Opiniones de Capo's San Francisco
Everything was amazing and really fresh. We will definitely make this a regular on our adventures in San Francisco. We ordered the vietnamese iced coffee, ice tea, fresh mango smoothie, fresh shrimp spring rolls, grilled pork and egg rolls over rice noodles, chicken cabbage salad, wonton soup (. ...as you can see from this picture, my teen enjoyed the soup immensely). Everything entered the empty plate club!
Very delicious highly recommend. Staff was friendly. Needs more organization and more attentiveness to the customer. Will return! Very very good
Just had a fantastic lunch at this Thai cafe! Tried their **beef soup** – absolutely delicious, packed with big, **flavorful peppers** that had a great kick! Also ordered a **mango-strawberry smoothie** which was perfectly refreshing and sweet. The food has a genuine **home-style feel** that's really comforting. Service was **friendly and attentive**, making the visit even better. Highly recommend if you want tasty, authentic Thai flavors! Will definitely be back. 👍
Delicious food, lovely service in a relaxed setting. I had the pork banh mi 👌
Great place, with great staff and great food. Also food is fresh and lots of gluten free options. Loves the Pho!
Welcomed in with care. The food was prepared in a timely manner and the recommendations from the server were pristine. The restaurant itself felt like a family run mom and pop shop and the vibe was comfy. They seem to organize some community events within it too! The food portion was a lot! Definitely worth the cost and a visit. Thank you for the hospitality.
I ordered their noodle soup, and it was absolutely perfect for a cold evening. It came out quickly, smelled amazing, and the flavor was outstanding — rich, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. Friendly service, great portions, and delicious food. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend My Canh to anyone craving authentic, flavorful Vietnamese cuisine.
Took my mom and my niece there for dinner and the food was great! We ordered the spring rolls and they were out of this world! The dungeness crab noodle soup is their signature dish. The Pho soup with rare beef and tripe was amazing and their jellyfish salad was tasty starter.
Great spot at a busy intersection in North Beach! Very friendly and attentive staff, food was cheap and delicious. Left very satisfied, would come back again. We tried the Vegetarian Banh Mi and Chicken Vermicelli dish. Both were great.
Dined in last week and did a pick up today. Every dish we had during dine in was excellent. Today’s Bahn Mi sandwiches were superb! Prices are very reasonable! The lady who runs it and her staff are delightful. Both times we got into a conversation where staff show interest in who you are! Highly recommended!
I’ve tried their eggrolls, bahnmi sandwich, and vermicelli noodles with grilled pork! Everything was so good! The grilled pork especially has that perfect smoky flavor. I love Vietnamese food, and I’m so glad I found my go-to spot.
Mỹ Cảnh Restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant serves many delicious dishes such as grilled pork with rice, rare beef with lime, crab noodle soup, and crispy Vietnamese pancakes (bánh xèo). Each dish is full of rich flavors and truly represents the essence of Vietnamese culture. When you come here, you will not only enjoy the food but also the warm and attentive service from the staff. Every visit makes me feel like I am at home—just like when my sister used to cook for me. I haven’t lived close to her for nearly 20 years, but whenever I dine at Mỹ Cảnh, it brings back that same comforting feeling of home. Thank you to the team at Mỹ Cảnh for your heartfelt service and for always making me feel welcome.
Went shortly after Xmas. We had a reservation for 4:30 and got in as soon as they opened. We had 2 appetizers: squash blossoms and the three meatballs. Both were very good, but the squash blossoms are a bit small to note. (4 pieces) We also had the chopped salad which is a large portion It was somewhat loud as the restaurant was quite busy, but for the most part we were able to hold conversations at the table quite well. We had three pizzas: a cracker thin margarita, a Detroit Little Italian and a cast iron Dillinger. All three were very good and each crust was unique from the others. The cast iron and Detroit style crusts biggest difference is the shape, circular versus rectangular. The Detroit is airier. We also ordered a liter of wine, Tony's Red blend. It was pretty good but bordered on the acidic rather than sweet or bold. Lastly we had tiramisu for dessert. It is smaller than I'd expect, servedin about a 6-8oz glass for $10. Overall, its all very good. Tony's food never disappoint. However, the price point is high, so it should be reserved for special occasions.
So many great reviews and we wanted a great Italian dinner for our last night in SF. Thankfully I got reservations online because this place gets busy. When we walked in it felt like we were transformed back to old Chicago. The plush leather seats, dark atmosphere and mobsters pictures on the walls. The staff were awesome! Our server was “N” but can’t remember her name. Spectacular 💫 She was helpful and so friendly. We decided on a couple glasses of wine (very tasty too) and the Caesar salad. When it came out my eyes bulged out. It’s HUGE!!! Omg it was scrumptious with fresh Parmesan and the anchovies on top. LOVED IT! She helped us pick the Old Chicago (think cracker crust). The deep dishes were way too much for us to finish. It didn’t take long to come out and it was simply amazing as well. Loved every single bite. You have to stop here for the food, atmosphere and service!
