My husband and I stumbled upon Eggholic while looking for a breakfast spot on a quiet weekend - and we are glad we did! The menu is creative and fun, packed with egg dishes that are anything but ordinary. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and vibrant - and the service is quick - perfect for both casual meal or a quick bite to go. You can really feel the passion and love that goes into the food here. We’ll definitely be coming here for more.
My wife and I are always looking for authentic Indian restaurants and we found a jackpot! The interior is beautiful and it's in a solid location. The service was excellent and the owners themselves are greeting customers and welcoming them. Here is what we ordered. Desi Chai: can't go wrong here - it's tasty and the spices are fresh. Dahi Puri: perfectly crispy/round puris and the filling with yogurt was superb. Chaat Samosa: very well balanced and all of the flavors came together really well. Paneer Toofani: this was the highlight - the paneer texture was perfect but the sauce was even better. Truly a fantastic dish all around! Egg Kheemo: this was my wife’s favorite as it was really creamy but an elevated egg dish. Overall, we were pleased with the food/service as we would absolutely recommend this to anyone and are for sure coming back.
You have to come here! ❤️❤️ Eggholic reminded me of a typical Indian Cafe and I loved it!!!! 😍 We had house special sandwiches - egg masala, amdavadi, paneer Szechuan for $7 each (only for the month of June) - SOOOOO GOOD, especially the egg masala one. Chai was hitting like crazy! 🤩 And dahi puri was just a cherry on the cake.🤤 I’m so glad I found a great Indian cafe place in San Diego & I’m definitely coming back again with friends.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent staff were incredibly polite, attentive and welcoming.? The made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. The ambience was calm , clean and beautiful. I tried raja da chicken kabab, hum tum, egg paplet and dahi puri as per the recommendation of staff. Definitely come back again
Amazing experience! Kiran at the counter was super nice and so helpful. she walked me through the menu, recommended great dishes, and even made sure the spice level was just right for me. Portions are generous (I ended up taking half home, and they kindly packed containers for me). Butter chicken was flavorful and delicious! Definitely coming back, thanks to Kiran’s and the rest of the team's warm welcome and the tasty food! 🌶🍛🍚
10 out of 10 experience. It just opened up and they’ve already nailed it. We ordered egg burji, an egg sandwich and an amdavadi touch (potato) based sandwich. They were all freshly made, and served hot. Excellent service and they were super accommodating and sweet to the kids. Can’t wait to be back! ☺️☺️
We loved this place! The service was friendly and the server recommended some great dishes for us. The flavor was fantastic and the portions were big. We ordered the hum, Tom, bullet fry, and the chicken masala sandwich. It was all delicious and we would definitely come back again.
We loved the food here. The toofan curry was quite different and tasted really good. The chicken butter masala is far better than any other place we have eaten. Can't complain about dal makhni. We will return.
We stopped in randomly and tried the Chicken Kadai, dahi puri, and Hum-Tum. Everything was delicious and we were absolutely blown away by the flavors and textures in the food. You could taste all of the individual spices. Food was fresh and service was really good too. We enjoyed the fun atmosphere and music but we were still able to talk and hear each other easily.
We have been to eggoholic multiple times and it has always served us good.. the people working there are friendly and have great recommendations. We were served by Amara this time, she recommended us the goli sodas in flavour minty mojito and nimbu masala both being really good. Also the panipuri & dahipuri are amazing. We tried the french toast and egg masala sandwich too. Great food, amazing service by the staff. Would definitely recommend coming here. They have got halal chicken items too for people who are looking to try.
We had a great experience at Eggholic! The sandwiches were delicious and packed with flavor. We especially appreciated that they stay open until 11 PM, making it the perfect spot to hang out with friends late into the night. It's a fantastic place for a casual bite and good vibes!
Just had an incredible dining experience at Eggholic. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We ordered the Vada Pav, Paneer burji with roti and everything was flavorful and expertly prepared. The service was good. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, perfect for a night out with friends or family. If you're a fan of Indian street style food, you have to try this place! Highly recommend!
