we can visit.🤷♂️🤔🤑 (Previous Visit): Great time at Denny's (despite my brother's reaction to the photo I took, lol). Our waitress, Destiny L was great! Food arrived quickly, piping hot and VERY delicious! We didn't leave a single crumb on our plates. I didn't have time to take photos of my brother's dinner, as he dug right in, but the accompanying photos to this review are of my delicious dinner! Next time we find ourselves in Queensbury, we will definitely have a meal at this Denny's 😁😁👍🏼👍🏼
The service was great! We went right at the start of the morning breakfast rush but we were seated promptly. The staff was very friendly and our orders were made exactly as asked. The restaurant took good precautions for covid with seating being sectioned off, cleaning after every patron, and utensils coming wrapped in paper to avoiding touching
fast service good service good food no complaints. everybody enjoyed the food, and it was reasonably priced.
What can I say it's Dennys! The food is always decent. The menu is still very affordable and definitely family friendly
I am glad that we can replace some items in the menu. Cup of coffee is expensive.
Wait staff was very friendly and efficient. Didn't wait forever for my meal. Ordered the supreme omlete. Definitely got what I ordered. Omlete so full it was busting out the seems. Coffee was nice and fresh.
Food is great the price not so much a bit expensive
We went there at mid night and hungry. The food was good and enjoyable. My wife is severely allergic to mushrooms, so she made sure twice that the server knows not to put mushrooms in the dish. The dish came back with mushrooms. Understandably the service was slower at this late hour, so she had to go find the server to let her know. She apologized for the issue and had our dish made again. This time she forgot the bread, which she did brought back after asking. No intention of putting down efforts of the entire staff. I guess it may have been just a rare occurrence. I'd go back for the food, but be careful to verify the food in case you have allergies.
As far as Denny's go, this one was about the same as any other. I wouldn't call home about it, but you'll get pretty much exactly what you'd expect. Our wait to be seated was a joke, but our waitress was fantastic.
Service was a little slow but it was good. Waitress was very oleasant! The food was steaming hot! And the atmosphere was very pleasant! Nice and quiet and no rudeness! Very nice! Now the music is a different story! But I won't go there!
It's a decent Denny's and very kid friendly. We enjoyed a quick bite before starting our day in Lake George. Would eat here again. Staff was nice and food was good. No complaints.
Updated family diner like atmosphere Food was decent Prices are ok Staff was nice.
As expected at Denny’s, good breakfast choices, decent service and a good atmosphere. A solid breakfast restaurant …
I love this Denny's! Everyone is sooo nice. Coming from a big city it's nice to feel small town vibes. The food is always good. Denny's has come a long way on their menu!! My only wish is that they fix the darn booths. They recovered but because they are damaged underneath they are all ripping again. Otherwise, it is our favorite place in town. Very underrated and overlooked I think by people!!!
Best service I have ever received at a Denny’s The food was delicious but too greasy The hash browns were half dry and burnt You could taste the oil spray on the hash browns
It was an 1145pm stop on a Saturday night. I was alone and only two other parties were in the restaurant while I was there. Immediate sat, drinks and food ordered at the same time and service was rather quick. No complaints about the food. On par with any other Denny’s that I have been to. It was unfortunate to see it so empty on a weekend night, but at the same time it was refreshing to have a meal without numerous conversations going on around you.
Dennys is almost always good. You know the menu, know what you like and it's almost always cooked the same. This one was great. Social distancing was observed in the dine in option. You can order online and pick up too. Our server was super sweet tho they had her working alone which seemed challenging but she managed perfectly.
