The bartender was absolutely awesome and friendly when we went two weeks ago on a Saturday night! Food and drinks priced right! Believe it or not, I was surprised by the amount of food you get.

Ordered from them on Grubhub and things did not go to plan, or at all actually due to the driver never picking up the order. But, that didn’t stop Pinapple Jacks from moving heaven and earth to get me my order. Thank you! After a very long day, you guys reminded me that there are still great people in this world (specifically Angela and a very kind security guard)! Also, the food was great!

Nothing but good memories with my adult children and their friends for many of my birthdays.Love that they have a smoking area inside but should really have an outside smoking area instead of inside.I just feel NO smokers lives matter more.And that area is much bigger.

There's a cigar bar here and you can smoke cigarettes as well. They have pool tables and a couple other games. Great place to hang out.

As an out of towner looking for a place to watch football this place was an absolute godsend. It's not trendy and it's not what I'd call "cool" but the food is good, beer is cheap and they have a smoking/cigar lounge. Top that off with wicked friendly staff, I went every Monday for 2 months straight and was treated as a regular the second time... Was actually sad when my time in NY was up and knew I wouldn't be back for a while. If you want a 0 nonsense place to grab a beer and food and just shoot the breeze with folks, this place can't be beat.

My friends and I went on a double date and decided ro stop here for dinner before the movie! We had never been before so we were eager to try it out! We got inside and we're seated promptly once noticed and given menus and asked for drinks. I was a little nervous about the menu because I'm currently on the keto diet and can't have many if any carbs. Looking over the menu I saw a perfect option! I decided to get the burger that has the shaved steak with mozzerella and I asked not to have the bun. I chose a side salad so I could combine the meat with the salad after it came. I was blown away when the waitress asked if I just wanted my meat over my side salad. A simple question to most, but it meant the world to me that she asked me that question! Not many people know much about the keto diet, but our waitress made sure to ask all the right questions! The food came out and it was absolutley delicious. My friends got wings, potato skins and a burger as well. We all enjoyed our food a lot and out drinks were refilled very quickly too! We will definitley make pineapple jacks a place to remember when hanging out again! Thank you for being inclusive when it comes to people's dietary restrictions! Awesome job! -Thomas

Always a great time here, good food good people and the place is huge. They have a contained smoke lounge that is like a whole other bar, a huge stage area for their live shows and a DJ and dance floor area too. My favorite local bar.

I ordered through grubhub. Didnt know how to leave a review through them. Never go out the way honestly but they deserve one. I got wings and fries. Wings were the best i have had in yearsss. Perfectly cooked. Amazing . I've had their food, these wings are top tier compared to the restaurants around. Highly recommend

I'm not a frequent here but I've always enjoyed my time in this place. I should honestly stop giving out 5 stars so easily but they're a solid bar. The bartenders are cool, and when I've eaten here, the food was good. I love you can still smoke here (I dont even smoke, but I do here) Maybe that's not your thing... well great, theres areas where the smoke doesnt even touch.

There are two bars located inside here. The front is non smoking that has dining and the back bar is a bar for people that smoke and you can eat at the bar! Off of the smoking bar is another separate large area for live music!! Awesome place to visit for a night out!!

Solid atmosphere and one of the ONLY cigar lounges with a bar in rochester! The bands are cool and the owner is pretty down to earth. Also the food is AMAZING! 10/10.

I was only in there one time, but I was treated very, very well. The woman that worked there said she had been working there for quite some time. She was an excellent conversationist. And I liked the fact that they have a separate smoking room. Because I don't smoke and I would not even be in there if they did smoke but the atmosphere was great. The people were great and the chicken wings were very, very good. I ought to know. I used to have my own restaurant called Ron's famous wings. And I won several awards for my chicken wings back in the day.So thank you everybody for being such a great host.And I will be back again 1 day.I only live walking distance from you

I just saw a band this time, but I've been there a few times. Several bars on site, with actually a few distinct/separate areas -- so it can please several types of people all at once. Large band/performance area; darts area; restaurant area -- each with a dedicated bar/service. Staff was as nice as security guards can be at 12am ;) Lots of parking. If you can't find a reason to like this place then maybe you need to loosen up ;)

All around great place. Especially good for anyone that's a smoker. They have a well vented smoking area that is indoors and there is a bar in the smoking area. The non smoking area is clean and doesn't smell of smoke the way you think it would.

