Classic Dairy Queen. There's always a line at this one but it moves pretty fast.

I've been going to this Dairy Queen store since I was a child back in the 1960s. It's part of Riverside tradition and family history. We would bring our Irish Setters there and let them eat a cone with us every weekend. I still go there and have a Butterfinger Blizzard every week. That building is the best of vintage mid-century style. I'll do my best to keep it alive.

Yeah I think they're dipped cones are the best Cherry dipped on my in my book is probably the best but yet I haven't had them all so chocolate and Cherry so far I didn't Cherry rocks very good ice cream though very good so do it it's great place to have for Sunday on any day so be about it rock it

Loved the ice cream. Everything was great, however, the location is awkward, homeless around while you are ordering, felt a bit unsafe.

Ok there is no where like it around. Its really oldschool and takes you back to High school and that simplicity and innocence in life. Order on the sidewalk outside there is only an old wooden bench to sit on..... And thats just what is wright about this place. The staff consist of a bunch of wonderful moody teenagers that continually rotate new ones in. That is why this Dairy Queen can never be taken away. It needs to be designated a Riverside Cultural and Historical Landmark. A little secret order an old fashion soda in whatever flavor you like I like the chocolate. Its absolutely amazing.

This DQ is fantastic. I loved the staff, they're so friendly and have a great attitude. The ice cream is so good also. Definitely coming back here again.

Went to this dairy Queen last night I ordered two banana splits and a medium double-dip cone. I asked one with no nuts but with pecans!! which had nuts on the bottom and almonds in it!. I ordered the other one with no nuts . But the young man forgot to put bananas in itso am I pregnant niece had to get off the car and go back and ask him to put bananas in her banana split!! I didn't really care for the boys customer service. Not sure if he was a trainee or not but who forgets bananas in a banana split?

This was the original 'go to' ice cream spot I went to regularly in the 90's. Still there, next to the laundromat with some riff raff roaming that i suspect are hopped up on sugary iced cream. It is nostalgic with the original outside bleachers style bench and lack of a drive thru. Still the best ice cream spot in Riverside County.

Great location. Bought two kids chocolate ice cream cones, .99 cents each! They were basically a one scoop full size cone. What a deal!

This is my Favorite Dairy Queen in the IE! Takes me back to the hot 90s summer I spent here while living in a little Spanish house in the historic Wood St.s. Spent here, meaning EVERY NIGHT AT THIS DAIRY QUEEN😝 They serve Blizzards like there suppose to... Amazing and UPSIDE DOWN baby🙃 Coolest kids work here too. Never had a bad experience here. If u find urself drivin thru Riverside, it's definitely worth a short detour.

I wanted to give the three workers a tio but they didn't have a tip jar. It was a warm, busy weekend afternoon and they handled their business exceptionally well. We will be back for sure!

This dairy Queen has been serving delicious ice cream since I was a kid. I actually moved here from Compton after the L.A riots 1993. I took my first girlfriend here. I paid with money I earned from yard work I made from my neighbors. This ice cream shop has good memories for the generation that was here in Riverside in the 90's.

Great ice cream! But heard some locations sponsor drag queen for kids!! If thats true i would never set foot in any dairy queen again!

I always love DQ reminds me of being back in Texas. My orders always right. Its a great place for a sweet cool treat with friends and family. If you've never been. I suggest you go. My favorite part is when they turn your blizzard upside down.

So thought I would take the k9 here for a new York cheesecake strawberry blizzard. Because she only eats Ben n Jerry’s strawberry cheesecake ice cream she wasn’t having it. Don’t. Worry DQ I enjoyed my mini.

Have been there multiple times, the service was great, clean and fast. Typical Dairy Queen quality. You could park your car next to the property and enjoy your items inside your car, pretty cool and social distancing. Recommend it.

This place is so busy in the summer and I'm glad we still have Dairy Queens around! You can never go wrong with a vanilla cone or a classic dilly bar 😊. The small wait is worth being able to tell my son the memories i had here as a kid and as a mother.

Who doesn't love ice cream right? This place remains a bit busy year round but is at it's busiest in summer. I think what would give this place an extra Cali vibe to it would be a car show on Friday evenings. Make surfing summer and this would make the experience even better. As far as the ice cream goes, super yummy!

