I was told it’s usually just one person at the bar and one person cooking - I’m sure it gets busy. David did a great job making my drinks and I could see he was fast and efficient on getting to everyone during the rush. Great service great place. Tip them good! They deserve it.
David was very helpful and inviting! Next time i come im looking for him!
It's overpriced but so is all airport food. Despite that, I'm happy I came here. They have a small menu, which is a green flag, and I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which seemed like a safe bet. The grilled cheese was crispy and had nice texture. The Swiss cheese was melted perfectly. The soup was refreshing, spicy, and aromatic.
Originally we only stayed for drinks because the food we wanted at the time was not available. But because of Harvey and Jess we decided to stay only because of their awesome customer service and amazing personalities. On top of that Harvey went above & beyond to make sure the food we did decide to order, was exactly what he wanted.
Everyone please stop saying it’s expensive…it’s an airport. Aside from that, the food was excellent, WAY better than I expect from airport food-this was a lot closer to cute wine bar food. The bartender was sweet and service was fast. Get some food here!
Surprisingly a great experience for airport dining. We had the salmon entree and cauliflower small plate. Both were incredible. Salmon was fresh and cooked well, not overdone or blackened. The cauliflower was flavorful and the sauce for it was perfect. This part of the airport is less crowded and much more pleasant to be in than Terminal 3.
5 stars for the dining experience in the airport. two times lately, this place. Cioppino was first time I tasted it. The babaganoush and hanger steak were served again. The menu appears to revolve. Also good is cocktail. For me, the service was fine because I usually just flag people down.
Good food for an airport. Definitely recommend!
Honestly, one of the best soup and salad combos I've had at an airport. The chicken is perfectly grilled, the chowder is perfect, the avacado cob is unreal. If you're in T2 at SFO, go here! Pliny the Elder on draft, too. It isn't cheap, but nothing in SF is... At least what you get is super high quality.
Pliny the Elder on tap! One of those rare beers that is hard to find in SF, but not here. We had the spinach artichoke dip and it filled us up. People need to be patient I read some of the reviews and sign says "Please seat yourself". Don't go here if in a super hurry. The staff are nice and funny just give them respect cause id imagine it's not easy to work in airport. David served us and made us smile. Positive vibes all around.
5 star for an airport dining experience. Been here twice now. First time had the cioppino. Second time the babaganoush and hanger steak. Menu seems to rotate. Cocktail’s decent too. Service was fine for me since I always just flag ppl down.

Had the catch of the day (tuna) and an iced tea. The food was very flavorful and I really enjoyed it. Service was good. The view was nice. It was a great way to wind down before my flight. I would come back again for sure.
Offer a wider election eg steak. David was attentive and prompt. Good servuce
though we didn't get a chance to try the food, David's service was optimal. His bloody marys as well. Great value for the quality.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and was happy to find a place with good food, small plates, and fairly low prices. Everybody knows airport food is bad and extremely expensive. Cat Cora's is a refined restaurant where I found friendly and excellent service and really tasty food. I had the polenta with mushrooms. It was delicious, but I would suggest they lose the greens or serve them on the side. So tough I could not eat them.
We have been to Cat Cora's Atlanta airport location, so when we saw that they have one in SFO, we went there immediately. We went there in the middle of the day and it wasn't crowded at all, the service was okay compared to the Atlanta location, our server at SFO was not as fun as the one we had in Atlanta, so unfortunately we had an expectation. However, the food quality was exceptional.
Cat Cora‘s has a very nice atmosphere and bar and is a good place to relax waiting for a flight. The food is decent and there’s a bar here as well. The chicken tenders are $20, but they are still pretty good. It is near the end of terminal D by gate D9.
Arrived at this restaurant in terminal 2 D gates before 11 am on Saturday so they told me I could only get breakfast menu. Some of the breakfast items are incorrectly described on the menu but the server helped me understand what was reality. Breakfast sandwich is only made with scrambled eggs. I got cat's traditional breakfast so that I could have sunny side up eggs with real red peppers on the potatoes. Server didn't follow up quickly after which is a concern if you have to catch a flight.
Yoda approves! It’s airport food so don’t get your hopes up but but I was super hyped they had Pliny the Elder on tap….rare. The nugs were a steal for the price but for a reason. It reminded me of the fried chicken tenders you used to get in grade school. Nostalgic, but l’m a grown adult now so I was kinda hoping for more. Yet I certainly loved that Pliny.
If you have to eat at an airport, eat here. Friendly, reasonably priced (for an airport) and really good food! No wait, comfortable bar seats and in and out in less than thirty minutes. It didn't smell, people weren't getting hammered and did I mention the food was actually fresh and good? I had a chicken Cobb salad and it was great. All in with tax and tip $20. No, not cheap but it was fresh, filling and really good. The bartender was helpful, kept my water glass full and provided a pleasant experience. Almost forgot I was at the airport.
Good for quick bite and beer before flight. Burger had nice thick slice purple onion. Good bun.
Slightly upscale bar and restaurant in Terminal 2. The menu features bistro fare and is limited. They do have specials (photo below) that I would assume change. The pork chop was very thin. But with the sauce it was tasty. The cocktails are a bit pricy. The biggest complaint is the service. I think they could use more staff. I understand there is likely hiring problems. I wish they would implement order at the table (online ordering) so the servers wouldn’t have to do as much.
A nice place to eat and hang out before catching a flight. The food is on the expensive side for what you get, but it's also probably better than anything you're going to be offered on a plane, so it does have that going for it. Every time I've been here, there's been a vegetarian item on the menu. What I really like, though, is that this is a tremendous spot to catch some arrivals and departures action. If you can get one of the window seats, and a plane isn't parked at the gate, you've got a direct view of one of SFO's major runways. Nice.