My family and I vacation in Lake George and although we have discovered some gems, we have found it difficult to find restaurants that are similar to our NJ area in proximity, food quality, price and hours of operation. Many of the really good restaurants in the Lake George Region either have strange days of operation (closed mondays and tuesdays) or the hours are not what we are used to (who closes a restaurant before 9pm?).. Anyways we had gotten back from the Great Escape late, returned to our hotel and we starving..before we knew it, it was 9:20 pm. I panicked because we had not eaten anything of nutritional substance (unless you count the garbage offered at G.E because they ran out of healthy options but I will leave that for another review) all day. I called several places and to my surprise they were either closed or had stopped serving dinner..ahh! I kind of wish I was back in NJ where I could access trusted diner cuisine at 1am if I so pleased..so we had to get creative and maybe a little ballsy..In my desperation I suggested Denny's...my husband practically rolled on the floor laughing... Yes, you read right Denny's! Even I am shocked to write this review but I felt compelled as there are almost no reviews and I was impressed with the food/price/hours. We loved the fact that the menu had an array of fit and lean options for us healthy eaters and also for the not so healthy eaters. My daughter had her favorite pancakes from the kids menu, along with a pleasant surprise a fruit and low fat yogurt smoothie for $1.99. No soda, or shirley temple or any other sugary option..the smoothie had fruit and yogurt no added sugar and it was really good! Inspired by her, I ordered a mango smoothie which was $2.99 but larger and well worth it..awesome smoothie! I also had the fish tacos which were lightly fried but ingredients were simple with cabbage, avocado, tomato, and a bit of sauce. Husband had an avocado grilled chicken sandwich of whole wheat bread, he really liked it and at 520 calories..not too shabby my friends.. What really impressed us was that for our side we didn't want the french fries, onion rings or anything else fried so we ordered a side salad. When it came, holy moly it was huge.. This was no side salad with a few sad tomatoes and 1 onion sitting on top, I counted 6 cherry tomatoes,4 onion slices,4 cucumber slices, and croutons! They didn't go stingy on the balsamic vinaigrette like restaurants usually do. I also had the strawberry cream cheeses pancake hush puppies for my dessert for $1.99 (6 of them). They were awesome, of course not good for you so two was more than enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. They can easily be shared between three people. Our bill came up to $31.38!...There was no up-charge for the side salad, which most restaurants will up-charge you for healthier alternatives. This was the most affordable dinner we had eaten so far on vacation and we were really impressed.. So Denny's in Queensbury I ate my words.
My friend and I…a fellow Veteran went to Dennys for breakfast on Veterans Day. Server was friendly courteous and very professional. Since it was Veterans Day Denny’s picked up our check. Thank you Denny’s for a great breakfast with other Veterans in attendance!
Honestly the value for the money is great. Some of the cheapest kids' meals/ breakfast meals around. The service is usually pretty good, sometimes they can get a little busy(like Saturday mornings). …

Food was disgusting (didn't even finish it and they used the wrong ingredients, forgot one of our dishes, and the hash browns were less than edible. The service was good though.
Food was good, as in all Denny’s! But I think our waitress forgot about our orders because we we served after 1 hour, while tables that arrived after us got served before. She can back, room a quick look at our table and realised it was empty. 5 min after, the food was coming.
Food was as good as you'd expect. Juices were so watered down you could see how pale they were. When we questioned it and asked for new drinks the waitress was rude and simply told us that she'd just replaced them this morning and it was how it was supposed to be. The 'apple juice' barely even had color to it, it was like someone took the bottled toddler juice and then cut it 90% with water. Waitress didn't come back again the rest of our visit, didn't bring new drinks for our daughters as asked, nada. This location used to be nice. Not so much anymore. Drive down to Saratoga and go to that one instead.
Seemed to be short staffed. We were seated right away then ordered but out food took 45 minutes to come out. Friendly staff, hopefully they find some help.
Keep in mind I went to said establishment on christmas day. For whatever reason me a d my son specifically didnt experience any long wait on either being seated or food. However throughout the time we both were there it became progressively evident that this place was way over there head w staff and orders people waiting extensively for food and even a server to come check on them
The food was delicious. No problem there. But the wait was ridiculous. 15 minutes to be seated even though there were several tables free. Staff ignoring you at the reception desk. 35 minute wait for food once we ordered. Our waitress was sweet and kept apologizing. This location needs a manager and some staff ASAP. But....food was delicious and affordable.

