Cool Little bar/hangout/kitchen etc. It's way out there on highway #247 between Barstow and Lucerne Valley. If you are traveling through the area, I highly recommend you stop here and get a burger and fries. Being my first time here, that's what I decided to go with, and I don't regret it at all. Nevertheless, they have other menu options which I'll be checking out next time I come through here. The place gets jam packed with weekend warriors, and it's kinda cool. The interior as you will see in my pics, is super cool. But they also have a huge outdoor eating area where most visitors prefer to go. Needless to say, I really like this place and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through, or Even those who want to venture out and go visit a cool place in the middle of nowhere. Lol

I recently visited a restaurant/bar in Barstow, CA and I must say, it was one of the coolest places I've been to. The atmosphere was fantastic, the employees were friendly and the food was amazing. It's definitely worth a stop, especially if you're out on the trails. What's even better is that you can trail to and from the place, so no need to deal with streets and pesky concrete roads. Overall, a wonderful spot for lunch or a casual hangout. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

What a great find for our road trip from northern California to southern California. They have a lovely big shaded patio where our dogs could hang with us and made the 93F day feel pretty comfy. Kids enjoyed running around the yard since no one else was around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was overall pretty good quality with the fried zucchini having a perfect ratio of flavorful batter to zucchini pieces. Burgers were good and kids gobbled up the corn dog. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Restaurant and Bar out in the middle of nowhere! Slash X was on the Google Maps and we were curious about the high reviews. Imagine our surprise to find a really good hamburger (and other great food choices) in the middle of the high desert. This is evidently a place that off road racers frequent and the owner told us that midweek is very slow so no fresh lemonade is made on those days. Only canned sodas and water were offered for the non alcoholic drinks. The beer choices looked great, but alas, we were going to drive off and didn't have time for a beer. Other than that, everything was freshly made. The burgers were done exactly as we wished, the chicken sandwich was juicy and not dried out. The onion rings were Awesome! One of our party loved the fries but the other one thought they were too soft. The building has tons of character and loads of off road racing gear along side the cowboy working theme. Very much recommend this place!

This place is great . In the middle of nowhere , you can drive your car and ride your dirt bike or Razor to the front door . Good food too

This is a great destinations for burgers and beer off Highway 247 between Barstow and Lucerne Valley. It’s accessible by off-road vehicle trails popular on weekends. The service can be a little slow, but the food is good. The clientele are self-sufficient folks who love the desert I know how to get around.

Great staff, food and lots of history in this building. The food is always great and the atmosphere is even better. I love to stop in for a cold beer and food, especially when they have a live band playing. Family friendly, a tad expensive but for a place like this, its always worth paying an extra buck to support a location that supports and lives in the Off Road culture.

Great place, food just wasn't as good as I thought it would be for a place like this. Great people, great atmosphere, cool history but the burgers could have been better. Cajun fries weren't tossed just thrown on top and ranch was not my favorite. Only had 2 beers on tap, no tequila.

Tried the breakfast burrito. Not the best. Not well seasoned and had a taste of too much oil. Didn't taste fresh. But the ranch, scenery is beautiful. Todd, the bartender was very nice . Good service.

This was our pickled fries and onion rings. No moisture to the pickled fries it was pickle skin and burn breading. The same with the onion rings. My son had a double meat burger which he said was really good and the fries. I work and live in Barstow area. This was our first time eating there. Service was good. Everyone was nice. The atmosphere was pretty cool. We ate at 4pm. After the rush. We were there for a fall event.
