Phenomenal flavors and fresh ingredients!!! I recently stayed at SPC Redmond hotel for business and had a delicious lunch. The grain and roasted vegetable bowl with blackened wild salmon. What took it over the top were the two sauces, including a roasted jalapeño cilantro, green sauce and a roasted Romanesco sauce. I paired it with a nonalcoholic IPA. It completely hit the spot and was a super satisfying meal. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to requests. Don't miss this gem!

Terra never disappoints for flavor, freshness, and quality. Now that they offer a lunch menu as well, I am super excited to have another place in Redmond to get great food in a great atmosphere as a mid-day treat!

The steak salad was quite good, was more hearty and earthy in flavor and texture which I quite enjoyed. Staff is friendly and pleasant atmosphere

Fantastic vegetarian dishes that are well thought out and delicious. The steak special was also great brought in from a local farm. Our kids really enjoyed the non-alcohol drink choices and the cocktails are fantastic. We loved the convenience of it being right next to our hotel!

Some of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever tried. Sublime flavors, perfect textures. The quinoa bowl tasted like autumn, with charred cauliflower and macadamia nuts. Every dish had a perfectly balanced flavor profile. Can't wait to visit again.

I’m sitting in Terra as I am writing this review. I’ll go through a breakdown of my review in the categories that matter for this location. Service: 5 stars The waitress has been super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The chef even came out and asked about the food or if we had questions. Location: 5 stars. We had no issues with parking because of the convenience of it being downtown. Ambiance: 4 stars They did good with the space that they had. I really enjoyed that they are getting plant life growing in almost any space available. The big kicker that dropped it down a point was the volume of the music. Food: 5 stars The dishes are DEFINITELY not a microwave dish that many restaurants do. Every dish we had exploded with different flavors. I will say, it was a bit spicy for my taste and I’ll probably ask them to tone down the spice next (and there will be a next time). Even though I am a wimp with spice I was able to handle it just fine. The food was amazing. If you really like meat, this is probably not for you. However, you don’t need to be a vegetation to enjoy this food (as I can attest). Overall: 5 stars. It was an experience to eat out and not just a convenience thing. Thank you Terra staff for being wholesome!

Everything from the music, decorations and presentation of the food was beautiful. The owners put so much time and detail into everything and it shows. The food and non-alcoholic beverages have so much craft and flavor. Everything is served as tapas which is my favorite way of dining out. Our waitress was extremely knowledgable, personable and super sweet. Food 10/10 service 11/10 Highly reccomend this place to anyone who's looking for something different in Central Oregon. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Loved our meal at Terra Kitchen. Nearly all the food was vegan, or marked on the menu if only vegetarian (some have dairy/eggs). We had a yellow beat salad, chick pea hash and mushroom terrine (toast). The desserts topped off the meals. We look forward to our next visit when we can try different menu items.

The food and atmosphere were awesome!! Seriously beautiful and tasty vegan options. We will definitely visit again. The cheesecake dessert was so good I considered seconds, lol. Everything was very fresh, vibrant and satisfying. Thank you for the great service!

As plant-based diners even though it is easy to find options in Central Oregon, high caliber dining is often missing; but I can tell you that we had amazing dinner at Terra Kitchen. The Patatas Bravas were an enjoyable appetizer of almost a Syracuse style potato with chimichurri. A large portion was served, and we could see why they recommend sharing, there was more than enough for the 2 of us. For entrees The Persian Stew was on point with a variety of vegetables on a base of basmati rice with a toasted / lightly charred Sourdough side. The stew had a variety of seasonings that were perfectly balanced and tempered. It was 1/2 price pizza night, and it seemed every table occupied had at least one pizza on it, so we chose that to accompany the stew as an entree and were delighted by the flavor profile and the 48-hour fermented crust it was listed as Sweet & Spicy and over the plant-based cheese and vegetables was drizzled a spicy honey - who knew?!? For dessert we split 2 different options - a cheesecake that to us seemed a cross between the best parts of cheesecake and Creme Brulé plated with fresh berries and candied nuts, as well as Chocolate Mousse minus the Chantilly - both were exceptional. Paired with a bottle of Dominus, the meal was outstanding. Terra has a friendly, intimate, and comfortable atmosphere. We highly recommend this place if you haven't discovered it already.