This might be my new favorite restaurant! I found this place while searching for something still open after my shift ended, and now I’ll have to keep going back until I try the whole menu. Service was great and quick, it has a nice atmosphere for dining in, and the food is phenomenal. If you’re a spicy food aficionado, “Indian hot” is nothing you can’t handle. It’s not as spicy as Sab-E-Lee (is anything?), but they don’t shy away from the chili. I’ll definitely be recommending this place!
My friends and I came here to eat for brunch and it was our first time here. We were amazed at how spacious it is inside! When ordering, Amara gave us recommendations and was patient and kind. I also liked how there are a lot of vegetarian options here. The food was delicious and full of flavor, I will definitely be back!
Authentic spice kick in a hidden Miramar corner If you’re expecting a generic hotel buffet, this place will completely reset your palate. I ended up here while dropping off my truck for service at the Range Rover dealership around the corner, and I’m glad I did. It’s a legit Indian street food gem. The Chicken Butter Masala was the star; the sauce had that perfect balance between creamy texture and a bold spice profile, plus the chicken was tender, not dry at all. Pro tip: I asked for a side of shredded cheese for the masala, and melting it in took the dish to a whole different level. My only minor gripe was the Garlic Naan—while the texture was spot on, the garlic flavor was a bit too subtle for my taste; it lacked that aromatic "punch." My wife, who usually avoids heavy spices, went for one of their signature egg dishes (the Egg Bhurji, I believe) and loved how fresh and balanced it tasted. The vibe is fast-casual—quick and efficient—but the place is remarkably clean. It’s the perfect spot if you’re in the area and want real, soulful food without the fuss.
Absolutely loved the place! The food was amazing — full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient — our order came out super quick even during a busy time. Everything from taste to presentation was spot on. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving delicious Indian street-style dishes and great hospitality!
Absolutely loved my recent visit to EggHolic! Every dish was bursting with flavor — fresh, perfectly spiced, and cooked just right. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian street style egg dishes and great vibes!
Love the food here! Came here with a few friends since Eggholic showed up as a recommended restaurant. I love the variety of curries and different sodas! They are extremely flavor and came out fast!
My wife and I stumbled upon Eggholic while looking for a new lunch spot. Oh. My. Goodness. It takes a lot for me to recommend new spots nowadays to other people and within a few bites of everything we ordered, I was texting friends about this place. That’s how impressed I was. Everything we ordered was rich, flavorful and on a cold, overcast day in San Diego, it was the perfect comfort food.
Our lunch at Eggholic was a great experience! The best dish was the Chicken Masala sandwich. We also ordered Pani Puri (good but not tangy enough), Samosa Chaat (tasty but samosa was soggy and not crispy), Tandoori Chicken (flavorful, juicy, tender, and mild), Tea (hit the spot), Rabadi and Rose Falooda. We preferred the Rabadi over Rose Falooda which was too sweet. IMO, the Falooda wasn’t good value. We will be back to try other items from the menu
Super tasty food, and the staff were so nice and explained all the dishes to us ☺️ We had the egg bites, very savory and delicious, and Hum Tum which was a mix of three sauces with both runny fried egg and hard boiled, served with a lovely fluffy bread roll. If you don’t know what to get, get this! It’s also a really nice atmosphere, with fun music and actually comfortable chairs!
Best Indian street style sandwiches in San Diego. Perfectly grilled, and stuffed to perfection, reminds me of home. The egg dishes were amazing too! Perfectly flavoured and delicious!
I had no freaking idea I’ve been eating eggs wrong my whole life. The food here is transcending and should be approached as an experience!
I got to see a lot of Indian restaurants in the area and this place was fantastic. I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine and learned a lot from YouTube, so I had to try the street food. Me and my sister shared vada pav, egg pulau, pav bhaji, and dahi puri. Everything tasted amazing! I showed my sister that vegetarian food didn't have to be bland and she was so amazed how flavorful the food was! The cashier was also surprised how much I loved Indian cuisine, haha. Sadly we were only visiting the area, but if we had an Eggholic in our area, we'd go there at least once a week! I recommend just going in blind. Ask the cashier for any recommendations. I loved everything, but my favorite was the pav bhaji which I think had egg in the curry.
