Great huge patio and lots of outdoor space out back too. Enjoyed the karaoke on the front patio under the huge tree. Even in the heat it's a fun place to gather and inside is nice and cool for a little relief from the sun and weather.

Great drinks and a lot of fun. The staff is super nice and helpful to. They have good food here or food trucks stop in so you always have choices. Great place to watch a game or just hang out with friends. Caliente Harley-Davidson has their bike night here the first Thursday of every month from 6 - 9. They give away prizes and have techs there to answer questions.

Great bar to meet up with friends after work for a few cocktails and some great appetizers. Nice drink menu, and the food is better than any bar food I’ve tasted. The bartenders are quick and the service is fast and friendly. They have a huge deck out front, with another bar. In the back, they have a stage and tables for concerts and parties. Some fun party games like oversized Jenga. Overall it’s a great place - great food and drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere.

I go here most every Thursday with my team, and the food is amazing, It leaves you stuffed! the bartender takes really good care of us, and she's really nice. The pool table is pretty cool, and the live music is really popping. If you have a chance, come here to get a drink and hang out it's a nice little dive bar

The service here was so amazing. We came two consecutive days on our vacation since Lisanne,our bartender, was so kind. Her personality really shines. You can tell that she is confident and knowledgeable in her ability to make drinks quickly. Her smile is so radiant. She is beautiful and so very very kind. Hope more customers get experience the level of amazing service we got here. As a bartender, myself, I always strive to execute exceptional service in the way that she does and I found her to be relatable and the next time my friends and I come down this way for vacation we hope to see her again.

The best thing I can say about this place is, the name absolutely describes the atmosphere here. I've been 4-5 times in the 3 yrs I've lived here. Every time it has been exactly as one would expect. The only gripe I will offer is that it just doesn't seem friendly to newbies. Not unfriendly, just not welcoming like many other similar type places.

Great hang out place. The burger I got was incredible, and the bartenders were very responsive and quick to get our drinks. Plenty of tvs to watch, and the place wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear across the table. The live music was an unexpected bonus.

Went last Sunday. I can't remember the inside bartenders name but she was absolutely amazing. Quick service and the food was awesome!!! Keep stocking the Watermelon Cider!!! I'll be going back just for that alone. Soooo good!:)

Saw this place from the road and decided to check it out, really great bar, have a good selection of taps, and ordered some Irishcarbombs, the bartender was super awesome, made the drinks a fun and enjoyable experience, I was a little bummed kitchen was closed but they bought in a food truck to make up for it, food was good!

After striking out at two previous brunch locations (long wait, plumbing issues), it was our great good luck to end up at Tree House Burgers and Brews. Plenty of tables inside and out, a nice bar open to both sides, plenty of great draft beer choices with generous samples offered to be sure we’d like our selections, and the menu satisfied everyone! The breakfast taco was huge, and my son-in-law loved it. My aioli burger was delicious, and the Mutha Clucka chicken sandwich hit the spot for my daughter, along with generous portions of sweet potato fries. I asked for a side of aioli to dip the fries, and it just made them even better! The staff were friendly, offering suggestions and checking that we were satisfied. They needn’t have worried—we will be back regularly to enjoy another great dining experience!

I really enjoyed how quickly the food was served and the bartender were very friendly. Definitely a good spot to hang out at, enjoy drinks, music and food.

Fantastic hidden bar/grill. The patio is A+ with a large tree in the middle providing nice shade. Burger & tots were fantastic, ate it before I could snap a photo. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't to crowded. One bartender working but she got the job done and even gave us a free beer for the wait. Overall a great place to have a beer and burger outside on the Patio. 5 star customer service. Side note: They have homemade corn dogs, also great. 💯

We have been going there for over a year and have made three new friends because the ambiance is very relaxed. Yami is the best bartender and Edie is always walking around greeting people. We had just finished up a league at MainLand Sports Complex and came on a Tuesday evening and it was not busy, the bartender was nice and got all of our orders in quickly and the burgers 🍔 and wings looked delicious and they were.

OMG the fried chicken sandwich was the best thing I've eaten in a long time, it was a taste sensation. I used the country gravy for my fries and had them giving me a side of mayo for the sandwich. Whiskey Tree burger and Half Ton of Fun burger were enjoyed by hubby and our friend. Music is great and football on the TV. Nice night!!!

