Legit Korean restaurant without the bbq smoke on your clothes and hair! We had the galbi (short rib) and it was huge, tender and delish! The japchae was such a huge portion and on point! I ordered two bowl of jasmine rice. Actually when we put in our order, all of our dishes came out within 40 minutes. It was a Saturday night and luckily we came in at 5pm, because at 6ish the crowds started coming in. For 3 adults and a toddler, my bill came to $106 plus $34 tip. The nice owner comped our rice and potstickers! Great dinner experience!
The food in this place reminds me of LA Koreatown. Nothing flashy but the food that we had was delicious. Seafood Pancake - 5/5 it had a lot of Seafood and was also crispy the way I like it. Bone in short rib soup - 5/5 I couldn't believe how much beef ribs that was included in the order. Very tender and the broth was very flavorful. Beef Bulgogi - 4/5 lots of tender meat and seasoned perfectly. Grilled salted mackerel - 5/5 a big portion. I will definitely be back to try other items.
Wanted to try a new Korean restaurant. This was definitely a hidden jem. We got here around 6:30pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025. There was no waiting and seated us right away. The restaurant seating is spacious with plenty of chair space and legroom. They cook everything for you. It was cooked to perfection. The Kalbi was tender with the perfect seasoning. Their Bonchon is some of the best we have ever tasted. Especially, their Kimchi. We have tried many different brands of Kimchi from Korean supermarkets. This has become our favorite Korean restaurant now.
High-quality, clean tastes well-worth the price. Though somewhat of a limited menu, the chef-owner ensures dishes leave the kitchen to a high standard. Kalbi Short Ribs (갈비) have an excellent marinade, the beef tastes almost buttery. Spicy Silken Tofu Stew (순두부찌개) is good, made to your preferred level of spice. Wide selection of house made banchan.
Came here on a Wednesday for dinner and was craving some good Korean food! Good: - Fast service - our army stews came out in less than 10 min - Really cozy homey vibes here, wooden aesthetic - The army stew was SO GOOD - the portion sizes were amazing and also the dish itself was the best I've had - so many different ingredients. I especially liked the ramen, the fish cakes, and the spam. - The banchan that came with the entree were great too - had some brocolli and potato salad. Bad: - Pretty simple self service water place Overall this place was such a surprise and a gem!
Had the Korean Army Stew, was big one for one person. Food was delicious and high quality. Service was quick and attentive. They also have Korean drinks. Single large hall for seating, can become loud when lot of tables are full.
We stopped by here while in the area when we we were craving some Korean food, and it did not disappoint! We ordered their stone pot bibimbap and kimchi fried rice -- both were delicious. They have the classic Korean dishes: fried chicken, seafood pancake, army stew, etc. Seems like there's a good amount of street parking around. Overall, would recommend.
Amazing side dishes and kimchi! Very authentic, home cooking style welcoming atmosphere. The portions are huge, they have nice packaging for side dishes. I like their table setting, very spacious and have separate sections for groups. Good selection of flavored soju is definitely a plus points!
I get the same thing here every time lol galbi and tteok-bokki with cheese and ramen. I love coming here. It was surprisingly busier than I’m used to on a Thursday night!

Fantastic Korean food! Some standouts are their seafood pajeon which was perfectly crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside and their spicy squid was flavorful without burning the tongue. Their mackerel, galbi, and japchae are all very good too. Definitely one of the better Korean restaurants we've been to in the peninsula bay. Will definitely be back!
First time at Minari, meeting a colleague for dinner on a work trip. Service was attentive and fast. We both ordered the spicy pork bibimbap, it was delicious. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area and cracking Korean.
I was treated to Japchae for my birthday. And everything was delicious . service on point and clean and spacious all around. this was my second visit. really love this place! 😋 mmmmyummers!

