Ottimo Ristorante a pochi metri dal Lungomare. Servizio Preciso e non invadente. Qualità dei prodotti elevata,ottimo il crudo di pesce. Primi superlativi. Genovese di Tonno la migliore mangiata dalla costiera amalfitana a quella cilentana. Prezzo non elevato per la qualità dei prodotti. Carta dei vini molto ampia.

Ambiente accogliente e raffinato, cibo di qualità e servizio ai tavoli molto professionale. Addirittura io che non sono proprio un amante del "cibo di mare" ho apprezzato tantissimo la loro cucina. I prezzi ovviamente e giustamente si collocano su una fascia alta, in linea con altri ristoranti dello stesso tipo. Tuttavia a pranzo, durante la settimana offrono la scelta tra 2 menù scomponibili al costo di 15€ con un antipasto, un primo, una bottiglia d'acqua ed un calice di vino. Per me è uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce a Salerno centro. Assolutamente consigliato!

Abbiamo pranzato in questo splendido locale ieri intorno alle 13. Ci hanno fatto subito accomodare nonostante non avessimo la prenotazione. Martina la ragazza che ci ha servito, si è presa cura di noi dall'inizio del servizio fino alla fine è stata impeccabile, super gentile e tanto tanto preparata. Il nostro tavolo era proprio vicino alla cucina e tra una portata e l'altra ho potuto osservare come lavorassero. Abbiamo optato per due antipasti di crudi e due primi. Al primo boccone si sentiva già il mare, materie prime freschissime e di qualità e particolare attenzione anche nell'impiattamento Ancora i miei complimenti, torneremo sicuramente.

Ritornare a Salerno, in zona lungomare, e scoprire quest'ottimo ristorante a base di pesce di altissimo livello, è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Antipasti, primi e secondi di gran assortimento, con pesce freschissimo. Ottimi anche i dolci, tutti della casa. Personale molto cortese, professionale e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Bagni molto puliti e dotati di tutti i comfort. Conviene prenotare, dato che è sempre molto accorsato. Prezzi congrui con l'alta qualità offerta.

Una piacevolissima scoperta questo Ristorante al centro di Salerno! Tutto quello che promette è vero ed anche di più: siamo andati ieri mio marito ed io con nostro figlio e nuora. Cibo freschissimo, preparato con cura, in modo trasparente poiché la cucina è a vista. Inappuntabile il servizio. Abbondante il personale per chi ogni cliente è pienamente seguito. Ieri ho cenato in questo ristorante di pesce e sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita. Il cibo è semplicemente strepitoso: ingredienti freschi, piatti abbondanti e preparati con una cura che si nota subito, sia nel gusto che nella presentazione. Il locale è super carino, accogliente e curato nei dettagli, perfetto per una serata tranquilla e piacevole. Un punto a favore anche per il personale, sempre gentile, attento e disponibile senza mai risultare invadente. I prezzi sono leggermente sopra la media, è vero, ma la qualità e l’esperienza complessiva fanno sì che ne valga assolutamente la pena. Consigliatissimo per gli amanti del buon pesce!

Locale raffinato e ambiente familiare, il maitre Isidoro è una garanzia per competenza e savoir-faire. Staff attento e servizio impeccabile. Ampia proposta di vini e, dulcis in fundo, la cucina: qualità, freschezza e sapori veraci. Consigliatissimo per occasioni formali e in coppia.

A great fish restaurant. We tried a few different raw starters and everything was very fresh and delicious. They have gluten free pasta and the pasta with clams that we ordered was some of the best gluten-free pasta that I’ve tried. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Esperienza molto positiva; Il cibo è curato, servito perbene come si evince da foto, le pietanze preparate con passione, cura e sapore. Il personale di sala è preparato e attento alle esigenze, sempre presente ma con riservatezza e garbo; Ho ricevuto anche un sincero ed ottimale consiglio su una buona etichetta qualità/prezzo senza svenarsi Da eccepire, per la serata appena trascorsa, solo una piccola nota dolente per eccessiva fretta e stanchezza del personale. Buon ristorante di pesce in centralissima posizione, con ambiente informale ma molto piacevole. Propone sia piatti più propriamente tradizionali che rivisitazioni come ad esempio la parmigiana di pesce o la genovese con ventresca di tonno. Ampia la selezione di vini, anche alla mescita. Il personale é molto cortese e disponibile verso i clienti rendendo veramente piacevole la permanenza nel locale. Considerata la qualità delle materie prime e l'ottimo servizio il prezzo trovo sia adeguato anche se non economico.

We were at "Suscettibile Salerno" yesterday and had their tasting menu and were very impressed. Tonight we decided to try here. Overall, we feel the "Suscettibile Salerno" provides better value. The wine list there is not as extensive but the "by the glass" choices here are very limited. Both restaurants have really nice raw fish starters but we think the other one is somewhat better.

Under normal circumstances I would give this a 5 but it didn’t live up to it’s Michelin expectations we had. For example, the bread was presented as three particular types, but was nothing special, perhaps because it was a bit stale. They happily recommended a regional wine, but it didn’t fit with fish at all.

