One of the best banh cuon in San Diego! The menu options are straight forward just banh cuon, the topping options and 2-3 different kinds of soup limited time only, until they run out or if they even make it for that day. The place is not fancy, so just eat and go or take to go. They have party trays too, just call in advance.

My favorite banh cuon place. Love the meat that come with it. Always go for the Dac biet banh cuon. The bun rieu is ok, but I’ve had better else where in San Diego. I also would recommend the fried pork roll to take home. They sell those in the front. Taste great in bread when sliced, like a Vietnamese banh mi.

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The menu, while relatively simple, provided several delicious options which were all as well presented as they were delicious. Yes, both delicious and well presented. What else can one really ask for? They accept credit cards (a modest fee for under $10), they have A/C, bathrooms were reasonable, and the staff were friendly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to all.

They are to go only right now! You can place orders in advance and pick up party trays. Good portion and food. I like their coffee as well because they ask if you want to make it less sweet and they do it perfectly!

I have eaten at this place so many times because it’s that good. The prices have gone up a little but you get such a good value for the money. The banh coun is authentic and the portions are huge. I moved out of San Diego last year and crave this place still. Make sure to get the combo with all meats

We ordered a party tray of half and half. Half bánh cuốn which is stuffed with meat and the plain, bánh ướt. The tray came with two rows of sliced meat loaf on top and one row of fried meat loaf. Also came with an entire take out box of filled with veggies and a soup container of fish sauce. The fried meat loaf was so good. I wish it came with more. The steamed rolls had lots of meat and the plain was nice and thin not so thick. All the flavors meshed together when you add the veggies and sauce. The tray cost $35 and fed four of us. We also got the meat loaf roll on the side for extra meat and that cost a whopping $7 which is a lot compared to other places. I would recommend ordering the tray if you have more than two people. You get the best bang for your buck. Parking here is super tight. I always fear that I’ll get a hit and run and would park really far just to get some space.

Banh cuon was great! But wish they had more variety but as a specialty spot it was solid! I’ve had the ingredients inside be even more flavorful before but this was solid! I’d give it a 4.5 if possible! Happy with prices and 1 lb for $7 was a great deal!!

Pretty good tasting food, decent menu. Service was okay. Some of the pictures on here show pho, they no longer serve pho.

I was literally standing right outside the door in direct line of sight of the dude who took my order. He couldn't pay enough attention to notice my food was ready to wave me in? Granted, he was digging through his Cup of Noodles, but I'm a paying customer who wants my food so I can get on my 6 hours drive. Food was yummy, service was lacking.

We ordered 5lbs of banh cuon to go. When we got it home, 12 of us made up our plates to eat it. Someone was brave enough to say it smelled bad and tasted bad. Some of the kids said they thought it was bad but thought it was supposed to be like that. So disappointed. We all threw our plates away. My mom called them to let them know. The owner said to bring it back and she will refund. My mom told her that we threw it away and still have some that wasn’t touched. Anyway my sister brought back what was left and the owner weighed it and refunded just for the portion that was brought back. When my sister told her my mom told her that we threw away what we made up, she said we were supposed to bring back all the stuff that was bad. Maybe it’s miscommunication but that’s so ridiculous. You can tell it was bad by just smelling the stuff that was brought back. Not to mention the ones we made up had fish sauce on it- like we are going to repackage up all of that. Hopefully we don’t get sick from it. Not good customer service to nickle and dime us over obviously spoiled food.