Capo's lives up to its name as the top! The Italian food here is superb. We started with the caprese salad which had poached tomatoes that were skinned and had a light spatter of olive oil. We also had the Detroit bootlegger. It was huge enough for 4 hungry people. Like a deep dish but rectangular. Its super
This is the best pizza spot in SF, hands down. They only make chicago deep dish, detroit deep dish, and tavern style thin crust, but if you like those 3 styles, there is no reason to go anywhere else in the city. Same menu as Tony's down the street and same quality, with none of the wait time issues. Staff is super nice and friendly and you can get a table almost always instantly. Pizza is absolutely delicious here, love this place. So many varieties with sauces and toppings. Must, must, must check them out.
I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and have to give up gluten. I decided to delay the diet until after I visited Capo’s for one last Chicago-style deep dish pizza! It was fantastic – everything I could have hoped for. The chocolate chip cannoli was fantastic as well. The staff was very friendly and made the experience very enjoyable.
This is my new favorite restaurant in not just North Beach but The city as a whole. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Grace especially. She makes you feel like a regular your first time there. Went twice in as many days. The Sausage appetizer was the winner for me. Their Detroit is fantastic. But leave room for the cannoli. They do it right! This place will be on the itinerary everytime Im in the city from now on.
Our go-to place for deep dish pizza, especially love their pepperoni and Detroit deep dish. Its tomato sauce is so rich and thick, mixed with layers of cheese and high quality sausages - just amazing! I’ve tried famous deep dish pizzas too, like the Lou’s in Chicago. Despite Capo’s doesn’t have the same hype, it definitely tastes better!
First time eating a deep dish chicago-style pizza as it's my first time in the US, and this was something else. Very nice, definitely different than a good old Napoletana I am used to :) the thin crust pizza was also very nice! For the two of us (one adult man and one woman), we've ordered a 10" thin crust pizza and an 8" deep dish pie (old Chicago style), and it was more than enough for us. The full-sized deep dish pie looked huge so I'm glad we didn't order it! It seemed like it would fill 4 adult men.
The food is great. The service is acceptable. The staff seem to be always chattering in a language I can't understand, which means it's like going on an expensive vacation in Vietnam. It's a taste of the culture, but without that early 1970s angst of no support for that war. It's a refreshing break from the big box joints. Not everyone wants to risk this. I don't understand and get confused at times.
Service was great! Food was good. The wonton soup was okay.
NEW OWNERS continuing on with new attitude.. service & food is definitely up a notch or more! Posted on their menu “We use organic food ingredients and 100% non-toxic cleaning product, GLIM Super Alkaline Water” 2 favorites remains on the menu .. BUN BO HUE CRAB Soup with thick noods & $9.99 BanhMi
Great down and dirty Vietnamese on the edge of San Francisco’s Chinatown. The aesthetic is rough however the food is great, well priced and popular with locals. We arrived at just around 11pm and the place was alive and clearly popular. Food was tasty and a great find if you’re a seafood lover.
Had good pizza and salad here My vanilla Italian soda just tasted like soda water unfortunately. And with the front door open all night it was freezing cold for our meal. Besides that it was a nice dining experience. Oh, most of the pizzas are very meat friendly, just a heads up to you veggie lovers out there.
We had a Chow Mein special, grilled shrimp & beef bun and Vietnamese spring rolls. The quality of the food was good, but the portion size was quite small especially the Chow Mein came only with a very small portion of noodles and also bun dish was on the smaller side. Given that both dishes costs $17 each I was expecting at least a normal portion size. The interior looks worn out and in a need for an update. They also charge a surcharge for credit cards which was neither mentioned on the menu nor by the waiter. The service was okay expect that the waiter refused to close the door even though it was quite windy and cold outside. The waiter also tried to push me repeatedly to give 20% tip which was a bit annoying.
This placed used to be the IT place for crab noodle soup. Some would say, legendary even... back in the day. Sadly, in September 2025, we got the noodle soup with the crab and it was clear the crab was not fresh. Wife said, don't bother eating it and we tossed our crab to the side. I tried the pork blood, and even that tasted a bit off. This place went from #1 for this, to worst we've had in a while. There was a grand opening banner outside. We should have known. Our second dish, the crispy noodle wasn't too bad. The noodles were indeed crispy which met half the requirements. It wasn't great, but wasn't bad otherwise. Sadly, we will not be coming back.
Tables weren’t clean. They should disclose the credit card surcharge upfront. The “extra large” pho was actually the size of a regular pho at most places. Also, if you want the 10% SF resident discount, make sure to bring an ID with your current address. For reference, my final bill for a $16.xx something dish came out to about $21.something after adding a 15% tip, the credit card surcharge, and then applying the 10% discount.
Crab noodle soup, it’s so disappointed. I used to love this place for crab noodle soup. Food now doesn’t taste as good as before. We asked for crab meat no shell, they said yes then brought out 4 bowls and said sorry they are out of the crab meat without shell. Each bowl is $20 so not worth it. Never come back.