Food was pretty good. I had the tons O fun burger and holy heck that was indeed massive. I myself would've preferred a bit more seasoning on the burger but the meat itself was pretty good. My wife had the asada tacos and the kids had bad boy burgers. The very fact that my 7 year old (piiicky eater) even ate the burger, not to mention finished the thing should speak volumes. The back area was pretty cool and the kids enjoyed the play equipment they have set up. The interior contrasts quite a bit compared to the back and seems maybe slightly dive-y which I personally don't mind, though it was slightly off-putting bringing my kids into. Overall, I'd say the place is pretty dang decent for what it is and could see myself returning.

The burger I ordered was delicious once I got it. We had a slight miscommunication and they brought the wrong burger bit it was worth the wait.

This place is a great spot to grab some good drinks for cheap. The porch area is comfortable and the big tree in the middle makes you feel right at home. They have a nice selection of beer on tap that is a change of pace from the usual San Antonio imports and domestics, but not enough to qualify it as some hipster gastropub paradise. The crowd is mixed. Older people there to catch up, work buddies grabbing a drink, and friends just hanging out made up the crowd on a Friday night. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make a great Long Island tea. The only problem I have with this place is the music choice. The theme of the bar is backyard/country, but they were blasting rap while the live entertainment was playing their songs. I will definitely be going back!

Good service, especially on a Thursday night. Karaoke is awesome and they have a good setup for it. The drinks are strong, so don't go back to back with them unless you have a ride planned! Overall a good experience and will for sure be back. Add a little adventure to your night, make sure you try the "bear mace". It's a little tangy and a little zesty, but it goes great with beer!

I went for the Cowboys game on Sunday night. I got the burger and tots. The price for a 1/2 burger and lots of tots was only $9. I was concerned when I ordered because the menu didn't have any prices which I found odd but I was pleasantly surprised by that price. I definitely recommend them adding prices to the menu and can't give it a 5 without them. I don't want to ask about them so I ordered conservatively instead. The burger was good, maybe a little overcooked for my taste but the fries and tots were crispy and tasty. I also ordered a drink off the menu (again no prices) that was also really good.

Parking was plenty, the beer is cold and the atmosphere is what I personally enjoy. Not too busy, chill people. The outside patio is huge and the service is great!

First time having dinner here. Chicken tenders, whiskey burger,fries are pretty good. Great atmosphere, good service. Only one complaint. No prices on the menu. When I asked the bartender ( where you place your food order) why no prices on the menu? She said oh that's because the prices are always changing. They can't write them on a chalkboard. There isn't that many food options on the menu.

This place is pretty cool! I stopped by for a burger, and they had an open-mic going on (right up my alley). The burger was great! They don't skimp on the meat, and the serving of tots was unbelievable! There is plenty of room inside, and there is also a bar outside, which is really nice as well. The staff was friendly, but they were busy, and it took us about 15 minutes to get recognized. The open mic talent was great too! I didn't bring my own guitar, but the host gladly let me borrow his, and I was grateful for it. Surprisingly, there was some pretty good local talent in there! 🎙🎶 I'll be back for sure!

This is a bar. Nothing special about it. However, the happy hour is actually really good and offers some pretty good deals. The house cocktails are creative but taste very watered down. Either the alcohol is withheld or the mixing is off - neither is a good thing. This venue does fill a gap of bars along Bandera so it is convenient in that regard, but you can do much better by driving a little bit more out of your way.

First off, I would have probably went to almost 4 stars if it wouldn’t have taken an hour to get our food only to come home and 2 of the 3 orders were wrong. I received a chicken sandwich other than the hamburger I requested. The chicken sandwich was good, other than being overly greasy. Again, not what I ordered. Our girls received wings, just not the flavor they ordered. My husbands sandwich was the only correct thing. He enjoyed it and said he would try it again. However, looking at it, the bottom bun had soaked up so much grease that it looked soggy to me. Also, before going in person we attempted to call several times and the phone just rang and rang.

