The girls on the weekend shift are very nice, the sandwiches are very good and it's a quiet place.
Subway sandwiches are very good especially because you get to pick the ingredients. I usually get sliced turkey meat and lots of veggies on a wheat bun.

Cannot speak for everyone else, but Kam did an amazing job tonight. Great work ethic and great service overall. Even with customers in front of me Kam made it a point to make sure I knew that they knew I was there, and apologized for the not that long of a wait.

Very nice staff, my subsandwich was never as beautiful as this one... And my husband ordered a subpizza who was topped in a very artistic way and super well garnished. We were very surprised by the care given to our orders. I mean subway is commonly known for a fast and basic fast food but this one have his own special touch. I loved the special attention.
I came in at the last minute to order 35 sandwiches for our rugby team. The helpful ladies guided me through a good order and scrambled to get it all done in less than two hours!!! Visiting from California and soooo grateful for their help.

I went to this location today at 11:30 today & even though Monica was in the middle of making a ginormous catering order that was just called in for pick up, she & Maria were both very prompt with taking my order & providing friendly customer service. I take advantage of the coupons and I load up my foot-long subs with veggies, and for the money it's a fantastic deal, and the staff is always friendly and fast.
the guys here are awesome even when it is slammed they are really nice. Ordering online doesn't make your order quicker, they actually might forget it because of how busy the store is.
New to Austin and this is my second time into this location. Both times the same man and woman were working and absolutely went above and beyond. Today is July 17th and hopefully the owner will read this and look at the schedule and give these two a pat on the back. Thanks guys and keep working hard, you’ll have your own franchise with service like that.
My boyfriend and I love subway, today my BMT was great like always. I wanted to thank the new gentleman with the hat (I didn’t catch his name) for being so kind and patient. Usually subway is “fast food” and you don’t really talk a lot with the employees but today he even made sure the tables were good for us to seat and we appreciated it. The blonde lady, I think she was the manager was also really nice. Thank you!
Was good. The people are actually well mannered, polite and gave me a good customer service. Beside the long wait wich is understandable cause of this whole covid-19 issue. But besides that I really did enjoy myself at this restaurant.

This is the best Subway I've ever been to. They have a true sense of urgency and they make sure that you get what you want on your food. They even go as far as cutting my stuff up extra on the chop salad because they know that's how I like it.

Went in to a sandwich for my friend since we had just got pedi's. We got a whole steak and cheese and a half tuna with of all things honey mustard! He was going to drive Uber and take the sandwiches so he wouldn't have to stop later. Well he changed his mind and called to say he feels like driving and was coming over. When he got there he warmed up the steak n cheese..I got a bite...it was steak n cheese. Then I got a bite of the tuna...OMG, if you like tuna it was wonderful and the yucky honey mustard was Devine. It was a whole different experience I could've eaten his whole half but he was watching me enjoy it and throwing side eye vibes so I reluctantly handed him his sandwich. When I say I've been craving that flavor again it's an understatement. The veggies look so fresh and watched them make a salad bowl with lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, purple onions, banana peppers and some kind of chicken. It looked like something from a fancy restaurant not a sandwich shop, I told the guy ordering and telling what to add that it looked delish...he smiled and said it does doesn't it. So next time I'm craving meat and fresh veggies I'm going to subway...and I have a feeling it's going to be very soon😀
As I walked into this location today there was a ginormous line of customers waiting for their turn to order. It was then when I realized that they weren't just there for their food, but in fact, by the customer service and cleanliness of this facility. Besides being understaffed and being the only one catering to customers, Ruben had provided me with the most courteous, friendly smile and customer service that anyone can provide me with behind the pressure of being the ONLY individual behind the counter. This man deserves a standing ovation and a raise for holding down the fort and preparing my 3 orders in a timely fashion. Thanks for all your hard work Ruben! We need more individuals like you to treat customers with the utmost respect and service that you've provided today. <3
Today I came in and I was serviced by Tyler have not been in a subway in years. Stopped and was greeted by excellent customer service and the cleanliness was definitely up to par. Even the sandwich while he was making it look great I had to take a picture of it. 10 stars for Tyler five for subway
I was working & parked my car there. Sorry! I can add Subway is a quick & tasty way to eat. There is something for everyone....I would think.

I went on a Friday afternoon and only one man attended well, the same gentleman as always. He is always very kind to us but there are two women who stay inside and only talk and don't help
It was hot inside. But the store was being remodeled. The sandwiches where great. The staff were nice.

Depending on who waits on you as to how yr sandwich comes out ,so watch out plus one will try to charge you while the other one is making your sandwich. No! stay & watch what they do! If not you may end up like me two thin slices of roast beef big pile of bell pepper two black olive slices & three slivers of spinach & get a magnifying glass out to find yr cheese,the subway salad house dressing is good & the bread with stuff on it is good grilled
Always accommodating, however the solo employee this evening was rude and abviously under the influence of something. Now, I'm far from one to judge anyone else especially in they aspect but if you're alone working the store, don't come in geeked and tweeked or jacked and twacked.