We came for a late lunch and it was relatively empty, so we had our choice of tables. The service was excellent, prompt and attentive. Our banchan of 6 dishes came out quickly--we got the usual bean sprouts, kimchi, broccoli and potato salad—refills are available upon request. We ordered the beef stone bibimbap and the tteokguk soup (rice cake soup). The portions were huge. The bibimbap was sizzling as it was being served, as it should. The meat to vegetable ratio was generous and my tteokguk was also plentiful with rice cakes and broth. The broth was really tasty and I nearly drank the whole bowl. The soypaste stew was also delicious and the seafood pancake was had plenty of seafood in it and very tasty. Everything was really delicious and I would return for another meal. It's a nice hidden gem in San Bruno worth checking out. It may seem a little pricey for the area, but for the size of the servings, it was worth it. The biggest downside is parking--it can be challenging.
Cute Korean place in downtown San Bruno. They have friendly service but food is on the pricy side. They also have fewer side dishes than some other places but all the side dishes were quite yummy. We got the army stew, corn cheese, kimchi fried rice and seafood pancake. Army stew was really small for $25 which I felt was overpriced. Seafood pancake was done really well, definitely recommend. Corn cheese is super rich and delicious but very heavy. Their stone bowl bibimbap looked quite good and we will definitely try that next time
The restaurant has good food but it is a little overpriced. We ordered the beef bibimbap and seafood tofu soup. Both were really good but the seafood tofu soup came in a small bowl when I thought it would be bigger to share. The waiters and atmosphere were great.
This place is very good, the atmosphere and design of the restaurant and very soothing. THERE IS A JENNIE KIM CUT OUT AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE. They have fewer options on the menu, but it shows how their few products shine brighter then others. The presentation and taste of the foods were very satisfying but a bit salty. There kimchi is very fresh and crunchy.
First time visit and happy we tried it out. We went to San Mateo avenue because there are lots of wonderful choices. The first few places we wanted to try were closed and we ended up at Minari. The dining area is nicely open and tables spaced out so you are not back to back with other diners. We were promptly greeted and after putting in our orders, banchans followed soon afterwards. It was a nice variety. Two items not normally served at other places included (very mildly) spicy bean sprouts and marinated seaweed. It was as delicious as all the other banchans. Our mackerel was nicely done, crisp on the outside and moist inside. The mackerel was a decent size. The bibimbap was a generous portion with delicious vegis and perfectly cooked rice. The seafood in the seafood tofu stew was good too. Everything was very delicious and service was very prompt. Water is self serve. Minus one less star for the plastic container for the bibimbap sauce. Personal bias against use disposable plastic ware for dine-in. Would definitely come again.
The Korean food at Minari is not bad. We had the 6 piece fried wings $18, seafood tofu soup $22, beef stone bibimbap $26 and saba $24. For the fried chicken wings, it came with fries but no ketchup. Some garlic aioli sauce would have been nice. The seafood tofu soup and saba was uneventfully decent. As for the stoneware beef bibimbap, I was looking forward to the crispy rice at the bottom. That was disappointing. The rice was under cooked and did not produce the bottom of the bowl crispy rice. Service was excellent.
It’s great to have this Korean option in San Bruno. Water is self service with tiny cups. There were only 6 bonchon dishes. Some restaurants have 10. Food was otherwise pretty good including Spicy Squid. Service was perfunctory. For the pancake, they don’t cut it for you, but leave you a butter knife.
Good Korean food in San Bruno. Big space that accommodates bigger parties as well. I will be back.
The food tastes great, with generous portions for each dish. The restaurant has a spacious and pleasant environment.

The service here was horrible. They auto charge an 18% service charge and then figure they can ignore you and provide bad service. Ate dinner here with family and ordered a bunch of stuffs the server assured us the soup can be made not spicy for the kids and when it came out of course it was spicy. They forced us to keep it and the kids ended up not eating it. The other food was worse, the fried chicken had no flavor, the japchae was too sweet and the beef was tough. Tried to get the check and was ignored multiple times and then after at least 20 minutes I finally stood at the register and waited for a server. The server that came out then totally ignored me as I waved and said excuse me and just walked by not even making eye contact. I was about to walk out if they didn’t acknowledge me as they walked back but luckily they did. After all this bad service they still had the audacity to keep the 18% gratuity. Spent over $200 for overpriced food and bad service. Never coming back to this place.