Tree House (formerly known as Whiskey Tree) is a good bar for if you want a more chill environment- which is exactly why I enjoy it. It's atmosphere isn't rowdy, and as long as there isn't a DJ playing in the front patio, you can hear one another talk just fine, which a lot of bars struggle with. It's annoying to me when you go to a bar to talk with friends and they have the music blaring so loudly that you can't even hear each other speak. If it were a live show, that'd be fine, but just music on a speaker? Hardpass! Tree House has a secondary patio that's in the back of the bar that's HUGE. It has fake grass, tons of chairs, many tables, both picnic benches and smaller metal tables. This area is personally my favorite by a long shot. And it is basically the prime reason I go there with friends. The downside of this area, however, is that they close it off at 11pm! We were told it was because they were finding paraphernalia back there, so they closed it early. I completely understand them not wanting paraphernalia of any sort on their property, but closing off that entire area due to it just seems a complete waste. It's to a degree that whenever it hits 11, we just go somewhere else. So basically, we have one drink there, maybe two, and leave to spend time at another bar. And we're feeling pretty done with doing that to where we likely will soon just stop going there all together. We're a big group, so it's a shame, as we spend a lot when we're at bars. Seems quite a bit of business, not just from us, but many other large groups, getting thrown away. Someone was having what looked like a birthday party, and at 11pm, they even had them leave the back area. Keep in mind that part of the joy of this back area is that it isn't remotely as noisy. I love all types of music, but sometimes you don't want to hear a DJ play reggaeton after reggaeton on large speakers and not be capable of hearing yourself. It's not as if it's on a dance floor. There is no dance floor. They're playing it on the front patio where it's nothing but tons of benches. Another thing I found disappointing is when asking for a margarita. My friends and I have been perplexed by this lol. I ask for a margarita, I get it in a regular pint glass. One of my friends asks and gets it in one of those large margarita glasses. Neither of us is asked what size we want at all. Or I'll ask for my margarita frozen and then get it not frozen. It's not crazy busy with long lines at the bar anytime I've been there, so I'm unsure why the issues exist. Now, at least, I know to ask for a large margarita, but even when friends don't, they basically play a roll of the dice on which cup size they're getting. It's so strange. They do karaoke nights on the front patio which is nice, but they don't seem to prioritize new people over those that have gone up numerous times, so either sign up early or else don't expect to be singing that night. I tried and the KJ told me my wait time would be near 2am (it was 12am currently). Parking-wise is okay. There's good space, but still gets taken up pretty quickly. So keep that in mind if you plan to head out around 9:30 onward. All in all, I DO think the vibe is good, the amount of seating is good, the look of the place is a comfort feel, and the drinks aren't crazy-priced. Which might be all you need, I'd call that a green light for many! But if you prefer karaoke that lets you sing versus the same people on repeat, less loudness while you have drinks with your friends and prefer the more secluded style (like the back patio), I suggest looking elsewhere unless you leave at 11pm. Oh! One last note: Wheelchair accessibility is NOT there. There wouldn't be much room going inside the bar, you go up stairs to get to the front patio of the bar (the actual entrance) and you go down stairs to get to the back patio. While I don't use a wheelchair, I had to for quite a while due to an injury, and after that, I try to keep an eye for such things for others and can acknowledge space needed for such.

Kitchen "opens" at 5:00, but that really means 5:30 because the cook gets there at 5. Ordered a specialty Burger, only got one of the three toppings that were supposed to come with it, very disappointed. Good portions though. Bartender was nice, if a little chatty for my taste. No prices anywhere, food or drinks, so you don't know what you're paying, then they give you an un-itemized ticket when you close the tab. Probably will not go back.

I love the place and love the atmosphere I usually only come when friends invite me. Because prices are hella crazy for 45 mins my bill was $78 for 6 michelobs and a two shots. I usually order the same amount at other bars and my bill will be lesser than it was last night. But great atmosphere and great bartenders.

