Delicious beef and chicken fajitas!! We had Fajitas Pete....cater dinner for 30 hard to please professionals....it was a lovely meal. The quality and juicy taste of the beef and chicken were excellent with great homemade queso, guacamole, beans, and rice. The salsa has a nice bite. All in all the food was delicious; Swami was the perfect server/caterer who anticipated our guests' needs. Our dinner was successful thanks to the quality of the food and service.

my parents and i come here often and i always forget to write a review but today’s service was above and beyond ! i’m not sure what his name is but i’m guessing he’s a manager, we pulled up pretty early and he asked us if we wanted something to drink while we waited for our order to come out since we were going to wait a few minutes, that sense of customer service goes along way and i just wanted to thank you guys for all you do. The fajitas are always so juicy and tender we usually order for 2 people but this time we went ahead and order for 4 for 62$ and do not regret it!! Amazing !

The beef quesadilla was great, and the taste of the burrito was good too. The service was quick too, even on a Sunday evening. The only issue I had was with the chicken burrito, it had 5 hard pieces it in (seemed like pebbles). It made it very uncomfortable to eat, as I never knew if another one would show up. I have been to fajita Pete's before and I expected better quality control. ------------------------------------------------------ Went back and the beef quesadillas were still great and so was the beef taco salad. Really appreciated the courtesy of reaching out to fix any issues with the food.

Customer service was good, the fajita beef and chicken -- so, so tender. The fajita vegetables were cooked through and very flavorful -- a nice, diverse blend of veggies, the portabella mushrooms being everyone's favorite. The rice was flavorful and light -- not greasy or too spicy. I heard that the flour tortillas were also really good. I the guacamole was really fresh, with nice chunks of avocado, a nice combination of flavors. Great quality of food in all!

One of my favorite spots to get fajitas. They are quick and always polite. Their margaritas are amazing as well!! Also a good choice for feeding a large family or for a small gathering.

This is my once a week go to when I don’t have time to cook. I have small kids and love that they bring it out to my car so I don’t have to unbuckle their seatbelts. And the food is consistently great, love the homemade flour tortillas.

We ordered lunch for our office after hours for pickup right after open — and it was hot and ready (and smelled FANTASTIC all my drive back to the office… we are a bit too far for delivery). First time in. Came with a couple guys from work, walked in and the owner was there. After talking to him, he suggested a couple things, we got the beef fajitas, he brought us each a pulled pork taco, everything was very tasty. The chips were some of the best I have ever had! This is a place I will be going back to. Do note, they only have a couple tables, but they do deliver. It seemed like a pizza shop, more than a sit down restaurant. But the food was great no matter.

It’s a nice quantity of food for the price. Orders are usually ready quickly. The curbside pickup is a well-oiled machine.

Very tasty fajitas!!! Decided to try whatever place I had seen with lots of smoke coming from within. It smelled delicious so wanted to give it a try. Glad I did! Our meal both times we've visited now has been great. Rice is seasoned and refried beans are pretty decent, nothing a little of their delicious salsa can't fix. Only down side was the flour tortillas are a bit thin, but still they're homemade. They're always fast to get the order ready and everything is in the bag as we ordered unlike a lot of places (I always check the bag first before leaving).

you don't go for the ambience, really - you go for the food and the service. take people you like, and the ambience isn't important. stellar fajitas and guac and flour tortillas. above-and-beyond service, worthy of fine dining.

We dined in at Fajita Pete’a today, after only having done take-out before. Food was excellent as always, and the service - friendliness and attentiveness of the staff - was phenomenal. We even sampled the new frozen strawberry margaritas - yum! Also great value for money.

Ordering fajitas for a large group always gives me anxiety because I never think it's going to be enough. NEVER a problem here... I don't know why I was worried. I ordered fajitas for 10 and it easily fed 6 adults and 4 children- we didn't even eat HALF of the food! The price is reasonable too- I priced out Kim Son and Maggianos as well and FP's was the least expensive by far. Also, the online ordering process is *chef's kiss* Would definitely order from here again and again.

We have been with Fajita Pete's for years. They are part of the neighborhood of Southside Place & West University, and the family-owned aspect makes them part of the fabric of this community. Our meal was for a family of 4 and we still had leftovers. The portions are generous. The flavor is mouth watering delicious.

