We have been to Grimalda probably a dozen times and tried many things on the menu but tonight was our first pizza. It is amazing. Everything here is top quality and cooked to perfection. One of the things I love here is the wine list. They have a big selection of splits and also 50cl bottles as well as magnums and the prices are incredibly reasonable. And the staff are s terrific. We are treated like family. If you’re anywhere near Ovada at dinner time, do it. You can thank me later. Oh yeah... gnocco fritto!

Excellent pizzeria, I had a round pizza and pinsa, excellent cooking, excellent products used, there is a nice pizza menu as well as the beer list, we had difficulty talking to each other in one of the rooms due to too much noise caused by other customers, probably due to the walls, for the rest the staff is nice and friendly, the car park is quite large, prices are normal, dogs are allowed, book in advance

Dinner on August 17, 2024 for two - we ate outside where there's a nice, sheltered terrace. They have a wide variety of pizzas with different doughs, peels, farinata, and grilled meat. We would have liked to try the meat, but it was too hot, so we opted for a taste of farinata (very, very good) and two pizzas with kamut dough: the "Adri" (apparently it was the first time we'd ordered it!) and a Pugliese. The pizzas were large and well-topped; on the "Adri," since the onions were cooked, they didn't stand out too much. Everything was good, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the prices were reasonable. Recommended!

We finished our one-week-lasting workshop in this restaurant. We were a fairly large group of ca. 25 people. There was not a lot of space in the inner part of restaurant. It take a long long time to order a dinner. On the contrary, the pizza was delicious. We ordered all variants of pizza metra and we changed all the pizzas among each other. All the pizza versions were highly tasteful. Moreover, we ordered several wine bottles. All wines were of the high quality. At the last (but not least), let me notice that you can eat a choco pizza metra, which is also very good. Thanks a lot for nice experience in your restaurant.
