Opiniones de Melo Coffee & Kitchen Rochester
Nice spot on the traverse of University Avenue. Very good sandwiches and basic chips. Nice spot to sit on the corner in the neighborhood of the arts. Loved the place it used to be and this one is good too.
I am so lucky to live so close to this cafe, as it has such delicious coffee and food. I have been here countless times, at least once a week, and always loved the quality and flavor of everything I order. On top of that, the baristas and cooks always greet with a smile, remember faces, and seem to really enjoy working here. I am so glad to call Melo my go to cafe.
Orange cardamom latte was unique and delicious! Best breakfast burrito I've had in Roc too. Nice place!
Melo is such a cute corner spot — cozy and inviting with a great vibe. I had the avocado toast topped with radishes and taco seasoning — absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. The maple banana pancakes were another hit — fluffy, sweet, and full of flavor. Loved everything about this place and would definitely come back!
My go to brunch in Rochester! I was really impressed with both their coffee and food. We got the avocado toast, which was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned and zesty with tahini which was an interesting, but welcomed addition! Burrito and coffee were really good, but the avo toast was definitely the winner of the bunch. The star of the show is definitely their seasonal lattes!
Happy to have found this place. Coffee is delicious - and I'm picky. Food was nourishing. Service was quick and friendly. The place has a real positive energy. If you're a coffee lover and happen to drive through Rochester, I think you should pay a visit.
Melo is the third or fourth Cafe in this spot since I moved into the neighborhood 20 years ago... And it blows the doors off of the others. They have a tiny kitchen so food takes a little bit - but it's really, really good, so it's worth the wait.
Melo is my favorite! I appreciate that they have iced coffee versus cold brew or pouring hot coffee over ice. The prices aren't crazy, the vibe is fun, and the baristas are super sweet and always remember my order. I admit I haven't tried their real food items, but I love grabbing a Red Fern cookie every once in a while.
I've been coming by the shop about twice a week, weekday afternoons, for over a year. The baristas are super friendly and usually know what I'm going to order. The iced coffee is the best in town, imo, and is pretty inexpensive. I haven't ordered much off the food menu, but the egg sandwich is amazing, and they have no problem accommodating vegetarians.
Melo’s a solid go-to spot. The avocado toast and sandwiches are always really good, and their lattes are consistently great, always smooth and well made every time I’ve been. It’s a nice place to hang out for a bit, whether you’re getting some work done or just reading a book. The vibe is calm and not too loud, and there’s usually plenty of space to sit. Definitely one of my favorite low-key spots for coffee and a bite.
Melo is one of my favorite cafes in Rochester. Their coffee is always spot on and the sandwiches will make you drool. Not only are they full of flavor, but they're filling too! It's a great place to catch up with friends or to study. The Breakfast Burrito is my favorite thing on the menu. I think I get it every time I go there. If you don't know what sandwich to get, get the Breakfast Burrito. You won't be disappointed. Convenient location on University Ave. Great coffee. Fantastic sandwiches. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
Went here with a. Associate a d my oh my this place blew me away. My coffee was a moca late, and it was served with avacado toast. I think it was the perfect peering. The atmosphere and scenery was very different from the typical coffee shop. Which was quite nice, might I say. The food was fresh. I mean, fresh, you could taste the difference. I've nade avcado toast before, but this was just exceptional. Thank you very much for Service healthy and clean food. ++++ so overall, the customer service given by the cashier was like no other. She was so friendly with her upbeat and happy personality kinda mad I didn't ask her name... for some reason. I thought she was the owner but she was not and the fact she was so happy doing her job it made everything better. Next time I visit, I'll get her name. Customer Service +++++ Scene +++ not quite in the morning hours but decent. Parking street++ Food ++++++ Cost ++++
Good food for a good price in a nice location. Tried their charred asparagus panini with a hazelnut latte. Panini had so much flavor and it comes with chips. Latte was one of my favorite, with a good amount of hazelnut flavor. You have to order food in the counter and they will give a buzzer. Take your drink and find seating either inside or outside. Pickup food when the buzzer rings. Street parking is available. It was not hard to find a parking spot on Sunday noon.
Really busy on the Sunday I came. They closed their kitchen right after I ordered. The salmon toast was pretty good although the cream cheese was a bit salty. Hot chocolate was pretty good too!
Love this place, it’s my go-to coffee/brunch spot and it reminds me a lot of the shops I used to go to in LA. Tasty breakfast burrito! My only problem is the unexpected closures. Arrived here at least 5 times during regular business hours to find the door locked for various reasons. I suggest checking their instagram before going to be sure - their website doesn’t update when it’s closed.
Let's just say our visit with 3 people having coffee and breakfast ended with a $50 tab. I won't go back becuase of that alone. The coffees were average.....nothing extraordinary. The coffee mugs were small....compared to other coffee venues. I had the avocado toast that was average. My husband's breakfast sandwhich was burnt. It was a nice place in general but not worth the price for me.
Great new shop. Beautiful and a fun place to be. I love the corner location which is very visible. Outdoor seating is awesome and will be on warmer days. Definitely feels over hyped to me. Service was friendly but getting food took a very long time and food is costly. I even felt like the $5 cold brew was tiny and half ice. Inside area is very small and cramped because the store is so narrow. Definitely a cool place to check out but there are better places for food and coffee
Our tab was $39.42 for two chicken sausage breakfast sandwiches, an iced latte and an orange juice. This was the first time we came in and I loved the paint and decor and the vibes, the service was also great. We were disappointed by the sandwiches though and took one bite and ended up throwing them away. The sausage was super sweet and the English muffins had so much cornmeal/ semolina on them that it really just wasn’t the savory breakfast we expected.
