Tip: Try the Malaysian dishes and anything stir-fried for the 'wok hei' flavor. If you like spicy food, confirm the spice level when ordering General Tso's Chicken.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Service was excellent as was the hot n sour soup! We ordered Triple Delight and MooGooGaiPan…both were great!
I've only ever gotten delivery or takeout from here, but I LOVE it. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered here and I've eaten here numerous times. They literally have the best Crab Rangoon! Sometimes, I just order a couple of those and eat that since it's so good! I highly recommend this place!
I don’t like leaving 5 stars with the first order but the delivery was fast (to Garland) the food was still hot and the fried rice was soooo delicious. My son ordered the orange chicken and loved it. I will be ordering again . Again, the food was still piping hot upon delivery I am super impressed. Let me also mention the portions were very generous. I was just on google trying to find a good place and this one caught my eye, so glad I found this restaurant.
The sesame chicken here is the best I’ve had anywhere! It’s crispy and never soggy with genuine flavor. I’m not picky at all and like to try something different on the menu every time I order. I just wish their menu explained more in detail what I’m getting so I can remember my top meals. Other than that minor flaw… I still give them 5 stars because food and service is always great!
I work in Wylie and have tried several Chinese places around the area for lunches. They all tasted of the same bland salty average-at-best food. I got the Garlic Chicken with Hot & Sour soup and a egg roll at Panda Chef today. This place is great! The sauce was actually spicy and flavorful like garlic sauce should be. The Hot & Sour soup was a bit spicy and tangy like it should be. I did not call ahead for my carry out, but I was there only 5 or 6 minutes and the service was friendly. The portion size was good for the price. I will be going back.
Julianna was so helpful and nice! They are always so busy but don't rush you and make your food delicious! Fair prices and when you ask for spicy you get spicy! Combination plates are good with plenty of shrimp! Great place!
Panda Chef is our family’s favorite place to order in the area. We’ve dined in several times but mostly order delivery. The food is always great! We’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve tried. The portions are large, and we always have leftovers to enjoy after. Staff is friendly and delivery has always been Quick and easy for us. Would definitely recommend!
Awesome food! Awesome service! Awesome vibe!
I always visit this restaurant when I am in town, and I always leave satisfied! the portions are generous and prices are fantastic! Service is always friendly and very quick! The steamed dumplings and lo mien are my favorite! Please continue to support this wonderful family business!
I have known Ming since he opened the shop. This family is a hard core Chinese restaurant family. They are not lazy and are pretty much there all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant but I recommend you experiment to find exactly what you like. If you have a dish you like but have never tried it here, try it. If it's not what you envisioned try another. I like the Mongolian beef, super spicy and wife likes the flat noodles. Kiddos like either the sesame chicken or the sweet and sour chicken. It's really nice inside although I always do take out. Of course they serve plenty of food. I get at least two meals out of it.
Ate dinner here not knowing I was about to have some of the best Chinese food to ever grace my stomach. I had the orange beef which had a fantastic sauce with just the right amount of heat. I also had the blue crab and cheese wontons which were hands down the best wontons I’ve ever eaten. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Highly recommend.
Had a soup craving and ordered take out of all three types. The soups were hot and delicious. The veggie spring rolls were also really good. Definitely my new go to.
Great little to go restaurant. Good customer service, fast delivery my food are still hot when I got it. The price were really good. I was really surprised for the huge portions size. We’ll definitely order again.
I love the chicken fried rice here! I’m somewhat of a picky eater so I appreciate that it’s just rice, carrots, peas and chicken, making it very simple. My whole family likes to order from here when we’re all in town together and we recommend it to anyone asking about a good Chinese food restaurant. Go to Panda Chef!!
Went here when i was in town for work. Food was delicious. Everything was fresh. Customer service was excellent. Always willing to help us. Highly recommend!
The best fried rice and very generous portions!!!
This place is so good!! Their orange chicken, white rice, and lo mein with garlic have so much flavor!! They're super fast and their online ordering is easy and fast as well.
The food is fresh and service is great! Especially loved the shrimp tempura.
I was passing through the city of Sachse and decided to stop by Panda Chef—and I’m so glad I did! I tried the fried rice and General Tso’s chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. I had a quick chat with the owner, who is super friendly, and found out they just took over the restaurant a few days ago. It’s now under new ownership and a new chef, which definitely explains why the food tasted way better than what I had read in older reviews. You can really tell the difference. I’ll definitely be back again and will be recommending Panda Chef to all my friends and family. If you’re in the area, it’s worth the stop!
The bacon fried rice was insanely good. Will be back every week for it. I was ecstatic when we were able to secure them to cater one of our house parties.
I just drove 17 mins to get to this restaurant to buy my fav Malaysian Hokien noodles. It is so hard to find a restaurant selling Malaysian cuisine and the few we tried did not meet up to the taste back home. I saw a post in my facebook of this new management that taken over Panda Chef and the person who posted that said the Malaysian hokien noodle was like home. And she was not wrong the Noddle tasted like home, delicious and I am doing my happy stomach full happy dance. Finally now I can have my Malaysian hokien mee. I can't wait for them to add more Malaysian Cuisine.
1st time here for take out. Staff was really nice & helpful—I saw a pic of a dish on a review called Singapore Noodles. I wanted the same type of rice noodles but with chicken. They made sure it was what I wanted, going so far as to bring it out for me to ok it before boxing it up to go. Delicious! We also tried Orange Chicken & Szechuan Chicken. All were cooked perfectly, hot & very fresh. Really yummy. Even after taking it home & eating 20 min later the Orange Chicken was crispy. Our kids loved it too. Our new go-to for take out!
We came in 30 minutes before closing and they were more than welcomed to serve us. They were very kind and provided very quick and nice service. Now let me talk to you about the quality and speed of service of the food, in my 24 years on earth, this is the best food I’ve ever had in my life.
It was good and fresh and taste good. We dined In. It was a little bland but it was good over all! Place was very clean and nice. I was hoping for a little bit more spicy but it was great.