They have the BEST tortillas in Houston! The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff and managers were friendly and welcoming. My only regret is that I didn't order a second order of tortillas to bring home. Oh! And the frozen margarita 🍹 was amazing!! Great way to start the weekend!

This was our first visit to this location and it will most likely become our favorite. Upon entering the establishment, we were immediately greeted by the staff. We shared 1 pound of Chicken Fajitas with all the trimmings and Lemonade. As we were waiting for our meal, the employees came to our table and spoke with us. As it turns out, had we arrived 20 minutes earlier - we would have met Mr. Pete , the owner of Fajita Pete's. There is also a Happy Hour featuring great margaritas and discount prices on some of the appetizers. Catering Menu is also available. If you want authentic fajitas... this is the spot!

We were greeted by the owner. Great person and his staff is amazing! The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken is very juicy and full of flavor. The fajitas are also great. It all started with the nice warm Salsa and fresh chips. The beef fajitas are exceptional with all the fresh sides and home made tortillas. Salvador and the rest of the staff were very attentive throughout our experience. The horchata was amazing not overly sweet and delicious. Portions are generous and we highly recommend this establishment.

Great hospitality! I didn’t come in as a customer, but will forever be one at this location. I came in seeking refuge from the pouring rain after my truck broke down outside the restaurant. We loved it! It's a small space, there's maybe 4-5 tables in total for dine in and we noticed that most of the business was delivery/takeout but the food was so good and we were the only seated table for most of our meal so we didn't mind. The prices were very reasonable & the margaritas were not overloaded with sweet & sour. Seriously this place is underrated!

I use to have a meat market in San Antonio that had the best beef and chicken fajita meat that I could purchase and grill them up for 30 years. Unfortunately COVID hit and they didn’t make it through. Up until 2 weeks ago I had been unable to find anything remotely close to what I was use to. That was until I stumbled across Fajita Pete’s and gave them a shot. Well, I now have a favorite place I will get my fajitas from barring any catastrophes. This was a blessing in my mind. My fajita void has been solved.

We love the “protein only” option since we never eat the mountains of refried beans with rice and barrels of salsa included in a meal. The salsa was served warm, and you could definitely tell the chips were freshly made in-house every day. Tony, the staff member, was super kind, and the whole team was welcoming. Great food, friendly helpful staff, but this is just a pickup up point location (with margaritas) though it never pretended to be anything else. You know it's good when you're full, take another bite because it's so good.... and it's still good!!! As a connoisseur of Mexican food, I can, without a doubt state that you can not find better than Fajita Pete's, from the top notch QUALITY, to the exceptional GREAT value!!! Locations all over Houston, and opening soon in Chicago and Pittsburgh (y'all are in for such a wonderful experience!!!)... while 80% of their business is catering to the Med center and Greenway Plaza area, plus weddings and etc.... AND THEY DELIVER to your house (within vicinity)... I was fortunate enough to actually meet Pete (couldn't have met a nicer person - he has a great heart combined with a business savvy mind - while keeping the best prices I've seen in years)... I even spoke with Pete about increasing his prices, but he explained that he wants everyone to be able to enjoy a great meal at a wonderful price (daily full meal offerings for $9.99). Not only is it full of quality and low on price, the extras they bring is over the top - we ordered mixed fajitas for 2 (choices of beef, chicken, carnitas, veggie, shrimp - we chose beef and carnitas), the extras for this was... cheese, Pico, jalapeño toreado, lettuce and guacamole), plus the rice and beans and sour cream if you like. Wait, wait, wait... it started with warmed salsa and chips (YAAASSSSS)..... So, then we tasted their Tres leches (tres excellent!!!) and got their churros to go (SOOOOO YUMMY)... oh yea, we also had their Pete's Rita's (yup, can't go wrong here, 10.2%!!!)..... to sum it up, he's been in business for 16 years, and he's crushing it..... THIS RESTAURANT IS A MUST!!!!

Like ordering to go. Quick service, flavorful items on the menu, great when you don't want to fix yourself. They deliver!! Something happened since my last review, but my experience last Saturday does not match my expectations. Tough meat without the grilled onions, burnt tortillas, and 8 oz. cups of beans and rice are barely enough for one, let alone two. They could easily skip the stale and greasy tasting chips, and the picante sauce is watery and flavorless. Was my favorite to go place for a quick meal. No. Mas!