Amazing service, beautiful decor. Good attention to covid safety, always reminding you to wash your hands and wear a mask if standing by the door to pay. They treat you like kings (even if we were 1 hour late), they are proud of their produce and passionate about the cuisine. 5 star service, even gave us an amuse bouche and offered limoncello! The calamari were the best I had in my life by far, however the burrata shrimp tartare was tasteless and was missing a kick however it pictured beautifully

Fresh (of course) and bright flavors with marginally attentive staff. We also had some hapless lobsters as an audience which brought down the ambience a little. Definitely enjoyable but the experience didn’t rise above the other great competition in Salerno.

A distanza di un anno devo rivedere un po’ la mia ultima recensione su questo locale. Accoglienza solita con prosecco di benvenuto per scusarsi dell’attesa per il tavolo prenotato ma non ancora pronto. Questa volta ci hanno preservato uno dei tavoli all’entrata, un po’ addossati l’uno all’altro compromettendo la privacy e soprattutto vicino al bancone che i camerieri usano come banco da servizio. Tempi di attesa per le prime pietanze esagerati, gli antipasti sono arrivati dopo 35’ che eravamo seduti e stuzzicavamo l’unica cosa sul tavolo: il pane. L’antipasto non ci ha entusiasmato, un soutè di vongole normalissimo, buona la materia prima ma la preparazione lasciava a desiderare, in un ristorante del genere ti aspetti qualcosa in più. Calamari gratinati idem. Buoni i primi, uno con alici e pomodorini gialli dal sapore delicato e apprezzabile anche da chi non gradisce particolarmente questo tipo di pesce. L’altra pietanza un nero con pesce spada, capperi e olive molto buono. Nota dolente il dessert, un babà (dal costo di 6€) servito da solo, in un piatto come un morto senz’anima e non bagnato adeguatamente, qualità mediocre. Scusatemi ma da buon napoletano il babà è una cosa seria. L’altro dessert una coppa con due palle di gelato al pistacchio con un goccio di olio, che un tempo servivate diversamente aggiungendo un po’ di mille foglie o qualcosa del genere, prezzo a dir poco esorbitante. Il cameriere con la barbetta che serviva i tavoli all’ingresso, troppo intraprendente, a volte direi anche fastidioso negli atteggiamenti, andrebbero contenute le modalità di approccio con il cliente. Carta dei vini direi ottima, con una buona varietà di prodotti, ma mancava una figura importate come il sommelier, non si può servire al tavolo una bottiglia di vino di buon livello, non aprendola davanti al cliente e lasciandola sul tavola 10’ in attesa di un glacette con ghiaccio. Considerato la location ed i prezzi impopolari, ti aspetti qualcosa in più in termini di qualità, innovazione dei piatti, servizio etc.

I went here with my friend. The food was pretty decent - though nothing outstanding. The service and atmosphere felt cold and unfriendly. I am not sure if it was due to our race (similar to the reviews below) but the service was very disappointing. The waitresses pretty much ignored our table unless we called them, and they weren’t friendly at all. My friend and I thought they were cold and rude. We never experienced this treatment and service (or lack thereof) at any other restaurants in Salerno, Amalfi and Rome. You’re better off spending that money on another Michelin restaurant that would probably treat you better.

I chose this restaurant because of it’s Michelin recommendations. There aren’t enough words to describe how horrible this dining experience was. When the waitress understood that we only wanted a first course she didn’t take our order and called the manager to take it. I found that odd. The servings were made with frozen seafood and with less than 80 grams of pasta. The service was horrible. We were seated next to the kitchen and they didn’t take our coats as they did for the local customers. They offered a welcome drink with appetizers to the local customers but only one tasting appetizer to our table. When we were served our digestive liqueurs they offered ‘cantucci’ (traditional almond biscuits from Tuscany)! When I asked why they didn’t offer a local recipe biscuit the answer was: “The ‘Chef’ makes the decision of what to offer to the customers”. The absolute worst dining experience in 30 years of living Italy.

It’s tiring being judged and treated based on the color of our skin. Whether they understand it or not, there is an unconscious bias. We came in for lunch and were super excited for the meal given that it is in the Michelin guide. When we got there, the restaurant was not full. We were seated in between a table celebrating a party of about 10 people and a group of 3. The staff was not so welcoming, but I think the manager was the most attentive one, at least in the beginning. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment. We were the only brown people in the establishment, and it was clear we were being treated differently. The wait staff were all passive. We ordered a bottle of wine and noticed that our glasses were not being refilled, unlike the other groups around us whose glasses were constantly being topped up. We tested this out a few times by emptying our glasses and waited, but the staff ignored us until they eventually caught on. It's exhausting to see this kind of differential treatment. I hate having to judge an establishment based on how I'm treated instead of the quality of their food, but my experience was soured, and I couldn't enjoy my meal. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially for a place with such a prestigious reputation. I hope the management addresses this issue and ensures that all guests are treated with the respect and attention they deserve…we are all paying customers.