Food was awesome and server was super nice
While I have never visited the establishment, we have ordered the sesame chicken 4 times now and it is sooooooooo good! Lunch and dinner portions are just right accordingly with leftovers. Just full of flavor, have been telling friends as we would have never known about this place if it weren't for Uber Eats advertising it one day. We have found our new Chinese restaurant!
Panda Chef is hands down the best local Chinese spot I’ve found. Family owned, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. The Szechuan combo was bold, flavorful, and hit every note it should. My girlfriend went with the pineapple fried rice and loved every bite. The family running this place is genuinely sweet, and that warmth carries into everything they do. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor.
This Chinese restaurant caters to the general palette but it also has some Malaysian dishes which you will never be disappointed of (just ask!). Anything stir fried will have the most coveted “wok hei” flavour signalling top notch Chinese cooking. I ordered two party trays of fried rice for a Thanksgiving potluck - by the time the potluck was done I was busy answering questions about where I got the fried rice from. So happy for this little gem to remind me of home every now and then.
Highly recommend this restaurant! The food is amazing and delicious. I really enjoyed my meal. The staffs are super nice and great to talk to about their culture. Really lovely place to have a meal with family and friends!
Me and my grandmother saw the new reviews and decided to check it out. The food was a 10/10 The atmosphere is a 4/10. Because there weren't any other people here But the overall cost was 44.24$ But I would recommend this to your friends, family's and to everyone else
First time trying really good flavor and good service me and my family love it we will be back soon
My fiancee and I went here for the first time yesterday. Food and service were excellent!! We will be back!!
2nd time here, food is always super good and extremely fresh! You want to start eating immediately but I warn you, it’s going to be super hot!

I was totally surprised to see how empty it was inside when my fiancee & I grabbed lunch last Sat. Fiancee reminded me that college football games were happening... Anyways, their takeout business was doing lots of business & I was surprised that our food didnt come out on plates, but in togo containers and the staff member gave us disposable plates and cutlery and water glasses. We tried the soup dumplings, & scallion pancackes for starts, & sesame balls for dessert. Our mains were sesame chicken & mongolian beef. I had lots of onions & scallions in the beef but no carrots. Sesame chicken had no vegetables. Taste was good & portions very large.
The group was on the hunt for something other than the traditional burgers, home cooking and Mexican food so we selected one of the first places we ate as a family when we moved to North Texas, Panda Chef. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. When you enter, you place the order and have to use QR Code which surfaces during the lockdowns. The boys really are conservative with their Chinese food and selected orange chicken, the smallest monkey is satisfied with his noodles, and I got the beef and vegetables. As a quick start we shared the egg rolls. The cashier was so friendly and funny. She made us feel comfortable in an empty restaurant. The egg rolls were very hot but chispy and good. The food arrived very fast and after praying to HIM, we enjoyed our meal. The orange chicken was not that sweet like other places. The beef and vegetables had a good taste yet the garlic sauce a bit bland. With all the plates, appetizers and customer service it was a good experience. A bit heavy on the price at $66 but warm and fresh tasting Chinese is always a plus.

