I had dinner with my family at Chef Xiong Kitchen yesterday and we ordered several dishes: green peppercorn stewed fish, stir-fried potatoes, pig feet and chicken skewers, cold spicy noodles, beef noodle soup, and stir-fried green beans. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the cold spicy noodles, which were a standout. The portion sizes were very generous and offered great value for the price. Each dish was packed with flavor and had its own unique flair. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our meal. I’ll definitely be coming back, whether for dine-in or takeout! I will also be telling friends and family to try this place out!

This is our go to place for Sichuan food. We had some special local dishes that we typically don’t find in the Bay Area, 魔芋烧鸡,乐山甜皮鸭. Super tasty. Highly recommend!

Stopped by after a hiking day, and felt like I hit the jackpot when it comes to flavor and value. Homemade legit Sichuan pickles, handmade dumplings and handmade fresh sticky rice cake! They even have Bing Fen (they call it boba jelly on the menu)! All the dishes are excellent and right amount of spicy. Service is excellent and attentive. Will be back again for sure!

Powerful Sichuan flavors are being crafted in the kitchen of Chef Xiong. If you’re into that addictive Mala spicy 🌶️ flavor, this place is the pinnacle. I can’t recommend it more highly.

Excellent service and atmosphere! Always check on you to meet your need and the food is always nice. They’re specialized in making Sichuan cuisine, but if you’re not able to eat super spicy food, you can always tell them and adjust the spice level.

Such a wonderful hidden gem!!!! We had the dong po pork and it was fabulously done, and the cold sichuan noodles rocked. Tried some bbq skewers as well and they were excellent (spicy, savory) Don’t forget to try the homemade ice jelly! I can’t wait to come back and try literally everything on their menu (our neighbors had some amazing looking fish and hot pot). What an amazing place for an amazing value. The flavors are so good. Can’t rave about it more.

I love the atmosphere there. Miss Rong Rong is so nice to us. She’s the co-boss of the shop. You need to be nice to her. She will treat you as her family.

Very authentic Szechuan food. The owner/operators mentioned that they are from Sichuan and import all the sauces + spices directly from China. Additionally the head chef hails from inner Mongolia, so their beef skewers were very delicious too. Generous portions and quite affordable priced vs many other places in SF. We will definitely stop by again.

Wow — what an amazing late-night dining experience! My wife ordered the Mongolian beef with rice and I had the beef noodle soup. Both dishes were absolutely mouthwatering — fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. At 1am, the kitchen still managed to serve us incredibly fast; everything came out in about 10 minutes! The chef himself kept checking in on us and the other tables to make sure we were enjoying the food. My thumbs were up the entire time because the flavors were just that incredible. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious, and fresh food in San Francisco — this is the spot. CHEF XIONG KITCHEN is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food with outstanding service.

I went to this restaurant and it was honestly so good. The food was super tasty and the spice level was perfect. I love spicy food and this was just right, not too crazy but not bland either. Everything looked fresh and well-made. The place was really clean too, which I appreciate a lot. Even the bathroom was super clean, which is rare sometimes. The people working there were nice and really chill. Service is super good and fast. They got our food out pretty fast too. I’d totally come back here again. If you love good food and clean vibes, you should try it!

Chef Xiong Kitchen is a fantastic spot that really delivers on flavor and convenience. The atmosphere is no-frills and casual, it feels like a genuine, family-run eatery, which adds to its charm. The service was quick and efficient, perfect for a late-night craving. The food itself is what really shines. The scallion pancakes were crispy and delicious, a perfect appetizer. But the real stars of the show were the main dishes. The spicy wontons were mouthwateringly good, with a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The large bowl of beef noodle soup was incredibly rich and hearty, loaded with tender beef, fresh bok choy, and plenty of cilantro. It tasted incredibly authentic, reminding me of the food I've had in China. it's not a place for a fancy dinner, but for an authentic, delicious, and convenient meal, especially since they're open late, it's a solid choice. It's a lifesaver when you need a great meal long after other places have closed.

First off, the staff initially interaction was a bit rude. I was the only person in the restaurant so I was first told to sit anywhere then the guy told me to move to the other table across the way because "that one was for 6 people" even though they both had 4 settings almost like he wanted me further from the door as he ended up closing the door after I moved over. Got the Lechaun duck but it ended up being cold though it tasted okay but it was definitely not crispy as advertised and a tea which was pretty good. There was no interaction with me after giving me the food initially, no check ins or anything only for them to try to ask me why I didnt lay down a tip after I paid. The guy really tried to rationalize it by saying they only charged tips on cards so I needed to give a tip which sounded absurd. I get that they dont charge tips on cash but there is no reason that they should be asking directly for a tip especially after they didnt give me my exact change back. The I paid with 25 dollars and my bill was roughly 21.73 or so and they only gave me 3 dollars back and looked at me crazy when I didnt lay down money for a tip. Honestly not going back to this place after that interaction.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was left extremely disappointed. Shortly after my meal, I experienced severe diarrhea that lasted for hours and significantly affected my health and daily life. Details • The food tasted mediocre, and some dishes had a strange odor. • While the dining area appeared clean, I now seriously question the restaurant’s hygiene standards. • The staff were polite, but good service cannot make up for unsafe food. • My symptoms started just a few hours after eating here, and I had to seek medical attention due to the severity. Suggestions • I strongly urge the restaurant to improve its food safety and hygiene practices. • I hope the relevant authorities will conduct a thorough inspection to protect other customers. • I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone. This was a terrible experience. Food safety should be the most basic standard for any restaurant. I hope others will take caution when choosing where to eat.