Given the limited healthy dining options during a visit, By the time I got SFO, I was looking for an item rich in protein without being fried. I saw cat Cora had breakfast options and got poached eggs, sausage and hash. While the items were prepared to order, I’d hope the hash would taste a bit crispier. But I think their kitchen is somewhat limited it’s in between two gates.

ordered extra order of scallops, was brought the order without extra items & told "no no it's correct" (I'm in this airport once a month and always get this so I know for a fact that's not true) but was charged for them, waited for the server to come around for 30+ mins after receiving the food, drink was not refilled until I specifically reached out to the same server (also 30+ mins later) the gentleman i usually got served by was always polite & checked in regularly. Will not be visiting this restaurant again & wouldn't recommend it unless you're willing to gamble on the service & food quality ...
Good bar with okay food. Had some good beers on tap. But... The food was really not so good, given that's it's a celebrity chefs place. Had the grill cheese and spicy tomato soup. Soup was bland, thin and lacked substance. The grill cheese was grilled perfectly. But although having multiple nice cheeses and good bread, it didn't taste like anything. Not sharp, funky, or nutty, just smooth and creamy. I had this with rose wine and the wine completely overwhelmed the cheese, no satisfying contrasting notes, just alot of nothingness. All in all they took the long was to get to basic flavors. Prices where reasonable for airport prices.
Granted we're at an airport but with Cat Cora's name I'd think the menu would would have been impressive. It was not. To be transparent, the food could be amazing but we left after drinks as nothing looked appealing.
Grabbing a beer while I’m waiting for my flight. Had no idea that out the door that was going to cost me $20 bucks. It’s a shame that these terminal businesses take advantage of travelers..
If you are looking for a place to sit down and have a meal served, this could be a decent choice although the prices are elevated but then again it’s in the airport Terminal 2. Service is good, staff is nice, an elderly gentleman serving me was really sweet. Overall alright.
Cat Cora's Kitchen is a great restaurant at San Francisco International Airport, near Gate 56a, which offers good service to its customers. Good drinks, delicious food in a comfortable environment is the differential of this house, and its customers can also watch some sports on the televisions of this place, or simply sit back and relax with a glass of wine waiting for the moment to embark. If you also want to charge your cell phone, you can go there, sit at the counter by the glass window and wait for the refill with the company of a glass of cold beer. Anyway, it is a good place to wait for the flight without the worry of being late, as there you will be next to several departure gates. I recommend.
When it comes to celebrity chefs restaurant, I expect a little extra. Something extraordinary. What I got was good, but not special. Kinda salty, overly salty cauliflower,a burger that was good, but, .... nothing special, and sweet fries that were, well, sweet fries. From an Iron chef I would just expect the best, even in an airport restaurant, or at least unique flavors.., something. Was it good? Sure. What is Cat Cora good? I don’t think so.