I had the Hum Tum, the flavor was good, the texture of the eggs was good. The dish was a little too salty for my taste, and the roti had a whole wheat flavor I was not a fan of. I tried some of my friends’ dishes too and they all had good flavor
As someone who is new to eating Indian food, this place is so good! We got Bhurji Pulav, Dahi-Puri, Pav Bhaji, and Vada Pav. Everything was so good and the workers here are so nice! You need to try this place out if you’re in the area!
Food: Everything was absolutely delicious! My family and I love Indian food, and this is the best Indian place we’ve been to. Since it was my first time here (I just googled pani puri), I wasn’t sure what to order—but every dish we tried was amazing. Service: Karin was the one who took our order, and she was so helpful. I was having a hard time with some of the names, but she patiently answered all my questions and even gave recommendations for things not listed on the board. Her suggestions were perfect and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a warm and welcoming vibe. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, everything felt smooth and pleasant. Overall: Such a great first experience! My family and I left happy and full, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
Great food and service. Different types of egg dishes , vada pav and dabeli. Authentic Indian masala tea. Amara at the cash counter is very friendly, smiling personality-she recommends dishes which are top notch

I bet you’ve never tried eggs like these before! The popular Eggholic has recently opened its first West coast location here in San Diego. They specialize in a variety of Indian street food including eggs prepared in creative and flavorful ways. Savor their special eggetarian cooked in different gravys, and sauces. Plus they have rice and sandwich options as well. They also have a huge selection of items including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Enjoy classics like samosas, pani puri, paneer butter masala and tandoori chicken. But you can’t pass up their spicy bold savory sauces. .
Great spot in Miramar for anyone who loves flavorful Indian-style egg dishes! Eggholic offers a wide variety of creative egg preparations along with excellent vegetarian options, all made exactly as described and bursting with authentic taste. The food, service, and overall vibe were all spot-on — definitely worth a visit!

We have ordered dahi puri , panner masala sandwiches 🥪 and Surti gotalo . If your bill is more than 40 dollars, you will get 7$ off We have to scan the code to get menu . Dahi puri - it’s has only too much sweet dahi It didn’t felt that good . Panner masala sandwich- it’s good , crispy and spicy gravy . Surti gotalo - too spicy . It’s not at all good It felt like pour the hot chill powder on the top . We came here by looking at the reviews . We didn’t satisfy well We have order at the counter and we have to get plates by ourselves
Great food. I have loved the taste since day one. And I have recommended this place to my friends as well. Must try their Dahi Puri (don't miss out). However, I faced an issue for to-go order. I think they are skimping on quantities for to-go order. The attached pictures shows what I received on to-go order. I have had the same dishes at the restaurant for dine-in and quantities were much different (almost double). I hope this gets addressed. I don't think this order was worth the $30+ I paid for.

Extremely disappointing experience This was honestly one of the worst Indian restaurant experiences I’ve had. I ordered pani puri, and it was completely inedible — ridiculously salty, to the point where I couldn’t even finish one. When I complained on the spot, the staff casually said “we’ll do something next time”, which is not a solution when you’re paying for food now. On top of that, they refused to accept cash, which limited my ability to order anything else or even fix the situation properly. That was extremely inconvenient and poorly handled. The pav bhaji was also not up to the mark — bland, lacking flavor, and nowhere close to what authentic pav bhaji should taste like. Overall, the food quality, attitude, and payment restrictions made this a very unpleasant visit. Definitely not worth the money and I won’t be coming back. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good Indian street food.