I wasn't pleased at all. We get there and maybe 3 other tables were being used. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be taken, drinks were when seated, which was good. Then it took, at least, another 20 minutes for our meals. The waitress NEVER came to see if everything was okay, if we needed refills, which I did, NOTHING. We asked another waitress for our bill. The worst Denny's experience I've had in forever!!
Service was horrible food was cold when it got to us. Had to wait to get the bill no one was at the register and at least two of the wait staff knew we was done as two from our party had already left the restaurant.. wasn't offered an apology or even a refund on the cold food that was served.. I do not recommend this place wait staff was non existent and hung out in the back the whole time we was there.. the seats are very uncomfortable and look like they are older then the building..
First and foremost, the wait time was excessive. We waited an HOUR for breakfast. The restaurant was busy, but the lack of communication and updates from the staff only added to our frustration. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Denny’s. The excessive wait times and lackluster service overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal. There are plenty of other dining options in the area that provide a more enjoyable experience. Save your time and dine elsewhere.
It's definitely not what it use to be! All of our food was cold before we even got it! The waitress was kind but couldn't tell us who's soda was who's and during the time of covid I wasn't about the taste test. Honestly the food sucked and looked gross almost as if it was was fake sausage and bacon. Worst place to eat. But my kid liked the frosting on her pancakes. And they had the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen.
The place is so small for a tourist place. We waited around an hour for a food. We were able to watch a movie on my phone while waiting for our food and the movie was done before we even finished eating. Very disappointing.
The food was okay. The service was not great and we waited almost an hour for our food with no updates. Then we waited so long for the check so we were just stuck there waiting to pay after all that waiting to eat. I would not recommend.
Service was not bad, but food quality has not been great. Well, let me rephrase that -- it by no means was gross, the salad was fine, but the fries were overcooked and the chicken was over fried. Even with bad service if the food is really good I can overlook it. It's a restaurant, I'm paying for food first and foremost. Hopefully they'll figure it out soon and maybe I'll go back again at some point.
It was pretty empty. My wife and I were the only customers when we arrived. Service was friendly. An atmosphere of a family owned diner instead of a chain. However, I ordered the salmon. And the rice and corn. Started eating and got to the fish. It was tapered on the ends so I am weird and ate from the end in. As soon as I made it to the big section I took a large bite to savor it with the lemon juice. And instantly regretted it. I threw back up on the plate. The fish was raw in the center. immediately ended our dine in experience and the only severance I received was an apology, the salmon removed from the bill, and an explanation as to the fish was frozen and they didn't bake it long enough in the oven. I don't know how baked fish should have even been mentioned when I ordered grilled salmon.
Waited at front to be seated for 5 minutes. No one was in restaurant so all tables was empty when we finally got seated waited another 5-10 minutes to get drinks waitress apologized multiple time but didn’t seem to be aware of what was going on. Waitress sat down to take our order and wait was long for our food over an hour. Food was cold and orders was not correct. we seen multiple customers come in and had to wait to be seated or even talked to. One group of ladies left and we can hear the waitress calling them names in the back. Need more staff and staff that are more trained. Overall horrible experience!
I ordered through door dash and ordered a brisket melt. It had no sauce on it and the eggs were scrambled when I ordered over medium eggs. It had no onions on it at all. Absolutely disgusting. Tried calling to see if I got someone else’s ordered or if they just screwed up but was constantly busy.
We ordered our food and then waited for an hour to be served. It gave us plenty of time to observe the other six tables with the same frustration. When the waitress was asked about a glass of water that was forgotten by agentleman, ,she threw her hands up and bluntly remarked that she was "trying". I heard her comment to one table that they only had one cook. When my salad did arrive , it was missing two main ingredients. The waitress never returned to our table to ask about it. It was definitely a disappointment to guests and staff alike. I feel as if we would have been forewarned about our wait time, we would have reconsidered our order. My tip went to a little girl who waited for an hour to eat pancakes with her grandmother. Unacceptable.
Waited for someone greet us [and ask "how many?"] and be seated because they had to send the hostess home early. Then we waited 30 minutes for our food after ordering and when we finally got our food, EVERYTHING is was lukewarm. My mom said to say something but I just decided to deal with it, and tipped the waitress a little less. Also, my son's steak was ordered medium rare and came out pretty much well done and my mom's scrambled eggs were undercooked.