Dairy Queen is pretty great. There's a lot of nostalgia in it for me, but it consistently tastes as good as I remember, and it's not as pricey as some other, more trendy ice cream places. They only have vanilla ice cream, but can combine ingredients in so many ways.

Small place, no drive thru. But it's great.

Iconic little spot in central Riverside - locals go here, and ignore the fact the lines are sometimes long, there is pretty much no place to sit, and the parking lot is dingy. But it's still awesome - a quaint throwback, and full of memories. Take your kids, and some patience, and have fun.

Grew up hanging out at this dessert palace 😁 It's a historic Riverside icon, worked down Magnolia at Argo comic book shop (ancient) during high school. Glad the ice cream shop is still here. Great place to cool off on a warm summer night.

Crazy busy. Other than 1 Male employee flirting with the two young ladies in front of me, which delayed my order, really great experience. I won't ding the restaurant on the actions of 1 person. His co-workers saved the fifth Star

Great little place!!! Always a nice treat. I usually go with 20+ guys as a treat for them. The people are shocked and probably overwhelmed, but always manage to fulfill our order in a very timely manner.

I have been coming to this location for decades now. Always reliable and friendly service. Blizzards are excellent every time I decide I am in the mood to grab one and I typically get a Reese's one. They can get pretty busy though (especially around dinnertime) and frequently they only have one of the two windows open though so the line can get long. Just keep that in mind when you go!

Love this place so much! It's a great place to cool down in the summer time. Off the menu my favorite is their Root Beer Float, I love the ice cream they put in there! Looking for something for healthy? They have a tone of healthy options. Sometimes lines are long, but it's so worth it!

I’ve been to a lot of Dairy Queen’s and this one makes THE BEST blizzards (lots of toppings and well mixed) and my husband said they did a way better job with his peanut buster parfait. You can tell this place has been here a while so I’m thinking the owners have been continuing to do things the right way instead of cutting corners like all the newer establishments. I just wish this one was closer to us!

Always a great treat for the price. Sometimes lines are long but the staff there does a good job of getting orders out fast! The menu variety is ALL dessert but it's all really good if that's what you're in the mood for.

Absolutely love this Dairy Queen. One, this place has been around for as long as I remember, and I have many fond memories shared here with my wife. But during this visit we were able to share some of that bliss with our children. And Two, even though the line was fairly long upon our arrival , the wait time was not what I expected, thus granting my family and I instant satisfaction towards indulging into our tasty treats.

Get this...they have Orange Julius here. Plus a Tripleberry version. Great cones as you expect, but THIS DQ has a special feel about it. I know it's been there for many years. Will add, you'll see many folks at all hours there, a fun experience.

It's was so hot 🔥 standing in line. Only one person taking orders and the same person making the orders. Knowing it's going to be a hot day they should of had more employees working. I felt sorry for the girl working by herself. Great ice cream.

How can it NOT be good? Dairy Queen is a neighborhood icon. One of the few remaining "old school" ice cream joints. Although you cannot tell by my incredible physique, I frequent this establishment regularly. When we ride our cycles this is always a destination spot. Try and smile more :)

Always loved this place since I was a kid. There are about half a dozen of these around SoCal. They are independly owned, food is consistent, ice cream is always delicious. The service is the only thing that varies from store to store.

A perfect treat for the warm spring days and hot.summer nights. The only downfall is that there's no seating or inside space. It's ok if you are just going to get a chocolate dipped cone with the kids and are used to the sticky mess in your car.

Cherry dipped cone is good at a reasonable price :) I don't really order anything else at DQs though.

I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream. On a hot day in riverside this is the place to stop by. I can't eat a lot anymore as I am on a diet. So now I only can visit once every several years or when I am out of energy a near by. Then it's time to refuel with yummy ice cream. Or they do have a lunch menu. Anyway the variety of flavors of ice cream is goid and the quality of each flavor is a standard of California.

I enjoy going to Dairy Queen whenever I'm in the area of Riverside.The prices are reasonable. It's a small old fashion ice-cream stand. Family friendly place. My favorite is the " Chocolate Dipped Cone" Yummy! Enjoy!

This has to be the oldest Dairy Queen left in Riverside. I got my usual Misty Float but this time it was a Blue Raspberry. It was perfect for a hot day like today. If you think yourself a true Riversider, then you have to come here at least every summer, enjoy!!

