We're not from the area and friendly passersby told us about this place. The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious and the BLT sandwich was amazing. We also went for an Iced Chai latte and was very refreshing. If we ever pass around this area, we're definitely coming back. Also service was amazing and nice.

Fantastic food, just excellent! Great for people watching too. Weather was perfect so we sat outside, enjoyed the breakfast, conversation and the passersby. Pancakes were amazing. Would absolutely come back again.

Food was nice. It's self-service. Talked to some really neat people while we were eating and got some recommendations on what to do. The food was good.

Stopped in for breakfast at Corner Bakery Cafe. The garden scramble was nice and to add extra flavour I asked for some chicken sausage, to go with the mushrooms, peppers, spinach, and eggs. The multigrain toast was nicely toasted. I also swapped my roast potatoes for fresh fruit instead. Coffee was hot and smooth, exactly what I needed to start the morning. The cafe itself had a cozy, relaxed vibe with plenty of seating and natural light. Service was quick. Overall, a decent breakfast spot in San Diego if you’re looking for something quick and healthy. There are also brunch and dinner options too.

Got a avocado, egg, and toast bowl, and it was just ok. Felt like the serving was not that much. Tastes bland, but you have condiments to fix it to your taste. Staff was nice, but there's not a lot of them to clear the tables.

I enjoyed their breakfast and pastries. Nicely located in Downtown Gaslamp district. The only unfortunate part of my experience was the slow service to place your order. They seemed to be well staffed, just not very coordinated on the register/ order placement point. Other than that , everything seemed pretty delicious…

Nice place to have breakfast at. Food was fresh, we got a bblt and an Anaheim panini. The bblt was very good, bs on was crispy and the Anaheim was more of a traditional breakfast sandwich but was also tasty. Cinnamon roll was good, get it eaten up and the potatoes were seasoned well.

Corner Bakery Cafe is a great place for breakfast, with many healthy and tasty dishes to choose from. The place is spacy, easy to find a place. Also a good place to go by your own. The people working there are nice. But I found the music to be too loud. When you are a music lover, that can be annoying.

I had a pancake with berries (strawberry and blueberry) and cream. You can choose dabble or 4. There are variety for coffee. Europa, Italian...etc. Totally I enjoyed. I went there on Sunday morning. There were many customers. There are many tables but little bit close to next and tables for 2 persons are too small to put 2 trays. The restroom's door is heavy. (The Side Pancake with Half Berries and coffee S size $11.61)

Food was nice. Girl who served us got the order wrong and was really rude about it. Rolled her eyes and tutted at me as we paid for extra food and never got it and also never poured the drinks out and when we enquired about those grabbed her head like we were a real inconvenience!( She had brown hair and glasses- didn’t see her name) shouldn’t be working in a place if can’t control her moods. Plenty of friendlier places around.

The 2 employees (2 young ladies) were very friendly. Unfortunately, the fudge brownie that I ordered (the only thing I ordered) just tastes like sugar and it barely tastes like chocolate, and it had too much powdered sugar on top... I thought a restaurant with the word "bakery" in its name would have a much better fudge brownie. The food seemed more appetizing that their baked goods, but I did not have any.

I was waiting for my order for more than 25 minutes, a very messy time . and I saw that the food they have ready was put to the trash can and even so they gave it to the very disgusting customer, I never come here again.
