My first visit to a new eatery in some time now, DoubleDaves and Ryan both get my thanks for making it a good experience. The experience receives 5 stars from me today because it scored good or above in the following categories: Location, Atmosphere, Quality, Value, and Service. The last one, service is due to Ryan’s positive attitude, genuine desire to help, commitment to customer service, willingness to do the right thing the right way, and finally the personal responsibility he exhibits to serving both his employer and the customer at the same time. We will be back to eat here again, and management, whatever you are doing to grow positive productive customer loving employees whom do thier work joyfully, keep doing it. Thanks DD and Thank You Ryan for making my first visit the first of many. Also, they offer great deals on food, provide arcade style games to play while you wait, and all sorts of other value added extras; try for yourself and you will see. DC

This was my first time ordering delivery from this restaurant. I chose Double Dave's because they offer a cauliflower crust. Prompt service and delivery was on-time and correct. The gluten free crust tasted amazing ...would highly recommend!!

Really freaking good tasting pizza.🤤 Not a lot of grease. The toppings and bread to the pizza was so good! My first time here and I was shook!! Good prices. I expected to burn a hole in my pocket but It was so affordable. $1.50 pizza rolls!!! Like whattttt!!! The staff was tenative, kind, and had a clean work space! Food was served hot and packaged great to ensure no germs all over your food! This location was clean, tables all socially spaced out. My family will be long time customers! Dave’s was fairly quick to get the pizza out. We ordered a cheese pizza (large) thin crust and a medium split (Alfredo / meat lovers) deep dish. Both were tasty. Prices are fair. The free arcade games are nice entertainment if you have kids. The bathroom is not super clean and could use some work. Other than that it seems like a decent establishment.

Been a Double Dave's fan/customer for more than a decade, usually ordering "The Works" gluten-free medium size pizza. I'm sorry to share that what was once a pizza for the two of us to share (along with our homemade salad) is now only a 9", six slice 'personal pizza.' I opened the box & asked about this when I picked it up: the guy said the crust comes one size & sometimes it shrinks? While still delicious, it's not worth the almost $18 cost.

I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and instead got a pizza with no sauce. When I called to complain I was told there was nothing they could do about it because I ordered it through a food delivery app! No refund or credit for the pizza which I paid $19 for. The woman I spoke with just casually wrote me off. What does the incorrect preparation of the food for your restaurant have to do with the appointment. The correct order was on the receipt so it was a mistake on the restaurants end. Very disappointed as I was hoping to do further business with them. I buy pizza every week and was looking for a new spot. Guess I'll keep searching.

We came to this establishment to meet with family we had not see in a long time. Although the food was good, the service was poor, the food took a long time to come out, and they started closing up shop at 7pm. The cashier who was a girl with dark hair had her boyfriend come in, and was all googly eyes over him and gave him a free drink. She also told a customer who wanted to buy food that they were closed which wasn't true because it was like 8pm they close at 9pm. When she was stacking up chairs at 7pm she said they normally walk out at 9pm. Overall poor service, wouldn't recommend stopping here. They also took our parmasean cheese for some reason which looked gross and then they told us no rush but you have 10 minutes left. I think something needs to change with staff because they were not very welcoming and just ruined the vibe.

Guys This is a great part of town for a business to make their profit to pay employees to stay in business, this quality is absolute garbage. If you don’t care about your job then find another job and if you don’t care about your customers, then you shouldn’t be in business paying $35 for a burnt pizza plus delivery is absolutely inexcusable in an area of San Antonio where everything cost more because they assume we’re willing to pay more. I have no problem, compensating those that put an effort in, but this is an excusable and it’s happening more and more and more like we just wanna throw our money away Because some people have figured out that it’s easier To just coast instead of Delivering a quality product forget this place absolutely Disgusted. To The Owner HERE IS YOUR PRODUCT! It is My Hope you figure it out and stop ripping people off! Respectfully

I ordered the 18” Big Dave Meateater pizza 🍕. I used DoorDash as the delivery service. Pizza arrived a little late (store not responsible) and pizza was lukewarm borderline cold. The pizza itself was very flimsy with no hold(see pics) ingredients were falling off, and after further inspection it appeared that the crust was undercooked! I called DoorDash and complained to the manager at the store by phone. I got absolutely nowhere with him and I even offered to bring the pizza back to the store to show him (7 minutes away) and he refused told me that I would be wasting my time. I spent $31.85 on one ☝🏻 pizza +tip. I will say that this was my first time ordering from Double Dave’s but unfortunately, it was not a good experience and choice. Be aware if you use DoorDash and have an issue they will pass the buck on to them.
