Opiniones de Piqueo's San Francisco
Piqueo's restaurant offers Peruvian food. Everything that we ate was delicious, lots of flavor. The ceviche was my favorite. The staff were nice, and they spoke Spanish, which is great when going to a Latin restaurant. My only complaint would be that the table were too small for two people. There is enough room to have bigger tables. The music was a bit loud, but not a big deal. And it took longer than usual to get our food, and the table besides us, got it before, even they came after. I have been there twice and would definitely go back and recommend it. Gracias.
Exquisite tastes and aromas in every detail! I wish we had taken photos but we were so happy to eat. Courteous service with pleasant and well protected outdoor seating on a quiet street, with lovely light Peruvian background music. It is a wonderful place for a relaxing lunch. We will be back to graze down the rest of the menu. We went back for dinner 😀
Rare to give an establishment 5/5, but this place is college's best kept secret. Upon walking in, you're greeted by a host/bar tender, entertainment of the night, as well as friendly smiles from the kitchen staff. Luckily this night there was a lively band paying out front. Greeted by name, without even checking in, what magic do they possess? Foodwise: anything cebiche is fire. Authentic Peruvian flavors , delicate fresh fish with citrus, I see why words like tantalizing were invented. Although not a full bar, the bar tender makes magic with what they have , the pisci sour was everyone's favorite . Mains: get the chicharon, it's fatty, it's crispy, it's umami. Octopus well cooked with a Peruvian mint , and the highlight aside from the cebiche was the taku taku (seafood medley ) that will keep you satisfied. Best Peruvian restaurant I've been to , twas the service that made me feel we were eating in someones home . PS: yucca fries are perfectly cooked, don't skip on those badboys
All the dishes we ordered were very delicious. The meat portion was huge and all the flavors were well balanced. Cocktails were tasting too. Plus the service was fast and the servers are attentive and welcoming too. It’s also in a really cute neighborhood and it’s fun to walk around.
When it comes to Peruvian cuisine, I can be very picky. As a native born Peruvian, I know what authentic peruvian food tastes like. Piqueo's was no disappointment. Our dishes Our bursting with flavor, and the chicha morada and maracuya perfectly sweeten and refreshing. Not only was the food wonderful, but the service was on point. Very courteous and attentive wait staff. Hands down, a great experience.
I was taken here for a late birthday dinner. We went on a Wednesday. It happened to be a slower night for them. We ordered sangria to start off with and then appetizers such as the hongos and chicharron de pollo. Both were excellent. We had the avocado with salad on top. For our entries we had the lomo Salado and the churrasco. Both were so delicious. To end it we had a flan like dessert with their cookies. Amazing dinner and I didn't realize they are connected to Mochica. Another place that I love. Willing to give it a second and third try.
We chose this restaurant randomly as we walked through the neighborhood. The staff was warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. The pulpito bebé and the lomito al jugo are absolute must haves. Do not forget the perfectly prepared yucca frita. I cannot leave out the creamy mouthwatering aji de gallina. The alfajores and the panna cotta were the perfect closer to a terrific meal.
Every bite of the pork belly anticucho melted in my mouth, bringing the joys of wellcooked saturated fats. The lomo saltado was perfectly prepared: savory-sweet cubes of medium-done in a soy-sauce with fries still crispy on the outside. It was, overall, a delicious parklet lunch on a cold day.
My daughter was in town and went there. The next day I asked her what kind of food she'd like. She wanted to go back.

Surprisingly pleasant restaurant nestled atop Bernal Heights that is worth trying. The place is not very large but welcoming, making you feel comfortable from the moment you step in. It is has a "San Francisco" feel: not fancy nor pretentious, just a restaurant you would want to go on whim. Very interesting menu with several items we wanted to sample. Great service - friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared and presented. We had the Ensalada Nuevo Andino which reminded of my time spent in Lima decades ago. Scallops A Los Willy - nice. Ceviche Mixto - another Peruvian specialty and the Seafood Paella. Evrything was pleasant. The restaurant was full.... not a surprise.
A stellar Peruvian restaurant with some of the most amazing tastes I've experienced in a long time. The pickled yams, the mushrooms on top of the crab cakes, other little things just added to the overall courses...WOW. A wide variety for all tastes. And the service...stellar!!! Such nice people who really care about their food, service and customers. I can not wait to go back again.