Supposed to be open at 6am ...640 and door is locked .. I love dennys and was looking forward to it

Stopped in for breakfast as we commonly do on weekends with my disabled brother. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait as the kitchen staff was backed up, we chose to stay and seated ourselves …

Breakfast, menu difficult to read, saw photo of what I wanted American Classic, but couldn’t find price, ordered it thinking, how much could it cost , $10, maybe…..food came, hashbrowns were not cooked and dry, bacon was rubbery, toast was warm bread with butter, sausage was cooked but cold, eggs were okay, didn’t want to complain, got bill and was SHOCKED to see the price , $16.00, I couldn’t believe it, $16 BUCKS!!! NEVER AGAIN, very disappointed
Hopefully they're understaffed but it's not worth the Wait. an hour for table. Wait x an hour for food and lack of service in between. Rude attitudes and mad at the customer. Not recommended and I think staff will be happy not to have you.
Awful experience from the moment we stepped in. The "greeter" seemed to be on a date; we waited for 5 min until she decided to stand up and walk toward the counter , where she started to write something on a board and did not even tried to greet us. Sat us at a booth with broken seat with no padding, only springs. We left disappointed. If you want good service, dont come here, at least not on a sunday.
We came here because we were staying at the Six Flags Great Escape lodge hotel (about 10 mins away) and we wanted to try something different. We don’t have a Denny’s where we’re from originally (NYC), so we decided to try this one. The food was okay and the waitress was really sweet. BUT my daughter found a hair in her food and that’s so gross!! We told our waittess about it and she went and got her a new stack of pancakes but by the time they came out, the other rest of her food was cold. What a disappointment! The wait time for the food was also ridiculous (about 30 mins and people that got there AFTER us, got their food first). So yeah, we wouldn’t go back to this place.
Went to the restaurant before and never had a problem. But I went on christmas day and waited for an hour in line just to be told once we got in that they are not taking any more customers because the cooks are over worked. They should of said something when we where in line.
Salty wings , bacon and shredded potatoes not cooked bacon was raw horrible food for 121 dollar bill no one ate there food
Says that they are open 24 hours, but my husband and I tried to go there at 12:16am, and the door was locked. Looked around and saw a sign on the window saying they closed at 12 am Monday through Friday. Was very disappointed, especially since on the website it says they are open 24 hours every day off the week. Please, if you are not going to be open 24 hours, change the time on the website so that others aren't waisting gas and time for travel just for u to be closed!!
It’s ridiculous that at 5:45 pm this location is not accepting delivery orders 🤷🏻♂️
This is one of the worst run restaurants. I've ever encountered, and i've been all over the world. The food is very basic and the service is absolutely horrible. No matter if they're busy or not, it is absolutely chaos. After factoring in the bad decor it would be cheaper to stay at home
Placed an online order, was charged 2 times $23 each time! I called the store to ask about why I was charged twice and they said they didn’t have an order for me! The manager Angie said nothing she could do! I asked for corporate number and she hung up on me! The owner called me and tried to say my card was declined, I sent him the bank statement and he still refused to give me my food or money back and said he can see why his staff would hang up on me! The owner said he contacted Corp for me and they said the card was declined! I called corporate and they are only open Monday -Friday! I asked him how he got in touch with them being today is Saturday and they are closed for the weekend! $46 dollars for eggs and pancakes that I never got! He then said I was crazy and hung up on me!
They told us it would be a 15 minute wait, which was fine with us. But then all the tables and booths were clearing out and they still wouldn't seat us. After 1 hour they finally sat us and said they just needed to catch up on doordash orders before they could seat us.
The bench seat was still broken from our last visit months ago. The breakfast no longer comes with a coffee or any drink for that matter. For 2 people to have the French toast slam it was 55.00 Dennys has gone down hill for sure. The eggs that I ordered over easy were extremely runny and I paid the price for the next 2 days if you know what I mean!! Won't be doing Dennys again. Ambrosia diner will always get my money from now on. Let's not forget that there were not one, but two dogs in with one couple.
