Amazing food and fantastic service. So lucky to have this place in our neighborhood. Definitely worth checking out. We randomly saw it and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Now we regular customers!
Just received my first delivery from China Coast. I'm new to the area and am thrilled to have found a Chinese restaurant w/ FREE delivery, that's FAST and the food is GREAT!! The prices are very reasonable considering the area. China Coast just earned a repeat customer! P.S. The veggie egg foo young was fierce!!
The Wonton soup should be part of a doctors recommendation for any cold or flu like feeling, because when you just begin to sip that broth, you're immediately beginning to feel so much better, and of course it tastes incredibly good!!!! I love the chicken dishes and the fried dumplings. Terriaki or orange chicken is so good that you'll be like "Panda What's it called?" You'll never go to Panda again!! Delicious
The service is always amazing..the girl who answers the phone to take orders is the sweetest. The food is always so delicious
Fantastic take out Chinese. Big portions. Quick service. Pork Chow Fun is great. Orange chicken is always good.
The food was delicious! I will definitely purchase again!
Ive been coming here since I landed my first job at the car wash across the street from here, that was 18 years ago... The food was great then and still is. My #1 place to go for a Chinese food /or a really good mea... Soups are awesome as well. Enjoy
Best Chinese food in the SouthBay! Great weekday lunch special. Also good family dinner combos. They also deliver if needed, no american express. Happy Eats!
I have not been here in person i just order constantly via postmates so i figured that after 5 or so orders i should review the food- its quite deliteful, not too greasy like other places nor riddled with strange flavors like many chinese food restaurants. I recommend the orange chicken, chow mein and white rice.
This is exactly what you want in Chinese takeout. Food is great and fast! the food is ready usually 10 min after call (I always get pickup)
I have eaten here since I was 12 and lived nearby . over the years even from big bear and riverside if im in south bay I grab china coast . Its become a tradition in the fam. China coast and a picnic at the beach no where compares !!! Great service , friendly faces and the best food !
Excellent food, friendly service and no heating lamps!!!! Authentic Asian dishes cooked when you order. Their Mongolian Beef was to die for. Can't wait to go back and try their pan fried noodles.
Great for what it has to offer. This is the best hole in the wall in the area. Lunch special is very good value for the $. Fried rice and Pan fried noodles are my faves. Food is usually ready in 5 to minutes for take out. Taste is good and not as oily as many others.
Menu has a wide variety of tasty traditional dishes. Family size portions are a great value. Nice vibe from the staff. Overall, good spot to pick up a tasty affordable meal with filling portions that will satisfy your family's needs.
Good choice if you want to get your Chinese take out food fix!
Lovely food and delightful staff. Very helpful when placing our order. 10/10
Everything was delicious! Best egg drop soup.
The staff is very helpful and the food has never disappointed.

My family ordered dinner from here and I came to pick it up and they were very quick. After I had arrived home we noticed our beef was far overcooked however we called back and they made us a new batch. As I went to pick up new order the very nice woman cashier apologized and threw in some wontons. Great customer service and really appreciated them, will be back.
Great takeout Chinese food. It's a small location, but there are a few countertops inside. I've never had an issue with my order here, and I don't think I've ever had anything I disliked from China Coast.
"The orange chicken and the Kung Pao chicken here were great! The lo mein noodles are thin, but they still tasted wonderful. Service was good, as usual. I will definitely be coming back for that orange chicken!"

BBQ pork fried rice, great! Shrimp fried rice, great! Lo mein, great! Fried chicken wings, extra crispy, great! Sesame chicken, great! Wonton soup, healing!! FYI: THEY DO NOT OPEN AT 11 AM.
Great Chinese takeout. Fast. Tasty. Affordable. My only reason for four vs fine stars is the won tons have not been hot and crisp as they should be. Hope they are checking their reviews!
Very generous portion! 4 stars because I specifically asked for lots of hot sauce but they gave me z-e-r-o hot sauce and whole bunch of soy sauce instead.
Took a chance on this place, which I have driven by weekly for years and years, always curious as to what it was like. Puts all other takeout Chinese to shame. Only complaint I have about this place, is that I spent years eating from bobo's, instead of this little gem.
Fast Delivery. We get delivering this restaurant since we moved to Redondo Beach. The orange chicken is the best—however, most food here is average. This is the spot if you want to have Chinese food at home delivery
Went for lunch and food was pretty good. Ordered sweet & sour chicken, chicken was tender and the vegetables still had a bite to them. Fairly sweet so I prefer to get steamed white rice rather than the fried rice. Got 2 egg rolls on the side which were hot and fresh, definitely coming back again. I recommend also trying the sesame chicken or the green beans

The food here used to be better. I don't know what changed in the last couple of months. Still OK, but not the best. We are definitely in search of a new Chinese fast food restaurant.
Food is good. They get 3 stars because they constantly get orders wrong. They don't listen very well. Always rushing it seems like.
I could of used more veggies in my chow mein. Too many noodles
Food is pretty good for the price. Generous portions. More like family style portions. I really liked the fried rice. Very good. The reason why I gave it three stars is for two reasons. They have a table inside where you can sit down and eat and some seating along the windows and a table outside as well. I asked to eat there and they still served my meal in a to-go-box. I guess they don't have bowls and plates to serve in. I had no leftovers so I just threw away my container. The second reason was that when I arrived I had to go the restroom badly and asked if I could use their restroom. The girl said that they didnt have restrooms. I became very annoyed because I also didn't have anywhere to go to wash my hands before I ate. I don't understand how a restaurant can sell drinks and food and have SEATING and not have a RESTROOM. I asked myself this question, where do they go to the restroom and if they don't have a restroom do they even wash their hands? How did they even get an A rating if they don't offer restrooms for customers. Anyway, at this point I'm not sure if I'll return.

First time I went food was amazing. I just get orange chicken and chow mein. Went again tonight and the chicken just felt meatless. Like it was all breading. Was pretty upset bc it does get pricey compared to other Chinese spots. Dropped 20$ on just these two items. I’ll likely be giving one more try to decide if it will become a go to spot for me tho. Wouldn’t reccomend if ur out the area. But if you live nearby I say why not

Food was hot and portions were good. There were several pieces of all fat in the dish which was unpleasant to chomp into. No utensils came with the order and being at a hotel I ended up trying to eat with my fingers. The stuffed wontons were thinly filled. Just a combination of things that led to disappointment. I probably was on the unlucky side of a busy night.
We've been ordering from China Coast for a few years. When ordering recently, we found the site had changed. Although we only live 2.2 miles away, it now said we were out of the delivery area. Also, for the second time in a row, the food was meh.
Food is good. But all of a sudden options are when ordering online are gone…on their platform (eat street) no option for white meat for Sweet & Sour Chicken, or choosing brown rice etc or on a delivery service (doordash, grubhub, etc.) Szechuan Beef doesn’t show up as an entree. i used to order here once a week, but not anymore…Fix this!
We decided to try and you New place for takeout or for Chinese. And it was just OK. I honestly don’t think I would order from there again. The Mushu chicken might have been the best thing we ordered. The Mongolian beef was Megan Lee onions and very little amount of beef. The fried rice was very bland and had no real flavors. I love it out but it was very dry. And with the food being this quality, are you sure you charge a premium. For these three things it cost $50 to pick it up
We ordered 3 separated dishes and sadly they were all sub par. The Mongolian beef was okay in terms of flavor but when I took a bite I noticed that it was undercooked. Also it felt like it consisted mostly of onion. Next the Orange chicken we ordered looked and smelled nice but was literally only 20% chicken at most. That and the chicken was clearly not cooked thoroughly. Lastly they somehow managed make the white rice taste bad. It was undercooked, dirty looking and stale. For the prices they charge I excepted at minimum a decent tasting meal. That was not the case. I cut pieces up to show how clearly undercooked the meat was.

Not even close to authentic. I have tried 7 of their dishes. Irregular portion size also. For example, they put sweet & sour sauce on bbq pork, but some funny sauce on sweet & sour dishes. Terrible all around.
Seafood soup was 10.99 dollars it’s 3 tiny shrimp and squid vegetables it was not worth 10.99 dollars it’s worth 99 c,white food servers didn’t care you at all he didn’t give me a folk and towel how can I eat soup with my fingers?that was awful, kitchen is was look so dirty,Chinese cook didn’t wear glove and mask in this pandemic time, The seafood soup was toooooo salty Was not good at all
Ordered delivery. No fork, spoon, knife. Called and was told, "should've asked for it". Staying at a hotel and they don't have them. Had to buy cutlery at a local store.
Some of the worst Chinese food I've had in a long time. Chicken was nasty and cheap, tasted and looked like industrial reconstituted chicken or it was seagull. Fried rice was bland lacking salt sugar and 5 spice, while having frozen peas and carrots mixed with real onion. Lacked flavor needed scallions. Id say avoid this place at all costs. Wish I never walked in the door. Edit: sent me to the bathroom with in 30 mins and I have an iron stomach and have been eating real spicy food since I'm 10. Run from this place anyone who has given this place 5 stars has never had real Chinese.
I got o wonton soup and I noticed a little green thing with many legs oh man and the carrot 🥕 taste like spoiled or something this was my last wonton soup 🍲 from this place plus is pricey they not even rinse the vegetables that's insane man!!
Beware, if you ask them whether the Kung Pao Chicken is made with white meat, Kimberly will say yes, but it's actually made with dark meat, complete with all the disgusting crunchy ligaments and non-meat connectve tissue. Thanks for ruining my dinner. I would have paid extra for white meat if you had simply told the truth.

I visited tonight craving Chinese food and had a mixed experience that unfortunately ended in a refund. The young lady who took my order was very sweet and polite. However, she didn't mention there would be a one-hour wait until after I had already paid. Since I didn't want to wait that long, I politely asked for a refund. It seemed the cashier was unsure of how to process it, so she called her supervisor over. As soon as I explained the situation to the supervisor, she immediately "blew up" at the cashier right in front of me. As someone who also works with the general public, I was honestly shocked. Publicly embarrassing an employee is never the right way to handle a mistake or a training moment. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. I hope the manager realizes that her behavior was more disappointing than the long wait time, and I truly hope she apologized to the cashier. The food might be good, but the management style needs work. ***Update*** They cancelled my refund and the charge remains on my credit card. I had to file a dispute with my credit card to get a refund. Avoid this place… there is something seriously wrong with these people.
Sorry to report the food is awful. I got the lunch special Mongolian beef was horrible. I ordered chow mein also and it had no flavour. I ate there a month ago thinking maybe it was an off day for the chef. Nope it’s just terrible food.
Ordered a $26 plate. As I was eating, there was a gang of water from the broccoli at the bottom of my plate. I’m disappointed
Reposted again! They closed down for roaches and rats last year. Haven't been back!
I used to go to this place all the time, 10 years later here we are and everything is a soggy disappointing mess where I could get better from frozen stuff at Costco. Never making a food choice off misplaced nostalgia again. Not close to worth its cost.
Please be careful. LA county public health department temporarily closed them after failing inspection.