The food was delivered fast. But... My beef with veggies was just broccoli with 1 yes. 1 sliver of carrot. No other veggies. The sauce was oily and had very little flavor. There were no condiments provided with the delivery. So have your own on hand if you spend money here.
Anything Lo Mein is excellent, we had ordered lo mein as a side dish yesterday. The crispy beef had good review but was overbreaded when we ordered it yesterday. Same with the orange beef. Too much cornstarch. There were even clumps of partially cooked cornstarch that crumbled apart when I bit into one particularly big piece. It was gross. Wish we could have rewinded time and ordered two house special lo mein. That dish is delicious. We went with that dish tonight and was not disappointed. I did pay a little more to add the baby corn and mushrooms, well worth it. The pork egg roll we also recommend. Good crunch, not too hard nor burnt. Sweet and sour dipping sauce was appreciated. Combining the two days together in one review that’s two unappetizing entrees, and three impressive menu items, so a three star it is.

My family ate here a lot when it was under old management. We pretty much get the same things, General Tso's Chicken and Mongolian Beef. We've ordered to-go orders twice since new management took over. Both times, the Gen. Tso's Chicken had no spiciness & the chicken tasted more like McDonald's chicken nuggets instead of freshly battered/fried chicken, and the beef dish was more black pepper and onions than a flavorful meal. Disappointed in the changes. On the plus side, the people were very friendly & our food was ready quickly. Hope some improvements are made.

Got a delivery order, they had no sauces for the crab rangoons, the fried rice wasn’t fried rice, they forgot my spring rolls, but the orange chicken was good. Which is why I gave them 2 stars. I’ve eaten here a handful of times but this was the worst experience I’ve had.
Tried it for the first time ordering about $60 in takeout. Some of the food was ok, but the browns rice was inedible. The staff was extremely friendly which makes me hate giving a low rating. Unfortunately, even though I live a couple miles away, we won't be going back. The orange chicken was the highlight, and on it's own merit, I would give the orange chicken around a 3.5 of 5. The chicken teriyaki was disappointing, but the chicken fried rice was decent, but most places have better.
I ordered the Pad Thai, while it was pretty OK tasting, it definitely wasn't Pad Thai, the sauce didn't taste like a traditional Pad Thai sauce, there were no peanuts, no bean sprouts, no balance of flavor, just spicy. This was the first time trying the food here and sadly I don't think I'd return.
Used to be tasty must have changed ownership or chefs, quality gone way down. Sesame chicken used to be small chunks and crispy now a soggy mess. Not good.
The last time I ordered their food, the chicken was undercooked in two different dishes. That was over a year ago. Egg rolls were good, but I don't eat undercooked chicken that should never have made it out the door. No excuse. I have not ordered their food since, and will not again.
Leaving a review to let everyone know that customer service here is terrible. I called ahead of ordering to ask whether the Cashew Chicken had bell pepper in it. I was read a list of ingredients that did not include bell pepper and then the gentleman on the phone said “so yeah, no bell pepper.” I ordered the dish for pick up, we got it and brought it home, and lo and behold, there were huge chunks of bell pepper in it. I called and asked for a refund of the cost of the particular dish, and I was told that the owner “puts bell peppers in it, and the person who took your order did a bad job explaining, so there won’t be a refund.” I will be contacting the better business bureau as well as my bank to have the charge reversed, and this restaurant has lost my business.
The only one in there on a Saturday night at seven was me, now I know why . The food is tasteless
i order beef broccoli from this store was my first time and i found metal on my food i was trying to be nice and i call the restaurant trying to explain someone there so they can be carful with the food and they told me they busy and the guy he answer the phone was so ducking mean i was just trying to be nice so they don't have problems with other customers
Panda chef has been trending down over the last couple of years. They have reached a whole new low. I ordered jalapeño chicken. $15. It had sauce, lots of onion and green bell pepper, two slices of jalapeño and 2 medium sized pieces of chicken. I spent almost $70 for a family of four to eat. I use to justify this because I had enough of an entree to have leftovers. That is no longer the case. Don't order anything with veggies. Order orange chicken or general tso chicken. At least you get enough chicken to justify the $15 takeout price. Won't fall for that again. Lost a customer. I have ordered from there since you opened. Edit: i tried my kids orange chicken. I thought the order was full of chicken, however, they have started triple breading chicken to use less real chicken. That container only has 25% chicken despite it being completely full. If you want fried batter with sauce, then you'll like it. Otherwise, I would steer clear.