It was the first time I experienced such a long wait. I ended up losing my appetite. Food came not very presentable. Wouldn’t go back to that restaurant.
Walked in at 4p on a Thursday afternoon, ordered and was still waiting after 40 mins to get our food. Asked the waitress and she said the cook was nowhere near making our order. We left to eat somewhere else.
This was close to being the worst dining experience I have ever had. Well we didn’t even get that far - dining. 10 mins standing at the door waiting to be seated. Over an hour waiting for food. Watching online orders go out the door, but the restaurant was half empty. It made no sense. We had coffee and then left after an hour. Like how difficult can it be to make eggs, bacon and toast?? Other customers were leaving and doing the same. It was ridiculous to say the least. I’ve never seen anything like it and will never visit another Denny’s ever again.
Did a Uber eats order forgot half the stuff. Never again
We used to come here all the time, It was our favorite spot! Last time we came in the kitchen was very slow, so we haven’t been back in months. Thought we would give it another shot. Idk what’s going on with the cooks. I’ve been in restaurant business for 20 years and there was legit 5 tables in the dinning room 2 of which already had food. One for up and left. We waiting for an hour before getting our shakes and the food. The food was so un-edible. Steak was so grizzly, cool, and cold with so much sauce on it that you couldn’t even taste the steak. It was like so sweet and salty drenched all over the plate. The hashbrowns were covered in butter the grease just dripped right off of them. The chicken that came out looks like it had been boiled. It was white and so rubbery. By far the worst experience ever! The server tried her best for the situation she was given. Not sure why when there’s only 2 tables (she even confirmed we were the only ticket) did the food take over an hour to come out!
Now I know why Denny's is in trouble. It had been a while since we ate there. Don't bother. I ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. The biscuits had about 2 tablespoons of gravy and my eggs were over hard. My friends eggs were the same and his bacon was almost raw. We got up and left. Get you act together Denny's.
We placed a pickup order at 11:05 a.m. Their app said the food was ready at 11:27. When we went into pick it up that's when they told us they received the order and that it would be another 15 to 20 minutes. I'm writing this review at noon and still don't have food. On top of that, the waitress that we spoke to about this was rude. I would stay far away from this one.
Not a good experience. Order thru app, get there and the doors are locked. Finally gwt our food to take home and the hash browns were cold and my husbands slam was missing the toast
02-14-26 1130 am my husband and I went to have brunch for Valentine's Day , we promptly was seated , 8 minutes laterour waitress came up introduced herself we gave her our food and drink order , at first yes they were busy . a hour {1235 pm} went by our waitress said our food she becoming out in 10 minutes, Never Came . so she filled my coffee. Another 30 minutes went by waitress came back to our table said our food should be out in 10 minutes now 105pm , We waited . about 130 pm I looked at her and said can you please tell us how much longer means we have waited for for 1.5 hours she went back to kitchen , comes back out and said they lost your ticket1 How do you let set for 1.5 hours and they lost your ticket ? now mind you , the kitchen had 3 cooks and a manager back there! We WALKED OUT! AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
Waited an hour and a half. When food came out, had to ask them to reheat. Steak was over cooked. Broccoli was mushy. Dinner bread burnt. Lettuce on sandwich was very dark, wilted and soggy. It was not busy AT ALL. Other customers were getting quite upset about the wait and lack of service on the floor. Also, my 20 year old daughter went to use the bathroom and said, "The main door does not close, everything is visible to everyone, the smaller stall doesn't lock, it's all disgusting." We also we're going to wait for a box, waited, waited, waited. Eventually just found one because our waitress wasn't returning. Reading the reviews while at the table waiting, to find out that this has been an ongoing issue as of lately. Figure it out guys.... this was not your finest moment
waited for an hour and 40 minutes for our food to come out after ordering. during that time we were only checked on twice. was very close to walking out and going somewhere else. do better.