The drinks and food are good. The drink menu is fun. The food menu is hard to follow but I’ve liked what I received. The service is mediocre. I’ve eaten here twice and the waitstaff disappeared for long periods both times. This results in really long delays in ordering drinks and food and then having both delivered. Yesterday we didn’t get our appetizers before our dinner arrived. They brought it out after we’d finished our dinner. Then a person tried to deliver two steaks to us another table had ordered after we finished the desert. Most disappointing, the hosts and seaters really make you feel unwelcome, like it’s an effort to seat you or find you a place to wait. Both times I actually stayed, I’ve almost left because they were so put out by the fact I was there for my reservation. Yesterday I went to another restaurant for drinks because we were about 20 minutes early and they didn’t know what to do with us. I left once about two weeks ago because the person who greeted me quoted me an hour wait when I had a reservation for the time I showed up at.

Bar, not for kids at all. The outdoor space is nice, indoors is smoky but fine, outback there's a large playset but this place is absolutely not for kids. I would not bring children here especially past 5pm. Lots of loud cussing, shouting patrons, music with bad language, etc. This is all fine for a bar but there's no reason to even have the play place, it's not a kids or even family friendly establishment whatsoever. Food was fine, not an even temp but the burger was tasty. The chicken nuggets were actually great but we ordered strips. Fries/tots/onion rings were all generic frozen type you can get anywhere. Parking lot got pretty jammed up even at 6:30 on a Thursday, bad entry/exit area. Just be prepared to wait to get out of the lot. Also, out of toilet paper and just had napkins sitting there.

Good place to chill and have a drink. Friday Karaoke night was fun. Buzz boys kept showing up on the table picking up empty glasses without asking if they could take anything, and interrupting conversation in the process.

Atmosphere was nice. They were out of a few main drink components, so I wasn’t able to order what I usually get or even what I would venture to get. Servers were nice and friendly. Menus did not have prices.

Not sure where all the staff is but service was good and surprisingly fast for there only being one bartender tending to the entire place. Despite her being super busy, Georgie the bartender was super nice and got everything in my order to me outside really fast. Fried pickles were super salty and drenched in oil. Overall the experience was ok because it is a pet friendly spot and the patio was quite lovely on this beautiful day. My pitbull agrees.

Had seen this places passing by several times in the evenings looked nice well lit, seem pretty full. Decided to stop in with a friend from out of town, wanted a beer and sit on the patio in the afternoon after 3pm, it was pretty emptying in and out. Waited about 15 mins. outside first to order found out no bartender outside went inside waited another 10 mins as shift change I guess counting down a draw, then finally get our order taken, was given the wrong beers after pointing them out, just tipped again and left.

The back area for the kids to play was closed. Staff seemed confused as to who was taking orders. And the food was good, but nothing to brag about. No high chairs for kids either, which takes away from the family aspect, because then instead of sipping on your beer, you are trying to keep your toddler from running away. This place has potential! Would love to go back and see some changes.

The atmosphere and outdoor seating is really refreshing and enjoyable and comfortable. Parking was a bit of a bear and once we did park, one of the staff fairly rudely came out and told us that we couldn't park in that stall. Once we sat, we didn't receive any attention from any of the wait staff for about 10 minutes. We ordered house salads with chicken from the bartender and I'm assuming she was having bad day as it was a pretty unpleasant experience. Once the salads arrived, there is a half a ramekin of dressing which wasn't enough to cover either salad. We were told that we would have to place an order for additional dressing which we did at the bar. 10 minutes later, still no dressing. Overall, we love the atmosphere and the setting, but the wait staff and the food were very subpar and the food was overpriced for what we got.

Overall it’s a great neighborhood bar with good prices and good drinks/food. My only complaint is the bathrooms. The men’s always smells like old piss and just needs a deep cleaning. That’s the only thing preventing me from giving them five stars.

I was a little confused when arriving here. I had to confirm the address on my gps. It took me to a place called " The Tree House". When I entered I liked what I saw. Very much like an indoor sports bar with out side seating . I saw some pictures of food online that I wanted to try . Unfortunately they didn't have that stuff. Example carne asada fries was actually carne guisada fries. The asada fries had toppings since as cheese and sour cream. The guisada fries had nothing on top. They were good but could of been a lot better with a little bit of effort. Order street tacos and got mini tacos with very little meat. They have a large selection of draft beer which I like and enjoyed a cold one. A lot of tvs and music playing .it has a large outdoor play area so you can unleash the kids while you have some "me time". It looks pretty secured and only one way in and one way out. I might come back and try some other menu items or just to drink.