*Mixed Experience at Egg-o-Holic San Diego* I recently visited Egg-o-Holic San Diego with high expectations, and while the ambiance and decor impressed me, the food and music fell short. *The Good:* - The restaurant has a beautiful, clean, and modern decor, creating a welcoming atmosphere. - The dining area, restrooms, and overall space are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. - The menu is creative, with some unique and intriguing options. *The Bad:* - Unfortunately, the food quality and taste were disappointing. - Dishes we tried: - Kadhai chicken: tasted stale and lacked flavor. - Veg grilled sandwiches: fell flat. - Pav bhaji: didn't impress. - The chicken seemed old, raising concerns about freshness. - The music selection was grating, with an ear-piercing volume that made conversation challenging. - The playlist was an assault on our ears, with each song more jarring than the last. Overall, Egg-o-Holic San Diego shows promise, but needs to revisit its kitchen and playlist. Hopefully, they can address these issues to create a more enjoyable experience. *Recommendation:* Give Eggoholic another chance in the future to see if they've addressed their food quality issues. For now, it might be best to stick with other established options.
TL;DR This spot has some serious flavour bombs—especially the egg sandwich and mango lassi—but the front-end experience needs major restructuring. Excellent customer service from the staff, but disorganized order flow, lack of layout clarity, and a stressful menu setup dropped my original 4-star rating down to a solid ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ and is now dropping to ⭐ ☆☆ ☆☆ due to price hikes since opening. Overall Experience The decor is charming, the space is visually inviting, and the background music adds a relaxed vibe. However, the overall layout and flow of the restaurant need serious attention. There’s no clear separation between the dining area and the ordering area, which creates confusion and a sense of overcrowding. Something as simple as floor tape or stanchions could go a long way in guiding customers and creating order. The digital menu scrolls too quickly, making it hard for first-timers to follow along or make confident choices. The paper menu lacks pictures, which could easily help customers get familiar with the dishes. I even saw a few people walk out due to the chaotic ordering experience. Despite these issues, the cashier and waitress were amazing—friendly, professional, and attentive. Unfortunately, they seemed overworked and understaffed. There’s space for more registers and clearly a need for more help, but the manager’s response during peak hours was to hover and micromanage instead of jumping in to assist. This only added more pressure instead of resolving the bottleneck. With just a few adjustments—better queue organization, a slower digital menu, improved paper menus, and more support for the team—the customer experience could be completely transformed. My Dish-by-Dish Critique 🥪 Anda Masala Sandwich Described as “flavored eggs and veggies,” I expected scrambled eggs but was pleasantly surprised by a delicious mixture of seasoned boiled eggs, bell peppers, tomatoes, and paneer. It reminded me of a Japanese egg sando in all the best ways. The portion of the egg mixture was small, but the flavor was powerful and satisfying. I loved it so much I ordered it again on my second visit. Rating: 5/5 🐔 Chicken Masala Sandwich This sandwich was a letdown in terms of texture. It had the same bread and base as the Anda Masala Sandwich (which was perfectly toasted and fluffy), but the filling resembled a soft, Indian-spiced chicken salad—something I didn’t expect. The flavor was good, but the texture was off-putting. Rating: 4/5 🍳 Egg Bhurji (with white bread) Tons of flavor, but the egg taste was drowned out by the spices, even though we asked for it mild. The texture of the scrambled eggs was great, and I still enjoyed it—especially with white bread, which I personally prefer over roti for eggs. I’d order it again, possibly in a different style to see if that improves balance. Rating: 4.5/5 🍚 Bhurji Pulav Basically the same egg bhurji but served with rice. Portion size was generous, and the price was fair. However, the cilantro was overwhelming, and the dish felt dry after several bites, even though it wasn’t technically dry. I think a side of raita or yogurt or even pickled onions would have helped bring this dish to life. Rating: 3.9/5 🥭 Mango Lassi Perfect. Cold, sweet, tangy, smooth—everything you want in a mango lassi. I’d order this a thousand times over. That said, $5 is steep for the small portion. Ideally, this should be closer to $3.50. Rating: 5/5 Would I Come Back? Yes—for the food. But only when it’s not busy. There are some serious winners on the menu, but the disorganized layout and lack of staffing turn what should be a chill experience into a stressful one. If they address those issues, this place could easily become a favourite. Update* I went back to try it again, and found that everything has double in price since they open. That same Anda Masala sandwich that use to be $7 is now a whopping $12.99. The food was worth the price and the quality I paid for it 2 months ago, but at this price range and the quality that you get. It’s no longer worth it.
