Gotta tell you that the service was top notch! The girl that greeted us was bubbly and filled with happiness. She made the first impression so welcoming. And my Mom special requested a vegetarian pizza for buffet, when it was ready the girl came to our table to let us know that it was fresh out of the oven. To me that was AWESOME!!! Since we were there to celebrate my Moms birthday. And they even made this Birthday meat pizza that was one of my favorite flavors. Next up was this Alfredo sauce chicken pizza…tasted identically like the great white pizza from round table pizza. The salad bar was nicely stocked and they had good music playing in the background. Overall it was a great experience! Thank you Shakey’s for making the day special for my family. We will be coming back and recommending this location to everyone. Just one thing that I miss from the old Shakey’s was cinnamon rolls or a dessert pizza. But I’m sure you’ll work on it in the future.

Everything was great! We brought our boys in for a some weeknight fun and dinner. It was almost empty there were only two other parties in and we were the only one with kids. We were a little disappointed with the games, although my kids had fun there were quite a few machines out of order. It’s been a while since we’ve last visited and overall it was great. The tables we’re clean, the food was good and the staff were very friendly

Went in for the lunch buffet. The pizza were basic and not much speciality pizza being put out. The chicken and mojos potato wedges were cooked perfectly. The worker will only take your empty plates when u leave the table but doesn’t check on you.

Good pizza. Amazing fry chicken. Cashier and store manager friendly and courteous. Kids enjoy playing games in the small arcade.

When first arriving we had to wait 10/15 mins to order because they said the kitchen was backed up. When our food arrived our server noticed our cheese side of the pizza didn’t look good, so they offered to bring us a new small cheese to make up for it which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3. The chicken strips and chicken wings were dry and over cooked. The mojos were alright.

Imagine it was 1954. Elvis Presley just started playing on the radio, on tv 'I love Lucy' was making America laugh, and in Sacramento Shakey Johnson opened his first Shakey's Pizza Parlor. Shakey's has been around for a long time and that says tons about the quality of the restaurant and the food. When I was in college Shakey's was a big part of my life, I was going there 2 to 3 times a week. I went there to eat my lunch (and sometimes dinner). I went there to hang out with friends (and dates). And sometimes, I studied there. Shakey's in a way got me through school and I will always remember those times. The food at Shakey's is amazing and every time I go there, I kid you not, I always get three things. I always get the pizza (it's a pizza place after all). I always get the chicken. And I always get the mojo potatoes. In my head, my meal was not complete without all three. And getting one without the other two was simply inconceivable. Several weeks ago, I treated my sister and her kids to Shakey's and when the younger ones tried the Mojo Potatoes for the first time their faces lit up like firecrackers. Their eyes were wide open and their mouths dropped. The potatoes were the first thing to come and the first thing to go. It simply amazes me how a simple side can be the star of the show, but it was. If you've never been to a Shakey's, go. The food is great (the Mojos are amazing). The staff is friendly, and the restaurants are large and clean. Check this place out.

Food was alright, service was awful. Girl behind the counter had a major attitude. The girl doing the prizes was nice. The machine to check fun card balance didn't work, and a few of the games didn't work. The seating is way too crowded and it seems they have a hard time keeping up with the lunch rush. So we wanted to try there Pizza and PCM from this location. I remember as a kid that shakeys was known for there “Lunch a Bunch” My girl wanted pizza and chicken so we stopped in and ordered the “ Ultimate PCM combo” $70.00 for two pizzas and chicken with mojo potatoes for 6-8 people. 🤔 well seems like when we were there they had a full crew of people but most of them were standing around and not doing much. When we finally got our food the pizza was cold and the chicken was good. One of the crew members apologized for the long wait but not sure if we will be back. Disappointed with our order.

The pepperoni pizza was nasty! Dry too much cheese on a thin crust made my stomach hurt!!! Shakeys is not the way it use to be, I'll never order there again!!!

Came into eat today and the food was horrible this is my second time here and both times food is cold the whole restaurant is cold you have to eat fast so your food don’t get cold , they keep the air up so you don’t stay long and enjoy your meal I came in for the buffet and asked for a fresh pizza with bell peppers and onions on it the pizza had whole cut slices of bell peppers round cuts not slices thick chunk onions were big as well no effort put in to the pizza nothing was fresh and appealing everything was old and dried out when I asked her to check the temperature of the pizza she said it was 145 but continue to proceed and tell me all the food is at temperature and that everything was fresh there was pizza sitting there since they opened the buffet just dried out I will never come back here to eat again

Not so much "bunch for your lunch"... So it's been some time since we have been to this location, and had quickly been reminded as to why. This location leaves lots to be desired of. For as much as one pays for 'bunch of lunch' for 2 people, one would think they would keep the lunch bar replenished, right? Between the hours of 12-1p, the lunch bar will be empty - once the Pizza runs out - completely. They wait 15-20 minutes for it to be restocked. When you ask where the items are, they tell you "one minute...", - and of course, with attitude. If you're on your lunch hour, one minute for them, is 20 - 30 minutes for a working person (factoring travel time and such). It's obvious they need more staff in the kitchen. There's one lowly person rambling around in there, while the servers walk around cleaning up the tables. Funny thing is, no food means - no dirty dishes. There isn't much for the servers to really clean up. Conveniently, the food bar area gets restocked up to 12pm, then, they wait till 1 Ipm to do it again. I hope someone points out this review to them so they can make it right for all of their paying customers and not lose any much needed business. Sadly, I hate to leave a poor review for this establishment as I have been enjoying Shaky's Pizza since I was a kid. But if you're in a hurry for lunch, and you're watching your budget, this is not the place for you. You're better off walking across to street and getting quality meal from 'The Hat' than coming here. ✌🏼

Food was great, staff on another note was terrible. Brought my family of 7 to have dinner, well passing through. Waitress ended up having a bad attitude. Staff at the counter well asking for boxes to go, also got an attitude with me.. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Staff at this restaurant need to work on there customer service skills. Corporate will be hearing from me.

Really disappointed this location this visit.. 😕 Pizza dry, mojos not crispy, but oily & soggy. No flavour. Spaghetti dry as well. Staff quite rude when I was waiting for dessert pizza. Just really not an overall positive experience.