I've been here about 5 times... Slow service, 1 employee at a time most of the visits I made, always new trainees which slows things down more. Rarely fresh bread or they're out of white bread, just ZERO customer service skills it seems. Only reason I have it 3 stars is due to the fact that it's well stocked with everything else and relatively clean.
The manager or the person in charge, was rude with a kind. And with the person who tried to help the kid. She asked to get out from the store or she called the police. Because this guy tells her don't be rude with the costumers.
Been to this Subway several times, food wait can be quick or slow depending on staffing, seems like they are short handed frequently. Today service was quick, worker appeared to be by herself, made sandwich quickly but dining area was not clean. All tables dirty, food on floor, food on chair. I asked her to wipe my table which she did but did not wipe any other tables or sweep, food also on chair across from me. Nobody else in line but looked like she was working on a large to go order. But you want a clean dining area...and soda machine needed a wipe down as well.
I usually don’t even do google reviews but on Monday night I came to this establishment hoping I would be able to get some food since I’m pregnant and have of course late night cravings. Y’all don’t close till 10:00 but when I came it was 9:20 pm the doors where locked lights where dimmed but supposedly the sign was lit up saying it was still “ open”. No one came to the door to attend to not just only me but also another man who came up there. It would have been different if the doors where open and y’all were wrapping up for the night but still serving customers. But to be closed completely 40 minutes before the actual time is not okay. It’s lack of customer service skills to me!
Me and my friend came to this place service was bad! And it looks like they count the amount of vegetables they put on your sub, and only on this place they put even less meat on the subs, like am I paying just for bread I hate it worst subway ever!

Do not ever get a meatball sub from this place. My sub had so much sauce that I could barely even taste the meatballs. I added extra cheese and some parmesan cheese as well, but nothing helped. The lady handled the placement of the meatballs like marbles. Just rolled them on there and let them take random positions. I ate half of the sub before I felt a sauce overload (my body didn't want it anymore and I DID NOT eat anything all day until this point). I did not order a sauce sub with meatball toppings. My last visit for sure. Definitely not worth the $6.05. I just paid for the order because I didn't want to be rude. The cashier didn't even give me the receipt for the order, just ignored me and placed it away like I disappeared as soon as I payed. I called the location and left a "comment." But I wouldn't advise this Subway unless it is a last resort. Purchased between 1PM and 1:30PM on Monday, February 4th. Maybe you'll have better luck than me at a different time, but I seriously doubt it.
Came in about 5:00 and was told no fresh bread. Only had day old bread and 30 min. til bread in over was done. Was hungry and settled for day old bread. -- should of waited -- still paid full price for day old "eat fresh" bread.
It was a sandwhich. However the staff was very slow and one team member was willing to stand by the register and wait for the two struggling but trying employees to do everyrhing else. The line grew to a point people began to walk out and others decided to turn around and leave as soon as they arrived. We witnessed the loss of eight customers while we ate.
Placed an online delivery order. It never arrived. I called the store and was told they recieved my order but would not be making it and would not cancel it or give me a refund.

This restaurant is VERY racist! The Hispanic lady who cleans around 7:30 refused to allow some young African children to use the restroom and made them leave the store. However she allowed the homeless caucasian couple to come and get something to drink for free!! I was very appalled and mortified by this out come of this woman!! People like that don’t deserve to have a job in this country!
Employees uses a cash register touched face when he went to wash his hands he only rinsed them no soap. Then decided to proceed to fix people's food with only one glove on . When customer asked him to put on glove his response was I'm touching the paper and acted as if he was offended smh..there is still covid-19 out there and to have employees fix food without washing hands properly and gloves on both hands is a damn shame.. nope .. That's the second time I've been there and saw questionable habits. Will not by any means be returning there if he's still working there..
Completely unacceptable. under baked bread, dirty, uncaring staff. this has been several times and also locations. austin has the worst subway restaurants i have been to, and i have been to subway from coast to coast. do not give them your money.
I ordered the monster pro And the only monster I got was the bill. Instead of double meat I got very little meat.. It was delivered to my hospital room The manager told me I could come in and get a replacement sandwich but did not offer deliver. When I told her I could not come down and pick it up she hung up the phone on me.
There was a long line. The employees are very slow, and seem to have no motivation. The place was understaffed without a sense of serving the public in a timely fashion. Needless to say, a void this place if you want timely, courteous service.
I have came to this Subway twice to pick up breakfast within 2 months of each other and both times I have came they are still not open even though it is well past 9. I see people inside just sitting clearly not doing their jobs. If you aren’t going to open when you say you are, update your hours!