Having passed by this restaurant numerous times, we thought we'd give this place a try for lunch. Indeed we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the calamari and the beef short rib. The spices used on the short rib was so lovely and the beef was sooo tender yet juicy. Also ordered the paloma cocktail - it was also quite good. Worth another try another day !
Tasty Peruvian food. Service could be better. Also noticed that they've started charging for things that used to be offered as complimentary, like the plantain chips. We particularly enjoyed the ceviche mixto, the tequenos, short ribs, salmon, and paella. Overall, it is a good place to enjoy some good quality Peruvian cuisine.
This is my first time here. I am satisfied with the overall experience. We had the Lomo Saltado the causa and I had seared tuna . We also had the crab cakes. It was all good but didn't care too much for the red rice that came with the tuna dish. I'd come back again for sure.
This quaint little place on Cortland has the coziest vibe! The inside is like a small home dining room, and the outside parklet they have made extremely warm and comfortable! The stars of our dinner were the tapas. We LOVED the pork spare ribs, the púlpito and the Pastalito de Choclo. Our entrees were also very good, but neither my husband or I thought outstanding. The ají de gallina was a nice, comfort meal — but we were hoping for a little more spice from the sauce. The Peruvian paella was excellent. It was full of a variety of fresh seafood, all well cooked. My husband finished dinner with the Alfajores — cookie sandwiches filled with Dulce de Leche. Those too were very good! The service was excellent, and had great recommendations. We will definitely be returning to try the Lomo Saltado and the other tapas we didn’t order.
Nice, not crowded. We sat outdoors. Food was fresh and DELICIOUS!! Staff was attentive and helpful. Choices were great. 2 of us, we shared dishes* and had a great lunch w /dessert!! all after we went on a good hike up and down the hill starting from the mid Mission. My rating on scale of 1 to 5, this last being superb. *Ceviche Mixto r4, with crunchy plantain chips, included great combo of calamari, white fish. other fish, shrimp w/ awesome corn kernels of all kinds!. Side of Yucca r5, good size, with parmesano cheese shavings crunchy outside, soft inside, wonderfulness!. Fusion Peruvian Empanada ◇ with chicken! r5+ amazingly! one serving was of good size for us to split and feel content! We also splitted a large sparkling bottled water. It's to commend the fact, that this was served, each glass with cut of lime!. And to end dessert!!! omg! l normally wouldn't have dessert for lunch but having hiked, the guilt was over! the r5. with a taste of port and a delicious cream it was called Suspiro a la limeña, must try!.Thank you! Chef! whomever you're, you made two of us foodies, very Happy!.
Good authentic Peruvian food. Selection of land and seafood dishes. The quinoa crusted shrimp outstanding! Service a little spotty.
The fish, in particular chevice de pescado, is excellent and goes very well with plantain crisps. Enjoy the sangria with your dinner and take a look at the menu for the tapas sized plates: the work great for a dinner out with friends interested in trying the cuisine for the first time. The dessert menu also deserves a check.

The food here was outstanding. The flavors are exciting and the presentation is beautiful. Unfortunately while the service started out great it quickly fell off after the hurriedly delivered our food and drinks. We sat outside and the space was pretty dilapidated, uncomfortable, and crowded. Finally, I'd expect any Peruvian place to make a good Pisco Sour but I found theirs way to sweet.

This restaurant is amazing when you dine there but this is the first time I got delivery. My ceviche was basically a whole sliced onion, some sweet potato and some fish that was throwing 10 ft away. Not worth the price. I also ordered some fries which was $8. They gave us like a handful of fries which would have probably cost him. $0.50 to make would never have delivery again