Dairy Queen is definitely a family favorite - and who can go wrong with a choose-your-own-ingredient Blizzard?! The butterscotch Dilly bar is also one of our top picks. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that there is absolutely nowhere to sit in the shade. On a hot day, be prepared to eat your ice cream very quickly! That said, Dairy Queen is a classic bit of Americana, an affordable and delectable treat, and is definitely on our summer to-do list!

This location is the least busy in the area so we come here. Most times, the blizzards aren’t full or have much topping compared to other locations with the same sizes so you feel a little ripped off. We always get the same Oreo blizzard and this location doesn’t put much in them so it’s a few chunks of cookie in the cup which is disappointing. I should just order a cup of ice cream to save money since that’s what I’m pretty much getting 😂

Too close to the street with loud noises, smog, cars and filth but the employees were doing a great job and their items on the menu always taste fabulous! Sometimes there is a bit of a line and no seating. It's all outdoors to order standing up. No where to relax as you wait for your order and to actually enjoy it except your car if you came in one. I sat on the sidewalk and don't like to eat on my car because of crums or spillage with my dogs 🐕. They were nice enough to sell me a couple of small whipcream cups for them but other places give them for free.

Ice cream was good but the outside is surrounded with gnats. It makes me wonder if they are inside the business as well since there is a walk up window. Please get the bugs under control.

Creating a blizzard with m&m's makes them too hard for my toddler to eat, sprinkling them on top is easier.... or so I thought ????

Great snacks or desserts, recently un-friendly staff. One girl said, very rudely, "it's against our rules to put ice cream in a small cup with toppings" when I asked if I could get one of the small clear cups with a small scoop of ice cream (Like we always get for my son)

Employees make good desserts, but you may be overcharged. My frozen hot chocolate cost over $5 here, and only about $2.50 at the DQ at Monroe & California. Guess which I patronize now?

It's a small location compared to practically all the rest. They don't have a restroom for customers. They are very quick to serve you and the staff was friendly. I'm sure I didn't last more than 10 minutes after I ordered my 4 blizzards to get them all. Including me we were 8 customers and we all left within a 30 min time period. We bought our blizzards and ate them there to not spill all over the car. And saw them working quickly and efficiently. The parking is a bit tight and there were a few guys sitting to the side looked a bit strange but they didn't donor say anything.

Ice cream is never flipped as DQ id known to do. It’s always melted by the time it’s handed out to you, not sure if they let it stand in the counter too long. Can’t imagine how it’ll be in the summer. I’ll be going to another location. I Love Dairy Queen I even go to their locations when I’m out of the country and they serve ice cream much better than they do in California; so disappointing!

i ordered the brownie batter blizzard and found a peanut inside, even though it’s not supposed to have any. i have a severe peanut allergy and ended up having a serious allergic reaction. this was extremely dangerous and unacceptable. please be more careful with cross-contamination and ingredient handling — mistakes like this can put lives at risk. it was yummy though

The staff WAS nice, now the food I got was sloppy . I ordered a banana split and got so much of the juice it was gross and no chocolate.. Sucked I havent had a nanna split in years. I went back since I never left the parking lot, told them what happen and the same girl who took my order said ahe never seen me. I tried to tell the owners they left just when I walked to the back. I will never go here again. I was not expecting compensation, just a underatanding hey you guys tighten up. Small places like this need people working there that are nice. Extremely rude young cashier chewing gum voraciously made me want to throw up as she's making my, my husband's, and daughter's ice cream... All I could think of is her nasty germs spreading everywhere as she's chomping away. So disgusting. And unprofessional. You guys I'm not kidding she was chewing faster and harder than anything I'd ever seen. Blehhh.. And her attitude was terrible. I just wanted to leave and my husband had to stop me from saying something to her. Other than that, my husband didn't like his Twix Blizzard. That's on him though.. Twix is Twix. My cotton candy one was ok. And my daughter will eat anything. So the ice cream was also underwhelming. Disappointing experience for sure.