If you are looking for personable and thoughtful service and a beautifully curated vegan menu, literally just take two steps down from SCP hotel to Terra! The summer roots plate brings color and taste that just feels good. Great atmosphere and a very talented kitchen.

My girlfriend and I visited Terra Kitchen the other day and had a pleasant experience. The inside is quite bland but fitting for the atmosphere they are trying to portray, which is a "from the earth/soil" theme. We ordered the Papa Brava appetizer which was good, although we forgot and did not know what the brown dipping sauce was. Then we shared a Pasta Primavera dish and we both enjoyed it. Only thing is that I wish the wine pours were more than 5oz. I would pay extra for it :) Love the vegetarian options. Thank you!

Food was delicious! All vegetarian options. Fresh products and service was quick. Staff all friendly and attentive. Would recommend the beat salad and margarita pizza. Also before 5:30 their meals are 50% off?!?? That is a deal you can’t beat!! Would recommend and definitely coming again if we are in town!

Fantastic. We were a bit skeptical about the meat-free menu, but took the plunge. So, so, so worth it! Great bread, interesting flavors all around. Pesto tartine with hazelnuts and mushrooms on thick slabs of fresh bread killed it. Paella had crispy rice and interesting veg. Super cool (and tasty) chorizo flavored cauliflower. Then pasta primavera with big hunks of burrata and a wonderful lemony freshness. Too full for desert. Good drinks too! Redmond punching above its weight.

I was with a great group of friends so we decided to try multiple items off the menu. 1st: the service was outstanding! All smiles and accommodating. 2nd: we started with groundworks salad, pizza picante with chimichurri for appetizer, finished with the ribeye steak. .. all the food was ART. Outstanding! p.s. the margaritas are decadent Don't miss out!

This was a nice place to eat with higher quality food. They don't use seed oils (like canola etc), use grass fed meats, and their menu rotates based on what's in season. They even had fancy drinks for the kids that were sweetened with honey, some herbs or fruit, sparkling water (no sugar syrup used). We've almost stopped eating out entirely because restaurant food is so unhealthy; it was nice to enjoy a meal out here with food that was good and wouldn't make us regret eating there. It's rare to come across a restaurant like this. It wasn't cheap but it also cost less than some other "higher end" establishments in town that served typical restaurant food.

Amazing and unexpected combinations and stellar service. Great cocktail and local PNW wine list. Good value for the offerings. Love the decor.

It is rare to find a restaurant that doesn’t use toxic seed oils. Terra Kitchen is not only seed oil free but the food was amazing. I had the salmon, my husband had the ribeye, and my son had a pizza. I wish I didn’t live so far away or I would be a regular here. Good quality, delicious food and great service and atmosphere.

Amazing. It's vegetarian, but so eye opening for the meat eaters of the family! The mushrooms in the Gnocchi made the dish so rich. The staff was incredible! Made us feel at home and the chef also came to chat with us which was special. Cocktails and wine selection were great in combination with the perfect ambiance. I would highly recommend coming here!

First don’t be fooled, they cook more than just veggies, they make magic out of everything they plate! Best mushroom risotto I’ve ever had and my father is from Italy, the vegetables are out of this world and menu is seasonal. The steak was better than restaurant in bend hands down. I’ve walk my dogs by this place for years since they have opened and can’t pass by now without drooling! Thanks crew, you’re amazing and I’ll be spreading the word.

Terra Kitchen is a new favorite. Each experience has exceeded expectations. Our server is one of the most delightful women I have ever met. I think anyone who is in her presence is better for it. The food is exceptional with unique and familiar flavors. Worth our drive from sisters or anywhere within 100 miles.

Ok, not at all what I expected when we walked in the door. Set up more like a diner which honestly kind of set me back a little. I'm a senior and used to certain things, but Sarah our server was great and even wished us happy anniversary! I was a little hesitant ordering but when that food came out.... Oh my!! Presentation was excellent and my dish was created to perfection! My husband was incredibly surprised and we both were extremely satisfied. Flavors were phenomenal!! Kudos to the chef and all the staff. We definitely recommend this as an A+ spot!!