This was my second visit and I was not disappointed! We went to attend a live wrestling event. The staff was courteous, friendly, and well organized. The facility was clean and airy with a great laid-back vibe. They have a beautiful bar and lovely drinks as well as kitschy t-shirts for sale. I also noted the posting of a safety drink order for women who may feel threatened, on the bathroom wall. Kudos for going the extra mile to keep your patrons safe!

Saw an amazing band called "Nuthin Fancy" at this bar, those guys are incredible!!! The bar needs a wider selection of beer though.

Pineapple Jack's is an awesome bar/ restaurant....they have awesome food and good drinks....they have live music most Fridays and Saturdays....it's a great place to check out....staff is awesome too

They got 3 pool tables, 2 upstairs, 1 down in the smoking lounge... that's right!! Smoking lounge!!... don't see them much anymore... stage area in the back for live shows... it's a fun place... service is always good... if wasn't for the fact that I've either ran into, or introduced, every single significant woman that has broken my heart to this place, I'd give it five stars... but that's my own business... wish I could frequent more... aaahhhhh, memories... love you ladies! ;-)

I did not get any food, but the bartenders were pretty on point. My main grievance is the lack of support for the band that was on stage. They did not have the side bar in the music area open, so you either had to go into the smoking lounge or to the very front of if the whole bar far from the band and they played different music instead of having the band's music piped in. I represent a few bands,trying to get them gigs. I was thinking about trying to get them gigs here, but if that is how they "support" the bands, I think I will pass.

Just went to watch a band. This place is nice cause it’s large enough that it never feels crowded.

Fun and entertaining. They bring great shows to an otherwise biring city! Security can stop acting like cops but other than that great place.

I did not have any food nor any service by waitress. I want to listen to a band. The bar for non smokers is much smaller than the bar for smokers. The smoker's bar is behind a wall and glass so no one needs to smell the smoke.

Going here is like stepping back in time. My boyfriend wrestled here so we got to enjoy the wings and the drinks here. Excellent service at the bar and the wings were great too. The only negative thing is the bathrooms aren't so nice and clean. It's outdated like everything else but that shouldn't stop you from going there. It's a nice hangout place for catching up with friends and they have a smoking and non smoking section there.

Known this place for years been going here for years the service staff is great the bartenders are awesome very friendly very attentive to your needs good in conversation. I know some people get turned off by the place because they feel like it's a biker Hangout I know some of the security staff there and you're totally safe I've never seen a fight there actually I am sure it's happened because I don't spend everyday there. Food is pretty good not necessarily anything to write home about but good for the price.

Difficult to get service w 1 bartender and wrap around bar. Had fun w the crowd we were with and like that the downstairs pool table was moved to a back room to give u more room to play.

The layout of this place is really cool. they have three different sections to party in. My biggest fault with this is I'm not a smoker and the smoking section is in great need of new ventilation. The smoke carry's all through the place. Not somewhere I can stay more than an hour or so..

there is never more then 10 people here when we go. pros: drinks are cheap, always get a seat as bar, quick service. cons: always empty, quick draw screen broken, general manager always stressed, food eh. overall, good place to get a few drinks quickly.

Went to see a friend play in his band. Only had drinks. The back room only takes cash at the bar. The mid bar is full of smoke. Didn't want to go in there. So, I went to the front bar. Just had to wait for a bartender, since they stay most of the time in the middle bar. I did have a great time listening to the band.

Girls night out. Had a good time. Unfortunately, the bar closest to the live band / stage is a smoking bar (the 3 other people in my party were all smokers so it was not an issue for them). I definitely left smelling like I smoked 10 cartons of cigarettes. Maybe a better ventilation system could be considered, it is a bar though. There is a front bar that I believe is nonsmoking.

