I was looking for a new place for breakfast and found this gem. There was a wait but on a Saturday morning it's to be expected. It was worth the wait. The food was great and the service was good. Will definitely go back and will try their lunch menu that sounded yummy too.

I had an amazing breakfast at Deja Vu Restaurant in Redding. From the warm greeting to the superb food and quick service, everything stood out. The portions were generous, the coffee top-notch, and you could tell the team really cares about their guests. A special shout-out to Karline and her family, they are the best and do so many great things for our community, making this place more than just a restaurant. Me and my friend got super high and came here with the munchies! The lady was training another staff member and she was so nice to her it was refreshing and instantly relaxed us!😆 the food was 10/10 I felt so good after eating! -Juniper

Best pancakes I've ever had, speaking as a person that doesn't care for pancakes. Fluffy and tasty. And the Carmel mocha whatever iced coffee drink I had was amazing! The club sandwich wasn't great, the turkey just tasted a little off, but everybody else was overly happy with their food and coffee drinks. We would absolutely come back again. Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating.

I love the new location, much better parking opportunity, with all my favorite peeps and foods in a much brighter interior. Just can't beat that "Bayside Omlet" and a cup of the best coffee in town. (Shrimp falling out the sides of the omlet). I'll see you there tomorrow : )

11/14/24 Another breakfast knocked out of the park! Deja Vu is consistently over the top. There is a wait in the mornings but it is well worth it. Servers are so amazing, friendly, and take care of anything you need. Food is fantastic, I just can't say enough about them. From excellent service, to delicious food, large portions, everything is perfect! We had the awesome Adela for our server today. This lady is one of the best I've ever experienced. What a sweetheart! Best breakfast in Redding hands down! 08/03/24 We've forgotten how amazing breakfast at Deja Vu is! My son and granddaughter invited us for breakfast and we were quickly reminded how awesome it is. The food was perfectly prepared, and delivered in abundance! I'll share photos but in no way can you see the deliciousness in these pics. And Asley absolutely killed it as our server. What a sweetheart! That girl can carry 20 plates at once! Lol! Fantastic breakfast! 02/26/2024 First visit to the new location. Same great food and excellent service! Debbie was our server and she is always amazing! Today is my wife's birthday and she could have gone anywhere, and she chose Deja Vu! Sometimes the wait is long but the food is so worth it! Everytime we have been here, the food, whether breakfast or lunch has been amazing! The wait staff is always great but this time we had Heather. She is the best waitress we have ever had in our many years of dining out. Heather went the extra mile to make our visit more than a meal, it was a dining experience! If there were more than 5 stars we would give them more!

Deja vu has been a popular restaurant in Redding, Ca. for many years. Now they have moved to shasta St. into a different building, but they are the same great restaurant as before. The food was plentiful and tasty. Service was amazing, Debbie, ty. One plate was a create your own with pumpkin pancakes, and the other was a Four Story omlette w/hashbrowns. We couldn't finish either one. Not because it wasn't good, cause it was incredible. But there was so much food. If I have anything to complain about, it would be all the booth seats along the windows. They are on the slim side. We felt a little confined sitting in them, so we asked to move. Other than that, great experience, and we will be going back. Highly recommend 👌

This is my ultimate favorite place to go for breakfast. They have this amazing dish the Spinach, Avocado, Bacon Benedict. I don't care for English muffins and they'll substitute with a biscuit. I took the girls there today from work and they were all very amazed and nothing but compliments. There might be a wait, but it is worth it. Trust me.

Yesterday was my first time here and definitely will not be my last! I was so impressed with EVERYTHING. Great atmosphere, awesome drinks, amazing food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Everything was awesome. Now you might want to grab that sweater from the car since it's still hot outside, so ya know... "women's winter" and a little chilly indoors. But other than that... and absolutely delightful experience. I was even blessed to get to meet the owner & her son. Fabulous people. I'll be checking out their other restaurants soon too. I highly recommend this restaurant for a yummy breakfast or brunch. Maybe I'll try lunch next time but the Bacon, Avocado, Spinach Eggs Benedict was TO DIE FOR... and I don't usually like spinach very much. It was SOOO GOOD! 10/10

Passing through Redding and found this cute little spot. The service was friendly, decor was beautiful, and the food was amazing. I ordered a basic two egg breakfast with pancakes, as well as the tiger chai. My friend ordered a club sandwich with a side salad. All of it was delicious. Stop by here if you are looking for a good spot to eat in Redding!

The pancakes were phenomenal! And so was the maple syrup. The vegetarian eggs Benedict were okay, sauce felt a bit too much. But the hash browns were really bad. They were undercooked and very flaky.

The portions were huge! Latte with honey and cinnamon was good. Bit the terrace was closed and it’s so sad because the weather was nice and it was a bit dark inside.

We got seated quickly. It was very busy and loud. The restaurant was clean. They have tons of staff. Service was prompt. The food was good and the prices weren't bad. The menu has a lot of options. There are also outdoor semi covered tables to sit at.

I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while and finally got a chance to visit with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't as crowded as I expected as we were seated in a nice booth. The menu had some interesting breakfast items. The lunch side of the menu was less inventive with conventional sandwiches and such. I ordered the Tim's Scramble off of the Specials Menu on the board and my friend ordered one of the omelettes called The Verdict. The food was attractive and plentiful but my hash browns were slighty burnt on the top and that was the only part of them that were browned. Both of the dishes were properly cooked and were somewhat tasty but were pretty bland. The scrambled eggs had spinach in them but needed some fresh herbs or something else. We finished our meal with the cinnamon roll which was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and professional. There is a coffee bar on the other side of the restaurant that looked inviting. Despite the less than stellar food I plan on going back.

We went there for first time on Valentine's Day. Server didn't smile. Didn't introduce herself. Only 1 check back for coffee. Flavorless corn beef hash. Looked like blended old mashed potatoes with blended corn beef. The decor was pretty and we wanted a little ambiance. Or we would have gone to a chain restaurant. I wouldn't do again. Maybe it was our choice.