No Black Olives, No Ice, No lids and a clogged and messy women's bathroom. After a 2 mile walk in Austin's heat, all I wanted was an ice cold drink and delicious sub. The GM of this establishment needs a replacement swiftlY. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is it's poor employees that have to work under poor management.
Sign says they open at 9 am. At 920 it was still locked. Subway used to be ok, now it is waste of time AND money. Shame shame shame
Horrible customer service out of the lady who initially asked for what I wanted, and the lady who was waiting to take my card seemed to be really rude, and didn't quite have my order made to perfection... out of the bread, not enough onions and so on... don't recommend this place here at Norwood plaza... go to the one on Burnet road near the taco bell, or heck if you want to drive, go to manor and order at the 2 there... Norwood sucks for Subway.
Came to Subway for lunch this morning and I'll never go back!! I'm not sure what Subway's policy for employees wearing mask but there were two working, a man cooking bread has no mask ,the woman making food only had her's covering her mouth. Subway should be ashamed during this pandemic to allow such irresponsibility!!

Slow slow slow and they literally had no ingredients, place looked empty. They had so few ingredients they were rationing them which is unacceptable when you are paying $8+ for a sandwich.

Went in today to grab a sandwich and a drink. Didn't answer any questions about the sandwich basically just told her what I wanted and she didn't acknowledge me kept speaking to who I guess was her kid behind the counter in Spanish. Finished ordering was very impersonal. Went to fill my drink with ice and noticed black slime in it. Dumped it out attributing it to maybe the cup, tried again an even larger slime pieces came out. Informed the lady at the counter, she just told me she didnt have ice, didnt offer to refund or fix the issue other then indicating the case and said take one of those. Disgusting and wont be going back.
Employee there with the beard (blonde) does not care to service customers. Was rude when asking about different items. Didn't make any eye contact and gave answer that certain food choices would be ready in several hours.

I arrived to pick up an online order for 9pm at 8:58pm. When I got there the door was locked and I had to wave to get someone's attention. Everyone inside was extremely rude to me and acted like they were already closed. It was posted online and in person that the store was open for another hour. I love Subway, but I won't be back to this location.
I visited the Norwood location on 183 on Friday 10/21/22 at around 7pm and I had a bad experience and normally at the subway is good. But a lot of subways in the poorer communities are going downhill. I was given hard bread. My husband sandwich was so nasty he stated he didn’t even eat it. A whole sandwich thrown in the trash. A waste of food and money. I will not be going back to that location until they get better workers in there, also it took forever to make 3 sandwiches. And most of the veggies also tasted old.
Do not waste your money. Poor service/sandwich bread hard and fell apart/overcharged for sandwich/workers are not knowledgeable about what sandwich meats their sandwiches come with
This is gonna be my first review on Google. I had a terrible service at this restaurant. The lady looking like an Indian made my sub. I could see from her face and attitude and the way she talks, the way she handed me extra napkins that she doesn’t take her job seriously. She was fxxxking rude. Im Never coming back here.
I was the first customer of the day and the place was a filthy disgusting mess. Food all over tables and the floor. Saw mouse droppings under a table near the trash can. Ordered a foot long and barely got enough meat and veggies to fill a 6” sandwich. When I asked for more meat and cheese she said it will be extra. I just wanted enough meat to cover the bottom of my sandwich. 3 tomato’s and 3 slices of cheese are unacceptable. The bathroom toilet hasn’t been cleaned or flushed in a week. This place is a rat and germ Petri dish.
This store was bad the employees were nice but but there was only 2 people the other one was taking long and didn’t charge us and the other one was doing customers orders while I was waiting to get charged by the other person

Service was good but staff seemed lost. Place was disgusting! From the bathroom all the way to the ice machine, which was spitting out black stuff. I was really grossed out with the ambiance of the place and the cleanliness. But... on a positive note, the sub was on point!
Let's just say that they cherry pick who they give good customer service to. I will not be returning to any subway and I will be sure to discourage family and friends from going to a subway. Also, they are known for getting the orders wrong. How hard is it to make a sandwich and where do you find your employees? During my last, and final visit, one of the employees forgot to put meat on another customer's sandwich. This subway has recently updated their appearance. However, a new restaurant cannot cover up poor customer service. Don't be deceived!
‼️Serious Warning to the Owner As a concerned customer, I strongly urge the owner of this Subway location to take immediate action regarding the manager of this store. The current manager’s behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and harmful to your business reputation. If this issue is not addressed, you will continue to lose customers and receive negative reviews. During my visit, the guy manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. There was no basic customer service no greeting, no willingness to assist, and no effort to resolve concerns politely. Instead, the manager’s attitude made the situation worse and created a very uncomfortable environment. I recommend that the owner should review staff conduct, especially The guy manager in the morning of Feb 10th 11.40AM was extremely rude..reconsider this manager’s role. Until meaningful changes are made, I cannot recommend this location to anyone.
Bad service! Put in an order and for some reason the app switched it to this location, which was the last one I was at but I picked the one on Airport Boulevard. so I called them to get a refund and the guy had an attitude saying he couldn't give me a refund. BS! So beware and I'll definitely never come back to this subway. Heed my warning! Go through your bank because this one has fraudulent practices trying to make a quick buck off customers with crappy and scammy service

