Opiniones de Pizza Classics San Antonio
OMG! We are visiting from out of town and had food delivered to our hotel room. 2 sandwiches, 2 calzones, and an order of mozzarella sticks. There was SO MUCH more food than we were expecting and it's AMAZING!! We would've spent this much money at a big chain pizzeria and only had a meal for one night, we'll be eating on this for the remainder of our stay in San Antonio. Thank goodness our hotel room has a fridge.
A little pizza place. My daughter and her buddies were here a few weeks back, and she wanted me to try it. A large slice of pizza that equals 2 regular slices, with a salad and drink is less than $10. Food was good. Not awesome, obviously, but it satisfied and was tasty. Staff was nice and got the job done. Definitely will come back.
This pizza was absolutely delicious. Simple is better. So many places have a gimmick but this place is just simple, fun and tasty. No complaints but didn’t really care for the drinks. Otherwise perfect experience.
The food was stellar!!! My now fiancé went here to after our proposal at the Japanese restaurant garden. We saw Pizza Classics on our way in, and decided to pull up if they were open. They were! The food was soooo good. We got the buy one pie, get one free deal. We got one Delicious pizza to share together at the restaurant and one to take home to give to my parents. They ate the pizza the next day & said it was so still soo good. The service was great, we were served quickly. The pizza came out at a good time, didn’t wait long at all. It’s a very causal spot, feels like a nice “small town pizza joint” type place. You can tell this is a lot of people’s favorite/comfort pizza restaurant.
The best vegan pizza I've ever had! The cheese was so melty, the veggies fresh, and the pizza crust was crispy and delicious. I wish I had taken a picture but I ate it too fast.
They never disappoint! Everything is always spot on. You can literally watch them make the dough and toss it up in the air! The flavor is just so delicious. We get pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage with mushrooms and black olives. The slices of Canadian bacon are so big! And they are very generous with adding the toppings. Definitely love coming here.
To my knowledge this is the best pizza place in San Antonio. They have a wide variety of toppings, they are reasonably priced, and the pizza dough tastes fresh. I recommend getting it to go - the inside seating is uncomfortable and frankly the place is a little dirty, but the people are friendly and the pizza makes it worth it!
The pizza was good, it couldve used just a little more cheese but the over all taste was good, the crust was soft. The wings were Amazing, they had a lot of meat to them, cooked just right, very flavorful. The calzone was all meat very good not dry at all the crust was soft as well. Would definitely recommend, and will be going back.
What a fun little hidden gem!! I found it because of a Reddit thread about the best pizza in San Antonio. The BOGO pickup special made trying this place a no-brainer!! Ordered and picked up in 20 minutes and the pizza was delicious and LOADED!! Would definitely come back if I'm ever in San Antonio again! 10/10
Did a search on a local pizza place that wasn’t a chain pizza. I wanted to try local. You know it’s a darn good place when parking is full and there’s several people coming and going. I went for a specialty Pizza and it was buy one get one free. I took it to go and on the drive back to the hotel the vehicle smelled good. You know this was gonna be delicious. I dove right into the pizza not taking a moment to snap a picture of the before. Definitely liked it. Definitely recommend
Listen up, pizza lovers: if you haven’t made your way to Pizza Classics on Main Ave in San Antonio, you’re sleeping on one of the city’s most glorious, no-nonsense, full-throttle pizza joints. This isn’t your gourmet, truffle-oil, microgreen-topped nonsense. No—this is real pizza. Bold. Cheesy. Meaty. Legendary. Let me break it down slice by slice: The Four Cheese Pizza – A Meltdown of Magic This beauty is a cheese lover’s fever dream. A molten quartet of mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, and parmesan that doesn’t just melt—it sings. One bite, and your taste buds are swan-diving into a creamy, buttery sea of flavor. The crust? Golden, crisp-edged perfection with that slightly chewy center that makes every bite feel like a warm hug from an Italian grandmother. This is not just a cheese pizza—it’s a cheese celebration. The Hamburger Pizza – All-American Glory, Reimagined You think hamburger pizza is basic? Think again. This one brings the flavor heat. Perfectly seasoned beef—juicy, slightly smoky, and layered with finesse—plays beautifully with their tangy, tomato-forward sauce and golden cheese blanket. It’s like your favorite backyard burger met a New York slice and they fell in love in a brick oven. Every bite is nostalgic and comforting, but with enough oomph to make it unforgettable. The All Meat Pizza – A Carnivore’s Crown Jewel Five meats. One mission: dominate your cravings. Pepperoni with a perfect curl-and-crisp. Sausage that’s spicy and bold. Real bacon that crackles with smoky flavor. And then comes Canadian bacon and ground beef to round it out. It’s meaty, it’s hearty, and somehow, miraculously, not greasy. This isn’t just a meat lover’s pizza—it’s a meat lover’s parade with flavor floats crashing into your soul. Grab a napkin and hold on tight. Vibe Check – Chill, Classic, and So San Antonio No pretentious nonsense here—just red-checkered booths, the hum of a kitchen that knows its craft, and staff that treat you like family (the kind that knows your order by heart). It’s the perfect pitstop for a solo lunch, a late-night fix, or a feast with friends after a night downtown. 🔥 Final Slice: 5/5 Stars. No Debate. Pizza Classics isn’t just a pizza place—it’s a rite of passage for anyone serious about their slices. Come hungry. Leave euphoric
Classically Awesome!!! Pizza is always fresh, hot, delicious and easily hits home in my belly. Meat ball sub is always fantastic if you’re looking for a warm, flavorful full bite. I ordered the cinnamon rolls that came with a 4 oz cup of icing that I just could get enough of. This place is a gem that must be discovered by not just by locals but by tourist!!! I love it and you will too! My son loved the decor and stickers. Kids to parent to hipster to first time visit recommended!!
I could’ve sworn I left a review last time I went. I enjoy going to this place for pizza after a visit to the zoo. The pizza is really good here and the staff is really nice and helpful. Service is really good. We ordered the meat lover pizza and pepperoni pizza. The staff advised us on the most effective deal which was great. We also ordered the bbq wings and lemon pepper. The first time we had the wings they were pretty good. This past time they were just ok and I would be ok not ordering the wings again. I just think there are better wing options in town. The food always comes out super hot. The pizza is always good. I have no complaints about that. I’d recommend this place.
Best pizza in town by far!!! We been going to them for years. First downtown location and now their spot on St Mary’s. Either location has good food. Pizza is overall the best here!!! But next is the wings. They have a good crispy wings too. Nice crunch on the wings. We had the lemon pepper, buffalo and habanero. And of coarse the salad. Salad is salad but their large serving can feed a large family. For drinks you can get bottle or you can get soft drinks and they serve Maine Root!
Now this is some REAL pizza 🍕! Everything about this place is amazing; from the aesthetic to the food, everything is impeccably well done! Food: 10/10 This is probably some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve been to Chicago eating REAL Chicago style pizza before. The dough, sauce, and even toppings are super fresh and delectable in every way! Affordability: 8.5/10 Kind of pricey but it’s definitely worth every penny out here! Service: 10/10 The service was super damn good! The cashier girl at the front helped us and was super friendly and nice, she even gave us a scoop on the deals and was super patient with us as we ordered (I came in with a huge party). The guy who brought out our pizzas to us was also super cool, he cracked some jokes, preemptively brought us boxes and was pretty much another one of the homies. I love the service out here! Atmosphere: 10/10 Something about the aesthetic was just “classic” feeling, like I was at an old antique pizza diner! I love it, the decor and all! Very clean too!!! TLDR: A freaking antique, but amazing pizza place, it’s a must try for any pizza lovers who want some great food, with super chill workers!
Tried this place for the first time and I was highly impressed! Staff was very kind and although they were busy the pizza was made fresh and hot and it didn't even take a long time! We ordered 2 large pizza. The bbq chicken pizza is delicious and get the cinnamon rolls they are so ooey and gooey we really enjoyed them. I will definitely be returning.

