Preguntas frecuentes sobre D'Albert
Opiniones de D'Albert Salou
Hemos ido a cenar.
Actualizado a agosto 2020. Uno de mis imprescindibles en Salou. Buena relación calidad precio. Menú cerrado muy satisfactorio. Ambiente acogedor y elegante.
Servicio atento. Lo recomiendo.
Very pleasantly surprised. Having eaten at the other end of Salou & overpaying for reheated frozen food, we thought we'd try the port. Attentive waiting staff & the food was very nice. The best bit? Such good value!
A positive surprise. We have walked past it so far, but this time we decided to visit. Nice restaurant with polite and professional service. We ordered black rice dish and house cheesecake and profiteroles. All three dishes were delicious. Cava was served at the right temperature. And with all this, the price level was lower than in other restaurants of the same level. Thank you for the positive emotion. We recommend.
I recently dined at this restaurant, and the place is obviously underrated. While the food was amazing, the service was a bit inconsistent. Paul was exceptionally kind🩷(thank you), but we waited over five minutes for help from other staff. Despite this, I highly recommend the place — the food was outstanding and definitely worth it!
It's not something you see everyday when a restaurant can specialize in both seafood and pizza, and still be quite decent. 🍕Very nice pizza with thin crust. Lots of options. 🍚 Ordered 2 paellas and they were both very good quality. 🍹Reasonably priced drinks. Recommend trying the Sangria. 🍰 Homemade desserts 🧑💼Was sometimes difficult to get the attention of the waiters, but nothing too crazy. Overall a great dine in experience with fair prices to be so close to the beach.
Top quality restaurant, fantastic value for top quality food, service and setting. Lots of staff so there is no waiting around for anything you require, we had, clams fisherman style, fried baby s…
Excellent service lovely food in a lovely setting. The prices for the food we had were very fair, as was the wine and soft beverages

This looks a nice restaurant, but the menu is limited and rigid. We sat down ordered half jug of sangria, which was okay. The waiting staff were a little flustered with our limited Spanish. Paella …
Lovely setting but wish we’d read reviews before. We ordered pasta, spaghetti bolognaise was lukewarm and best and lasagna was slightly better but bland. Would not recommend and will not return.
d'Albert is on the 'pier' next to the boat harbor and the beach/promenade. Some wait staff spoke English and menus included English. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Went for lunch and ordered the goat cheese and walnuts salad, grilled baby squid, and the monkfish souque with clams. The salad had a nice piece of fried goat cheese but lacked dressing and also contained some canned corn, which I think ruins anything. Asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil which improved the salad, after picking out the corn. The baby squid was served plain with a wedge of lemon that was tasteless and chewy. The monkfish dish saved the overall experience. Large pieces of fish with a few small clams and sliced potatoes and a generous portion of tasty sauce. The monkfish was very good. A nice place to enjoy food and drinks sitting outside enjoying the day.
The meal was good and well prepared, but the experience was spoiled by the lack of friendliness from the staff. A warmer welcome would have made a real difference

Very nice place on the beach, food was very nice and drinks were nice We sat outside and waiters took a long time to come to us but it was a good place.
The place was empty but we presumed it was because it was just opening. The female member of staff was rude no smiles and barely spoke, but the male member was more friendly. Food was poor my daughter got 4 Prawns in her pasta my carbonara was tastless and my sons veal was to chewy, no one finished their meal. Drinks were strong so i can't complain about that.
Sorry but the place only looks good. The food is bad. The paella was bitter. The pizza had no taste, no salt. The worst sangria we ever had, a bad wine with lemon pieces, water and ice. On top of all, we waited 2 min in front for someone to get us in while there was just one table occupied.