My husband I had an outstanding lunch at Terra today! They said they had just opened for lunch and it wasn’t a disappointment. The food was so fresh and they had a wonderful selection of dishes. I would definitely go back and I would also try it for dinner. I highly recommend this awesome restaurant.

I was thrilled to experience this level of flavor and presentation at a Central Oregon restaurant, especially when so many options feel overpriced and mediocre. Our party of four ordered as much of the menu as we could, eager to try everything. Every dish—from the starters to the entrées, desserts, and cocktails—was fantastic and memorable. This is now our #1 dining spot in Redmond.

Absolutely delicious food. I ate here three nights in a row. Love how fresh and tasteful the food is. I was highly impressed with every dish we ordered and we pretty much ordered the entire menu within our party. Not a bad bite at all.

Hidden gem in Redmond, only 20 min from Bend. The food was exceptional with depth of flavor and all very fresh locally sourced ingredients. The cocktails were amazing especially the Sangria which they change with the seasons. Then there was the roasted strawberry sorbet!!!! Amazing! Service was prompt and staff very friendly and caring. Highly recommended and would definitely return!

First time tried lots of different things, the flavors were unique, good, and interesting. Tried the bread service very good bread on its own but the chimichurri made it great, the patatas were exceptional cooked perfectly a little crunch with tender inside and the flavors . . . Grilled vegetables were cooked perfect and the sweet onion soubise was great. Spinach salad full of a variety of flavors and textures, the toasted pita was a great surprise. Service was helpful and great

One of the best meals I have had in Central Oregon since moving here in 2004. Beautifully prepared and seasoned potatoes, roasted vegetables and the most delicious lamb chops.

Super delicious! I think they may serve some meats or dairy now, but am not sure. They were the best for vegan in Redmond and probably still are.

BEST restaurant in Central OR!!! Staff works incredibly hard. Roger and Sarah are true professionals. Chef Erin is at the top of her game, so all praise to her and her team. The menu is very diverse with steak, seafood, pizza, and amazing side dishes. There is truly something for everyone.

We loved all of the food here! We split a couple appetizers and a couple pizzas and everything was delicious. We loved the plant-forward nature of all of the food and it was all very high-quality. The ambiance and decor was adorable - I loved the plants. I appreciated that they had several yummy non-alcoholic cocktail options (the lemon lavender was tasty!). They accommodated our slightly fussy baby very well and even wanted to give him a snuggle, so sweet. Wonderful little place! Would recommend to anyone.

Due to some flight issues, I had to stay overnight in Redmond unexpectedly. Terra Kitchen was conveniently attached to the hotel I was staying at, so I decided to give it a try. Boy, was I glad I did! It was hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and it turned what could have been a stressful situation into a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy yet modern, with a relaxed vibe that was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The menu had a fantastic variety of options, but I was particularly drawn to the mushroom dishes. Every dish I tried was a testament to the chef's skill and passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Mushroom Tartine was an absolute standout, with the perfect balance of flavors and just the right amount of goat cheese. What impressed me the most was the impeccable service. The staff was always attentive without being intrusive. My water glass was never empty, and the food came out hot and fresh, timed perfectly. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience. I left Terra Kitchen feeling completely satisfied and grateful for the unexpected detour in my travel plans. It’s rare to find a place that excels in both food quality and customer service, but Terra Kitchen surpassed all my expectations. If you find yourself in Redmond, whether by chance or by choice, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Our friends had suggested we go to Terra Kitchen for dinner. 2 out of 4 of us are vegetarian and the menu has an extensive choice to suit there needs. We went for happy hour ( 4 -5:30 ) and started out with 2 appetizers .Patatas Bravas- fingerling potatoes, garlic, herbs, saffron aioli, All Kale Caesar -house dressing, croutons, manchego. Off to a good start. The fingerling potatoes were a big hit. They were very tasty. With it being happy hour you can get buy one pizza and get a second one at 1/2 off. We ordered a Veggie Supreme with barbequed jackfruit, veggie meatballs, olives, red onion, bell pepper, house tomato basil sauce onion and a Humble Pig with coppa salami, speck ham, locally sourced pork sausage, caramelized onion, house tomato basil sauce, spicy honey. Our wives had the Veggie Supreme. They liked the pizza except for the veggie meatballs. The taste and texture were not to their liking. My friend and I had the Humble Pig. We both enjoyed our pizza. Our server was very nice . She was informative and friendly. She did an odd thing. With our order of our appetizers the sever took it upon herself to upgrade our order without asking us. It would be curtious to ask us if that would be ok. I would try some other entre next time we visit.

