I’ve eaten here countless times while staying at the Kona Kai in San Diego! The desserts are awesome and breakfast is my favorite here. The eggs Benedict and French toast are great. I also enjoy the ahi tuna appetizer.

My wife and I visited the Vessel for our wedding day. We had the best time. Specifically, TJ, Collin and Aaron of the vessel were absolutely amazing. The customer service, is top notch, the food is delicious and the views were absolutely beautiful. We found our new stay spot when we come to SD!

Wandering in Paradise

Had a lovely dinner at Vessel in the Kona Kai Resort in Point Loma! The view on the dog friendly patio is stunning. Great wine list, we really liked the Pinot Grigio. The food was very good, we ordered the ahi tuna tacos, lobster carbonara, miso sablefish, and for dessert the espresso chocolate ganache tart. The dessert was the highlight for us. They also have a nice dog menu as well as kid menu. Excellent service, friendly, accommodating, and quick. Recommend!

Delicious food with great views. Relaxing atmosphere. Their menu is simple and uncomplicated. Came in for brunch with a group of coworkers. The service was excellent for a group of 10 people. Carafe coffee was on the table on arrival as well as glass water bottles. Mimosas were tasty and strong. We ordered an array of Eggs Benedict, Omelette, Avocado Toast and All American Breakfast. Portions were generous but not exaggerated. We had a great meeting. The place is not noisy at all and the music was soft and relaxing. The decor is inviting. Place is clean. Street parking 🅿️ or Valet parking with 2 hour validation while dining. We might have to come back soon. FYI there’s an 18% gratuity fee for large groups as well as a 6% surcharge to assist with increased employee wages so keep in mind that adds to your check.

Simply spectacular! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Marine and David put the finishing touches on an unforgettable night for us with their attention to detail. Toni, our personal master chef for the evening has perfected the art of making mouth watering crusted dishes! Me and my husband dine out on a regular basis, have sampled countless cuisines, establishments and Vessel has definitely crack our top 5 list. Highly recommend a visit

A great place to celebrate birthdays! The food was excellent, definitely chef prepared, generous portion and fresh ingredients. I had the Lobster Carbonara and was surprised to have a lot of nice size lobster chunks. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the sauce was just right for my taste buds. The Pork Chop was a nice portion, garnished well and fully satisfying. I enjoyed the view, atmosphere and the service. I can't leave without trying their dessert so I ordered the Tableside Affogato which completed this wonderful dining experience.

I recently visited a seafood restaurant that offered stunning views and a lovely ambience, making it a great spot for a special occasion. The waterfront scenery, combined with the stylish décor, created a serene and relaxing dining experience. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food made it worthwhile. I highly recommend the scallop entrée – perfectly seared and bursting with flavor. If you're looking for a place with a great view and are willing to splurge a little, this restaurant is a fantastic choice.

My wife and I were visiting for a marriage conference and were staying at the resort so my wife booked a reservation. The whole dinning experience was exceptional, food was perfect, service was friendly and hospital while giving great suggestions. The manager even came over and checked on us and was very personable. We loved it so much we came back the next night for dinner. It was just as good as the night before. When we come back to San Diego we will be back and will recommend to all our friends!

Our server TJ was so kind and helpful, as well as the manager, Collin, who hooked us up for our visit since we just got married the night before. Aaron also is great! Peaceful, great views, and outstanding service. We might stay another night at the hotel too because we loved it all so much.

This restaurant is habitually understaffed. The servers are visibility stressed and can't handle the amount of clients they need to wait on durring peak hours. I still tip them out well but the management really needs to take a look at what is going on in the front of the house and set more realistic goals for their servers. They are tasked with the impossible.

Service was great, atmosphere and view is great. However, NOT worth the high price for the food. The descriptions sound delicious but the food falls flat. I can cook a better meal at home with a blind fold on! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I still tip them out well but the management really needs to take a look at what is going on in the front of the house and set more realistic goals for their servers. The view is stunning! The actual restaurant is very hard to find. Just walk in to the lobby and they will direct you. Don’t follow the signs that are up. Food 3/10 The poke was probably the worst poke bowl I’ve even had. Brussels were average. Lettuce wrap was 2/10

We brought a group of eight for Thanksgiving lunch. While the food was pretty good, the service was absolutely awful. We were seated, given water, and told the waiter would return to take our drink orders—but he never came back. We had to track him down just to pay, and then a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. It felt like he knew he’d get his tip regardless, so there was no effort made to actually serve us. We spent over $700 for genuinely terrible service. Very disappointing.