Very good food but the waiter with a little boy very angry towards customers, when asked why are you angry she said because it’s too bussy…..
I can't think of anything nice to say about the place. Sat ourselves at the table, had to grab our own menus, some of our guests had no sides with their inflatable priced meals and some of the food was not up to specification plus they slyly overcharged us for bread I didn't even order (don't think I didn't see that). This restaurant came recommended to us by a friend who I have no confidence in anymore. One star is generous. Place seems like it's in a great location but it's quite a walk from other more popular establishments and I wish I could get those two hours back
1 star is too much. Don’t eat here and certainly don’t bother if you are English. My friend has a severe allergy and was served a dish with the food concerned. They replaced the dish but after the rest of us had finished. When we asked for it to be removed from the bill the staff were beyond rude and threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay. Apparently this was due to us being English. Food was very average, service was the rudest of my life and prices way higher than the rest of Salou.
Food was poorly prepared much of it seemed reheated rather than cooked to order. The service is very poor. About 12 table staff standing around talking while only one appears to have the training to to take orders. People sitting beside us had the orders replaced twice before getting up and leaving. If you want to experience of how a restaurant shouldn't be run come here, it's a job for Gordon Ramsey. In fairness the staff were very young and probably just working summer jobs. We dined here previously in 2016 and it was very good. Obviously things have changed in the wrong direction since then. Terrible, avoid if you can book elsewhere.
I share the opinion of others who gave 1* in the last few weeks. This is the list of what went wrong with the service: 1. We ordered 2 Aperol Spritz. They were delivered to a wrong table. 2. When these were delivered, the waiter took them away saying there is something missing in them. 3. We ordered food, including a half bottle of wine. We waited 32 min for the starter jamón ibérico to be brought to the table. I had to call the waiter and ask him where is the starter. He didn’t see a problem and asked to speak with the manager. 4. The starter was delivered to a wrong table. 5. The wine was not served. We had the main dish. We asked for the bill, as we were disappointed and upset. 6. We were charged for the wine we didn’t drink. We told the waiter the bill is wrong and asked him to bring us the correct bill. He didn’t know what was wrong with it and called his colleague, who, in short, told us there’s no need to make a drama and just let them know the bill is wrong. 7. Zero apologies throughout this appalling dining experience. 8. We were served by 5 people when 2 would be enough. 9. Chaotic service and poorly trained and poorly managed staff. The food was tasty, but the service, starting from the bar (wrong drink), finishing with poor staff management was very disappointing.
Absolutely disgusting service. My food, the seafood paella was actually very nice. My father had the chicken scallop which he ended up getting served pork instead, and my stepmum got the Cod. Service at the start was ‘okay’, kind of slow but manageable. It all came at the middle to end. When we received our food, it looked lovely, but it was obviously just for looks rather than taste on my fathers dish. Like I said previously, he ordered the chicken and received pork, however he is not one to complain about something like this. The pork was tough and as he described was ‘like leather. However, the main problem was with the chips that were served with both the cod and the scallop. They were drastically undercooked. They were crunchy and snapped when slightly bent. We asked for a different round of chips and I specially asked for them to be cooked longer and instead we received a new plate of chips, of which were slightly better but also, not cooked to standard. We asked for the manager after and explained that the food was not up to scratch and that it was not nice. He didn’t not seem to care whatsoever, no acknowledgment of our dislike and no apology. If you go through recent reviews, you will see many say that the chips were undercooked, which trust me, coming from a chef is a difficult thing to do. How do you undercook a chip? Who knows. We then received the bill and they had taken the chips off but not the scallop of pure leather they served to my dad. My dad asked to speak to the manager again as it was getting tiring going back and forth and we ended up speaking to what we presumed was the owner. It went even further downhill from here, which must be a milestone. The owner took our complaint and went inside, again, no apology. He came back around 5 mins later and said that they had reduced the scallop to 50% of the price. This was not good enough. We were quite happy to pay the bill, but not happy to pay for a price of leather. My dad asked why and the owner said that it’s because my dad ate all of the food. This is not the case at all. My dad ate 1/4 of the scallop of pork which was meant to be chicken and a few chips because quite frankly, both were genuinely inedible. The owner started to be aggressive saying that the chips and scallop of leather were not over cooked and undercooked, and my father pointed out that I am a chef, as I am, and that I more than any random person know when something is either undercooked and overcooked. The owner said ‘everybody here is a chef’ in a sarcastic way, which was not appreciated by any of us. The owner was overall rude and aggressive. We said we were not paying for the piece of boot and he claimed that he will call the police. I told him to call the police knowing that it was a civil matter as we had not left the restaurant yet as we were more than happy to pay for everything else. He was then aggressive even more and caused a scene in front of everybody, which looks bad on his part? Overall disgusting experience, extremely amateur chefs who can only cook paella, the easiest dish on the whole menu. Owner, get your chefs, especially sous and head some more training, as that should not be going through the pass knowing fine well the chips were completely undercooked. I’m still bewildered on how you can undercook chips? Just double/triple cook them next time? Little tip from an actual trained chef for you there. Families, it looks tempting and lovely from the outside, but please, don’t go in, food expensive for what you get, chips frozen and also undercooked, staff relatively rude and the owner has no idea on how to run a restaurant, which shows with his 3* rating. Owner, be ashamed of yourself, and have a long think on whether you should run a business and therefore a restaurant and whether your schoolboy chefs should be working there. Because from an actual chefs point of view, you should all be embarrassed.
Went to eat at this restaurant with a group of friends. The food was average however a little on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in the area. The service was also nothing special. The main reason for my poor review however is the food poisoning all 5 of us experienced after. This included severe vomiting and high fevers. Unfortunately we all shared the same Calamari starter which is suspect to be the the reason. The chips served in all of our main dishes seemed to be very stale. Unfortunately we had to board our return flight back home very ill and even ended up being escorted of the airplane upon arrival by ambulance. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
Don’t waste your money here. We waited 30 minutes for soft drinks and another 50 minutes for food. We were seated right at the back and it felt like they forgot about us half of the time. The steak was mainly fat, the seafood paella had barely any fish. And the spaghetti Bolognese was cold. Food is overpriced and not tasty at all.
Honestly, I don't write reviews often, but I feel I must today. If I could leave no stars, I would. Heed the warning about not eating here if you're not Spanish, it's unfortunately very true. I ordered a steak well done, from an English speaking waitress. It came bloody, twice. Third time, a little less bloody, but still nowhere near well done. My husband asked for ice for his drink, never came. In the beginning we asked for a table by the fountain, but were told it was reserved. It remained empty until 5 minutes before we left. Oh, and they add the taxes to the price on the menu, which is not the norm at any other places we've been to in Spain. Seems like another chance for them to stick it to the tourist. Unpleasant experience over all. Stay away at all costs.