This was not my first time at PJ's, but the first in many years, so I thought maybe it had gotten better. WRONG! It was a Thursday night, and there was one other table of 4 people in the dining room. There were 4 people at the bar. We were seated right away, and the server came over in just a few minutes. We placed our drink order, and waited 14 minutes before the Coke and glass of wine appeared. She blamed the bar staff that she had to wait to get the liquor, yet we witnessed the bartender lounging, and talking to the 4 bar customers... Hubby ordered a steak bomber and mine was a baked haddock, baked potato and broccoli - cooked with no butter or oil. After another 20 minutes, we were served, and except for the potato, everything was tasty and right. The potato was old and reheated, not very good, but I don't eat much of it anyway, so not a deal-breaker. We had to ask for salt, pepper and ketchup to be brought to the table. That's not right and should be there on every table regardless. The server never acknowledged that my wine glass was empty, even after I placed it at the edge of the table it took a few pass-bys before she noticed. She came by when we were done and asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. After declining either, she brought the check, yet never cleared our dirty plates. The hostess finally came over and took the dirty plates away and asked how thing were. Not wanting to burden the hostess about the poor service, we didn't really reply. Food = 3.5 of 5 Service = 1 of 5

Music was way too loud and where the band was playing, you are not allowed to smoke and people were smoking right in front of security and they did nothing...I think I have a little bit of hearing loss thanks to the one controlling the music.. it doesn't need to be that high

At first I was very unimpressed with the tacky carribean themed gaudy furniture or the overbearing colors but I was there for a drink with my friends that live close by. The bartender was helpful and seemed like an honest worker. The drink and food menu was unimpressionable. We ordered the fried pickles for entertainment and WOW! The fried pickles comes second to the sauce they have for it. It was amazing, but without the pickles the sauce became unless. Thus rendering a cyclical never ending demand for more fried pickles, more fried pickles sauce.

Burger in had was good but very greasy. Fries were ace. Wait staff was inattentive. Watched a couple walk in sit down and be ignored by two of the staff then they walked out. The floor and walls were a bit dirty.

Really good food but horrible atmosphere! Everything looks so dirty and the bathrooms are so gross. I won't come here again, place has gone down hill.

Yikes, totally run down inside. The bar tenders provide great service, but in my opinion, no frills, basic townie bar. Nothing spectacular to see here.

My husband and I live very close and wanted to try it out. We went at dinner time, no servers so the bartender took care of us which was perfectly fine. I ordered a glass of white Zin, my husband a beer. Dinner was pretty decent, nothing spectacular. When I received my glass of wine I was so very disappointed. Absolutely disgusting. Immediately I could tell that the bottle had been open for quite some time. Unfortunately i had to leave the glass full because not even my garbage disposal of a husband would drink it. The decor is just too tacky for me. Service was good, unfortunately it just seems that this place is due for an upgrade. I would be embarrassed to invite my friends here.

I was invited by a friend. The bad that was playing was good. However there were only 10 people in the room. Most likely because of all the cigarette smoke. It really was uncomfortable. If they got rid of smoking in this establishment, I would have guaranteed 80 people would have been in here. I don't understand the reasoning behind this.most facilities now are smoke free. Not sure what they are proving. The filtration system doesn't work at all. You can see all the smoke in the air with the band lights. Too bad. I left early cause I couldn't stand the smell or the smoke anymore.

Ordered food to go, they do not require you to wear a mask, patrons were in the bar drinking without masks, bar tender did not have a mask. Food was not great, always hit or miss. I will NOT be returning.

They over serve. As in, great place to take someone you want too drunk to know what is happening.

I guess ok if you smoke. This place has a Cigar Lounge located towards the back that is separated by doors but as soon as you walk in you can smell cigarette smoke. Terrible place for a none smoker.

Went to meet with friends..we had kid's with us and they weren't allowed to stay past 8..we saw other kid's in the establishment that were younger than our friends kids that were allowed to stay.

My family and I always come here to get boneless chicken wing..tonight the chicken was over cooked, very chewy..not alot of sauce.im very disappointed..

Loudest restaurant I have ever been it. Service was horrid. We ordered, we were only ^offered^ rolls some 20 minutes after that. Our dinners arrived 55 minutes after we got there, my chicken parm was chewy/tough and the pasta was dried out. Not worth the wait or bother !

Was just there over the wknd, my husband and i went to listen to a band that we like. We went up to the bar to order our drinks my husband got his Genny and i ordered a White Russian. The bartender wasnt familiar with the drink so went for help. When she came back she explained that "we dont do those here"! I thought that was weird cause they have a restaurant here, certainly they must get orders for milk from ppl with children! Ok whatever. I then tried to order a Scotch Sour. Simple right?! Scotch and Sour mix..... No, she again walked away. Came back asking what kind of scotch i wanted and proceeded to name off 5 different whiskeys. Now im no scotch efficient but theres a difference in taste and i have never been in a bar that doesnt have scotch! I never complained or was mean to this girl. I ended up drinking a Jameson and sour mix lol. Could have been her first day or maybe i was asking for the impossible! Oh and my husband canceled his order for wings after waiting an hour. I would never go there again, but if u decide to go even after reading this u better just order a beer!

Most of the bartenders at night don't have a clue. Usually have to hunt them down or wait 10 or so minutes until they can tear themselves away from their socializing to serve you. This is on a relatively slow nite. I avoid this place like the plague on weekends.

The service was shady and the food was Not made right and was not good. It was way over done, burnt on one side and lightly cooked on the other. The Only plus side is the smokers lounge.

I went into see a band play tonight(Adrenaline). Honestly, the atmosphere turned me off. They have a smoke and cigar lounge which inandated the entire establishment. Even though there were doors to separate the smoking and non smoking sections, when the door opened, the smoke just overtook the non-smoking section. Not even sure why this place is allowed to have a smoke lounge with the laws that are in place. I know for sure the air filtration system wasn't working or was antiquated. I hadn't paid yet for the band. I waited a bit longer to feel the place out. The main bar had just 3 tables in it and a few chairs for sitting Otherwise, you're standing. The main area had alot if people in it only to find out there was a surprise birthday party going on. Looks like there was a separate room but they didn't use it. It was loud and overwhelming. After 35 minutes I couldn't take it any longer. The smell of cigars and cigarettes. I ended up leaving....

Visit this place yesterday Friday night. Walked in and there was no employees to be seen and only 2 customers. We picked a place to seat and after some what 8-10 min an employee came out from the side of the bar. Never acknowledged us and start helping the customer in the bar that had been served. I ran a restaurant and bar for over 7 years and the fact that she never acknowledged us or addressed tells me she did not want our business, so I took it elsewhere. There is no fundamental work ethics no more.

Been going here for years. The food is ok. But I completely stopped going due to one bartender. She always gave me attitudes for no reason. Then I was told she wouldn’t serve me for something I never did. I went back a few more times after that but avoided the one bartender. I never felt so uncomfortable going into a bar. So I just stopped going.

I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but my experience at Pineapple Jack’s was honestly unsettling. The biggest issue was what I saw in their refrigerator by the bar— it was visibly dirty and had something actually growing inside it. No exaggeration. That alone completely turned my stomach and made me question the overall cleanliness of the entire kitchen/bar area.

2nd time I show up and the doors locked... 10:17pm on a Wednesday. I spend alot, tip heavy and once again im denied. Cant deny the smoking room and great bartenders make this bar worth while. However this locking the doors early (2 hours in this case) is not a good business practice.

Used to be the place to go drink after bowling on the west side but hosting a notoriously problematic band (Trapt) really isn't the vibe. Either y'all aren't aware, you don't care, or you sympathize with their beliefs. Not a good look for your business. Good luck.