It's a nice place but the bartenders are skimming off the top i always give tips but they seem to just pocket the change before they even receive a tip. The blonde one is kinda snoty to customers. You could tell the The person in front of me felt uncomfortable with her attitude. If it was me she would have gotten a talking to glad she ran off. I would have made a scene.

First time here. Cute place. Lots of outdoor seating. Family and I went during the day and they had a private event out in the patio area. Bar inside and outside as well as indoor seating. Did see a pool table over in the back. Food was flavorful. Portions were decent, beef was cooked to our likings and chicken was juicy.

It was good wings not so good but drinks were awesome, tots really good too. Will come back but for the drinks.

We have gone here about 4 X because we live right around the corner and every time we wait incredibly long for our food and they usually forget to bring us something we asked for. The burgers are ok and the wings are NOT good. The only redeeming quality is their good selection of beer.

Short staff, bartenders noticed us but had no consideration and personality to acknowledge us. While waiting for about 7 min right in front of the bartender serving area. I understand how the bar life works when busy. Just please always greet your customer, even when busy. Other than the crappy bartenders, the facility and atmosphere was great. We decided to leave, maybe next time we won't have the same bartenders.

The place is nice. Great live band (Changes), great atmosphere, but lacks customer service and..... beer. Waited 10minutes at the bar inside for beer as there were many taps on display only to be told nothing inside was available. So we went outside where the selection was even less than that inside. Furthermore the bartender was very short and border line rude when answering questions about the beer selection. If the bar was busy I would have been understanding but we were the only ones. The service was the same inside later in the night as well, with the bartenders seeming annoyed at the presence of customers. To top it off the bar back(?) Security guy(?) got on some customers about not walking to the back patio through a gate that had been open the whole night. He had walked by multiple times and address it near midnight, serious lack of attention to detail. This place has potential but my first experience was not good. Hope to revisit and see some changes.

THERE IS NO PLAYGROUND There is a turf but it doesn’t feel very welcoming for kids I wouldn’t say it’s family friendly 🤷🏾‍♀️ the food is mediocre there was a hair in my burger patty when I took it to the staff they pulled it out and knew exactly who it belonged to 🤮 which makes me think it happens often. They did refund me which thank gawd they did cause the 3 sliders and fries was $16 but we didn’t know cause there menu doesn’t have any prices. The staff was nice and friendly but probably won’t be coming back just not a place for us 🤷🏾‍♀️ Overpriced in my opinion

Staff completely ignored my husband and me. We stood at the bar for several minutes and neither of the people behind the bar even looked at us. No eye contact, no "hi, I'll be right with you" from either bartender. Not even just a "hi". Nothing. So we left and went to a bar that greeted us when we walked in the door; then we proceeded to spend over $100 plus a 45% tip. I'll change my review if y'all give me a reason to. In the meantime I'll be going elsewhere to spend my money.

We liked the setup and the way things looked inside but that was it. When we got in, we were ignored by the bartender and greeted with jeers and insults by the people at the bar. OK, I get it; this is your sacred watering hole and you don't like outsiders. After five minutes of being ignored, I went up to the bartender. She paid attention to a few people that came in after us and then finally acknowledged me with a "You want something?" I asked for a menu and that we wanted to place an order. She quickly explained that they only serve street tacos and that wouldn't happen for another hour. An odd statement since the website has a menu but such is life. We took the hint and left with the patrons cheering our departure. End result was we went a few miles down the street to a BBQ place that was interested in feeding us. As I said up above, don't waste your time unless you are there with someone who is a regular.

It's really boring .. the bartender just busy with his mobile .. I ordered food then he just throw a dirty knife .. I told him it's dirty but it's like he has not time ... Anyway, I don't recommend this bar 👎 ** Lately I noted many bartenders looks frustrated & they make you feel bored ... I understand their stress bit that's also not the cousomers problem.

This place wont be in business much longer, considering how incompetent and rude their staff is and how uncomfortable the inside seating/atmosphere is.

No rating due to when visited only one bartender and she didn't have ingredients to make our drinks, only certain beers and food ordering was going to take awhile. We walked out.