2 scoops of meat means 2 full scoops. Got teriyaki chicken and the lady put 2 half scoops. Then, machine wants tip at the end. Good joke
Food was average. Employees are insufferable. As soon as I walked in I hear them crying about how many customers are coming in (there was only 3 people here) and talking about how “subway isn’t that good”. If you don’t like your job I suggest getting a new one not crying about it where the customers can hear.
I got food poisoning today from here! Please do not go to this location. I should have known when I looked down and saw the tomatoes were swimming in juices in the bottom of the Cambro container and transparent. Only ate half of my sandwich and have been vomiting for half an hour. The people were nice enough, but clearly aren’t following protocol.

Got to subway 6 minutes before they closed had the OPEN sign on but when I tried to go in doors were locked. Employees inside just ignored me. I know it's a bad move going this close to closing time since I've worked on restaurant business before but my wife asked to bring her a sandwich. At least turn the OPEN sign off if you're going to lock the doors
I would give this subway a 5 star but NO I went in today asking for chicken on my pizza and the cashier was very rude and said he was not able to do it mind you I am willing to pay extra for that he legit just did not want to do it. If you don't like your work place then find a new job because I am paying for my food subway is supposed to be able to make my food my way. ANYWAYS THE SUBWAY ON NORTH LAMAR WAS ABLE TO MAKE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED SO I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ONE AGAIN!
The young ladies on shift named Veronica are so polite and have great customer service. However, the managers that are on shift (which change) speak so negatively and talk down to the other employees and reprimand them in front of customers. Also, the managers have a extremely poor attitude towards customers. It’s really disappointing to see and personally experience such poor customer service when you’re trying to come into a food establishment to take a break from the heat, have a nice meal even if it’s just a sandwich. I would hope subway Would hold their employees to a higher standard and ensure the leadership and customer service the managers and other lead employees provide is better quality. Also, the food half of the time especially lettuce and spinach is withered… I understand many businesses and people are under a lot of pressure due to lack of employees…but businesses have gotten creative in helping support their teams and ensure good quality product and service is provided to their customers. Please invest more time and resources to ensure your teams on site can provide better quality customer service… Again, Vanessa and the rest of the regular employees have great attitudes and great customer service. Vanessa went above and beyond to ensure I and all other customers were well taken care of.
Horrible Horrible Horrible. ZERO stars. I would NEVER go to this location again. Rude staff. They didn’t have the cookies that we wanted (which was ok) and paid for but they said they could not refund my money. So we paid for cookies we didn’t want and they were crushed. The sandwich we received was missing half of what we asked for on it and what we did ask for there was barely any of those items on it. I contacted the owner (which I never do) who was so unhelpful and did not care at all and has not responded to my follow up email. Attached is a picture of the sandwich we got.
I wouldn't recommend this place! I walked in today and instead of being greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread, I noticed a chemical odor. I see a person standing on top of a ladder behind the counter. He must have been an employee or at least someone authorized to be behind the counter. I walked closer to the counter and noticed that he appeared to be spraying an air vent. I noticed a fine mist flying around in the air, which I thought was paint, but I wasn't sure. One of the employees is behind the counter and puts on her gloves ready to serve me. I ask "do you think of covering the food before spraying?" She says "what?". I repeat the question and she appears to look up. I then said "nevermind" and walked out. I contacted Subway on their website and described the situation. I hope they actually investigate the issue. I'm never setting foot in that Subway again. I think it was my first time inside and definitely the last.
Send husband to Subway with a paper with my order written on it very specifically. I told him don't read it just handed to them and let them handled it so that you don't get it wrong because he always gets it wrong so there was no blame on him because he had no idea what I wanted. I asked for two handfuls of Olives I know it's extreme I don't mind paying extra it's what I like I'm the customer I should get my way. I asked for honey mustard and ranch my sandwich was dry as a bone. There were seven leaves of spinach on it. I didn't look for the receipt to call the store and realize that the cashier had failed to give my husband a receipt. When I called the store 2 report the issue, The Sandwich Artist to answer the phone failed to identify themselves and I was told that it was my husband's fault because he was there and he saw the sandwich being made and should have said something. I was also told that there was nothing she could do about it tonight that I would have to call back in the morning there was no way she could issue a refund and then hung up in my face. I called back twice with no answer. I will be calling in the morning speak with the manager and do a follow-up review thank you for your time and attention.