I was disappointed with this Denny’s location overall. The food took a long time to come out, and while it was okay, it definitely wasn’t the best and felt a bit rushed. The restaurant didn’t feel very clean, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and unorganized. For a place that’s supposed to be simple comfort food, the experience was still frustrating and not worth the wait. That said, our server, Harley, was absolutely amazing and honestly the best server we’ve had anywhere. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even with how busy and disorganized things were. Her attitude, patience, and professionalism truly stood out, and she made the experience so much better than it otherwise would have been. She deserves major recognition for how great she is at her job.
Ordered 2 eggs over medium. One was raw and the other broken and fully cooked. Didn't receive my juice. No butter for French toast. Bacon was raw. Whoever boxed the food must have done so with the most greasy hands ever. There was grease all over the take out boxes. Food completely soggy! Just when I thought it couldn't get worse. Food is awful! Will not waste any more of my money on this garbage!
I haven’t been to a dennys in years and I remember why I haven’t. Had to be the worst meal I’ve ever paid money for. The food was not only cold when it finally came out but tasted like plastic. The bacon might as well be dust because that’s what it tasted like. I will never waste my hard earned money on this awful food ever again. This place needs to close.
We waited 75 minutes for our food. Heaters sitting at various locations throughout the restaurant. Our waitress was very apologetic for our wait. The problem was definitely in the kitchen. The low heat and and heaters on the floor was an disaster waiting to happen. The long wait for our food was extremely annoying. Many customers were also waiting....dine in and carry out also. We were not the only customers that were upset. It was absolutely ridiculous.
My experience here was very horrible. What a waste of $30 food, very disgusting, coffee very disgusting. It was very cold. I don't understand how y'all expect to run a business when it's cold and you guys are running one simple space heater. I will never come back to this place ever again and I hope that you guys get closed down.
Ordered over the phone for a pickup and waited about 30 minutes before going in for it. Waited in line for at least 10 minutes, while getting butted in front of about 3 times by other customers. No one behind the desk even glanced at me. I finally got up there and said I was trying to pick an order up, and they went to look for it and said there had been a mix-up in the kitchen. Then another person came out and was scolding the other girl for selling things that they haven't had for 2 days. So, I ordered something that they apparently didn't even have, and no one could call and let me know. Also, scolding a clearly very new employee in front of customers is not professional, and when she was taking my order over the phone, someone was helping her (I could hear them), so maybe better guidance for you employees? I wound up just walking out extremely frustrated without any food. Not the first time I've had an issue placing orders here. I'd just do the online order but the fries with queso, cheese and bacon aren't an option on there.
The food was not cooked all the way the sausage then hashbrowns omg. The waitress was okay but she smelled terrible like garbage. It was bad. Then while taking our order she sat down next to me which was very inappropriate. If I were a waitress I would not just sit down next to the person that is ordering. As we were ordering she goes “well someone better go first.” The food took a bit to come out but I understand as they are busy. I am not upset about that but I could not enjoy anything as the food was gross and so much grease as well and then the waitress smelling so bad. The host has ear buds in and as we were trying to pay she walks away. Very much rude.
40 minutes for four slices of undercooked bacon and three eggs over..no toast......no home fries...... Waitress didn't even bother coming over to check until 40 minutes later, she brings out a plate with food that is barely warm. When I get the check I go on pay and ask for a manager and it turns out that the waitress is the manager. It also turns out that between the two waitresses there they also have to seat all of the people that come in. The waitress states that Denny's has a special machine that cooks the bacon so they don't have control over how it comes out. If you value your stomach, and if you want your bacon cooked normally, and if you want a meal that is hot and that should take a reasonable amount of time, this is not the place for you. Never again, and I strongly urge anyone else not to even bother.
Didn't even make it to try the food because the staff is entirely incompetent, and can't manage a simple seating list with a wait. Was told that we would be seated in about 15-20 minutes. After a half hour of waiting, went in to see what was going on, only to find out that our party was crossed off the list. At that point, they said we would be next. Our party was skipped AGAIN. When we went in to say something, and was met with an attitude and zero accountability. Will never go there again.