Cockroach ran across the table we were sitting at while we were waiting an hour and a half for our food. Disgusting place.

Great music, but service is horrible. Bartenders appeared to be having an argument because one was new or first night. Bartenders not working as a team. Waited 15 minutes to order a drink, kept getting passed over to find out all the taps inside were not working. We were directed out side to order. We asked the outdoor bartender what they had to drink and were told what you see is what we have. Apologies if we asked but the inside bar didn’t have taps so we don’t want to assume the outside ones are working.She was very short and no customer service.

My burger was so dry and hard. Not happy with the burgers my husband I received. Plus there was only 1 staff member in the entire place. There's no prices on the menu that makes it difficult to determine. Bartender had to look up prices before we ordered. Which was a waste of time. Patio was nice but that's it. They need more staff and a better cook.

Dude serving tonight completely blew us off? Took multiple orders that came after. While still making eye contact without saying or doing anything? Weird

Just stood at the bar for over 5 minutes without seeing a bartender. The only person behind the bar, briefly, was a guy who was giving someone their food order. He didn't see fit to tell me when a bartender would show up. In the meantime, over half a dozen people started lining up around the bar. When she finally arrived and went to help the people that just walked in, I left.

Kj there has bad equipment. Tried to sing a song. And got applause. But he Got upset when I mentioned it. He followed me out. And was mentally unstable to come out to the parking lot to confront me. Good thing he was just talking. We Texans carry - it could’ve ended badly for him - he was drinking and not professional. Never should have come from behind me and start complaining about what I mentioned on parking lot as I was leaving. . Could have ended badly. Do not come here. He is a liability

Good service but was burned. my tater tots hard and crunchy. my burger was very textured with unsavoury charred flavor. My boyfriends burger was the same as well as his onion rings

. The setup is a mess. We have to stand in line to have our order filled by the 1 bartender that seems to be the only one working so the wait is long. Got our drinks and the cups were so dirty it had stuff stuck to it. Got new cups only to find the soda is basically water with a hint of coke. Absolutely no carbonation and when we asked for sprite instead the bartender said it came out the same machine so if the coke was flat the sprite was going to be flat.... oh and those are the only drinks available besides alcohol so we had no drinks. Sat at our table and man it was so sticky. I ended up becoming so grossed out I told my fiance we should take our food to go, so he let them know to pack it up. Fast forward We get home the fries were good, the Pickles so awful And when I bit into my burger I noticed some gray marks under the fried egg. I opened it only to find the egg was covered in gray spots that were slimy. I threw it away and I pray I don't get sick. I won't be eating here again I am so disgusted. Oh and I pulled 2 hairs off the burger bun as well you can see one stuck on the to-go plate. Please never drink from the cups🤢

My wife and I decided to eat at The Treehouse after our boys soccer game, they play at Mainland Sports Complex right behind The Treehouse. We never found out if the food was any good. We went in, seated ourselves and waited….and waited. There was one couple at the bar and a family outside, and no other customers. We were never even spoken to, the bartender was the only employee we saw and she had zero interest in speaking to us, which is unfortunate for her because we tip very well. We will never try this place again. I guess there’s a reason they were empty at 1:30 on a Saturday.

By the reviews and the pictures thought it would more...just over all more. We went there since we wanted to bring our dogs for lunch and it was under the "dogs allowed" list. However for a Saturday at 13:30 it didn't have a full menu and the only "server" was the bartender, so figured might as well have a drink. However she couldn't make the drinks and kept having to look at the menu for the ingredients and kept saying they didn't have the right stuff and the menus where outdated. So the drinks where horrible, didn't taste of alcohol, tasted like the the ingredients went bad and just had Seltzer water instead of juice. So after being disappointed with drinks didn't even bother getting food. Over all just a complete let down.

Bartender was always sweet and pleasant. But dont come here for the food. Or the decor unless youre over 40. I got their star burger with a "fried Mac n cheese layer" the layer took up only a quarter of the burger and resembled more of a matza ball without cheese and it was dark almost burnt. The burger was burnt on the outside though only well done inside. The best part of the meal was the McDonald's fries that they threw red seasoning on and the bread of the burger bc it was slightly sweet. Im being kind to say the wings were fine but too greasy though they were big