This review is really for my gluten free/celiac people who are wanting to try their gluten free pizzas. I usually like their food, it’s satisfying and feels clean. I believe their menu changes seasonally as well, which is always nice. As for their gluten free pizza: I’d heard their pizzas were good, so I decided to try the Deschutes Mushroom Pizza with the DD Ranch Sausage and gluten free crust. It tasted good. Though by the time I got home, I regretted the decision. I felt like I needed to puke, like the food was stuck in my throat or on its way out. All I could do was drink water and hope I could sleep. Woke up feeling nauseous, but experimented: ate the leftover pizza for lunch, with the same result. I’m gluten free because my doctor found that I”m close to celiac. I wonder if there was a mistake in the kitchen and my request for a gluten-free crust was not accommodated; I can’t think of any other reason why I’d have such a reaction. I felt awful. I will definitely be sticking to their entrees moving forward.

I am sad to write this one. My birthday dinner at Terra didn't quite meet the excitement I had built up based on the raving reviews. While the prosciutto-wrapped dates were tasty, I couldn't help but feel they were missing a little something, perhaps a little glaze to add a punch of flavor. Unfortunately, the roasted squash and potatoes were a disappointment – they were incredibly dry and hard to eat, which was unexpected, especially from a restaurant known for its focus on fresh, vegetable-forward dishes. Despite these culinary setbacks, the Ribeye steak came through as a delicious highlight of the meal and was cooked perfectly. Our drinks were delicious. Additionally, the service was exceptional – the staff was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Despite this underwhelming experience, I'm inclined to attribute it to an off night, especially considering the contrasting positive reviews. I believe Terra deserves another chance, and I'm hopeful that a return visit will showcase their true culinary prowess.

Shocked. What happened? A bait and switch? I hate having to write this review, however I feel like as someone who enjoyed Terra with regularity, it’s only fair to warn both new customers and old timers. We dined at Terra several times over the past 11 months or so that they have been open…and had loved every experience, until tonight. We ordered several of our favorites including the Mushroom Tartine appetizer and the Paella, only to be confronted by portions HALF the size of what they used to be. I kid you not. Excuse me, what?! In the past the Mushroom Tartine appetizer was served on two large slices of sourdough (cut in half), heaped with mushroom goodness. This time it was one slice (cut in half) and literally half the portion it used to be…only enough for one person for $15. The Paella was even more disappointing, it kinda broke my heart. What was once a vibrant and impressive dish, was now a small, less than tasty, incredibly over salted portion of rice with a small scatter of vegetables. Again, half the size of what they used to serve…. Yet for the same price. What once felt reasonably priced at $26 for a nice sized, shareable portion, now felt incredibly over priced for size, taste and quality. As a regular customer I feel as though they’ve really pulled a bait and switch on their customers - I can no longer claim this as my favorite restaurant and we all felt like we sadly could not ever recommend this place again to friends and family. We understand that food costs have gone up, along with other inflation related costs- but trust me, your customers would rather pay the slight increase than be confronted by half portions at the same price they used to pay for the double the portion of food. For reference, I’m sharing old photos of what the food USED to look like. The impressive stuff they were known and adored for serving. Terra, maybe you could use these as reference for improvement?

Questionable sourcing of ingredients. Mushrooms in pasta seemed to come from a can. Red cabbage in salad was dry and aged. Lamb meatballs were less than lukewarm. I am curious about so many 5 star ratings.

We have been several times but last night was the last time.., had a reservation and were seated, we had brought drinks over from the attached bar (Wayfarer). We promptly ordered dinner and then sat for an hour with not another word from our waitress. Our drinks gone, no food, no explanation, I was astounded. There were other waitstaff attending their tables, food was obviously slow to come, but no acknowledgement from our particular waitress. She finally came running up as we rose to leave and said "this won't happen next time, I'm so sorry". We told her there definitely won't be a next time and left...this place is so poorly run. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere
