Shout out to Angel, the manager in charge for fixing my drive thru order. He was kind, patient and was willing to remake my whole plate when I just wanted my missing entrees.
I have to say, I was taken aback by the negative buzz surrounding this Panda Express in Rialto. My wife and I decided to give it a try last Wednesday, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Upon walking in, we found the restaurant to be moderately clean and inviting - definitely not the chaotic atmosphere that some reviews suggested! The ambiance was actually quite decent; it had a relaxed vibe that made it perfect for enjoying dinner. What truly stood out was the service. Right from the get-go, the staff greeted us warmly and attended to our needs promptly. The food was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes (Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Beijing Beef, Mushroom Chicken, and String Bean Chicken Breast), and each one was executed perfectly - packed with flavor and cooked just right. I think people often forget how consistent and tasty Panda Express can be, and it’s easy to see that the Rialto location takes that to heart. Plus, the prices are right in line with what you’d expect from any other Panda Express, so it was a win-win! In our experience, everything was on point, from the service to the food quality. Honestly, we walked out with happy bellies and no complaints to whatsoever. We left with a positive impression and are looking forward to visiting again.
The sizzling shrimp side, seriously skipped out on the shrimp. There weren't very many in there at all. It tasted OK. It wasn't disgusting, but I suppose after you've had P.F. Chang's all the rest of the "Gormet Chinese" food establishments are just trash.
Can we not be lazy and stop using the AI assistant, it couldn’t get my simple order correct. (Half and half fried rice/chow mein) When I ask to correct at window they give me all white rice instead…I can just make that at home.
Super excited to use a drive though for panda only for it to be an AI assistant that wasn’t able to get any of our order correct despite being clear and detailed with our order. When we asked to speak to a representative we were approached with a rude attitude and unhelpful customer support. Really disappointed and frustrated experience. Panda Express shouldn’t be using an AI device especially if it doesn’t work correctly and employees are unwilling to help out.
Service and food was good but we did not like the AI in the drive through. Your order doesn't even show up on the screen so you can verify your order. The people were very nice at the pay window.
Told to wait out front for the rest of the order because there were cars behind us, so we waited 10 minutes, and went inside to find the order on a shelf to be delivered to me??? Poor customer service at the window from Roxie who had a nice nasty smile. Oh, and my order was missing the spring rolls.
Usually food is good to go. Tonight food was cold and off tasting. We felt something was wrong with the food after only a couple of bites. Returned ( 8 miles) back to restaurant to return food. At first they didn't want to give a refund. I explained to the manager that you had us pull around and park to wait for our food. A 8 miles car ride shouldn't leave freshly made food like warm. Then they agreed to give a refund, and to add insult to injury made me pay a higher price for the chesse wontons my kid ate in the car ride back home. Classy. I guess you get what you get when you go for fast food.
The portion size is smaller than usual. It's like you get more when you get off and eat. Paid $35, got 3 plates, and seemed like a rip-off.
Horrible service waited 30mins in the drive-thru line for pre-made food, it’s not like they are making each order fresh (make it make sense)!! On top of that I was late returning to work from lunch and this was me skipping even paying for the food, I just kept driving! I will never eat Panda or support this business again the food isn’t even good nowadays.
Just went to this location to try to have a meal with my family …. We were about to order when I noticed that the girl taking care of our food took a dirty plate and star serving my sons rice in there at which I said NO use a clean one how you are going to do that ? She just said that was ok that they just dump the rice from some one that didn’t one to order anymore and then proceeded to put back the rice that she serve on the dirty dish to the restaurant tray and then took a clean plate and tried to serve again !! How is this possible if they do that in front of the clients I don’t want to even think what they do when we can’t see them …. Don’t go to this location !!!!!
Anything using AI is silly. I want the human interaction and dont like being recorded.
Not only is the AI in the drive thru inconvenient, but every time I've come just for a pickup order, I end up waiting 30+ minutes, even if there's only one person ahead of me in line. Not sure why it takes them so long every single time when it's never super busy.
Get rid of the terrible AI, It's nothing but frustration and it doesn't work. After it stops working it rings a phone to someone not even at the store who you can barely understand. Go back to the traditional drive thru worker.
I had a really disappointing experience at this Panda Express. The service from Cynthia was not friendly at all her demeanor made it seem like she didn’t want to be there, and her attitude from the start set a negative tone. On top of that, the food was below the usual Panda Express standard. The rice tasted burnt, and the orange chicken was so overcooked and crispy that my fork couldn’t even go through it. Overall, both the service and food left a lot to be desired.
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn future customers: if you’re planning to use the drive-thru at this Panda Express location, make sure you don’t have anywhere to be for the next hour. I genuinely thought I could squeeze in a quick meal— what I got instead was a masterclass in time dilation.
The food here seems to always be off. I prefer other locations. The chow main tonight was full of huge uncooked veggies and barely any noodles. Also didn’t enjoy AI taking my order.
Very disappointing experience at Panda Express. The food lacked flavor—the chow mein was bland, and the teriyaki chicken was undercooked with a rubbery texture and excessive fat. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location based on my visit.
AI in drive through is a disaster! Only giving any star because the cashier was super sweet. But whoever decided to add AI to the drive through has created unnecessary extra work, stress and delays in the process. Huge fail!
This location is not good! Out of the 3 time's I've been here there's always something wrong. They either forget an item or give you the last of an item just to keep the drive thru going. Today's experience was horrible but what else could I expect from Panda Express. The Chow mein is mostly onions and cabbage and they only serve you enough for two bites. Waste of money and lunch time.