One young lady was extremely nice and friendly (taller) - I give her 5 stars. The other worker was not friendly AT ALL (the shorter of the two) - she earns 1 or no star. She acted as though she hated her job and hated the customers. A customer should always be greeted with a smile. DQ, I recommend to check your schedule and adjust some attitudes. Ordered 3 banana splits and a small blizzard cup of plain icecream.... they gave me a small cone when i tried to get back to the window , they were not busy, literaly just took 2 steps back wondering if i accidentaly got someone elses order. Took the 2 steps back to the window and i said i ordered a smalll cup of icecream not a cone the girl just gave me a blizzard cup but the cone literaaly didnt even fill half the cup. Left cuz she just closed the window.

I always place the same order at every Dairy Queen I have visited; for some reason, this location rarely gets it right. My order isn't complex, and the rest of locations don't struggle with it. Way more confidence in other Dairy Queens.

It's 10:12am on a Wednesday, September 14 2016. It says on here that DairyQueen opens at 9:00am and I've been here waiting for it to open because I think to my self well maybe they open at 10. Just right now I see the employee walking taking her time to open up ... bro? UPDATE: I didn't post this yet because I thought she was going to open but no its 10:35am and still not opening up, best believe I'm leaving !

Horrible service. Person behind counter rude. Can’t figure out if there are two lines, one line, or zero. Dangerous area with line going into laundromat entrance. Great food though.

Asking for a cup of water is definitely a big no here, that's pretty sad. And next time hire people who can clearly speak, not have a lisp.

I have been coming to this location for over a year now. I come about 2-3 times a month. When I first started customer service was excellent now it just keeps getting worse every time I go. I'm ready to look for a new location that has employees that are not rude to there customers or that do not talk about the customer when the customer can hear everything and try to argue with them when they didn't not do it the way it suppose to be made after being shown what it has inside.i also got my blizzard melted and it was not flipped over. I really hope things change because I'm tired of going somewhere with rude employees.

Horrible , ordered a Georgia Mud Fudge and they did not make it right I asked for a refund and I was told I would need to order another and ask for specifics. Never coming here again. Taste like vanilla soft serve . Says it’s made with chocolate soft serve, pecan, brownies and cocoa fudge . It was only vanilla ice cream with brownies

We asked for the chocolate syrup in a different cup because I knew it would get messy for my neice. The worker said they couldn't do that even though I insisted to pay for the extra chocolate syrup and just 1 cup mind you. I also order a simple slushy and they still got the wrong drink.

I ordered a Chocolate Malt...and they gave me a chocolate shake. The kid acted like I was an alien when I said "you do know what a malt is right?" He had no clue. So the next time I went, I made sure they put it in. Boy did I mess up...because it was completely rancid. I ended up throwing up for 3 hours. The ER told me that it was more than likely old malt that developed moisture and clumps...a form of bacteria can really mess someone up. My friend and I have decided to never visit this location ever again. As you can tell from other comments, don't expect a manager or the owner to issue an apology or anything. It's evident this place has fallen by the wayside.

I’ve been ordering here for years and all the sudden I can’t get my drink NOT BLENDED, one less step you have to take, no extra product needed just would like the drink I get not blended even tho you ask how we want it or any substitutions via app. One of the lovely managers Called me before to tell me I have to have it blended like why who does it hurt? Not to mention you forgot one of my drinks today I will take my business elsewhere

I’d like to start off by saying I will never come back! I just left this location and I ordered a banana split blizzard and when I received the blizzard it was completely melted. The employee just put a lid over it and this is not the first time it has happened .If I wanted a liquid beverage then that’s what I would’ve ordered. I was quite disgusted by the knifes on the front counter because I could visibly see dark residue on the knives which made me realize that’s what was used to cut the banana that was in my blizzard. I truly feel disgusted with the cleanliness of the building and will tell my friends and family members to take that into consideration when coming to this location !

If I could give this Dairy Queen zero stars, I would. I recently visited and was absolutely disgusted by what I witnessed. The manager was scooping ice cream into Blizzards WITH HER BARE HANDS—no gloves, no scoop, just straight from her hands into customers' orders. That is completely unsanitary and unacceptable. To make things worse, she was openly rude and disrespectful to her employees, talking down to them in front of customers. This kind of behavior reflects extremely poorly on the company and makes me question the cleanliness and professionalism of the entire establishment. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else risk their health either. Dairy Queen corporate needs to step in and address this ASAP.