Salmon was very dry. When he asked for my drink I said it and he walked away. 2 workers, and both were rude. They burnt our food and gave me the wrong drink.
The most overpriced and underwhelming service, low even for airport food. Asked for medium rare burger, got medium well. Paid 5 dollars for soda in a coffee cup. I watched as they poured a pint glass out, only to fill a tiny to go cup because i ordered take out. No tip doesn't mean poor quality. Better off at burger king
Potato’s we’re bland. Literally tasted like plain cooked potatoes. Bacon was cooked to my liking. Wait so long! Portions were tiny for the price. I’ll find a different place next time but this happened to be near our gate. We are going to need a snack before flight due to such tiny portions. $17 for a Bloody Mary is highway robbery!!!!!!! Cat Cora’s kitchen will never again get our money! Ridiculous!

The waitress Sally here, has the worst attitude ever I experienced in my life. I entered and was seeking a table to sit down for ordering the food for take away. She has such a rude attitude and she was so grumpy, she never welcomed me with a nice face. Then I told her I was going to order food for takeout, she never handed me a menu until I asked her for it. Then I wanted to place the order, she was so grumpy, I told her I wanted the burger. Then she stared at me. for the burger toppings, I asked her whether it was $2 for one topping, her attitude was so bad. Then she asked me how I wanted the burger to be cooked, I don’t understand the question first, so I asked her what were the options. then she questioned me you don’t know how burgers are cooked? Then she rolled her eyes and said medium or medium rare or medium well. The burger option has side salad or sweet potato fries, I asked her why she never asked me for the option, she just said it was standard. Finally, the worst worst thing I can ever experience at a restaurant, she later came to me asking what was wrong with me, do I need anything, I told her because she had an attitude. Then she said it was me who had the attitude and it worked both ways. She then took the receipt and said she can refuse a customer and asked if I want to cancel it. I didn’t say anything and then she just took it and cancel the order. I really no idea why she had this kind of attitude to a customer.
Waited for 45 minutes to order. Of the three employees working not a single employee came, there was 5 other customers at the time. Ended up leaving hungry with 3 hour flight. Don’t waste your time here.
came to sit down- been flying for over 24 hours. i came and sat down and eat a sandwich by the window airport. and a server came and told me that i could not sit down unless i bought something. I asked her if i could just eat my sandwich because ive been flying for over 25 hours and theres virtually noone there and i wasnt aware. she said no and when i asked if why the "chef" watched me sit down, pull out all of my stuff, open my sandwich, and sit there for nearly 5 minutes, couldnt sy anything. She had a really poor attitude and began to get really defensive and might i say, rude. im repacking my things while she is just going on about how its my fault even though theres no sign where i went to sit down. it was very rude and unwelcoming behaviour. i told her that and she said, "well youre trying to blame the chef" which really doesnt make sense because whats there to blame? so she acknowledged she was being rude and doing it on purpose. lol terrible customer service and hospitality. 12-30-2024 at 1550 hours. id like to add that the chef was sitting there laughing and shaking his head. just plain rude and lacking compassion.
Burnt hamburger No comment or reaction from server Never asked if it was good Avoid
I played their beautiful piano here until they kicked me off. It was so much fun. If they decide to let people play again, I'll change my review to five stars
Most disgusting place ever. I was there I ordered a chicken wing takeout on November 13. First, the servant didn’t ask me what flavor do I want so I assume it was original salt and pepper. I noticed he ordered some random flavor that he never asked me or confirmed with me when he gave me the bill to sign so I did not give any tip. Then I got a credit card bill that charged me US$28 which means that the Mexican male servant charged me a tip of $10. When I submit a claim for my credit card this place does not pick up my call, and provided some kind of proof. It is weekend so I cannot escalate this claim, I will continue to contact you guys until you pick up my call and let me speak to your supervisor. This is an airport restaurant how can you be so like this?