Ditched the Fiesta Crowd for a great slice, and ended up with a BOGO deal. Which BTW, is every day...all the time!\n\nCan't decide? Get Two! \n\nFun atmosphere, Great music, and hand tossed pizza…
Great food great service and the ambience would definitely recommend especially with family

This is cafétéria style, you order and pay at the counter. Pizza is expensive because you're paying for two. Service is prompt. Parking at the Plaza is tight on the weekends.

We ordered delivery to our hotel in San Antonio. Pizza was good, but not great, like you must try it. We got 3 large pizzas, 1 medium and 24 wings for $120 including fees, but not tip. Great price for 10 people, with a lot of leftovers. Look for their coupons online, that helped bring the cost down, by about $35. Love a good bargain!
The salads are amazinggggggg. The pizza was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I do recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza and any salad. I have passed by many times but the parking lot is usually filled. This time I saw an empty space and just turned in immediately. I will be back to try more items and will edit this review if need be.

Food was great but had a bunch of roaches in the restroom last time I went! Hope they get that taken care of!
Merely alright sandwiches, you can do better. The bread and sauce is good, but I found the meatballs to be way too fatty and overseasoned. One of the sandwiches was supposed to have roast beef, however it turns out they didn't have any and just left it off. This is annoying, I would rather be told that they are out of an ingredient before ordering as we would've ordered something else. Service was meh, they didn't seem to really care. Booths are very uncomfortable. Prices on website are inaccurate, attached pictures have the pricing of when we visited. Can't recommend if you are looking for subs, as there are better places in the area.

Over 35 minutes to get a 6 inch combo sandwich and a slice of pizza. Terrible service! And noisy, not clean. I'll never go back, and you should really reconsider any thought of eating here!
I just want to say I don't think I could trust this place after what I saw from a worker... There was a worker in a maroon Ram truck receiving oral s*x in the parking lot while families are eating!…
Let me start by they had told my husband it was going to be a 15min wait the drive to is about 10-15 mins it’s self soooo we get there and they tell my husband it’s a 5min wait for the wings we wait and he comes to the car disappointed and tells me that they forgot to drop the wings smh 🤦♀️ the wait for everything was 45 mins! To think we would have got fresh wings uhhhhm no we didn’t im so mad at this place and so is he!! Wings look raw and not even tossed not to mention cold as hell
The food was better than the service from the staff. Im giving this place a 1 star because there was a dead fly in my blue cheese container and when I told the employee all she said was " ohhh " like whaaaat? At least say Im sorry for that or something, she didn't even offer me a new blue cheese container I was the one who had to ask for a replacement. And it is way too loud in there as well, couldn't even have a clear conversation with my companion