Great takeout restaurant but the flavor profile for their fajitas change every time I visit. I don’t want to say it’s “hit or miss” because it’s always delicious, but sometimes it’s just not as good as prior experiences. Despite the inconsistent flavors, you’re still getting Lupe’s styled quality fajitas for a fraction of the price. I’d rate it a 4.5 if I could.

Delivery: The Burrito was good. I'm not a fan of canned proceesed nacho cheese, but that came as a side and some warm salsa and chips. I also ordered a brownie, it was prepackaged which was a disappointment (and small) for $2.50. Total order was $20 (not bad).

First time ordering fajita Pete in a long time and I was kind of disappointed with the whole experience. I was really looking forward to their fajita, which I remembered to be hot and juicy, but the order I received was warm and the meat was dry. Also, I ordered half veggie and half fajita x 2 ppl, the veggie portion was more like a side and did not come with portobello. I will not be returning to this location, perhaps another location will be different.

Burrito was super big and had a great taste. Sercice was fast and they even brought it out to my car. But I was disappointed. I had mentioned to the cashier if chips come with each order, and he stated yes. I mentioned good because I have little ones that love chips, and he stated he would give me extra but only to get home and only to find one small bag. It was the little promise that gave me the great experience but to be crushed that it wasn't fulfilled.

The beef fajitas are excellent, possibility the best I've eaten. The rice and beans are just okay. The salsa used to be excellent, now it's just good. I'm not a fan of the new menu or the huge price increases over the last 8 years. For the price of takeout fajitas for two you could get them at a full service restaurant. Makes it harder to justify going to this Pete's.

Food was good, had the chicken quesadilla, lots of chicken and cheese, ot was all tasty. One issue though, I realize the salsa is "complimentary" but that does not good when the container is given to me practically empty! I would gladly have paid for it to get a decent amount

We ordered to go from here because we had a gift certificate. I don’t think the tortillas or service are fantastic. The meat is mediocre. I prefer Escalantes, Ninfas, or Lupe’s. It is more costly than other Mexican restaurants as well.

I use to love this place. The beef fajitas were second to none. Especially the beef quesadillas. Within the last few months their quality has been sub-par and inconsistent unfortunately. I'll order every once in awhile to see if the consistency is back. But man is it disappointing when it's a bad batch.

Ordered the chicken burrito, chips and a salsa. Chicken is mushy and has a poor distribution of seasoning. Tortilla was thin and under cooked. Burrito size was small compared to competitor burritos. Chips lack any significant crunch or flavor, falling apart in your mouth into an oily mess. I did not receive my salsa, so I will not comment on the quality. Would not order from here again, would not recommend to anyone. Paid roughly $12 after taxes.

The beef fajitas are not good. Sucks because it isn't necessarily cheap and because you have to pay extra if you want all beef. I also didn't care for the queso. The tortillas are nice and fresh, though.

Our office has eaten from here twice. Both times the quantity of the meat was not enough for the amount of people requested. We received this (picture) today. It is 4 chicken breasts and 4 fajitas for 12 people. Nowhere near enough. Everything else they supply properly, for the most part. Fajitas are delicious as well as many side items (salsa, queso, beans). Rice is mostly flavorless. While the taste is great, it does not make up for the insufficient amount of fajitas. Considering the price it simply isn’t realistic to order again. Unfortunately.

When this location first opened, the food was hot and delicious. I have witnessed a steady decline. My last visit the tortillas tasted like cardboard and had the same consistency. The fajitas were cold, dry and chewy without flavor. The staff seemed indifferent. Save your money and your time find somewhere else to eat

Ordered a burrito and I just received it. It's practically all rice and no meat. Description said it came with chips and salsa but it was not in my order. Not even salsa on the side and the food looks dry. This was my first time trying this place and it will be my last.

Order a meal that was $108 and this is all i got, when I called them to order I was told it can feed 6-8 people, is a small container with mix fajitas barely enough for two people. Small containers with the sides not even enough for 4 people…. Would never order from this place ever again. Absolutely a ripoff!
