Hilarious, trashy, justified. Good vibes all around, pool tables are alright but free pool on some weeknights is great. Cheap as drinks. Cheapest drinks in PB and solid tenders with good vibes. Weekends it’s packed, but so is everywhere half again as costly so idk you figure it out.

Fox is the best dive bar in San Diego. Don’t come if you’re cool.

This place rocks! Prices arnt ganna hurt you in the morning. Each bartender is easy to interact with and Sisco is a tourist attraction! Easily best bar in PB allways a great crowd and it’s a very cozy place.

was visiting from seattle and stopped here because of the insistence of my friends who are visiting from albuquerque and has visited here before. best dive bar i've ever been to. the bartender, forget her name but pregnant is so charming and lovely and friendly. i had the jukebox with my tunes for a good hour and no one interrupted it, and people were just vibing and having a good time. great bar, wish they had one like this one in seattle...

We came here last night for NYE and it was very lively and fun! Great way to go into the New Year. Even with all the people there, the service was impeccable. The bartenders got our drinks very quickly and were very friendly. We will definitely be back soon.

If you like dive bars this is the venue for you. It’s got everything you need from a juke box, pool tables, and darts. It’s got good drinks it’s open at 6am until about as late as it gets. If you go early you will meet a lot of fun locals. Worth swinging through if your a dive bar fan. This place did a great job of cleaning after the pandemic but they still need to clean the air filters.

They don’t serve food here. This is a gem a classic dive bar. Something that’s going away quickly. You step down into a basement and into the darkness. You can feel and inhale the history of this place. It has what very few bars have, cheap prices. Classic drinks. No $18 rosemary sticks in your cocktails here. At the end of your visit, you will feel that you can still afford to pay your rent. When you step out, it’ll definitely take a minute to readjust to the light. I hope this place never changes.

It was late and really crowded when I went here and I didn't stay long, so I can't say much as to how this place is. It's laid back with a lot of people playing pool and standing room only. I didn't get my own drink, but my friend seemed to come back with our drinks quickly, especially considering how crowded it was.

"Terrible Experience Every Time" We’ve visited this place three times to play pool, and every single time, there’s been an older man who calls himself “the doctor” who completely ruins the experience. He’s constantly hovering over the tables and never leaves us alone. The last time we went, we waited for 2 hours to get a table. As soon as we started our game, this man and his friend asked if they could share the table with us. We agreed to let them play, and after just 5 minutes, he finished his game and told us to leave the table! It was beyond frustrating and disrespectful. This place seriously needs to address this issue and remove this guy from the premises. My friend and I had a terrible experience every time, and we won’t be coming back until they take care of this problem.

I had my birthday here, and while we had fun, the bartender was such a rain on my parade. She didn’t like the music we were playing so she continued to turn it down and complain to my friends about it. She also didn’t know what a Negroni was….. this is a dive bar so I should’ve known to maybe not even ask, but really?? Responding to that hilarious reply: Are you not aware that AMI music is installed into this sloppy establishment? If you’re not familiar, once you do that, that gives the guests ability to play music through the app. Therefore not leaving it up to the bartenders (if you can even call them that, considering they’re not knowledgeable on classic cocktails) to set the vibe. But don’t get me wrong, your bartenders do set a vibe! The one where I’m not so sure if they wash their hands regularly or are into things like cleaning… considering the environment they chose. While over the past few months I've seen the owner reply to many of these reviews but for some reason they never replied to this one. I guess they only reply when they have a remark to say that would be considerd snarky and of a low level caliber. I never seen any responses where they took ownership of a customers issue and said they will strive to do better. I went to the Silver Fox Lounge tonight with my Government Licensed Service Dog, trained to do a specific task, and is only 7 Lbs., while being contained and carried in a satchel over my shoulder, Upon entering I was turned away due to the dog not being allowed in this establishment. I attempted to advise the Doorman, Mr. Hernandez I believe, That he is a Licensed Service Dog, I had his tag and vest, and this is a public place. Mr. Hernandez stated he didn't care because I was in a private business which is not a public space. I advised him that he is violating my ADA rights and to look it up on his phone or call his boss and make sure. He refused to do so and became very stern, repeating himself that I was in a private business and what I was telling him didn't apply at the Silver Fox. He did not want to hear anything I had to say, see anything I attempted to show him, and did not attempt to double check with anyone. He spoke aggressively and was very authoritative which almost led to an altercation after I had to put my dog back in the car and went back in to tell my coworkers that I was denied entrance and I would see them Monday.

This dive bar's abysmal service is matched only by its leaky ceilings, creating a miserable atmosphere. The bartenders seem to specialize in yelling and demeaning patrons, making it an unpleasant experience for anyone seeking a night out. Save yourself the headache and find a place that values its customers.

Told the bouncer that a guy had groped me and a few other girls, bouncer refused to do anything about it. Never had a bar refuse to deal with someone who’s inappropriately touching women. If you go here beware of the lack of business standards.

Carolina was extremely rude to us! She seemed put out when I asked if she could wipe the dirty bar and when I asked which nice bourbon did they have she said she had no idea. Then when we flagged her down because we had been sitting without drinks for a while she told my friend he can just leave! Won't ever be back for that bad attitude and rude behavior.
